I was in the mood for Thai food in this place did not disappoint in the least bit. Very cozy interior, in a quiet, intimate setting. For appetizers, I got this seafood platter, which are samples of calamari, shrimp, and fish, with a side of tartar dipping sauce. It was really, really good. I wanted pad Thai, but pictures of the orange chicken looked very appealing so I ordered it, and I'm glad I did. Orange chicken is called orange chicken because it is supposed to taste like orange, and it's very rare to fibd that! This dish actually tasted like orange. Succulent pieces of white meat in a sweet sauce topped with sesame seeds. I'm a fan!!

Just had lunch here today. I ordered the big papaya salad, pork green curry, and tom yum soup with shrimp. Food was excellent and the service was great very friendly staff and very good food. I am totally recommending this restaurant 😋!

The food is SOOO good, the decor is beautiful and it is owned by the cutest family. If you’re around the area I most definitely recommend.

While driving from San Diego to the Bay Area, we had a craving for Thai cuisine and stumbled upon this gem in Mission Viejo, CA. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the server. The cozy ambiance and clean bathrooms made a great first impression.

We ordered dishes #79 and #84 (I can’t remember the names, haha), and they were absolutely delicious, you could tell it was authentic Thai food. We also tried their adorable coconut jelly dessert, which was incredibly tasty. Highly recommended!

Diner Review №8

The food was amazing!! I can’t believe I have never been here before. The food and service was amazing! Highly recommended!

Diner Review №9

Ordered for delivery and the food was terrible!!! Shrimp spring rolls were stuffed with cabbage only found 1 shrimp cut in half!! Shrimp fried rice was over priced for the small portion that was recieved with no flavor and extra oily... dont waste your time go somewhere else!!

Diner Review №10

$80 for three plates, OVERPRICED, my Shrimp spring had lots of lettuce and only 2 shrimps! Super dry.

Diner Review №11

Amazing food! Very authentic and just like what you would have in Thailand. We were so happy with our whole meal and the owner was so lovely.

Diner Review №12

Leaving a 5 star review because this is authentic real Thai food! So delicious and highly recommend!

Diner Review №13

Great food and service. Pitcha is amazing

Diner Review №14

The place is new/clean but the food is mediocre. The tiger cry beef was tender but too salty. The pork massaman curry was too gamey. The only thing we liked was the chicken satay. We also were surprised when we didn’t have any utensils when food arrived and when bringing plates they asked if our 5 year old was eating.

Highly suggest elephant cafe instead in lake forest or Thai garden in foothill instead.

Diner Review №15

The food is fantastic, very flavored, and the prices are quite reasonable compared to what else is out there. Highly recommended.

Diner Review №16

Horrible service! I came to the restaurant and waited for 10 minutes, but no one approached me. The place was completely empty, yet the staff was busy with their own business. One of the employees, who should have been taking orders, was talking on the phone about personal matters. He just looked at me and ignored my presence, as if assuming someone else should take care of me. He was the only one in the dining area, while the other staff members were in the kitchen. I couldn’t even order food because no one bothered to come over. I absolutely do not recommend this place if you’re looking for decent service.

Worst service

Diner Review №19

This Thai place is absolutely wonderful. The food is seriously delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. I really like the mango sticky rice too and of course the Thai ice tea. Have dinner and drinks then walk next door to Patsy’s for some Kareoke fun and more drinks!

Diner Review №20

Delicious and authentic food probably the best in the area by far.

Diner Review №21

Best Thai Food @ Lake Forest
Great food, great portion and service.
Spicy Mint Leaves
Papaya Salad
Yellow Curry

Highly recommend

Diner Review №22

Amazing and very authentic thai food. Had chicken pad thai, soup, salad and spring roll (lunch special). Everything was so good. We are experts when it comes to thai. It's our favorite cuisine and have had the very best and worst in the world. This is a very cute and traditional thai restaurant. We will be back soon to try many other dishes. Go there!

Diner Review №24

An overdose of sugar and fat make this an extremely unsatisfying experience that left me feeling worse than eating junk food in a fast food restaurant. It completely lacks the zestiness and freshness that I'd expect of the genre.

Diner Review №25

Great Thai place. 1st time and we will be back!

Diner Review №26

The best Thai food I've ever had! Everything I order is delicious. I love the Tom Gai soup, duck curry, and prawns. Also, the owner and staff are so much fun. I never sing karaoke, but they were celebrating a birthday and I tried it... Such a blast! Must visit restaurant in Mission Viejo for great food and atmosphere.

Diner Review №27

Delicious authentic Thai food. Generous portions. Modest setting. Lots of interesting choices on the menu. Very polite and personal service, Thai style. We have eaten here several times. One of our favorite Thai restaurants in Southern California. Always delicious.

