Thai Ladle got back to me and outlined that there was a technical problem and their restaurant was closed yet still accepting orders. They were very apologetic, issued a refund, and provided a discount due to the issue. I very much appreciate that this was all cleared up.

Generally, my experience with Thai Ladle has been great. I always order delivery. Today, my order was cancelled after 45 minutes with no explanation (after being confirmed). The restaurant is open but no one would pick up the phone after trying three times.
If you're going to order from Thai Ladle, I'd highly recommend choosing from other options if you want your food as expected.
I came in tonight at about 8:25 PM (their sign says they close at 9) to order some Boba tea and check my emails for 15 minutes. I asked if they are open for another 30 minutes, the server ignored my question, took my order and came back with the tea. I asked if I could sit, and she then said they were actually closed and asked me to leave (not politely). The server was rude and made me feel like she didn’t want me there. I unfortunately had to leave, the boba tea was bad, and I had to sit outside. The worst part is I gave a tip, because I didn’t know how I was about to be treated. Neither me or my family will ever return.
Ordered dinner from Thai ladle, their packaging was really good as the food was still steaming hot when it got delivered. The portion size was pretty good and the sauces I had ordered on the side didn’t disappoint. As far as the noodles, I was disappointed as I wasn’t expecting the flat one and it ruined the taste and texture for me! Fried rice was okay but it was a bit bland. I am not sure if I would go back to order as it was mediocre!
The Tom ka Ga soup was tasty with tender mushrooms and sweet onions. Simply delightful. The chicken satay did not disappoint and the peanut sauce was the right consistency. The padseeyu noodles were tender yet not overcooked. The veggies crispy and tender. Everything was just delicious!!!
As the food was placed before me. I was so disappointed. I ordered the paf thai. It came to me in a red sauce, slightly sweet. Oh this is NOT authentic pad thai. Please change your recipe. Its not that difficult to make. I will not go back , and i will truthfully tell others.." i didnt like it, there pad thai is not original. It shouldn't be red /orange sauce. The sauce should be clear and the beautiful vegetables coming through...also i didnt see any peanuts. I realize many people are ultra sensitive to peanuts, i appreciate them accommadating that. But what do we do - who can tolerate peanuts.
I have ordered a few times from here and the food has been good but my recent order of pineapple fired rice was something that required this review as it was uneadible. As soon as I opened the box a strong smell hit my face and the curry powder taste was so overwhelming it overpowered everything. When I called to speak with the restaurant they just asked me what do I want then to do with no care for their customer. Please think before ordering the pineapple fried rice or should I call it the curry powder rice for a better fit.
Very pleasant casual dining but, don't let that make you think simple or fast food. The service was excellent and quick. The food was delicious. Some of the best Thai we have ever tried. Modest prices. Parking seemed fine however, the strip mall wasn't busy at about 7pm on a Wednesday. Located behind Greens Please across from Fillippi's Grotto so easy to find. We definitely recommend and will be back
They offer several delivery option...see last picture.
It is nice to have such an amazing neighbor. We at Nova Luna Gymnastics always come over to have some good foods there.

