Local Thai food Near Rancho Bernardo, Poway, Escondido, Auto park way
Charm Thai Kitchen serves up good Thai food with excellent service and reasonable prices. We had the Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, and a stir fry all of which were very good. You can order at the counter for take out or from a table to eat in. Not a huge amount of tables so sometimes you need to wait but the food comes out quick and people come and go so you don't usually have to wait too long.
First time trying this place—ordered the fried calamari and pad Thai. At first, the calamari batter seemed too thick, but it turned out to be really good, and the calamari was perfectly cooked. The pad Thai was alright but the smell was off-putting and almost made me not eat it.
Overall, I’d recommend giving this place a try as they have some authentic flavors.
Cozy small place to enjoy tasty Thai food. Soups are delicious. Get them mid level spicy to enjoy at the fullest.
Service is good but they are busy and in a hurry, make sure they get your order right, but even if they don't, they will for sure bring something fantastic!
Skip the appetizers and go directly for some authentic noodles, curry or fish.
This place rules-- among the best Thai restaurants in San Diego county. Really nice service, terrific food and good portions, and the mango coconut sticky rice is the perfect dessert. Can't wait to visit again and try another dish.
Ordered through DoorDash first and really enjoyed the food, so we came back in person! Highly recommend the Eggplant Charm Wok, Pineapple Fried Rice, Avo Curry, and Panang Curry. The Fresh Rolls with Shrimp were also delicious, as they had the perfect amount of herbs (not too much or overwhelming).
Nothing but good things to say! The food was excellent, flavor packed and authentic. The menu was diverse but had so many good things to try. The service was fantastic and way above average. If you're on the fence, just go, you will not be disappointed!
I had the Keaw Waahn Salmon which was excellent, the Gai Zab popcorn chicken which was light and zesty though a tad salty for which they substituted a batch of wings. Like it say, great service! I will definitely be coming back to try more!
I ordered Ginger with tofu. The veggies were sauteed to perfection, crisp and flavorful, and the spice level was perfect, as expected.
We love the crab fried rice, pad thai, and yellow curry chicken. We always get takeout and the food is ready quick.

Food is great , service is good , the beef salad was no taste need to change sauce.
First time trying this place—ordered the fried calamari and pad Thai. At first, the calamari batter seemed too thick, but it turned out to be really good, and the calamari was perfectly cooked. The pad Thai was alright but the smell was off-putting and almost made me not eat it.

The food is very nice , quantity is very nice too . Felt like this place is best for take away orders .

My boyfriend and I have been to this place many times. I’d like a few dishes there and one of is there larb. I simply asked if they can substitute cabbage for lettuce. Our server ask the girl behind the counter who seems to be the manager. The girl behind the counter turned to us and said we don’t have lettuce. I know that’s not true because they always serve most of their entrées with a piece of lettuce as garnish. Our dishes came and I noticed it looked different. None of our dishes were garnished with lettuce in our entrées. The table that came 10 minutes after us had spring rolls with lettuce and all their entrees were garnished with lettuces. I was like wow so no lettuce for us period. She made sure we had absolutely no lettuce for us. We can see they had lettuce!!! I was absolutely ok if she didn’t want to substitute but to take it away from all dishes seems a bit vindictive as if we deserved it. At no point were we ever rude to her. Like I said we came many times in the past. I understand no substitutions. But the point was that was not right! I hope they don’t do that to their other guests. I would never come back after how they treated us. If she wanted us to believe they had no lettuce then don’t serve it to customers after us while we were still there. She made it a point just for us!
Great food
Good Thai food yet a pricy one.
Always amazing food. Add the tempura avocados for the first time and they were delicious. My sister and I both opted for fish dishes and asked for steamed instead of fried. Everything tasted wonderful and of course the servings are so large we had plenty to take home
Good food for the price.
I love this restaurant. The food is amazing. Staff is friendly
Below average food. Terrible service. This place won't last as it is.
Great food and love their Thai Teas
Sometimes, when I'm in the area, I just stop by for a Thai Tea. So refreshing and delicious
Stumbled across this great restaurant. You get a lot of value out of the lunch special. They said it's a half portion but it was a huge plate! Food was ready extremely fast too.
