Informal Thai cafe offering familiar eats & a wide range of soups & seafood in a comfortable space.
First time here and LOVED IT always tough picking new plans my mom is SUCH a tough critic but both of us left so happy. Great deal with their $14.99 lunch special. My mom ordered the pad see ew and I ordered the teriyaki chicken. So fresh and tasted homemade! Great service and a parking lot ! I'm always stressing about bad parking but it was easy here. Such a sweet waitress. Can't wait to go back !
The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, parking is easy. The dining area is small but it’s always clean. My favorite thing to order is the crispy rice salad and the yellow curry.
When I was a kid in India one of my friends had A Burmese cook who would make the most incredible Khao Soi. Since moving to LA 20 years ago I have always missed that meal and haven't been able to find a good one until today!
Sri Siam knocked out of of the park! It was absolutely, positively the most flavourful and wonderful Khao Soi I have had in 20 years. The soup was delicious and perfectly spiced, the noodles were cooked just right and the accompanying sides were the best combination. I'm glad I drove the 15 miles to try this on the recommendation of a reddit post.
The service is extremely good, friendly and polite, the setting is basic, clean and welcoming.
Highly, highly recommend going here. Everything that was served at the tables around me looked delicious and it was clear that everyone was enjoying their food.

Awesome little spot but it's dangerous for us because it's walking distance from our house. Authentic cuisine and the sweetest staff here! Khao Soy is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Papaya Salad... perfectly sweetened yet lightly salted and will be my other favorite! Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes! We couldn't get enough of the Khao Soy! Oh and they have delicious Mango Sticky Rice! Definitely will be back!
The food is good but pricey. They charge everything extra without telling me, without detail of choices in menu.
I ordered:
1. Sour curry $17.95 I asked for omelette (cha om) they charged extra for it.
2. Red curry $14.95 I asked for catfish. They charged another extra.
$$$ The waiter should tell me what kind of choices I have and what kind of protein they will charge extra $$$$
I was very upset and disappointed.
**** I never ever go back again.****

I don't know if I just order different things when I dine in vs take away, or go on different nights, or what - but this is one of my favorite restaurants when I'm sitting in it and one of the worst when I order to go. So weird.
I got Pad Kra Pao (stir fry basil pork over rice) to go and they asked if I would like to have the white rice (included) on the side instead. I said "sure". To my horror, they charged me $3 extra to have the rice in a separate takeaway box as a separate item on the receipt even though the dish should come with it. Perhaps it may have been a miscommunication, but I find it very unethical :(
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in LA. It’s authentic, delicious and very consistent. Love it!
The best Thai in LA, sorry. Everything is incredible but the standouts (unsurprisingly) are: crispy catfish flake salad, radish cakes, crispy rice salad, khao soi w/ chicken, duck laab…but you can’t go wrong
best thai food ever, worth the detour
Pad see ew was not that great... Thai tea was a little disappointing but maybe I should've gotten the Thai tea in a cup and not in the bottle, the taste was weird.
Easily one of the best curries (I got yellow) I’ve ever had. The service was tremendous as well :)
Best Thai I’ve ever had.
Best thai food in la. Incredible every time.
Loved the Pad Sew ew!
Made a take out order based on a recommendation. And WOW. Best chicken pad Thai, ever!! Also got a small noodle soup that was delicious
My family and I went out to a wonderful meal here. Apple was our server and she gave us great recommendations on what to eat and even helped prepare our plates for us. I highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Apple as your server, you won't regret it.
I've been coming here for 25 years. Food is as amazing as the 1st time. Authentic Thai food. Great service.
Outstanding Thai food in the valley, and we haven't found any comparable place in the valley yet! Lots of interesting house specials. Pad Thai with crispy pork is my favorite. The classics are on point. Every time we try something new we're happy and surprised!
The crispy rice salad is unlike anything else I've ever eaten. I swear they could get a Michelin star just for that dish. It's incredible and you must try it.
We love the Spicy Basil, Khao Soi, Boat Noodle soup, Crispy pork salad. The menu is huge, there's something for everyone. Their spice level is on the spicy side, so just be warned when you start going for anything over mild because even the mild gets kinda spicy here. We eat here probably 1-3 times a month. One of my favorite spots.
Excellent food. Great attitude!
This Thai place is the bomb! I absolutely loved their crispy rice salad and vegetable fried rice.
The service is also amazing. The server was so friendly and checked in with us with a smile. She also transferred our leftovers into containers.
The restaurant is cute and quaint with plants on hanging strainers on the wall. The plaza where the restaurant is is a bit questionable but I would definitely be coming back!
