Unassuming destination offering a menu of Thai cuisine, as well as Chinese standards.
Ordered the chicken pad Thai and was thankful it wasn't spicy.
You can tell they use fresh ingredients and the Hostess and waitress were very friendly and prompt.
Even though I ordered take out they asked if I'd like a water while I waited and brought it to my seat.
There's also outside seating area but the inside was lovely.
A friend of my wife recommended this restaurant to us a while back. We have gone here many times and got take out. This is the first time we have been able to go and dine in. There are available tables inside and outside the restaurant. All staff were wearing masks, and everyone was very nice. They serve so much food that I brought half of it home for lunch the next day. Everything tastes fresh, and I have never had a bad meal here. The cost of each meal is very good for the portion size. I highly recommend eating here.
Ordered a variety of dishes here including crying tiger, pineapple curry, and sweet and sour stir fry beef. All items on the Thai side. I can't speak for the Chinese side of their menu but it is awesome they have both. Portions are huge and we took home leftovers. All four of us. For the price it was def worth it. I was happy to have leftovers as I enjoyed the food. The steak in the crying tiger was a little under medium and leaned on rare at the center. Sweet and sour was really good here and I loved the curry as well. Overall it is worth a visit if you like Thai food. Waitress was responsive and attentive despite the place being very busy esp for an off time of the day for a late lunch like 2:30. I'll try the Chinese side next time. Also one strange thing is I didn't notice a bathroom. I didn't ask for one but I looked and didn't see a public one.
Everything about this place was amazing. Highly recommend the egg drop soup. A bright highlight on a dreary day. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Establishment was super clean and they made maximum usage of a limited space.
☠️AS OF OCT 5TH.☠️
☠️I WILL NEVER, EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE, EVER AGAIN... PIC. ATTACHED. ☠️ Fly found in food ☠️

They've changed. I used to love this place. No longer. Was told our order would be ready in 10 min. Then we were told another 10 min. Only to be told our order was lost. Didn't even apologize for the hour delay. Too bad.
This place is fantastic! The food is fantastic with lots of Gluten-free options. Daughter with Celiac disease has never been cross contaminated, and we've been going for years.
Slow
Never ready

We always order spicy noodles and the quality is always consistent. This is the better place in the city. Price is decent.
A delicious hole in the wall with Chinese and Thai menus. Great GF dining options.

The thai food is excellent.
This is my go-to place for Thai food for so many reasons. The food is absolutely incredible, staff is so friendly, and the ambiance is perfect. Not to mention, the price you pay for the portion feels like they actually care about their customers and aren't trying to rob you like most places in OC. I can't say enough good things about this place. We don't really eat out much, but we can't help but to come here once a week.
Sara provides the best service. Always has a smile on her face and is always friendly and super sweet. The food is great.

We went to dinner, party of 4. We ended up in the corner booth, took awhile for them to finally come and take our order. I ordered the crying tiger dish. Everyone's dishes came out but mine. Staff says it's coming out soon, another waitress comes by to refill our water, she also says my dish is coming shortly. Everyone is done with their meals, my dish still hasn't come out. They come out and apologized saying my dish had been given to a to go order. They then offered me an appetizer and brought me a salad. Made no offer to do anything for our bill. My girlfriend and her friend are frequent customers, I however won't be back.
Casual, authentic, delicious. This is one of our regular, go-to Asian restaurants. Everything is good here.
They have large portions👍
Killer hole in the wall Thai food. Wish we’d found it sooner. Food is excellent, service is a little slow, but that’s because they’re so dang busy. Seating area is tiny. They have a huge takeout business. Lots of gluten-free options.
excellent food and the prices were below $16 bit mostly13.26 and got
a lot of food!
Sara is the best..best customer service with excellent food.
The Waitress here added a tip to the credit card when I left cash. Management doesn't seem to care about this issue and wont return calls. This place has great food, but lacks being civilized as a business. I cant believe I'm even writing a review on this!
Truly an amazing restaurant with truly amazing food. I have been here many times and I love the food. I get the same food every time because it’s so amazing and delicious. The staff are super nice and friendly.
