Great Eatery!!! After we had the bad experience at Aikan Sushi - we ended up at Thai Bamboo last night. It had been a long day and we need pleasant and friendly service. They delivered 🙌!! We had a couple beers, watched the bball game while we waited for our take out. A very awesome experience. Food was soooooooooooo good. Sorry for no pix of food ... was super tired and forgot to take them once we were home.

What a hidden gem. I may be mistaken but I believe the owner was onsite and took care of us. 7 of us from the office all wanted Thai and we only had an hour to spare. We were accommodated immediately as the tables were mainly set up for 4 or less. We all got our food within 6 to 8 minutes and our dishes DID NOT disappoint. I'll be back for more green curry chicken (highly recommended 🙌).

I have been coming to this spot for over ten years. A lot has changed. The restroom used to be outside. It is now inside of the restaurant. There is a patio that's covered on the outside. You can eat out there or inside the restaurant. The food here is good. We ordered the pad Thai which is decent. We also ordered pad ka prow which is basically chicken with basil. I love this dish because they are generous with the basil which makes the dish tasty and aromatic. We also ordered the house butter special with shrimp. This is why I come here. It's deep fried with a crispy buttery batter. You can choose either chicken, beef, fish or shrimp. The prices are a bit higher than other Thai food places I've been to. Overall good service and good food.

This is the best Thai restaurant of those I've tried so far. The taste was good and moderate and not over spiced (as some Thai restaurants I tried before added too much spice to make it either too spicy or too sour for me). Have been there twice in the past month, and it'll still be my go-to if I'd like some Thai cuisine. Also taste good for the next meal (as I didn't finish some so I fridge the leftover and microwave before eating and the tast was still perfect and still smell very good. Definitely recommend this place. The Pad See Ew was my favorite☺️ it was really good.

We have been back a few times since last year, but noticed the flavor changed A LOT from our first visit... not sure if the chef is changed... also the price increased and the quantity is visibly decreased...
The pad see ew was not soft enough for me anymore... for now I feel it's average...

The food wasn’t my fav Thai food ever but it was definitely good enough! Wasn’t a fan of the steamed dumplings, but the pad Thai was pretty delicious!

I went to lunch at about 1:30 and it was pretty quiet. It sits in a large shopping center close to the Northridge mall. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai which came with a decent portion. It came with salad a wonton and soup for just $14.00. Lunch menu. I'm sick of those strip mall places where bland food cranky employees and B ratings are common. When I want Thai I'm going straight here. It's nicely decorated so bring the family or special occasion

House Butter special Shrimp was amazing! Nice crunch. Sweet and sour chicken was a little soupy, not my favorite but complimented well with a side of white rice. Pad See Ew with pork was also great. Could use more noodles but was tasty ! I will definitely return to this establishment (:

Wow. I highly suggest the seafood soup. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this soup had me put my soup down to tell y’all. Wow. Way better than ocha classic. I will definitely be returning here.

We have become more attached to Thai Bamboo at our recent late lunch. A1 tasting foods. Very courtious service. Next time we're in town we will eat there again . I would recommend it.

I place the big order. The price was good, the amount of food not that much. I ordered for 25 people, came only 19, but we were short on food. We had a lot of rice and not enough of actual dishes. They mistaken one dish for another unless it is their version which is totally different from anybody else's. I don't know if this restaurant serves fortune cookies, but if they are, we didn't get them. Delivery was fast and on time. Food was hot and some dishes were tasty.

The customer service was horrible here. We did not get checked up on nor anyone around us to ask for help. They had no fresh coke, we had to go buy some at the gas station next door.

My family enjoyed a great meal here and will come back. The food and warm service are the stars here. The interior is nothing fancy, and the EV charging station outside was a bit distracting (but it is also a draw for customers). Parking is a challenge, but with a little patience, it is not a problem.

We randomly picked here to eat. It was fantastic. We all loved out choices. The glass noodles, pad Thai and the chicken dish were amazingly delicious

Thai Bamboo in Northridge is one of the best Thai restaurants! I've lived in several different cities in So. Cal. The food at Thai Bamboo has so much flavor and it's absolutely addictive. Love the Larb (chicken),
Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice (not even a pineapple fan!) and have yet to order a soup that wasn't excellent (okay Tom Yum with chicken is the fave). They use fresh cilantro and lime and their seasoning is always on point and consistent.