Diner Review №28

Sushi was really good.

Diner Review №29

Had a really good time with coworkers. Ended up getting drunken noodles with a Thai iced tea. The combo was really delicious. I also had a taste of my coworkers pad Thai and I’ll have to say it was one of the best in my life. The noodles like a sweet glossy textured packed with flavor and color. The kung pao chicken was great too.

Diner Review №30

Food was very fresh and good. Great weekday dinner spot

Diner Review №31

Ridiculously slow

Diner Review №32

We came here for the sushi and we’re very impressed with the wide variety of sushi and Thai food. Kail our server was very friendly and gave us great recommendations on what to eat. We need to go back now and try the Thai food.

Diner Review №33

Amazing Thai food. Great atmosphere and very nice

Diner Review №34

Great food, Great service and great atmosphere....Our sushi chef "Joker" couldn't have been nicer and really saw to it that our dining experience was exceptional!!!

Diner Review №35

I loooove this restaurant. Food is delicious, ingredients fresh and service is friendly. Best of all they have a sushi bar and their rolls are tasty and the presentation is unique. The chef is friendly and if you are lucky enough he may even create a dish just for you that is not in the menu! This is a place I see myself coming back to over and over. I recommend it highly. You may have to wait a bit for your food, but that only means it is being prepared fresh on the spot not from left overs from over night. Go ahead, give it a try!

The flavors transported me back to Thailand, a nation of foodies! Nestled in the corner of a relatively nondescript strip mall, Siam Thai & Sushi is a hidden gem of Thai authenticity and a modern spin on sushi. While many might find it unusual to combine Thai and Japanese cuisines, such restaurant concepts are familiar in Thailand and to Thai people. Believe it or not there’s actually historical precedent of Japanese influence in Siam, the former capital of Thailand, going back to the early 17th century during the Ayutthaya Kingdom. The fascinating story of Yamada Nagamasa, known as the “Samurai of Ayutthaya” deserves a closer look.

As for the food, I can only say that it was undeniably “oishi”, “ah-roy” or delicious. I highly recommend trying Thai classics such as the Pad Thai, Crying Tiger, and Som Tum as well as less well known dishes such as the Duck Curry and Khao Soi. I secretly hope to someday see Sai Ua on the menu to further remind me of Thailand. The Atlantic Roll is a colorful and decadent rice-free addition that marries Japanese sashimi with Thai spice and heat reminiscent of the Thai islands. Lastly, it’s hard to pass up on their Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee, both of which express bold and refreshing flavors.

You’ll leave satisfied with a desire to book a flight to Thailand for a month long culinary tour inspired by Siam Thai & Sushi!

Diner Review №38

Great food!!!!! They were renovating and they are now open again offering sushi as well. I have eaten plenty of times but only the Thai food. I will have to make another trip and try their sushi.

Diner Review №39

Been coming here for over a year now and every time is delicious. It's the only Thai restaurant I've found in the area that makes the food actually spicy. Food is great and authentic, prices are reasonable, order time and accuracy are superb, and the sushi bar from the recent renovations is also excellent.

Diner Review №40

If you searching for real authentic Southern Thai Food, or just general Thai Food. This is it! THIS PLACE HAS TOP QUALITY THAI FOOD AND AUTHENTIC!!! I am Malaysian and I have been to Thailand all my life. I know what is it like to eat and breath Thai food. Been looking for classic Thai dish (salted fish fried rice, dry curry chicken and tom yung soup) usually cant find it in any other Thai restaurant, not in LA certainly not even in Orange County. When i just come and do my laundry nearby this restaurant, i was browsing the menu, and looking at their menu i knew instantly they are serving very authentic Thai food. From the colour of the food, from the list of the ingredients written and explained in the menu, I knew they will satisfy my cravings and my belly. Best part is the cost of the food same as like any lousy Thai restaurant out there. The owner explained how they started their restaurant journey down from LA and slowly moving towards Orange County. This place should have wining award for serving Real Authentic Thai Food. So I ordered my dishes, so happy i get to see real galangal root, lemon grass, ginger in my soup. I am Asian, so I know these herbs good for my body. Exactly what i needed because i feel like I almost catching cold. I asked them to make it spicy for me, and it meets my level! Portion are very big and generous with rich flavour. Dang! They just did new renovation and now they even served sushi! I didn't order any sushi, but where can u go to Thai restaurant and at same time if yiu have small cravings for some sushi, u can order a plate or two. Perfect place to come with family who may sometimes want to eat sushi and you just wanted to eat Thai. This is it. Looks no further!

Diner Review №41

We had very tasty fresh muscles, rainbow roll, and salmon skin salad. We really enjoyed delicious Thai and sushi.