This place is amazing! The food was super fresh, hot off the pan and delicious. Service was exceptional, prices were great, and restaurant was clean. Literally couldn't ask for anything better.
Simplemente delicioso!!!
Cada vez que vuelvo, el sabor me atrapa más! 🥰
The food is not tasty, and the waiting time for an order is more than an hour.
I don't recommend this place
One of our favorite places to visit. First the food always surprises us with unique flavors and every dish was better than the last. Green Curry and their Orange Chicken was my favorite.
Average place to eat.
Thai food is good, especially the medium spice yellow curry 💛
We"ve been coming to this place since 2007. This place is small and being Asian, the food is just mediocre, but on this particular day this male waiter is just so rude we left promptly after sitting down. Needless to say we won't eat here anymore.. I suggest going to Eat Thai just down the street. The food is 10x better, service is prompt and there is NO long wait.
They got our order wrong and we didn't get a refund or our order corrected. The food is good but double check your order prior to leaving.
I popped in here on impulse for lunch. I grabbed a menu and found a booth. The server brought me ice water right away and greeted me with a friendly smile. The place is clean and has plenty of light from the front windows.
I ordered the 8 piece appetizer and yellow curry with tofu. The server immediately brought me a nice bowl of the Thai interpretation of chicken noodle soup. Chicken broth, chicken, bean sprouts, and wide rice noodles garnished with green onions. I was hungry so I gobbled it up. It's exactly the kind of soup I'd want if I had a cold.
My appetizers came out quickly. The server thoughtfully brought me some hot sauce. The plate included 2 chicken satay skewers, two vegetable egg rolls, two potato dumplings, and two shrimp dumplings. All of the appetizers were good, but I especially liked the potato dumplings dipped in a bit of hot sauce.
The yellow curry with steamed rice was good. Not especially spicy. I enjoy it because it's the Thai version of potatoes and gravy. For me, it's comfort food. It was nothing incredible, but it hit the spot.
I overheard a couple of the other diners chatting. One diner asked the other what he recommended. He said he particularly liked the cashew chicken and was diving into his meal with gusto.
The lunch portion of curry and appetizer plate was about $28 and I had plenty to take home for lunch tomorrow.
RECOMMEND
This was our first time trying this restaurant and the experience was positive. We ordered the avocado and tomato salad, crispy duck, and Thai fried rice and they were all tasty, but not the best one we had. It took some time for the food to come out, but once the first one came, the rest soon followed. The servers were attentive and took good care of us. We will come back and try other dishes in the future.
Dino Siam was tucked away in a little corner strip. Fantastic food. I don’t have photos because I was just too hungry and it was too delicious to stop to take one. We did a green curry, papaya salad, pad Thai, and the crispy duck. Great amount of spice. Staff was friendly and courteous. Ask about the tree out front! I’d go weekly if I lived closed by… not kidding.
The Best Thai food in town.
For a small place they have excellent food! The atmosphere is a little dated but the food more than makes up for it.
Delicious Thai and Chinese food. Great customer service.
very long wait, they say to wait 10 minutes, after 10 minutes they ask to wait another 10 minutes, I was waiting for my order that I made online for 25 minutes ...
Great lunch special, really good portion size for the price. Food tasted great and friendly service.
I consider myself a regular here. We eat here typically every 2 - 3 weeks. My go to dish it the Pad Sei Ew with chicken lunch special with a Thai Iced Tea. Both excellent. Chicken is very fresh and tasty and the entree is well-seasoned. I always ask for the Thai spices and they bring me these extra hot tray with 4 different spices.
They don’t serve the food too spicy so your friends who don’t do spicy will like it. However, if you like super spicy, ask for the Thai Spices and they do not disappoint…so good. Highly recommend this restaurant if you like Thai and a relaxing atmosphere.
The parking is excellent as it is always available, lot is clean and close to the restaurant, and wide spots for an SUV.
Great vegetarian dishes like the Imperial Corn and Mushrooms. Also the Vegetable Delight with tofu is excellent.
Delicious Thai and Chinese food in one place, cozy and friendly,
Very good food. Service is excellent!