Great Thai for a great price. Quick service. Cute local spot with all great flavor and quality dishes.
Usually busy from Noon to 12:45 in the work week.
Theres indoor and outdoor seating but the location is small. Easy to get seating for parties for 2 to 4. But 6 or more might require a wait.
The best thai i ever had. The one other that lived upto its authenticity is @thaibbq @temecula
Lives up to its name. The food and the service are both excellent.
Delicious Thai food! Love their panang and yellow curries and the pad Thai noodles too. Tasty, not overly sweet as some Thai restaurants have over-altered their recipes to the sugar-based American palate.
Customer service is absolutely horrible. The server was rude, rushing us to place our order when we were not ready. She got mad because we took longer to order and actually tried to take our menus away from us when clearly we were still looking-- claiming she was worried about "getting food on the menu". Very friendly and attentive towards Caucasians, but with asians she was rude and direct. Also, ignored us instead of addressing our concerns when we commented on our food-- as our curry with potatoes and carrots was not cooked and we could not even cut it with our spoon. As for the food it was alright. The dine in atmosphere was okay, kinda small for larger families. We will NOT be returning.
Solid Thai restaurant. We ordered papaya salad , yomyum soup, pad Thai, and crab fried rice. The tomyum soup was excellent, probably my favorite thing I ordered. Pad Thai was just as good as any good Thai restaurant. The papaya salad and crab fried rice was delicious but not something I would write home about. Nothing bad to say at all. We go to a lot of Thai restaurants and this one was on par. I could confidently recommend it if you are craving some authentic Thai food.
The service is great, the food is delicious, it's a family run place and the employees are friendly. What more could you ask for in a Restaurant? I got the Tom ka soup with veggie's and cashew nut chicken spice level 8 and yes it is spicy and if you can palette it great, if not drop to a 5 and see if you can hang. The egg rolls with plum sauce is delicious. Our favorite Thai place in San Diego, without question. Cheers, Enjoy!
We have been eatting here either inside or take out for 2 plus years. We have tried several things on the menu and have enjoyed them all! Good size portions and reasonably priced!
Pad Thai was decent and I liked that they peeled off shrimp shells completely in Pad Thai. It could have some more citrus flavors though. Overall I'm content with it but I would try a different menu next time.
+ Update
Ze ew: pretty good but not great
Spicy basil chow mien noodles: the food is out-of-balance. They give you too much noodles without much protein or veggies and the noodle type isn't as good as the other noodles in their menu. It felt like an instant noodle 🙁 also it was kind of flavorless without the basils.
Unfriendly. You come before 9 when they say they close at 9.30 and they dont let you order to dine in. Even if you tell then nicely and say its just me one person. They had 6-6 other people still dining in…
I love this place! It's only a few blocks away from my house. The food is always excellent, they have indoor and outdoor seating in the service is super friendly and fast!
Service with a smile, especially when you dine in. Beautiful selection of Thai dishes with a bit of a flair. The menu says it all and is easy to navigate. Love the beer selection, too. It is our go to Thai food place. Add a chicken satay to your order. The best!!
Food, service and setting were amazing! We will make this a regular stop.
I'm so happy this is my neighborhood Thai kitchen. The food here has been super consistent over the last 4 years that we have been visiting them. It's great they have their beer license so we can enjoy Sculpin with our food. We are in love with the Panang Curry that has a mild flavor, sweet, creamy, and touch of salty, comes with broccoli, carrot, green bean, red and green bell pepper. We get extra rice to soak up all the extra curry. My son is a picky eater so we were happy they modified one of their Cashew Chicken meals to fit what he likes. The service is great and the seating is a little limited but we haven't ever had an issue.
We ordered a quick lunch to-go of Papaya salad (be careful on the spice level you choose, they use real Thai chilis and very authentic spice level) and fresh spring rolls. This place is AMAZING! Not only did they cling wrap our order so the liquid doesn’t spill in our bag which was a great touch - the portions are ACTUALLY worth the price!!! Amazingly fresh and definitely will drive from Mission Valley again!!
