We are provide authentic Thai food and serve more than 5 years. We keep our fast, fresh and tasty.
This review base on one visit and one order - the coconut milk Tom sea food soup. I really love the vibe Of this place but the sea food in the soup is not fresh, it is actually of bad and smells so I could not even finish it.
Very friendly service and it looks like a family kitchen, the chef is very friendly.
Maybe I will try again but different dish for sure.
Solid, reliable restaurant to meet any Thai food cravings you may have. Tasty dishes, with pumpkin curry, pad see ew, and chan pad poo (not what it sounds like--these are yummy noodles with crab!) among my very favorites. Probably the "worst" thing about this place is the spice that gets into your nostrils as you walk in, as the kitchen is literally by the door. I have never ordered to go, so that may be a different experience, but all the experiences I have had here are positive ones.
The Thai soup has sugar in it by default unless you ask for it to not include sugar. I'm an extreme health eater
SOLID spot! Delicious food, fast service and attentive staff.
If you love bean sprouts, this is the place for you. They give you a half serving of pad thai for the price of a full serving ($17) and fill the rest of the box with sprouts.
I never feel compelled to review but my terrible experience at this location made me feel like venting.
my dinner attempt here showed me possible unprecedented new lows in the food industry I did not know about. The carelessness and sloppiness was very evident at 930 pm on Wednesday / the waiter is rude and not accommodating to say the least and most probably at his wits end anticipating to leave.as he put minimal effort into me ordering he got me the wrong noodles I pointed at the menu for him because there is no more numbers on their menu and sure as hell I can’t pronounce the Thai names so it was the silver noodles the third by order from the noodles section.
Of course he argued with me and told me that is what I said and I told him iI said nothing I just pointed at the menu item. The waiter reluctantly took the plate back and the cook grumbled in non English and gave me Protesting looks and nervous body language, then a waitress brought me my plate and I wish I took a photo of what I was served in a mush like noodles in undercooked scrambled eggs and it sure looked sick as everyone involved looked away and avoided eye contact( as one of the cooks hit his vape pen under the hood ) , I took a bite and it was matching the gross looks of the food . I ORDERED THIS DISH MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE AND THIS IS A REVENGE NO LESS. I got up and walked out the waiter had the moral authority to come after me and ask me for money and to talk to the manager and I thought wow this zoo is actually managed??? I reached in my pocket and gave him cash and small tip and told him ; GROSS! Tell that to your manager.
Never again and be ware.
Honestly food was ok but the serving size is ridiculously small. Meep
Used to love coming here, but recent visits have been smaller and smaller portions each time. Yesterday it was to the point that an Entry plus rice would leave me hungry at the restaurant, and I could eat another whole entry plus rice. Their wok is nice; food is delicious but I don’t want to leave a restaurant hungry…
2 words: delicious soups! My bro and I had duck & rice noodle ones and it may be the best tasting soup I ever tried. Thank you!
Fook the habit staf place respect the delivery driver
Quick and friendly service, amazing green curry, pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice.
Horrible won tons it was just all fried they wer basically chips
Every time I eat here, I am happy.
Favorite dishes: tom kha, tom yum, pad thai, gang koor curry
I'm sure many other dishes are delicious too - my friends have told me they enjoy their meals as well.
Unpretentious Thai place. Tom Ka was so so. The chicken squers were good.
Literally a produce sticker still on a pepper when served.
It was lunch time, few customer. We order shrimp Pad Thai, Chan pad poo, pad seeu. It was all delicious, the crab was real, 6 shrimp... It's a great place.
Portion is very small for the price and food is not freshly cooked. Service is not that good. But min 18% tip is required, first and last time here.
The food was terrible: the noodles were very oily, and the beef was cold and overcooked. Service was great
This was my absolute favorite Thai place in the city and I used to recommend it. Amazing in person and good for delivery. But in the last year or so they've gotten downright bad. I thought they lessened portions and increased price to survive COVID and was willing to put up with it. But I've now had multiple times that they give me barely any food, soaking in grease, a slightly burnt taste (I think the grease), and no spice/flavor.
Started with the chicken on skewers, very good and a nice sauce. I chose the pork stew for the main course. Just average, I was hoping for more flavor. I will try them again as service was great.
Best Thai food in SF! Try the Kao Soy - you will not be disappointed!
Ordered take out, food was good but unfortunately comically overpriced. Portions are extremely small for what you pay compared to other restaurants.