0 star. The waiter of the day Sunday 1/22/23 at night, Yes, quite arrogant service and never asks again if everything is ok, and they serve you their horrible food and within minutes they pass you the bill so you can leave. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Saw a cockroach on the wall, soup was salty, seafood curry too sweet.

Pad see ew was good (on the sweeter side) and the staff was nice. A takeout for a 2-dish dinner order took about 20 min.

But the tom yum soup was way too salty. I find the soup at Jasmine Thai Cousine in Porter Ranch to be much more flavorful (19707 Rinaldi St, Porter Ranch, CA 91326).

Delicious! The shrimp Tom Kha was better than their chicken, but the peanut sauce on their satay was outstanding, and the crab rangoon the best I've had in Los Angeles.

I have been eating here at least once a week during my lunch break and all options a delicious 🤤. The House special is so good with chicken but with shrimp 🦐! It’s another level. Prices a decent and staff are friendly. They accommodate to individual bills if you’re in a group! The lunch specials are All delicious. Had them all.

Food was a little greasy but overall pretty tasty. Decent portions as well. We ordered the ribs with white rice, drunken noodles and appetizer plate.

This is one of my favorite Thai places in the Valley. My girlfriend and I have been coming here for almost 3 years. We usually get the Seafood Curry and the Salt & Pepper Chicken. Their ribs, Tom Yum soup, and BBQ Chicken are all pretty good too. I WILL have to say that I always ask for less "bell peppers", as they tend to go a little too heavy on that.

Lots of great stuff. If you get the chance to have the duck curry, do it! Pineapple curry is also my second favorite. I like mine mild, but you can get everything hotter if you wish.

The service was not at all what I expected. I got chased into the parking lot by an employee because I did not leave a big enough tip 😳 he got mad and had a pretty aggressive tone. The food was raw and unseasoned. One of the raw dishes I recieved amongst the many dishes that I ordered was the chicken pad thai. It was hard and chewy. The sea food soup that I ordered had a fake taste, it was plasticky and unseasoned. It's so bad I want to give it a zero, but that's not possible so I give it a one.

As consumers we must make a conscious effort when spending our money. During these hard times our dollars are valuable, and only should be given to those that reciprocate respect. There is a rude male that works here. This Male has not only been rude to me but also used a statement of "people like you" when making his rude statement. I even told the owner about his attitude towards me. Not to mention that Ive spent tons of money here prior to this incident. If you stand by and watch while someone makes rude comments, calls people names,etc you are just as GUILTY. We as individuals must teach people how to treat us in our communities.

When a business thinks they can disrespect, or belittle ANYONE (WHITE, BLACK, PURPLE, OR ORANGE). Even if that someone doesn't look like yourself and still receive the benefits of the communities hard earned money they are sadly mistaken. It is up to this owner to fix the problem especially if he knows that it happen. If you allow someone to treat you poorly and you continue to support them, how likely are they to stop?

So today on my birthday I've decided to buy food from my favorite Thai restaurant Thai bamboo...I order from here at least 1 or 2 times a month for the last 6 years ...my minimum bill for a family of 5 totals 100 dollars everytime. Today I called to order $ 150 dollars worth of food for my family ...as I went to pay for the food he asked if I wanted to pay 15% tip to the driver. I said no, I will tip cash . Now the last 3 times I ordered from them I picked the food up because of longer than usual wait times. He told me "well last time you didn't tip my driver". I asked him. "Are we really having this conversation? " are you really trying to muscle me to tip over the phone? ... he says well you didnt tip the driver. ( I always tip cash so the driver dosent need to claim it on taxes ). So I politely told him to cancel my $150 dollar order ....totally ruined my birthday dinner with family. I canceled off principle ....why would I ever shop with a business that has the audacity to try to muscle call in orders to tip over the phone. If that was the case they should build the tip into the bill, mandatory delivery charges and or gratuity. I've never had anything like this ever happen to me, especially from a business that I have frequented for the last 6 years. I will never eat there ever again. Any Owner or manager that would be so petty to confront a customer about if they tipped a driver could possibly retaliate in the food...I can't take that risk at all. And the worst part...they charged my card still

Good pad Thai

The food was delicious, I got the BBQ pork ribs, Leo got the Pad Thai. I'm sure we could have eaten it all, but saved enough for lunch this week.