Cozy small place to enjoy tasty Thai food. Soups are delicious. Get them mid level spicy to enjoy at the fullest.
Service is good but they are busy and in a hurry, make sure they get your order right, but even if they don't, they will for sure bring something fantastic!

Best Thai in Rancho Bernardo
So glad a co-worker recommended this restaurant to me. We used to love and frequent another Thai restaurant in the PQ area. The quality and customer service went downhill at said restaurant and we went hunting for another Thai restaurant. Tried a few and never was satisfied with the food taste. We love Thai food but stopped eating it for over a year. Cue in co-worker with good food recs and we tried Charm last week for lunch. Food was amazing, portions so generous, great lunch specials and the servers… I love restaurants with great servers. It’s like the servers were always one step ahead and brought things out to us without us having to ask. Brought out extra plates because they knew I would probably share some of my food with my preschooler, asked if we needed take-out boxes, offered a take out cup for my Thai tea (I only had a sip left!). Friendly, courteous and on top of their game. My husband even asked if I wanted take-out two nights later because he loves it just as much as I did. Thankful we have found a Thai restaurant to frequent again.
This was an out of body b flavor experience !
Everything is delicious, and we order at least once a week. Food is somewhat pricy for portion size if you get takeout but other than that everything is wonderful. Great service and food!
Great food
A perfect Thai neighborhood restaurant.
Best Thai food I have ever had. Super fresh and authentic
Piatti buoni ed abbondanti. Quindi regolatevi con gli ordini se siete da soli o non avete tanto appetito. Dovrebbero migliorare un pochettino il bagno.
I dined here with my family for dinner. Unfortunately, the waitress lacked friendliness, and the calamari, which I wouldn’t recommend as an appetizer, was excessively chewy, greasy, and tasted unpleasant. When I shared my dissatisfaction with the waitress, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue.
Food is just okay. The presentation is great though. It's fairly clean with friendly and attentive staff. I had shrimp fried rice, mango chicken and some curry dish. They were overall just okay, not worth the price.
This was our first time here and our experience was wonderful! Nice open light space, good music in the background, our waitress was excellent, not obtrusive, but quietly attentive with good suggestions when asked. My vege
with added tofu fried rice was delicious with a nice slightly smokey taste. My husband's spicy noodles, and our yellow curry with fish too! Just about everything on the menu has different options including vegetables and tofu. Yummy!
Got food poisoning on Friday after eating Pad Thai 😔
These guys really know what they’re doing. They’re super friendly and the food is delicious and it really pleasant restaurant. I would definitely recommend.
My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for well over a year. Our experience this last Sunday was terrible. One of the reasons why we loved coming here was the portion sizes were large and the food quality was outstanding. We placed an order to go and we brought it immediately home as soon as it was done. When we opened the bag, the food portions were literally half the size as they were a month ago. We ordered drunken noodles with chicken, pad Thai with chicken and one order of fresh rolls with tofu. First off, all of the noodles were cold and soggy. The pad Thai had no vegetables in it and the fresh rolls had two of the smallest pieces of tofu I've ever seen. The rice paper was falling apart and it was just full of lettuce. All of this for almost $50. I called the restaurant to speak with the manager and was told the manager was not available but to leave a message, so I did. Monday I got no phone call. Called back Tuesday and left my name and phone number again, no phone call back. Called Wednesday, same result, called Thursday, same result. Called Friday and the woman on the phone was condescending and said the manager is busy. Clearly they don't value me as a long time customer and to this day I still haven't received a phone call back. I attached a picture of our order and a screenshot of my call log.
After moving to San Diego couple of years back, have been looking for a decent Thai cuisine. My search is over now. This place is a perfect balanced one. Taste, cost and portion : All are balanced one. My favorite ones are: Pineapple fried rice, cashew nut chicken, Thai Basil and Yellow curry. Njoy.
Good food, good quantity. We had pad Thai and a very good curry. Both nearly 5 star.
Not recommended for VEGETARIANS. We ordered Pineapple fried rice and few other things. They sell pineapple fried rice with che Ickes and shrimp, we asked them to do veggies and tofu and they charged us extra for it.