I have never eaten inside but I love this place. I got stuck at a red light for forever and they still let me come get my food order 4 minutes before they closed! I appreciate them more than they know. The food is just the yummiest I've ever had. I've only ever gotten a pad Thai but I can imagine everything else being awesome too. They're so nice, give it a try.
Ordered yellow curry with tofu and it had multiple pieces of chicken in it. Definitely won’t be coming back.
Very bad service had to wait for close to a 1h plus old lady serve food to the customer while she eating omg.
This is one of the most unique and delicious restaurants I have ever eaten at. If you like Thai food, but want to try something new, this is the place! I’ve never had anything like it. I recommend the crunchy rice salad, green curry and roti, and the khao soi. I will dream of this place until I eat there again. It’s expensive, so I’ll have to limit myself.
Truly some of the best food we've had in a long time - we found this gem on multiple articles and it definitely did not disappoint! If you're looking for recommendations, we tried the Crab Rangoons, Yellow Curry, Pad Thai & Mango Sticky Rice. Food was delicious, the staff was great and if you're looking for a tucked away weeknight date spot - try this place!
Best Thai I've ever had! Everything perfectly cooked and perfectly flavored. Nephew is going to get sick of me asking to go there whenever I come to visit!
Probably the best Thai food that I’ve had in the LA area. The food is amazing. This family owns restaurant is a gem. I ate there 5 times over the course of 3 and a half weeks. Had a chance to taste at least half of the menus and it was all delicious. The trout special was amazing.
Great family owned place. Delicious dishes.
One of the most delicious, hidden Thai food spots in all of Los Angeles. I have lived all over LA - this place is incredible.
The duck larb, crispy pork w/Chinese broccoli, khao soy, crispy rice salad and papaya salad. Those are my favorites so far.
Excellent. Crispy rice with sausage was so good. I got it with medium heat, which would have been considered hot for a lot of people, and it was perfect. I've never had rice like that and it was still good .
Incredible! Crispy catfish, trout, and khao soi are 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Food was delicious and fresh.
One of the best Thai meals I've ever had. Easily one of the best Thai restaurants in LA. You should definitely go.
Love thai food
Crispy Pork Fried Rice was delicious! A must try if you don't mind pork.
Great place and I love to order from them, but seriously at $14.95 for a spicy basil beef and no rice? Seriously?.... Isn't the rice the most cheap component? Will still order from them but come on guys..this dish needs rice. And do we really need to make this order like $23?
Sri Siam's Crispy Rice Salad and Crispy Catfish Flake Salad items are two very delicious reasons enough for repeated visits whenever hunger calls for some of the most solid Thai food in town; if you don't do seafood, go for the Spicy Grilled Apple Salad instead. They serve yummy Thai Ice Tea, without or with boba, too!
Food was good, but they are stingy with the Shrimp.
If you like human food, this is not the place for you.
The diamond I’ve been looking for among the rocks. I loved duck curry
I ordered through Uber eats and the curry was absolutely amazing! First time trying this place and the food was delicious!
It's rare for me to be so interested in a place for the good reviews they get, but when I go there it's a total catastrophe. I honestly lost my appetite half way through this cold meal. Maybe my group of 4 didn't know what to order - the waiter tried to act like he was helping us but I think he needs training. This meal was a TERRIBLE VALUE for the money. With a 20% tip, (which they did not get) the check would have been about $105, with 3 diet drinks and a water. Four salad dishes which I found extremely mediocre for the money. And one very strange shrimp appetizer wrapped in fried noodles, which neither looked good nor appetizing, but tasted ok. What went wrong? Was it that the waiter decided to give us extremely slow service which caused us to be the last people served when we were one of the first to be seated. We watched 12 people get their food before us, not take out customers. If there was to be a very long delay, the waiter should have mentioned it. But he also should not bring entrees before the appetizer. Nobody likes it, or maybe his training didn't include appetizer timing. I had a grilled beef salad which had two things on the plate. A chunk of raw, cabbage, uncut, which the waiter later said was only for garnish, even though this was a salad. (I was expecting veggies to be healthy. Yuck.) And the grilled steak? How sad it was, a little pile of sliced meat with a spicy watery sauce. It needed rice badly but he didn't offer. There was nothing on that plate besides the little pile of sliced beef and the inedible chunk of cabbage. For $14 or $15 bucks, that would be close to $20 with tax and tip. What a Siam Joke. What a literal rip-off to sell such poorly presented food like their sliced beef salad, yet their photos on their website are carefully staged, not like the actual food. I will never trust this place again. What a joke, what a ripoff, what bad service, what a bad waiter, what a disorganized kitchen (can't get orders out together and straight), what bad air conditioning. What a loser of a restaurant this is! I wish I had taken a photo of the mediocre meal that was put in front of me.