Best Thai food in LA we drove all the way from South Bay area.the food is good must try.
Diho Siam in Mission Viejo is hands down the best Thai restaurant in Orange County. The service is top-notch, and the food is simply outstanding. I've been a loyal customer for years, driving past several other Thai restaurants just to dine here. The staff is always friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This place deserves a solid 5-star rating without a doubt. If you're craving delicious Thai cuisine, don't miss out on this gem!
Food is good, but has its ups and downs.
Excellent Tai ethnic food. Service was inattentive during our visit though.
It’s a small place but the food is consistently delicious and the service is great! Definitely recommend!
Muy buena atención y buena onda con los campeones ARGENTINA!!!!
I love this place!!!
Average Thai,/Chinese food. Very nice restaurant though and friendly staff.
We go once a week! Drunken noodle is my favorite!
I have been going here for many years. They have the very best Tom Yom Goong I have ever tasted including the ones I had in Bangkok. The rest of their food is excellent as well.
Got the yellow curry and Tom yum soup. Very good quality food, and very good service. Reasonable prices as well. Also got the Thai Tea which was super delicious, better than most I’ve had. Would definitely recommend this place.
Good grub. Big fan.
I have ordered from here 4 times. While the massaman is the best in the area, tonight is the last time I will be getting food from here after the service I received. I ordered online because I was in a time crunch and was given a pickup time of 6:25. At 6:25 I walked in, gave them my name, signed for my order and was told they are working on it and that it would be 15 minutes. I sat down, 20 minutes pass, I walk back up to the cashier, give them my name again, I’m told that they are working on it and that it would be 10 minutes. At this point I’m very frustrated and said “I’ve already been waiting 20 minutes when you said it would be 15”. She just responded again that it would be 10 minutes. I sat down again. 10 minutes pass and my name is called. I walked up to get my food and was met with the cashier holding the food behind her and loudly saying to me “I TOLD YOU IT WOULD BE 15 MINUTES? I DID NOT TELL YOU THAT!” At this point I realize she is trying to pull the race card on me because the person who originally working at the cash register no longer was and she was upset that I didn’t realize they were two different people. I apologized for the mix up but I will not be made out to look like a bigot.
Tempura was a bit too bready
I had order to deliver. When I came they said “not yet, not yet”. Same result after 30 minutes and I asked how long it will take?? Again “20 minutes not yet not yet” WHY YOU GUYS NEVER TELL HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE???? Please all GRUBHUB and DOORDASH drivers. Never accept delivery from this restaurant. You will loose at least 40 minutes of your time waiting the order. It is better to cancel it even if it will affect your acceptance rate.
Been going here for 20 years. Food and service are always wonderful!!
Horrible horrible service. The first time I went here, we ordered online for take out. After arriving when they estimated it would be done, there was mass confusion in the store. At least 6 of us, pick ups and Uber Eats folk, are left waiting on the dining area for our orders. The front staff can’t figure out who’s is whose. We’re told to wait. After 45 MINUTES of waiting, they give me half my order that’s been sitting behind the counter the whole time along with whatever they’ve forgotten.
Strike one. But the food tasted good so we tried to do it again.
Tonight, the exact same thing happened again! This is months apart. Order was almost an hour late. We only got it by making a stink. I will never order here again. It’s too bad. If they just hired more staff they could reverse this problem.
The food in this place is amazing. Staff is super friendly, kind, and fast. The atmosphere is a little peace of southeast Asia.
If ingredients were scarce or difficult to find in SoCal, I could see a restaurant which offers both Thai and Chinese dishes. However, this is not the case. We chose Thai dishes. What I found, on a Saturday night, were mild offerings and unremarkable flavors with below average presentations. Clearly this schizophrenic restaurant is cooking for it's local audience. Service was below average. One dish was forgotten, "Diho!!!? (think Simpsons)", and then cooked at the last minute incorrectly. No refund was offered. If you have traveled to Thailand and sought a restaurant to invoke those memories, this restaurant will not meet your needs. Keep looking.
Really good food!