Really good food! Quiet and relaxing.
Totally disappointed in this establishment. I wanted to give them another shot but unfortunately it will be my last time visiting. I ordered a pad see ew TO GO, that's the key word, TO GO. When I got to my destination there were not any utensils leaving me unable to eat my food at all. Thats a killer mistake because there are literally two things they need to ensure, 1. Utensils 2. Napkins. Neither were inside my bag. The pad see ew was below average with no real taste in the noodles. Beyond basic. I don't mean to put a business down but Bua Thai around the corner is much better. I suppose the one star can be given for the Tom Kha soup because that was good but otherwise I honestly wouldn't recommend this place.
Always good food. The staff are always great. Very sweet and kind. I definitely recommend the chicken pad Thai and pineapple curry!!
Pretty good massaman curry
This place doesn't offer or allow any substitutions on your order. I am currently on a restricted diet and wanted to sub out the broccoli and carrots for onions and mushrooms. They would not do it or they would but wanted to up charge me. So i had to order the $15 meal with no vegetables, which made the meal pretty bland and boring. I also didn't receive a credit for the vegetables not used in the dish. I am unimpressed by this establishment.
I just did not like the pad see ew unfortunately. it was not flavorful, somehow too sweet, i prefer other places for pad see ew
I ate here last night with my girlfriend and the service was terrible the waitress was rude but the only reason im taking the time to make this review is bcus the glass noodles soup I tried tasted terrible like a very bad after taste I told the waitress and she didn't care never coming back if I could I would give 0 stars
Protein portions are less than three bites. My chicken was chewy.
Seriously some of the most delicious Thai food I've ever had. I ordered the yellow curry, red curry, and the pad see-ew. All medium spice. The food is fresh and the flavor is on point. Just the right amount of richness and spice, and everything seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend!
I walked in for dine in @2pm they said take out only, should post on website or google you don’t welcome dine in @2pm onwards
Horrible. I have eaten here for years - I have a food allergy and carry an epipen ( not peanuts) I placed my order, the staff confirmed it with the cook. I was told I was not allowed to eat inside - as it was a table service establishment ( totally fine I was taking take out). I picked up my meal- the the cook had desired to add seasoning / spices that I had clearly requested to be not included. I asked for my meal to be refunded - 20min later I am not sure the young women managed to do that. But for me the issue was the cook coming out and telling me I could not have the can of coke I ordered as it was red and clearly I was allergic. Unbelievably horrible service from the staff completely and totally humiliating and a 100% lack of understanding. If you have any special food requirements avoid at all costs. Very disappointing to a place I used to eat at once a week.
amazing food amazing service!
One of the better thai restaurants we've had around the area. We enjoy the noodles and the curry dishes (we get vegetarian). Pad see ew is a favorite. Kids like the plain white rice and occasionally the tofu or veggies.
I ordered the chicken yakisoba medium spicy and the gyoza on doordash from here. The food is way too sweet, the chicken was rubbery, and the noodles tasted like sugar and nothing else. The gyoza was good, but it came with like a sweet and sour sauce instead of a regular dumpling sauce. The sauce was relatively good, just super sweet and not what I expected. I don't think I'll be eating here again, but maybe their soups and/or rice are good?

Since we love Thai food, we have tried most of Thai restaurants around us in Rancho Bernardo. First time for us getting take out from here. I think it’s the best one yet! We had soups, Thai Basil, and curry. Definitely be back!
Great food but they don't make their food spicy enough.
I had garlic and pepper with chicken and it was fantastic. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Lunch is very good, but a bit small.
Can improve customer service!
The worst Thai place ever. Not tasty at all.
This place is really good. Their Chicken Pad Thai is a must and the wait is usually pretty quick. They do not do indoor dining anymore due to staffing, but a great place for a quick grab and go meal.
Terrible food and terrible service. Zero stars.
Incredible, amazing Thai food at a reasonable price
Food is always amazing
Decent Thai Food, but terrible customer service. If you get food here, make sure to minimize contact with front-of-the-house.
The customer service is horrible . So unprofessional and rude . The cashier seems to be very snappy and mouthy. I’m baffled. Never stepping foot in this restaurant again. I felt insulted and attacked . I complained about the cashier to the owner of the restaurant but she sided with the cashier. How do you run a business with workers who bad mouth the customer.
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had! The vegetable panang curry is delicious, spicy and slightly sweet, and the green curry has a burst of fresh Thai basil flavor that's really amazing! This is our new go-to!
Absolutely delicious, authentic Thai food!
We were craving some Pad Thai and this wonderful little restaurant hit the spot. Couldn't be happier we stopped by. The lunch special was reasonably priced and everything had great flavor. Don't skip on the Gouzya!! Crunchy n delicious!!
Consistently good. The best Thai restaurant in Poway.
Not the place you can go if you have kids that don't want to eat Thai. My nephew (8 years old) came in here with his own food along with the entire family. We were told that if my 8 yr old nephew eats his own food, the rest of the family (4 more people) can't dine here. An 8 year old may not have the taste buds for Thai food, so now the adults can't eat? This is ridiculous. That's not how the restaurant industry should work and I have worked in the service industry and that's not how you treat people.
Customer service can make or break a business and this business needs to learn how to treat their customers.
Great lunch specials. Fast friendly service. Good prices!
Our favorite Thai restaurant for both take out and dine in. Very good staff. Yummy food. Reasonable prices.
Very good, I get pad Thai or yellow curry.
Very good!! The fresh spring rolls are delicious and service is always very nice
My friends looked up this place and wanted to try it out. I ordered the fried pineapple rice and it was good. Nice portions and not too spicy. Will definitely come back with my friends again.
Tom Kha soup was wonderful. Great service and reasonable prices.
Good Chicken Fried rice!
Order online. Faster service.

