How is this place not popular? We came in 30 minutes before closing and the lady was very welcoming and helpful. The food was spectacular. The Pad Thai was the table favorite (we fought over it) and the Crab Fried Rice was delicious too. The Beef Noodle Soup tasted like Pho? Not a complaint but it was interesting. The Tom Yum was not bad, your standard Thai Tom Yum with coconut milk in it. Same with the Red Curry. Overall, when you look at the prices being only in the $13-15 range per dish this is definitely a worthwhile place to bring the family and friends. Highly recommend!
I don't know why I didn't know about this excellent Thai restaurant earlier. I discovered Baan Noodle & Rice a little over a month ago after they had been open for two years.
Baan Noodle & Rice has the best customer service compared to any Asian restaurant. The gentleman who handles the dining room does an outstanding job. He is friendly, polite, and warm hospitality.
Their noodle soups are delicious. I tried three different noodle soups so far, and they were all very tasty. The appetizers are very yummy, too. Baan Noodle & Rice is on my top dine-in and to-go list now.
Very tasty food. It came out fast. Everything I had was tasty, the pork skewer was good but compared to the other dishes I had it wasn't on par that being said it was still a good overall appetizer. Red curry was nice and flavorful. Would of liked more meat lol and the crab fried rice was good as well again I would have liked more crab meat but good overall and a place I will be back too.
Came here around 6-7 on weekdays so the restaurant was empty. The waitress was nice and acknowledged us right away. Plenty of parking. Food is ok. We order a few dishes and my favorite was probably the chicken from the appetizer menu and the boat noodle. The papaya was more on the salty side, the laab was a bit bland, and the Thai basil fried rice was also kind of bland. Shrimp spring roll was ok. Would I come back, maybe, but not anytime soon. I would come back for the noodles and the chicken wings.
First time eating at this place and I will be back. Everything was delicious! My wife and I had the Thai boat noodles. It was so flavorful. The steak was cooked just right and the soup was perfect. I didn't need to add any condiments. My son enjoyed his Kapoon and my other son (who is a picky eater) loved the chicken wings. Service was great! Chef D came out to greet us and asked how we were liking the food. It was a great experience and we will be returning 😊.
I have mixed feelings. We checked out the reviews for this spot before trying it out and there were great reviews. However our overall review is a 2 of 5. Most likely also not going back as there is another thai spot near by.
It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. We ordered take out for 5 dishes.
1. Pad thai - 3 of 5. It's a bit drier than I would like. The sauce also tastes somewhat like the pre-made sauce you can buy in stores.
2. Boat noodle - 3 of 5. It didn't taste like boat noodle. Doesn't feel.like there's much blood. More like instant boat noodle.
3. Pad See Ew - 3 of 5. I asked for mild bc I usually don't get spice at all. It was too spicy and honestly it tasted more like drunken noodle which I personally don't like because the dark seasoning sauces are too overpowering. Also it was definitely pad see EWW. Over cooked so my noodles were all broken.
4. Beef Larb - 1 of 5. Way too sweet. It tastes like beef bulgogi with rice ad chili powder. Major no.
5. Pork Ribs - 2/3 of 5. Just ok. Overpriced in my opinion. I believe 15.99 for 5 pieces of ribs nd a ton of blanched veggies.
In terms of aesthetics, everything was plated beautifully and nicely.
But in all honesty I was disappointed. Have had these dishes elsewhere and they tastes way different.
Very Good Place To Eat, Very Good Area, Very Clean Bathroom, The Owner Is A Very Sweet Lady #imrichnhumble
boat noodle taste like an upgraded version of Phở! Btw add the Tom Yum soup to the crab fried rice it’s divine!!!!!

I wanted to like it, but I didn't enjoy it. I think I got soup. It was mid.
Three of us came to dine-in for lunch. We waited so long for somebody to come and take our order that we had to go to the register to order. They misunderstood that we ordered three dishes and only gave us two. By the time we realized the error, we didn't have time to re-order the third meal. On top of that, the tip was pre-selected for us when we checked out at the register. The food is great but this experience was awful awful awful.
Great server, The food was delicious 👍, You should try
I would never order from here again...not authentic at all and the portions were ridiculous....I'm not a big guy but was very disappointed in the portion especially for the price. Other Thai restaurants are alot more generous and at a reasonable price. I do not recommend this place.
I shop at BelAire next door & pass by this restaurant often. I decided yesterday to try a dish. I'm so happy that I did, I ordered the chicken Pai Thai. I'm going back today & trying another dish. The music was current, the gentleman helping me was cute, friendly, and made me feel like I was a regular. Please try this resturant. I wish they would open up on the north side of Sacramento. The crab fried rice today.