While there was only 1 server on a seemingly busy night (seated clients + LOTS of door dash pickups) taking orders and serving food for everyone, I still had a very positive experience. While you shouldn't expect extravagant atmosphere or Michelin star service here, this place has some of the best authentic Thai food in the area. Tonight I ordered the HOT appetizer taster plate (egg rolls, fried tofu, fish cakes, chicken puffs, cucumber salad), crab fried rice, and shrimp pad Thai. The dishes are fairly priced for the portions and the food is absolutely delicious! Well done to everyone who works to make this place run. I'll be coming back again!
Nice place , decent food , low quantity , higher price but based on area, I guess it's fine.
The server was great and very nice.
Decent people and nice atmosphere
Their Pad Se Ew and Pad Kee Mao are always great. Medium spicy is the right amount of spice. Good portions too, and the staff are always very friendly. I’ve tried 8 Thai restaurants in SF trying to find one with a decent Pad Se Ew, I’ll save you time: look no further than House of Thai.
Good vegan options. Very tasty. Entrée portion sizes are too small.
Good food, great environment
Highly recommend
very laid back, awesome staff, comfy throw pillows which line the benches along the wall, open late
Mostly leaving this review to remind my future self not to order delivery from here again.
Ordered pad Thai - listed on Uber eats as having shrimp plus the protein of your choice. Arrived without the shrimp. Was a little syrupy. Tofu was cubed and not fried.
The pad see ew beef was decent.
Also asked for spicy sauce / utensils. Order arrived without these.
I think I’ve eaten here in person in the past and it was better.
Good service, nice people, but they don't give you the level of spice that you request, unfortunately. The food is just okay,.. it's not good at all, in fact. They kept apologizing to me instead of fixing the problem or comping the food.
Great shrimp pad Thai! I highly recommend!😋😋😋

Their pad Thai is like no other if you are there when the tall chef is working
Really solid Thai food. Everything I have tried has been fantastic. Particularly the Khao Soi (kao soy), pad Thai and green curry. Highly recommend!
Late night 🌉 eats! Delicious spicy Thai curry paired with mint lemonade makes life extra excellent. Wonderful attentive staff, clean, great prices!
Very authentic Thai the pork leg noodles a delight.
Ordered here twice so far for delivery and I liked it a lot :) they are pretty fast too!
Nice
Ordered chicken pad Thai in the restaurant. Service was just ok. My friend had to get up to get hot sauce himself - the pad Thai was a little tasteless without it. Also, there was a flea or some small fly on my plate after I missed the bean sprouts and the noodles.
Great Food
The restaurant has limited capacity but the chefs were working hard for deliveries. One of my liked dishes, Pad Moo Grob, crispy pork belly sauteed with spices and vegetables, was prepared well and remained crispy, juicy and flavorful after taking home. The h.o.t. combo also offered a good selection of appetizers, including chicken puffs, fish cakes, fried spring rolls and tofu.
Must sit and it try fresh
Delicious food; the tom kha soup is excellent, but quite mild, so ask for it spicy if you like spicy. They don’t have much seating and no outdoor seating as far as I could tell, so I’d recommend it for takeout more-so than a dine-in experience.
It was the bomb for sure. Had the fried pork belly with fried veggies and rice with the most sweet and delicious lychee iced tea I've ever had!
The Chan Pad Poo (Crab noodles) is one of my favorite dishes of all time. Everything else I’ve had from here is also top notch!
absolutely delicious
Great service, food, and price. Best Tom Yum soup - deep and tasty without overpowering.
Great display of food, great taste, great staff, quick service, cozy and comfortable aesthetic! Would recommend.
Amazing curry lots of white meat chicken very good will get food from here again
The pad Thai was delicious.
My go to Thai place. Their Pad See Ew and Ka Moo stand out to me from other restaurants
I ordered the Veggie Fried rice and Thai Ice tea. Both were amazing.
The Rice tasted good and was filling. The Tea was good too. It would have been better of they put Coconut milk in the tea instead of Half and Half.
Fast service and friendly staff. They have started Dine-in service as of July 3 2021.
Take out portions are tiny. Ridiculous
Amazing flavor, real Thai spice when asked for it.
Buen servicio al cliente, comida deliciosa!
Their pad see ew is so flavorful and delicious, I will definetly come here again!