The pad thai here is so good I get it three times a week. Great service, so much better food than the location in ladera. after going to that location I can confidently say this food is fantastic.
Great local food spot, actually one of the best Thai places in the area. Always consistent food quality and big selection of Thai and Chinese meals. I love how they put hot stuff in a foil wrap to separate it out from cold salad in togo container so I can enjoy them separately, so thoughtful! Thanks for serving people!
Some dishes too salty. Felt lack of attentive service.
Best thai food ever!
All staffs here are amazing 🤩 friendly and looking good 👍
We visited Diho Siam for the 1st time. Our server Jan was great, food was delicious.
Omg l love it so much . So happy that l found this place. So cheap and awesome food quality. I definitely Recommended it. Fast and kind. Will definitely come back again.
Always delicious! I've eaten both indoors and to go.
Great food. Friendly staff. This is a favorite for Thai or Chinese.
Really we had bad experience first time we ordered curry chicken and could not eat it because it was too spicy. They did nothing about it.
We decided to give the place another chance and we ordered Mongolian beef and it was fly on the dish again they just picked up the tray without saying anything two minutes later they came back with another try that it was totally tasteless. Again the did nothing. Check around the window frames and you can see lots dead flies around it. Also don’t go on Sundays for dinner they can not handle big crowds.
Friendly staff, excellent food!
Best Thai food in mission Viejo. Exceptional service in light of how busy they are.
Great menu and selection. Consistently good food.
They used to carry my baby and parade her around the restaurant while I ate. Doesn't get much better than that.
Sweet people and great food!
Friendly service, but I don't think they understand when asked for vegan food.
Very good food and service!
One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been! The cuisine here taste heavenly, with the greatest waitress they are very nice and they do their job absolutely professional. Ba Mee Haeng taste very delicious, Tom kha soup also very tasty. Pad Thai here are fine, we also got a gift from them 2 very delicious Thai tea. Absolutely earn 5 star !!! Lifetime experiment !!!
I had been really enjoying getting my food from this restaurant. My favorite was the 5 pieces Beef Satay with peanut sauce. Was! Why? Because suddenly they upped the price from $9.75 to $13.75 one week to the next!! The meat is not suddenly better. In fact, it seems like the beef is less tender and with more veins, so lower quality, at a 40% higher price!!
I am sorry, I know there is inflation, but not THAT much!!
Thankfully there are plenty of other Thai and Chinese restaurants in this area. It has been a nice ride, but farewell! I hope you'll be happy with the higher price and the loss of customers! I am sure it is what you are aiming for!
Have been coming here for over 15 years and the food has always been amazing! The girls who run it are absolutely wonderful and always so friendly! Best Thai food in Mission Viejo!
Decent turnaround time for food.
Pro tip for Thai Tea, ask for easy on the condensed milk to level out the sweetness.
When I’m in the area to visit my friend, they always pick this Thai restaurant. Why? Because they are friendly, fast, fair pricing, remember our orders. If I’m going to spend my money, I’d rather supporting local small business that makes you feel welcomed and leave super full and satisfied. We order tofu pad Thai with level 2 heat.
Delicious Thai dishes. Meat very tender *. .. Leftovers even more delicious. Service was excellent.
One of the best places to eat out in MV. Clean, tasty thai and chinese food, surprisingly big portions for the price.
My go to spot. The fried rice and the curries are to die for. Best Thai food in south OC
The food was soooo good, both Thai and Chinese. The staff there are also very friendly : ) They bring my baby brother a cute, kids decorated dish, and he loves it! I will definitely be going there again!
This place is amazing! The most delicious food and it feels clean and so freshly prepared. So happy we discovered it! Every single dish we ordered was piping hot, fill of flavor and so so yummy. Can't wait to try more things on the menu! It makes a huge difference that the staff is warm and inviting and so so sweet. Very reasonably priced. A must visit!
Chicken satay, Yellow curry and Pad Thai. Very good!
Hot and sour Chinese soup is superb. Try the brown rice, it has red rice mixed in and is delicate yet hardy. The spicy noodles are amazing!