$19.95 for pineapple fried rice is just crazy. Will stop doing take out from here.
Placed an order online with UberEats during lunch. Fried rice was tasty with fresh shrimp. Spring rolls were delicious and well portion with fresh ingredients. Papaya salad was delicious and spicy as ordered. Food arrived fresh and still hot.
Very stingy with tips
6 years ago I wrote a 5 stars review having this place as one of my family's all time favorite. Today, they completely destroyed it. I ordered through Door Dash and it stated 430pm open times therefore I had to schedule an order for earliest pickup time of 505-510pm. They would not cook the food until 505pm which by 530pm I am no longer in San Diego! I was going to share my favorite food with my colleagues out of town tonight! The girl and the manager on the phone blamed on me for ordering through Door Dash and said they open at 4pm not 430pm. I begged them and saying I have been their loyal customer for years please lookup my phone number. They said they do not have record for guests to check if I'm a loyal guests. At this point, I had to change my dinner plan. So I contacted DoorDash and cancel the order. I'm very sad that's how they treat their customers. I know they do not care about losing a loyal customer, but I'm sad that I will never return and will find another place from now on.
Everything was excellent, especially the vegetables, which were perfectly cooked, beautifully spiced, crunchy and tasty. Fake duck was a first for us and provided a welcome contrast to the tofu (recommend the soft over the fried but both excellent).
I tried drunken noodles and fried rice from here couple of times. Good thing about this place is the taste is very consistent all the time.
Cho chee curry and salmon was awesome
Taste has gone downhill from a few years ago. Now food is just average. Only upside are the portions. Service is spotty, hard to flag down despite only having a small space and few tables. And the biggest issue is a 20% charge for a groups of 6+. That’s insane. With that kind of charge, the service better be worth it. But it is most definitely not.
Great food, creative dishes, large portions. Popcorn chicken with seasoning and fried basil is amazing. Avocado curry? Seriously? Yep, seriously delish! Nothing I've ever eaten here was bad. A half dozen tap beers. Underrated, so let's keep it a secret as I didn't have to wait to be seated for Saturday lunch.:). Sorry, photo is from half eaten dish.
Every time I go service is great. Probably my second time eating there I was 1.20 short on my order and they still gave it to me. Servers are always friendly and it’s probably the best Asian/tai place around here. Pad tai and curry are the best. Also love the edamame! I come here as much as I can
Today on January 6, 2022, my wife ordered her food to go. We changed our minds and decided to eat in. They told us we couldn't eat our food inside because we ordered our food to go. I looked at the dude and said, " You are kicking us out." He said you could eat outside; I said do you not want our future business? And I walked away—garbage experience. I love to support local businesses, and I acknowledge how difficult the business climate is in California, but because we ordered to go, we couldn't eat inside, really... They are not doing themselves any favors.
Before and during COVID we loved coming here and ordering take out but we will be avoiding this place for now. Charm Thai Kitchen WAS one of my favorite Thai restaurants, but my whole family has noticed the food quality has gone from A+ to D-. For example, the Pad Thai noodles used to be light and chewy with the protein cooked right and the perfect sauce. But recently the Pad Thai noodles are super clumpy and mushy with the protein burnt and over sauced. The curry has also changed from rich and creamy to runny and lacking depth of flavor. The chef must have changed here or something else is going on!
Recently ordered take out tor dinner
from this place. The food was on point and spice level as expected based on our preference. Loved their Chow Mein noodles and spicy fried rice! I am glad they had vegetarian options to choose from and at the same time keeping the food flavorful.. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for delicious Thai food.
I just got some take out from this place. I ordered vegetables pan see yui spicy level 2. It doesn't taste spicy at all, like 0 spicy. It tastes ultra sour, like level 7 out of 10 sour. I am not sure if that's the cook style at the place or I got some bad food? It disappointed me very much especially after seeing the long line waiting to dine in at lunch time.
Called in an order and they made it to beyond expectations. I have several food allergies and they were able to accommodate.
Pretty decent Thai food. Service is good.
I've had food delivered for work, as well as take out. Both were good. Some vegan options.