The best Thai food in the area and some of the best in LA. Outstanding across the board.
Great, authentic Thai. The valley needs more restaurants that deliver this level of flavors.
Husband used to eat hete years ago when he lived nearby and we had a chance to go today... Was great food... ordered chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein and chicken satay... The best...woyld eat there more often if it wasn't so far from our home
A place to truly discover Thai food
So good and fresh tasting.
Absolutely delicious Thai food 😋
Don't let the exterior fool you, this place is yummy! The lunch special was plenty of food.
This is a review for their delivery order
Ordered the following:
Roti and green chutney - really good. Worth a try
Yellow curry - avoid it. The curry was good but it had a lot of potatoes and very less meat. Did not have any other vegetables either
Preparation and delivery was quick.

Food is getting to the next level here, crisp flavors awesome ingredients great staff
Food is subpar and staff seems to hate their job.
Love the Krispy rice w thai pork sausage. I can't find it anywhere else. So good. I like the pad thai and bbq salad too
Busy for a reason. Great staff and food.
Been a loyal customer since the 90s. Always delicious!
There are so many Thai restaurants in SoCali. This one is definitely several steps above. Worth the drive.
I had calamari, fish with almonds or peanuts, pad thai sea food soup and everthing was delicious, the service was excellent he served our food with pleasure.
Comi calamari, pescado con almendras o cacahuate, sopa de mariscos pad thai y todo estuvo delicioso, el servicio estuvo excelente EL sirvio nuestra comida von mucho placer.
Great food and service! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years now and have never had a single bad customer service experience. Their food is delicious and service is friendly and efficient. My kids love their shrimp fried rice and egg rolls.
Muy buena comida. 😋
So I recently went to this spot craving some good Thai food, I ordered their bbq pork over egg noodles I payed 13 buck's for my meal and I gotta tell you it was worth it, I was blown away on how good and delicious it tasted from the egg noodles and bokchuy to the grilled bbq pork all I can say is compliments to the chef and thank you for making such delicious authentic Thai food can't wait to order from this place again I highly recommend you try it for yourself you won't be disappointed👍 and let me not forget the Hispanic guy who took my order over the phone he was very helpful courteous and friendly and he even recommended some of his favorite dishes which I'm going to try soon Thanks young man for being such a great professional human being I'll get your name next time👍
Tried the green curry and it was amazing. My husband really enjoyed the wonton soup. Reasonably priced food and great service. 👍
We got lots of different goods. South sea fried rice, green curry with tofu, panang curry with shrimp, gaeng pla dook (catfish), simai, and crispy rice salad. All the foods were great. The sumai were fantastic and the crispy rice salad was worth the hype.
Out of everything, the gaeng pla dook was definitely the least favorite. The catfish had way too many bones for me. It may be more authentic that way, but I was not a fan.
Super expensive and probably the least tasty Thai food I’ve ever had. Ordered the duck curry and I don’t think I had any duck meat, just soggy skin. And half a pineapple. They don’t even give you rice with the curry.
This used to be a decent food before the pandemic. Now the food and the answering system is very poor
Start by not being polite with the costumers on the phone. The food was taste less .Thai bbq chicken tasted like any ordinary rotisserie chicken from any store ( not Thai at all) Pad Thai flavorless,Penang curry taste less... no forks , no napkins won’t order again. No more ordering from this restaurant do not waste your money here they might change the chef .
Best Thai food in the valley and the people are very nice.
Great Thai food and great service. This is definitely our go to for Thai. The crispy rice salad, the yellow curry, pad Thai are bomb. We Order from here at least once a week and it’s consistently good.
It was just delicious! We had the BBQ chicken on egg noodle, and BBQ beef on skinny egg noodle. Best creamy Thai iced tea! The price was great and the quality of their food was excellent.
Of the bad reviews I’ve seen (which there aren’t many) it seems like they were one-off experiences that don’t represent the caliber of experience you will have here. The pad Thai is incredible - and is CHEAPER THAN OTHERS IN THE AREA AND TASTES BETTER. Service is great. Just ordered a dish for pick up and it took 10 minutes. Great establishment.
Great happy hour till three
Goob
Highly enjoyable and tasty!
Amazing crispy rice salad from a very unassuming place in a strip mall.
The food is great and the service was fantastic their teas are not only good but can help with sickness this place is is awsome!!!