I eat here for years . I see some negative reviews and I would take em with a grain of salt. Food never let me down so far and customer service never had rude service . Sometimes slow but nothing cry about . And no I dont have any affilation with them .

Absolutely the BEST pad see ew in Los Angeles. It's actually pan fried, *very* slightly blackened on the edges, the noodles are never dry, plenty of fried egg pieces. Everything you could possibly want in a pad see ew.

This negative review isn’t even for the food. The food is always great. It’s for the customer service I received when I called to get an update. I hadn’t even asked my question and the gentleman was already screaming your food is in the way your food is on the way. I wasn’t disrespectful or rude one bit when I called. I just was honestly looking for an update on my late food. Never again ... I’ll miss the food.

We ordered 2 yum yai salads. I have ordered at this establishment before number of times and had issues with the wait times but wanted to give this restaurant another try. I have also ordered this salad previously. When I ordered it before and ate outside, this was a fantastic salad with a lot of lettuce, vegetables, hard-boiled egg, and chicken. What we received today when we picked it up literally was nothing but a pile of noodles and a few pieces of lettuce. That is not a salad. This absolutely was not worth $10 plus tax... My salad didn’t even have any shrimp like my husband’s did. I dug around and didn’t see it. I am very sorry but charging this much money for what is essentially a pile of noodles and flavoring is wrong. I don’t know what happened this evening and why this dish was sent to us this way but I don’t think we will be coming back again. I took pictures as proof.

Love getting the coconut milk soup with chicken. It is so yummy and the staff is super nice along with there food is always great. I go here all the time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and my children also live there food.

My grandmother got takeout at Thai bamboo recently, and suffered food poisoning. We know this because she was the only one of us who ate anything. She ate the food there, and ended up staying in the emergency room for more than one day. I don't recommend eating Thai bamboo, and I won't ever come back.

I ordered spicy soup around 9:30 pm Friday 5/22. When I brought it home it did not look like what I ordered. Called to if I got wrong order and of course I was wrong. It had large chucks of mushrooms and 5 small shrimps. It was bad. Wast of my time and money.

We got absolutely scrumptious Pad See ew, House Special Butter Sauce, and Thai Barbeque Pork Moo Yang, the stand outs among other delicious dishes. The food was still hot when we got it and the smell was our first clue that we were in for a delicious meal. The green curry had a strong, complex flaver, the Pad Thai was flavorful with delicate noodles, and the chicken Satay was beautifully spicy. I also got a whole coconut as a dessert/drink - It was cut open so that none of the meat was lost AND all the juice was inside! Portions are large and reasonably priced. A wonderful local Thai restaurant!

Cute little place. Service was friendly. Food was delicious. The portions we're generous. I was bummed we couldn't order the sticky mango rice. But other than that. I'd definitely come back here again. And try some other dishes.

I ordered from GrubHub. the food was mediocre. I had children Pad Thai noodles and chicken satay. the biggest problem was the smell of the cigarettes that was all over my bag and food containers. I called GrubHub to ask if it was normal for their drivers to smoke while delivering your food. I was told the restaurant delivered the food not one of their drivers. When the representative called the restaurant to tell them they didn't care and didn't offer anything to compensate for the disgusting cigarette smell. I'm allergic to cigarettes. This was a very disgusting experience. it cost me over $25 to throw my food in the trash plus the time I took to get that smell out of my house. I do not recommend this place.

This is a nice little Thai restaurant y order garlic shrimp with some steam rice and some yasmin tea, and it was delicious the staff was friendly and polite helping to describe some of the different items in the menu and helping to make you decide, it worked well and I enjoyed the atmosphere, I was very pleased with this place.

I go here often for the lunch, it fast service, the crew are friendly and helpful for newbies and the food taste good. They have unisex bathrooms way in the back and loads of free parking around it. On nice days you can sit outside in their garden patio.

This is a family owned restaurant located in Nordhoff and Tampa inside Walnut plaza. They cooked really good. The employees are friendly and their foods are fresh and tasty, it's good to come back here again.