Fast and very well done stir fry. Thai basil and medium spice was a flavor explosion. (Made my nose water too - always a good sign.)
Whenever im hungry or lazy to cook i always get my food here.
usually order to go and geez are they fast for pickup.
super friendly!
Love this spot for a quick meal that's super fresh and yummy!
Cute little place. Nice food nice, nice ambience, and very soft spoken staff. Loved both their veg and the non veg menu!
If you order before 5pmish, the pad thai or any noodle dish will be overcooked and missing flavor. However, after 5pm.. the pad thai is amazing. Charm, you need to retrain your day chefs.
The Thai food here was some of the best food I ever had honestly... I woukd have gave this 5 Stars but the lady serving us was not friendly at all.. if you work at a restaurant customer service comes first. But the food was delicious.. I recommend and I'll come back just will request a different server
Very nice Thai place with lots of vegetarian options. Food is very tasty 😋
Some of the food was real tasty we had an issue so we had to leave in a hurry unexpectedly they were not very understanding of accommodating
My third time here! I highly recommend the takoyaki balls and cream cheese wontons. The main dishes and starters were very flavorful and savory. The prices are also pretty affordable for large portion dishes. Will come back again soon :)
So good had spring rolls chicken satay
Chicken pad Thai all great! The Avacado Tempura was the best thing I have ever eaten. I Will be back.
Don't order online. Already waiting 40 minutes after promised time. Keep being told my order is next while customer after customer get their order before me. Would have left but I prepaid.
Food was amazing!!!
I don’t know about servers, I mean the people who works there kind of weird. but food was on point I would recommend this place 10/10
I just had a meeting here to discuss buying a home with a friend and running our businesses out of the home and I was blown away at the food here. If you get a chance to go try the green curry, panang curry, pad thai noodle, and calamari, it's unreal how good it is. Prices are OK and parking is fine.
I moved to maze Thai restaurants when I ask you a scale of 1 to 10 I thought you'd like your food 3 is medium hot.
We went for the charm stir fry with cashews and tofu with a hot reading of six.
We also have pakinnu with a heat rating of 5.
Very filling and fast delivery to your table.
The lunch crowd really shows up at noon for to get there a couple minutes before there's usually no waiting for a table.
Crab fried rice was excellent. Avocado tempura was amazing.
Spicy noodle and egg roll are very good
Few updates on recent experience...it appears that this restaurant is under pressure due to covid or staff or cooks or may be other conditions. Recent experience was something I was not hoping for..my wife's and mine favorite dishes we been eating here for more then 4 years aren't tasting same way anymore. And on top of that I was told to must pay tips irrespective of food if dining in else order to go only. We may try 1 or 2 more times to see if this was just random experience...but I do have my doubts already based on recent hospitality experiences. For now moving down to 1 star which may or may not need adjustment in future
Having read other reviews I really wanted to like the avocado tempura and duly ordered the dish. Whilst, the tempura itself would have been amazing what really made it below average in my book was the sweet sauces poured all over it. Normal tempura comes with a side dish of soy based dipping sauce but no sugar, yet this dish was smothered in sticky sweetness all over. Had the sauce came on the side the option would have been different. Why spoil something delicious with such trivialities?
Main dish of chicken mango curry was tasty. With this dish too some choice of vegetables don't really make a curry very flavorful for me. Eggplant is one of those vegetables. I have tried this dish in different Thai restaurants but this one was first with the eggplant in.
The staff are lovely and the service was quick. There was a large selection of dishes on the menu which was lovely to see.
Testy Food.
Food is quite consistent. Service is wonderful. Great menu and good quality. Fast!
The food is really good!
Best Thai food I’ve ever had! Try their Pad Thai and “Rama”. Fast service and very friendly staff. If your in San Diego it’s a must!!!
They have good Vegetarian options. I have ordered Veg fried rice and Veg Tofu noodles. Both were really good. We can select the spicy levels. It was ready in 20min
Really enjoyed the food at Charm. Pad thai had that great smoky flavor really good pad thai does. Tom Kha was super flavorful, Yellow Curry was great and the Charm salad had the best peanut dressing I have ever tasted. Service was a little slow as we got there at the same time as a lot of other tables but everyone was upbeat and friendly and obviously doing their best. Would highly recommend
It's my second time ordering from here. I've tried the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew - both are personally too sweet for me.