This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant in SF but unfortunately, the quality of food has declined over the years. Pad Graw-Praw, one of my favorite dishes, became reliably bland, so I stopped ordering it. I haven't eaten there in at least a year but I decided to treat myself tonight - a big deal, because I've been cooking all my meals at home for the past year to save money. I ordered the Pumpkin Curry, and the Larb with ground chicken. When I picked up the order it smelled bad but I thought it might just be the cabbage in the Larb. Sadly, the dish wasn't very good, either. The level of spiciness was great but as a whole, the dish was too salty or too tangy, I can't pinpoint it exactly. Then I moved on to the Pumpkin Curry, which used to be my favorite dish, and instead of being its usual glorious self, it tasted too salty and/or tangy, as well. So that's over $30 down the drain. I'm disappointed, House of Thai 2. I doubt I'll ever eat there again.
Loved the crab fried rice
Love this place !!!Crab fried rice is popping
The crab fried rice is everything....
So glad you’re back open for dine-in 🙌🏼wonton noodle soup, red curry, & pad Thai was really good on takeout!
Very good Thai food. The price is a little experience.
Food has been good, but tonight the cook is not wearing his mask per his nose. DO NOT EAT HERE.
I ordered dinner for me and a friend I had the curry with deep fried tofu and veggies the problem is the tofu was like rubber squares that you could barely chew. my friend she had the pad thai it was more like pad not it had a fish flavor and we pacifically asked for no meat or fish in the sauce so I would suggest vegans and vegetarians try another place
Convenient location, fast service, open late, good food, and accurate custom orders.
Lovely service, excellent food!!
I was very excited when I ordered the Roti, which for me is the best fry bread you can get. The order was delivered and I was shocked to see 4 very small triangles of bread. $8.00 for almost nothing. Others from the hospital were set to order from this place and I discouraged it. I will never order from here again and I will continue to advise others not to order from this place. You put out money and get next to nothing. NO THANKS!!! TO BAD I HAD TO GIVE ONE STAR IN ORDER TO POST BECAUSE THEY GET NO STARS FROM ME.
Great affordable Thai food . Always delicious
Our pickup order was ready exactly on time, and our food (we got the pad see ew and pumpkin curry) was great - and still hot when we got home! I also am very happy that the online ordering system has an option to not include utensils.
Be prepared to wait 25 mins for a takeout order and be snapped at when you ask for your food. Finally you get it shoved at you with no apology, no explanation.
Astonishingly rude staff and mediocre food. Best avoided.
Use to order from this place and it was good. Just received an order of over $50 of food and the size and portions are absolutely ridiculous! The fried wontons have absolutely no meat in them- they are just fried wrappers! The Chicken Satay is the same thickness as the stick it’s on, and the portions of everything else is unreal. Not sure what happened here, but clearly they are trying to give you absolutely no food when you order. It’s just a joke! I have never experienced anything this bad! Don’t order from here, unless you want to be given no food for a high price tag.
Favorite Thai restaurant in the city so far!
Great food . Ambience lacking
Good food, but tiny portions. Bag was way too light for over $30.
Very subpar. The chicken is tough and dry, curry broth a bit bland. Not recommended
Very good thai food especially the Ka moo pork plate
No utensils, no rice in my platter, and not very welcoming. The duck was drenched, and overpriced.
Best Thai food I've ever tried! Very affordable too!
Bad customer service and experience
Not sure where House of Thai 1 is, but 2 will do!
Love Vegan pumpkin curry
Great food 👏🏽
Good food and service.
Good Thai food. Friendly waitress
Ordered six different dishes, and all were delicious! And very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Perfect restaurant, the food and the staff there are excellent
Good
Very Tasty food. Reasonably Priced
We dropped into this place rather unexpectedly. Dim lighting, quaint, with the 49er game on a big screen. A friend ordered most of what we ate because I have never eaten Thai food. Six people ate well for a bit over a hundred dollars, and the food was exquisite. Every dish, from the sticky rice to the curry soup, was delicious. The wait staff, cook, and cashierwere polite and gracious. I will assuredly go back.
Mediocre at best.
Good neighborhood Thai food joint. Nothing outstanding. It's just fine.

Excellent service... Yellow curry dish didn't really taste like Curry but more like peanut, but it was excellent.
Nice place for dining
A very delious dinner! We shared 6 different orders and were not disappointed. Excellent service by the Waiter. Very interesting decor, the wallpaper had different locations in Thailand.
Delicious, fast, inexpensive, and well decorated place. A go to for me!
Super small portions for the price. Rude service.
Food was ok, nothing more. There were flies flying all over my food.
Used to really like it food is not consistent
Ordered a noodle dish and a fried rice dish for take out. The containers were only half full when we opened them at home. We also ordered mild/not spicy and both dishes had quite a bit of heat to them. And there was a hair in one dish. Time to find a new Thai restaurant.