The food was delicious.the service was nice. The guy was funny and had a good attitude.
Water from the sink. Saw waitress reuse beansprouts from table and put it into another customer’s bowl to serve. Service was slow even woth dining room being empty!
My wife and I have been here twice now and each time the food and service has been impeccable. The front of house/host guy is super friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming
Wonderful Thai restaurant with friendly staff!

This place is Friendly. The food is fresh and tasty. They even have a $5.00 special on Saturdays and Sundays.
Food was delicious and service fabulous!
Lovely service and happy there’s another nearby Thai restaurant in the greenhaven area.
I love the green curry!
Super nice and friendly service, my only complaint is that I was too full from their large portions to finish my meal

Food was really good and portions were big.
We love our neighborhood Baan Noodles! They have such great service and good food. You can’t go wrong - our favorites are the boat noodle soup and of course the pad Thai. Everything is always so fresh and they give you a ton of food with excellent service.
Everything I've had here is fantastic! The service is incredibly friendly. He'll chat you up about the restaurant and you can see his passion. Highly recommend the drunken noodles the crispy pork belly!
The food is very yummy. Generous proportions and affordable prices. The staff is very friendly.
My Wife and I love the food and people who work here. Having tried most local Thai restaurants, we always end up coming back.
Tried this place for the first time and I got to say it's definitely my new favorite Thai place! Got the pad see ew, pork ribs, and Tom yum soup. All the food was cooked fresh and was delicious!!! Would highly recommend. Staff was super friendly as well!
The portions are enough to feed 2-3 people. Everything was amazing. We had the pad woonsen, drunken noodle and the karee puff. The puffs were my favorite. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not overly salty. I’d drive out of my way to eat here again. Plenty of vegetarian options.
good wonton
The customer service is excellent!!! The young man came over & introduced himself to me & he was very kind. I only ordered soup to go. I was surprised at how much I got. The vegetables were fresh & they wrapped it up so carefully. Not one drop spilled. I will for sure be back.
Huge portion of really good pineapple fried rice
Food was great. Had chicken and eggplant with white rice. Fresh and flavorful. Will go again.
Risa, Jim, and staff are friendly and give great service. The food is very good. I had the boat noodle soup and the broth was delicious. Food came out hot and fast.
We love the food here. Crab fried rice is my favourite. The staff is very friendly and customised food for us. Finally, it’s very cheap for its taste. I definitely recommend to try here.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Great atmosphere, staff are phenomenal. Jin is an absolute stud. Food is to die for! 100% recommend.
After eating Thai food in Thailand many times and in many places, I can say that in our opinion, this was one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to back in the States. The food was absolutely excellent, served quickly and hot and the service was great. Definitely highly recommend!

This was the worst experience at a restaurant. The waiter and waitress were clueless, they had us sit for 7 minutes and no acknowledgement, waited 20 minutes and after that we asked for waters. Had to pay at counter and order food - others treated differently. Waited 45 minutes for food for 2 to come out. Lots of kids screaming, people upset also waiting, many had food orders missing, was getting up to leave and asked for refund- made us wait another 5 minutes and brought out food. No way any recommendations but to avoid this fiasco of a restaurant.
Love everything on this Thai cuisine and will be back for sure, highly reccoment to everyone who love boat noodles and pineapple fried rice and all dessert.
My party and I went in for dinner at about 5:30 pm, there were only 3 other tables being waited on. We waited for 10 minutes, no one came to take our order. When a larger party came in they were attended to right away. We were ready to order but weren't attended to until after the party that came in after us. We ordered a drink, the satay, boat noodles and pad thai. After 20 minutes we received our drink while the other parties were being served their entrees and appetizers. After 30 minutes we had not received any of our food, though the hostess did afford to check in on us. After 45 minutes two more parties thay came in after us and were attended to and served their food briefly after they ordered. Suffice to say we paid for our drinks and walked out. I was severely disappointed as the waitress seemed nice but those niceties were merely empty gestures. I may visit again to see if this was a one time instance but not any time soon.
The thai tea was tasty and refreshing.
Great food and prices, but need more seating. The owner said she is adding additional tables outside too.
Delicious food and amazing value
I love this place. The Salmon fried rice..... yummy. The green tea( my new favorite) is the best. We had so much leftovers made for a delicious lunch. We will be back soon.
This was our first time dining here. My family had a wonderful time! The foods were delicious and my waitress was very kind and friendly. My kids adored the owner and waitress. Great music in the background along with the kind service and delicious foods! This will be our new spot to dine!