I ordered green curry, panang curry, pad thai noodle, calamari, and tom yum. None of the dishes taste decent. They taste like half chinese, half american food. We do not taste the curry in both curries, they taste diluted. We ordered mild but that does not mean we lose both the spice and flavor. The Tom Yum tastes like regular homecook vegetable soup missing lemongrass, the pad thai is way too sweet but none of them bring up the flavor of Thai authentic cooking. The Calamari has no taste and it comes with sweet and sour sauce, definitely not Thai flavor. Very disappointed first try. Maybe others have very different expectation of Thai Food, these do not taste like Thai foods to me! I wish I can say better but they were all so so!
The food was average and they definitely need to work on their operations. I ordered on a Friday night around and they said the wait would be 30minutes. After arriving, I waited another 20 minutes! We were comped a Thai iced coffee which was quite good - better than the pineapple fried rice or pad see ew that we paid for. We went another night and the stressed-out waitress seemed to have forgotten about us after seating our group. I was going to order out instead but the gentleman ahead of was told 20 minutes and I wasn't optimistic. Might give this place one more try since they seem to be getting a lot of take out orders...
I'm a long time customer of Charm Thai, and after my last experience I won't be ordering from here ever again.
I called to place a pickup order at 9:04pm, and the lady I spoke with on the phone said they stop accepting pickup orders at 9pm. It's 4 minutes after 9, not 10, not 15. FOUR. Absolutely absurd. Oh and by the way, the hours on your Yelp page say you close at 9:30pm, not 9. Maybe you should update that... Also, another great suggestion: Put that you stop accepting pickup orders at 9pm ON YOUR WEBSITE.
Great food, but terrible customer service. I won't be spending another penny here.
Amazing taste!
Food is good but can be inconsistent with the spice level.
Here is my main issue with them from my experience and its directed more towards their staff.
Im a regular "take out" customer and used to tip generously considering Im not dining in. Their customer service IME is terrible once they realize you become frequent. I've been told my food will take 10-15 mins only to wait 30 mins or longer on a number of occasions. I sat outside one day and there was a large party waiting for a table - which I offered mine to them once they brought my food out. During my sit-down, one of their "rude" service people asked what my name was so she can could get my food in a hurry and I could leave ASAP. Being a frequent customer, this was my last straw with them and I will take my business elsewhere.
Not only the best Thai food I've ever had - always made-to-order with the freshest ingredients and huge portions - but the kindest, most wonderful people around running the place and serving you.
The soups are outstanding, as is the garlic and pepper edamame, as starters. For entrees, I highly recommend the curries - the green is my favorite - and the Pad Thai. My son loves the shrimp fried rice, and he makes the chicken satay appetizer a meal by adding rice.
I still want to try more noodle dishes and salads (since all their vegetables are SO fresh), but I just haven't had time yet.
Everything can be ordered to your liking, from spiciness level - 1 through 10 - to asking for ingredients to be omitted or increased.
The young, eager staff will ensure that you leave happy, every time.
Great flavor all around, but not as spicy as I expected when ordering a spice level of 7 or 9/10.
I must say this place is pretty impressive for to-go meals!
I ordered from Grubhub and food was very hot still when it arrived.
I ordered the panang curry beef and the seafood pad Thai. Most of the time I am always disappointed when I order seafood dishes because I feel like the extra money I paid was not worth the 2 extra pieces I get BUT this place did NOT disappoint!!!! My pad Thai was filled with yummy seafood! Huge pieces too!!! The flavor was amazing and it was a pretty large portion! I have never had panang curry where I had green beans in it and I just saw that was an awesome addition! I love the amount of veggie to meat there was in my curry. The broth was YUMMY!! It is heavier on the coconut side (which I love!!) I can probably just eat rice and the broth itself!