The food was very tasty and plenty , service was very friendly. Our waiter came three time to refile the water, she was happy to see us even though it was our first time there. we tried four Thai dishes and all was fresh and delicious .
My wife likes it.
I think it is OK.
My favorite Thai restaurant. Every dish is high quality. Great for dine in but Doordash is also great option.
Best food but tiny place!
Not impressive. Very average and small portions. I’ve only
ordered one item and been once.
Food is great but be patient with takeout around dinner time. We'll worth the wait!
Food is always great.
We dine here or take out on a regular basis. Consistently excellent food and service.
For first time i eat Thai food At this please I really loved it. Recommend to everybody this place.
Not less not more they now their job
Good food and service. Nice peeps.
Clean place and good service but very little follow up after served food.
Love this location, staff is super nice to customers. I even saw one of the staff members offer a delivery driver a soda on a hot day. Wow, so great to see they treat everyone like this.
I had the Pad Thai and it was so tasty. Lots of peanuts and flavor. The soup was hot and spicy. After cooling off a bit the spice level was so enjoyable and made you want to go back for another bite.
So with flavor and great staff, its a win all the way!
Quality food.
The best fried rice I've EVER had in all my 32 years of existence!!!
Very good services, delicious food.
The friendliest staff and great Thai and Chinese food! Must try their 3 flavor squid!
Massaman curry was soso. All the ingredients tasted like they were boiled in unsalted water and "assembled" last minute instead of cooked in the curry together, no flavor. The curry base wasn't terrible but the divorce between the curry and the toppings was absolutely disappointing.
As for the pad thai, first time I had it I couldn't even finish half of it because it was so bad. Giving them a second chance I tried another time and was even worse. Will not try again.
Amazing service 👍🏼 the food is tasty and fresh 🥬 I would definitely come back 🤩
The service was amazing Sara our waitress was the best waitress I've ever had!! the food was great and just to very nice relaxing dinner experience
Regular customer, good food
Finally found "the one" in OC for thai/chinese food. There's parking out front and easy access and washrooms for customers accessed through the front/side of the restaurant (keys to be obtained from staff). Open for dine-in as of May 2021, takeout and delivery and following social distancing norms.
They have a gigantic menu with over a 100 thai and chinese options. I can only speak to the thai ones since that's all we tried and boy, was that delicious! Had masaman curry and drunken noodles, both piping hot and lip smacking. Oodles kf veggies and huge portions. Also when it was brought to the table, it was sizzling and we were hungry af! So it made for the ultimate comfort food. Staff is amazing (friendly and accommodating) and service is super quick. Highly recommended 💜
Get the Pad See-Ew and green jungle curry. You can thank me later. Wait staff is very friendly.
Best Thai food!!!!
Good
My Favorite place to eat no one’s better
The best thi cousin ever had
Great food!
Best Thai food I've ever had
I was told my order would be ready in 30 minutes. I've now been sitting here for an hour. I hope I actually get to taste the food at some point!
Wonderful 👍
Diho Siam is by far the best Thai food in Orange County. And this location on La Paz is the tastiest. It also recently got a beautiful and fantastic facelift. I can't wait to dine there again. Until Covid settles down, I'll just keep ordering take out. Avocado Curry & Angel Wings are the stars on the menu!
Excellent quality with prompt courteous service. Well done!
Insanely delicious. Had never came here before but tried it out on a suggestion. Short wait when we arrived, the place had maybe 10 tables total but the kitchen is fast so the table turnover is fast. Ordered the chicken chow mein and the husband got the pad see ew with spring roll appetizer. All was piping hot and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back, the food was phenomenal and the service fast, efficient and friendly
Awesome food very authentic freshly cooked
Delicious food. The inside is a bit small but it's worth the wait.
Excellent food! Great friendly service!!
The food is very good and the people are very nice but they need to do something about organizing their online, phone and in-house customers because all are suffering while they wait for their order...
Great foid!
Very good , hot & fresh and friendly service , great selection of food items.
Consistently great food and friendly service.
Best in town
As I was picking up a togo order, an employee was simultaneously eating with her hands and filling togo containers with sauces with her hands. Gross!!!!!!!