Just ordered from there. Small portions for price. Pad thai didnt have peanuts on it and very limited veggies and meat and taste. Pad sew tasted burnt...the egg tasted old and burnt and limited veggie sticks of broccoli not the broccoli itself with limited meat and sauce. The rice was hard. Curry yellow chicken limited mean and potato mostly water. Food was bland without real taste. Three items 46.00 with tax. I'm willing to pay of it's with it.
I love this place. I've never had a bad experience here, the food is amazing. Service is friendly. Parking in the strip mall can be pretty difficult on weekends but is usually very easy on weeknights. You have to get the crispy rice salad. I also adore their khao soi soup, it is my must have if I'm feeling under the weather.
Buen cafe
The food and drinks were all priced reasonably, and the food is delicious and filling
Overpriced!!! The food was ok but it is too expensive comparing to another good Thai restaurant.
Me gustó la comida
This the real deal Thai food spot. The is lots of good Thai food in the LA area but the thing that sets Sri Siam apart is the price and the menu.
Everything I want to ear it here. Dishes that are not always available at other restaurants are here, and they are good!
The food is fantastic, full of flavor and fairly priced. I have seen the criticisms of the service but I found it friendly and perfectly adequate. Yes there is a longer wait when the restaurant is busy, but it is a small shop. If you want super-fast food, go get fast food.
The one critique I really have about the restaurant is their rice is not the highest quality jasmine rice, that being said the prices are beyond reasonable.
Sri Siam is a North Hollywood/Burbank treasure and I can't wait to go back again... and again... and again...
Have been going to for 15 years what that say.
The best Thai foods
Walked in. Resturant was about 60% full. 1 lady working counter/floor. Looked like she was busy fulfilling to go orders. She did not look up even once at the myself and another person waiting for a table. We stood there for a good 3 minutes. So I left.
Bueno
I love the pad thai here, like I ate it two nights on a row the first time I ate it. Tonight I decided to order the yellow curry and it was so tasteless, it was disgusting. I make better yellow curry at home. I'd probably still order pad thai from here but stay away from the curry.
it was very friendly service
Food is good, but customer services is bad
Very busy. It's a small place, but they could definitely have benefitted from additional waitstaff but the food was delicious and everyone was very nice.
Happy fast and really enjoyed the food
Cute nice little local place. staff polite very nice 🤗🤩😊 food is good !
Best crispy rice.
This place and excellent and very accommodating. What i wanted was not on their menu and they were very quick to make it and it was fantastic
Is the best a restaurant that I choose to order food, organize parties every time
I live this place! Besr Tom Kha Gai soup I’ve had in the Valley, Pad Thai is great too! And good service - seems like there’s just one girl waitressing and she’s very sweet and is able to handle all the tables well when it gets busy👍🏽. Also parking always seems to be available. It’s true what “The Infatuation” article says - this is the best Thai place in the Valley you’ve never heard of!
Best Thai I have had in my life!
I’ve been ordering from this little Thai restaurant for a number of years now. I can say the food is fresh and delicious. Sadly they do not stay open too late as other restaurants. The pad see ew is my favorite and crab fried rice. Sometimes they are soo busy that they have refused to deliver. But I will still order from them, In the future.
Best Thai food. Staff is very nice and attentive. And the food is delicious!
Always great food
Food was most excellent. My only complaint is that we were charged $10 for a box of brown rice. That is exhorbitant! Service was good.
Crispy Rice Salad is Fantastic. Very good Thai.
They gave my DoorDash order to a wrong person and refused to correct their mistake. The lady was rude to both me and my Dasher. I will never eat there again or order from them again. I will not recommend them to any of my family or friends.
Had the green curry and chicken satay. Each dish had very bold flavors and cooked well. The cooks were very light on the garnish. The green curry I ordered with shrimp. I would recommend no meat or chicken. The shrimp was definitely over cooked. Bu the flavors were good enough not to complain. The curry itself was very rustic. Large chunks instead of consistant cuts. The plating wasnt great. Peanut sauce was like heated peanut butter. Just some construction criticism.
Do ask for the fish with apple salad (not the catfish) and the crab fried wontons are delicious. Nice thai tea also. Super friendly waitress.
I spent half an hour placing an order with them, then she said we were too far (13 mins on google maps)
They lost a $45 order..
I had the food delivered and was very happy with what I got. I highly recommend this place especially the yellow curry. I hope eat here in person next time!
Love the crispy rice salad.
Love the food here...the flavor is delicious ironically the little places are were the food is best.
The best Thai food.. in the valley
Incredible food! I’ll definitely be coming back many times.
Awesome spring rolls.