Love it and spicy 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely thrilled. We have tried a number of Thai restaurants and this is by FAR the best. Incredible flavors, great quantity of food for price, and our food was ready on time despite quite a crowd of customers! There’s a reason Charm is so popular, and it’s now our go-to for Thai food as well.
This place is amazing, we have never had Thai food so good, my teenager wants to eat it again for Breakfast!!!!
I like thai food, but the casher in this place is very rude. Thai food name is difficult to remember to me but she does not know what I ordered by my name. I gave them my phone number when ordering by phone, but she did not even check it and keep asking me the food names I ordered very offensively. When picking up, you need to remember the food names, otherwise you may get in trouble.
I've eaten here more than a dozen times and the food is always good, and the service is very polite. But in the 10 or so times I've gotten takeout, they've gotten the order wrong most of the time. I just ordered pineapple fried rice with no onions and I was very happy to see that they got it right and excluded the onions. BUT THERE WAS NO PINEAPPLE! IT'S THE FIRST WORD IN THE NAME! Buyer beware! I highly recommend you check your order in detail in front of the staff before leaving the restaurant.
Best soups and food here. Quantity and quality is best, in and around this area
Excellent! My food was fresh and absolutely delicious!
They constantly forget to include what you order. Their response when you call is "come pick up (said item)." And then it happens again. And again. It's as if someone is stealing your orders before you pick it up. Someone there may be hungry. The staff may be overwhelmed, but there is no oversight. Sad to have to write this review as the food is great, but when customer service is equivalent to a sock you find in a dryer, what can you do?
fantastic food fast efficient service
Always delicious!!! The best Thai we’ve had in San Diego by far. We keep coming coming back for more. Excellent curry and noodle dishes. Quick and friendly service!
Great place for good Thai food. Ordered Larb Cai, grilled lemongrass chicken, and Mango curry chicken. Each of the dishes were so flavorful, made for a wonderful dinner. Definitely have to return and try other dishes.
Great Thai
Kai was the man!
Didn't deliver the steam dumplings or the white rice. Other food was just so-so. NEVER ordering from this place again.
really good food. but SUPER spicy! they have a scale of 1-10 for spiciness. we got 7 and 8 and our stomachs hurt from the spice. just be warned and appropriately spice your food to enjoy.
The did not put the rice in the bag. Got home with plenty of curry. Sides were burned, pad thai was dry, chicken burned. Avoid this place. Check your food and look at it.
Very good food. The man at the register is not very friendly. Other than that, great Thai food. Strongly recommended.
I ordered and then sat at a table in front of the restaurant. They brought out to-go boxes of rice and sauce instead of a prepared plate. Other restaurants are serving normal lunches, why can't these guys?
Waited FOREVER for my order to be done. That wasted my lunch hour. I won’t be coming back! If they had zero stars I’d choose that!
My family and I have been frequenting this spot for years. We all agree that it is the best Thai food we have ever had. The curries are fantastic and the avocado tempura is addictive. As a spicy fanatic, this is one of the only places I can trust to fulfill my spicy craving.
Good Thai food with good prices
I’ll join all the other great reviews! Food was fresh and flavorful. Portions are very generous - you will get full! Pickup service was spot on - order was correct, on time and staff is very attentive!! Highly recommend!!
Great food at a decent price!
Our go-to Thai place was Bahn Thai in university heights but we couldn’t go there as often as we liked bc we moved. After trying a lot of the Thai restaurants in the Poway/Carmel mountain/RP/RB area, we have found that Charm Thai is literally the best. You can taste that they make everything from scratch unlike other places where it tastes like it’s a pre-made sauce. Have ordered the curries, rice dishes (our fave is the mango garlic chicken), noodle dishes, and various appetizers (especially love the money bags!) and they have all been amazing! 😋🤤
Also, they’ve been great during this whole covid19 pandemic!
bomb! must have pad thai
Good thai food in RB
They served a guy with no face covering. One of their cooks wore their face covering on their chin; pretty disappointing. The food was below average.
Take out food was excellent and a life savior today. My kids say thank you! we tried the takoyaki which was good! We had garlic wings, egg rolls, fried calamari, pa cha talay, and the pad thai. My 5 year old enjoyed the pad thai commenting it was the best food ever.