This place is ridiculously excellent! Food is amazing. Service is super friendly and on point. The atmosphere is really inviting and modern. They have the cutest bathroom setup and decorations.
Can't wait to come back! Highly highly recommend.
This place was good and the prices were reasonable, I’m a fan of Thai food and this place was amazing.
I finally decided to try this gem of a restaurant after having been open for about a year. When I first visited this eatery right after they opened, they were short on staff and I was told that there would be a 30 minute wait for take out. My recent experience was dine in and I couldn't have been more impressed. The service was kind, attentive and efficient. I ordered the BBQ Pork Spare Ribs and a Thai Iced Coffee. The ribs were plated on a bed of steamed veggies and came with a bowl of rice, which I hadn't been expecting. I was able to eat all the ribs but requested a to-go box for the remaining rice and veggies. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with delicious food and I look forward to my next visit.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! Best won ton soup I have had in Sacramento. Pictures of food from menu are accurate so you can see before you order. Staff are kind, dedicated and courteous so please treat them well.
First Timer for a Sunday evening dinner. Located next to Belaire Grocery Store on Florin near South Land Park.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Greeted warmly.
Shared Special Soup and Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp. Delicious. Rice could have been Spicer and warmer. Soup broth was tasty filled with tofu, shrimp, chicken balls, noodles and veggies.
First time eating at this place and I will be back. Everything was delicious! My wife and I had the Thai boat noodles. It was so flavorful. The steak was cooked just right and the soup was perfect. BEWARE!! I ordered some food to go and was automatically charged a tip. I usually tip especially if I'm dining in, but to do it without my consent or informing me of a possible extra charge is not ok. She was doing whatever she did on her side and told me to sign a screen that only shows "sign here." Once I got done it said "thank you for the $$ tip." I looked at the total paid and sure enough, it was way more than what she originally told me. She left to go pack my food plus I was tired and in a rush so I let it go. I was in town and on my way back home so I stopped by to try this place out since I've heard good things. Will I come back tho? Probably not.
The Kao Soi was sooo good! Huge portions and super flavorful and the hostess was very welcoming.
The food was very good, but I've never actually gotten the bum's rush from a restaurant until today. We walked in 25 minutes before closing and were warmly greeted and invited to sit anywhere. As this was our first time, the waitress offered us the detailed menu with photographs. We ordered appetizers and soup without issue. But come three minutes after closing time, with soup bowls still almost half full, the waitress came to our table (we were the last customers) and said, "We closed at 9:00 and it's after that now." This after loudly bussing the adjacent table and bringing out the broom to sweep. OK, we get it; we're no longer welcome. We had to ask for takeaway containers for the rest of our food.
If you didn't want any customers in the place after 9:00, then you should have told us you were doing takeout only when we walked in.
Best Thai restaurant in Sacramento 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 service and food was very good. 😋
Are you kidding me?! This place is pure gold. So far beef noodle soup and the chicken dish are next level.
Do yourself a favor and try this place out. Their soups have been a welcome addition to my hangover remedy line-up.
Friendly customer service and the salmon rice bowl I ordered was delicious.
Very good food! The Boat Noodle Soup was perfect for the rainy afternoons we've had lately. Crab Fried Rice and Pad See Ew had very good flavor too. Good portions. The staff was very friendly. Also the food was served quickly, perfect for families with little kids! (who get hungry and impatient easily). The atmosphere was very nice and calmed, cozy, nicely warm for a family dinner!
Love this place! Super convenient because it's close to our home. Their Pad Thai is so delicious. Been coming here when they just opened. The employees are very nice too and really appreciate the little waiting area!
Boat noodles were really good and decently priced! Friendly service too. Looking forward to trying other items :)
Fantastic place, fast delivery and food is very good. We visited while we are driving to Lassen and while coming back visited again.
Very nice lady...she gave me a free Thai iced tea for waiting on my order.
This restaurant has checked all of my boxes for dining!
Ambiance ✅
Food & drinks ✅ and
Customer service ✅ !
The beautiful sun and cool breeze on this day makes sitting outside very appealing but the A/C inside of the restaurant is too appealing!
The salmon fried rice is ridiculously good!
Just ate there. It’s very flavorful. Simple Thai food and not too complicated. My favorite is the boat noodle.
I had the Drunken Noodles which were very tasty. Good prices and a huge serving size!
Fantastic new local spot. The staff was incredibly helpful and agreed to make us Pad Thai completely vegetarian (no oyster sauce etc). The chef even told us it might take her an extra few minutes since she'd be making us a sauce from scratch, which was wonderful expectation management. Portions were huge for our entrees and appetizers. Incredibly delicious!!! We'll definitely be back!
