The food was delicious! I came all the way from Oroville to try this place! I was impressed by the appetizers and the great prices! I did have to take a star away from service due to both desserts being unavailable, and the fact that there was no raisins in my fried pineapple rice.

Family owned restaurant, been coming here for years. Good service and clean tables, good variety of dishes and pleasing to the eye as well. Our family favorite is the Thai Egg Rolls, Red curry and of course the wide noodles. We usually stop by at least once a month for delicious Thai food.

Amazingly good food. And when there is a PSPS power outage, they can still feed us. Wonderful friendly staff. So thankful they have stayed on the ridge!

Food is good. Atmosphere is just ok. Not really warm and cozy. Service is just ok. Very little attention paid to guests. After the food comes, they NEVER check on you. You always need to flag them down.

Lots to choose from for a vegetarian. Everything was so good! The service was lovely. This is a fun and delicious way for my love and I to support the wonderful community of Paradise. We will be back.

You have to try this place. Their food is outstanding! And the prices are reasonable.

Waiter recommended the #35 to me since I wanted seafood. It wasn't good at all the sauce wasn't even thick like a curry should be, I was more like a soup than a curry. The mixed seafood was overcooked and probably older than it should have been served. The sauce wasn't even that bold of a flavor, it needed way more to the flavor profile. The pork Pad Thai was good though, noodles very savory and silky in texture. The atmosphere was quaint and the service was quick and friendly. Maybe I just wasn't recommended something that was a good choice, so I would try it again!

Great food for a very reasonable price !

I went there bc of the high star reviews on here, but the service, the food and the ambiance were all absolutely terrible! Worst restaurant dining experience I've ever had. I didn't want others to be fooled by the high reviews. Our party of 4 felt like we were a burden to the restaurant owner, and we were the only ones in the restaurant! Spare yourselves and pick a different place to eat.

Despite our hopes, our three visits to Paradise's only Thai restaurant have been disappointing. The unclean, rundown condition of the restaurant is concerning. Our last visit on July 15, 2023, saw untrained 14-year-old girls serving, causing poor service and hygiene issues. Additionally, a cat freely roaming the restaurant posed a health risk that the staff seemed to ignore. Despite some positive reviews, we advise looking for meals in Chico until improvements are made in this establishment.

The chicken satay with the peanut sauce left such an impression on me that I miss it when I'm out of town!

(Sophie's) or authentic Thai. Is one of the best Thai food restaurants I've ever had. Sophie's has set the bar so high it is the comparison I use against other Thai food places. The pineapple fried rice is my go to, and be sure to ask for a surprise with your meal!

Absolutely the BEST restaurant in Paradise. Lok always hooks up the delicious, flavorful dishes. Even when he’s busy, we get our food fast. I don’t know how they do it! The curries are tasty. The veggies always look fresh. There’s a dish with peanut sauce that is divine with chicken!! If you are looking for good food, supporting a local family, as well as great prices: you have found the place. You won’t be disappointed!

Large portions, really good food, clean, nice owner. They used to be sophias up the hill a bit, but this location is better imo. My favorite is the red curry beef so far, havent had any dissapointments here except they didnt have sticky rice with the larb. Larb itself was really good!

Very good food and friendly service. I wish the portions were a little bigger though. If you're hungry order more than you think you need and get extra meat where you can. Not cheap once you order enough but worth it! The salmon asparagus is delicious. I also love the lemongrass bbq beef dish with extra meat.

Service was eh, the place wasn't super clean... But they had a terrific and actually spicy Pad Kee Mao. I'd go back and ignore the floors to have it again.

Update: reduced to 2 stars. Just can't count on consistency or quality. I think that was the last time I'll eat here.

LOVE this place. Authentic Thai cuisine in Paradise. It used to located farther up the Skyway but moved after the Camp Fire. We are so lucky to have Lok and his family stay after the fire. They are by far the best place to dine in Paradise. We have tried many items on the menu and they are all delicious. They will adjust the heat for you if you are daring enough to enjoy Thai hot. Large indoor dining. Easy parking.

We love Sophie's Thai Cuisine. We usually get papaya salad, but tried their mango salad and it was great. So was the curry and chicken wings. We're tried lots of different things on the menu, and all were very good. 🌶️

I love this place so much, I've been alive 21 years and for as many as I can remember we've been coming here for amazing food. They have the best Thai food around and Lok and his wife are some of the sweetest people ever.

Their red curry with eggplant and tofu is delicious! So is their yellow curry with chicken and if you want a little more, eat with pineapple fried rice (instead of regular white rice) and it's a great combo.

Spicy squid soup, veggie or meat salad, and more. Very beautiful decorated with intricate ornaments and paintings. The table cloths are elegant. Quiet atmosphere entices young couples, families, friends, and as I saw tonight a group of people who never met before who live all across the continent. Always good food and great people. So glad they opened up again.

Not very good at all. The Pad Thai flavor was bland, the noodles were soft and watery, the tofu was the weirdest tasting tofu I’ve ever had. My co worker got yellow curry and did not like it either; said it had a bad aftertaste (I thought it was fine though). Neither of us finished our dishes.

All the food was super yummy, and our server was delightful! Try the thai iced tea. Mmmmm