Food was not as good compared to other thai restaurants. Hawaiian fried rice was kind of bland. Curry had undercooked potatoes. Overall ok..not great.
I liked it, their food was decent. Had the pineapple curry, pad thai, cheesy wontons and papaya salad; however i was not of fan if their papaya salad it wasn't pungent enough like I'm used to. I'll still come back though.
Great Thai food!!! Great service!!! You got to check them out!
Love the spicy Udon
Excellent food very tasty. Wonderful customer service. Will be back again. Very nice.
Online ordering on the website was so fast and easy, the food was delicious and above our expectation.
Only complain, please add mild option for the curries.
We decided to try a new Thai restaurant and found this one on Grubhub . It was excellent! . We had soup with Pad Thai and we loved it.
This place always has friendly staff and always so pleasant over the phone and always take their time to listen to your order ! I work across from this place and they always make my food in time for lunch ! Yummy! Thank you !
Excellent food and REALLY NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Gem in a strip mall!
This is our favorite Thai restaurant in San Diego! The food tastes great, the prices are affordable, and the staff are friendly!
Delicious! Pad Thai was flavored perfectly.
Quality food!
Best green curry I have ever had!
Everything I had was really good.
My regular Thai place!
Very tasty.
Amazing food at a good price point.
My first time coming here was for lunch with my grandma. I loved it! It's vegan friendly, and the decore is very clean and modern. The people are so nice too!
Impressive.
Perfect every time and servers are so attentive! If there is a wait, it's always worth it!!!
Awesome food and great service
Good, solid Thai restaurant, strip mall ambience, friendly service, very reasonably priced.
Excellent meal. Great flavour, quality ingredients, generous portion, pleasing presentation.
This food was amazing, and it was very fairly priced. I certainly hope to go again
Delicious and casual Thai food
Great food
Food and service is top notch!!! You get treated really well from the moment you walk inside, I love it. My favorite dish is their Pad Thai, it’s delicious!!!
Great food. Owner came to get feedback on food and service. Pad Thai was best I've had. Love the mural on the wall.
Not my favorite.

Great for take out. Yellow curry is my favorite but everything on the menu is good and reasonably priced.
The best thai food I have had in quite some time. I highly recommend this establishment.
Below average Thai place.. Not worth it.
I had Pad Thai noodles. It was as if I had noodles in syrup.
Place was amazing! Massaman curry was outstanding!
The soup was not what expected. Nothing tasted like Thai food. I am a chef de cuisine, very disappointed with a simple Tom kha soup. If you cannot get that right, I wonder how long the business lasts.
These are the same owners as the Ramona location. They had their soft open this month.
Food: good quality, everything seems fresh (vegetables were great) and it's made relatively fast. We got the pad thai and spicy noodles (drunken noodles). Menu is short and sweet, all the regular Thai stuff. They ask what level of spiciness you want. Try the coconut milk with tapioca - sweet with a fruity hint; almost reminds me of horchata.
Service: great. They don't really need to come around to see if you need anything, but they do.
Atmosphere: small cozy place. A big rectangle with a handful of tables and some minimal decor and wall paintings. Water dispenser is out so if you get water to drink, you can grab cups and refill as needed.