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

Terrible service.
Took forever. Food was unacceptable

Diner Review №44

Had a very good lunch and would return again

Diner Review №45

We fully enjoyed the Pad see ew. The Tom yum with shrimp was tasty, but we discovered that dune disassembly was required of inedible additions. (Bamboo?) Perhaps this is traditional. Good price; spent the same about at Burger King two days ago. So value wise, this place was fantastic!

Diner Review №46

That foto at the top of the page- with all the chairs turned onto the tables-really wants to make me go there.
You should consider hiring a marketing consultant.

Love it ! ❤️

Diner Review №48

I love this place !!! ❤️❤️ I come back here every weekend ❤️❤️ Delicious !!

Diner Review №49

Food was great but they couldn’t follow a simple instructions by including an utensils, napkins and paper plates. Staying at a local hotel without any utensils can be frustrating. This happens quite too often. Paying good money plus tip and just get the order is not acceptable.Reading other comments about take out, this is a common issue. Otherwise, I would of have not commented….

Diner Review №57

Very slow

Diner Review №58

The only thing I find disappointing is that they don't use dark meat chicken for any of their dishes. Everything else there has been excellent so far after two visits.

Diner Review №59

This restaurant fails every time at having ready pick up orders.

Diner Review №60

Pretty good Thai food I would say 7 out of 10 being the most amazing I've ever had. Good portions, you do have to call them and remind them for anything extra like sides..

Diner Review №61

Absolutely delicious!

Diner Review №63

Showed up at 11:05am on a Thursday and the door was locked and there was nobody inside. Called and nobody answered the phone. Signs on the window and online both say it opens at 11am. Very disappointing.

I’ve eaten here before and the food really is delicious, which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1.

Diner Review №65

We order a hot pot between 2, Tom Yum, it was really good and restaurant was nice and quiet

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

On 2 occasions they forgot about my takeout order.

I figured it was some software flaw and the second time I called before starting from my home, they said the food would be ready in 5mins. So I drive 20mins to the restaurant and ask for my order, they had no clue. Then someone else comes and talks in Thai and flips screens and finds my order, then again the girl says 5mins...I wait another 15mins for the food...I go home and try to eat....

The food was inhumanly spicy....I am a south Indian and I have high tolerance for spice and I am telling that they added way more red chilli flakes than they should...

My guests, my wife and I have suffered the night with burning stomach...

Never going there again...

Diner Review №68

So many great dishes & friendly faces here. Ordered take out and dine in before - same great quality and portions. One of my favorite Thai restaurants in South OC!

Diner Review №69

Orderd from this place a couple of times. Last time we ordered Kua-Kring Siam with pork, Homok Ta Lay, Tom Saed, and Pinapple Fried Rice. All of the food was just delicious with generous servings. They also dont scrimp on the spices and little extras. For example the fried rice had shrimp, vegetables, large chunks of pineapple, and even raisins. This is going to me my go to place for Thai food.

Diner Review №70

Chicken Pad See Ew is fantastic! And the Red curry is so flavorful!

Diner Review №71

How does this get 4.5 stars is beyond me. Egg rolls not crispy, and a bit raw inside if you ask me. Pad thai, never had a thai food that bland

Not a 1 star rating place either, but going with that to bring the average to 3, what it deserves

Diner Review №76

Yummy Thai food. Will come back for more!

Diner Review №77

I was here with my friends for lunch time on Friday. I was not a fan of the food but seems like everyone liked it more than I do, thats why I give it 4-star. It might be more traditional taste than I used to.

Diner Review №78

Best green curry with seafood I’ve had outside of Thailand. Generous portions, seafood tasted fresh and curry flavorful.

Diner Review №79

The only person working there was rude when we said we didn't like their curry chicken and not very helpful suggesting anything else my pork chow mean was excellent but the poor service made the overall experience suck. She copped an attitude everytime we asked for something to drink and ignored us completely after we sent a dish back.Ew are avid Thai eaters the meat just wasn't that good

Diner Review №80

Delicious food!!! Fast and friendly service!!! Very clean and cozy! One of the best Thai food we have been too! Will definitely be back. Absolutely delicious.

Diner Review №81

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

Super awesome service and amazing Thai food

Diner Review №85

Diner Review №86

Food was great. Service was bad. The waitress kept leaving the dinning area and takes a long time before she comes back out.

Diner Review №87

Good food!

Diner Review №88

Food was so so good. I’m beyond full because we just couldn’t stop eating! Their crab fried rice is a definite winner and the service was great. We forgot our sweet and sour sauce for the wontons and Kaew texted us to let us know and apologize. Very sweet and will definitely be coming back for more!

Diner Review №89

We love this place so much! Very nice family! Excellent service and food! Fried rice, Thai iced tea and egg rolls and more! MORE! Come thru! Highly recommended!
