AMAZING Thai food here!! Good for dining in and take out. I’ve tried their noodles, curries, fried rice, and Laotian dishes and everything has been amazing. Huge portions. Hot and fresh even when you’ve ordered to go. Not too be missed is the the Thai green tea — very sweet and slightly floral. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating!

Very solid Laotian place. I had the drunken noodles with shrimp. Very spicy! Very flavorful. My friend had pork. It was too fatty for me. The mango sticky rice was also good, especially the mango. Extremely kind and friendly service. Check it out when you're in the area!

Visited Los Angeles this weekend and wanted Thai food for lunch. Started with the Lao Papaya Salad which was very fresh to help wake up our taste buds. Proceeded to the Pineapple Fried Rice that was full of flavor and not too oily. Next was the Lao Chicken Larb that I had eaten for the first time. It had the right amount of spicyness and the ground chicken was cooked just right. Perfectly matched their tasty Pad Thai. That was a great lunch!

We came for lunch to try food from Lao. The lady suggested Khao Piak. It was surprisingly delicious. The home made noodle has a texture of rice cake and the broth was very flavorful. It was even more fantastic with the chilli oil they brought us.
The boat noodle was also full of flavor and has lots of ingredients. Very delicious!
The Thai ice coffee was very good but kind of pricey.

First time here and enjoyed our food. The seafood soup taste really good. The pad see ew, combination fried rice were also delicious and were fresh made. Service was outstanding, prices are good as well. Place is kept clean, wasn't too busy and there is plenty of parking on the lot.

Lao meets Thai. The fish, soups, curries, noodles, everything here is made authentic with love. They are generous in using real ingredients that are very difficult to find. The spicy catfish dish has real fresh peppercorns which is just extraordinary. The tom kha gai soup is made with all the real traditional Lao and Thai herbs such as galangol, lemongrass and kefir lime leaves.

It’s so hard to find places with such authenticity. The service here is the best. Friendly, efficient, and down to earth. No wonder why it’s always busy here.

Plenty of parking in the shared parking lot. They are responsive if you call they answer.

In no particular order: Thai iced tea, spicy catfish dish fish, Penang curry, tom kha gai, pad see ew, pad Thai, MANGO STICKY RICE, Larb, crispy rice, orange chicken… truly anything you order here will be epic.

This place is not set up for quick service. I went and they were way understaffed. People sitting and waiting. It’s not a quick, get your food and leave place. It’s set up like a restaurant, with one waiter helping customers and take out orders. Be prepared to wait…

Hidden gem alert! This little hole-in-the-wall pho spot blew me away. I ordered the pho chicken, and it was incredibly tasty – rich broth, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked chicken. The staff was super friendly, and my food came out fast, which was a nice surprise. Plus, the place was clean and well-organized, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality pho and great service!

I ordered Tom Yum Chicken and Lao Beef Larb.

For Tom Yum, it was too sour and didn’t like the normal acidity I’ve had in any other Thai restaurant. I had to eat Tums after the dinner. The chicken also tasted very tough. It was precooked and just put into the soup.

For the beef, it was way too soggy but the meat was tough too.

I was disappointed and wouldn’t return.

Stopped here going to a jobsite. Good prices, good service, good food.

Every dish is amazing.
They cook all their food fresh, the chefs in the kitchen is a masterpiece, every dish has amazing flavors. It's like you're at home eating your grandmother's favorite food.
Family oriented business, they're are great people who work their. They give you the best experience. For a family of 5 we pay almost $80 for chicken chowmein, beef broccoli, orange chicken, fried rice w shrimp, crab Rangoons, and as a special day I highly would try the beef steak with their special sauce. It's amazing ! It's a bit pricey, but it's affordable when dinning in.
Plate are big portions they come to you with big spoon to fill in your plates. You'll leave this place SATISFIED!!

They also take pick up order by phone.
And they only make you wait 20mins tops if you order to go in person. Quick service and great quality food.

If you've never tried this place, this is a must!!! The food is absolutely amazing, and they use great quality ingredients. They use white meat chicken instead of the rubbery dark meat used at other restaurants, plus the customer service goes above and beyond to make your order to your satisfaction. Try the lunch special chicken with mint leaves!

This place is a hidden gem! I ordered via delivery service as I have a cold, and the food was piping hot when it arrived. Portions are generous and the flavors are delicious. I ordered the Lao chicken soup and a tofu pad Thai. I will definitely order from this place in the future!

Discovered this place when looking for Thai food close to where I live. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection they offered.

I ordered online and only had an issue with the the tom yom koon the flavor did not taste traditional nor where the ingredients the mushrooms were Bella mushrooms and I did not taste lemon grass. Green curry great, pad Thai pork great chow mein great, overall delicious I was just bummed about the tom yom koon because ingredients listed are traditional but it is not what I received.

This has quickly become my favorite Thai place! House made noodles, whole fish deep fries, amazing curry, this place has it all. I've ordered from here many times and it's very consistent. Lots of easy parking. Check them out!

This is some of the best Thai food in the area. There isn’t a place in Mission Hills, Granada hills, or North hills that’s better in my opinion.

I had the Nem Khao Tod and the Khao Piak. They were both delicious. The Nem Khao Tod is like nothing I’ve ever had before it’s definitely worth trying. The lime and crunch of the rice had good taste and texture. The Khao Piak was a very nice chicken noodle soup but with crispy pork added to it. If you’re feeling down or it’s a cold day. It’s a must have.

Great food. Wanted to try a new curry and was recommended the masamun curry...it was so delicious. I will def be back. Orange chicken, chicken chow mein was tasty.

It's rare to find a northern Thai restaurant, but Kop Jai Lai does it right! There's Thai and Laotian options aplenty. Try the crispy rice, you won't be disappointed!

Great Thai food at a reasonable price. The expert seasoning makes the dishes. Start with the coconut shrimp appetizer. Pineapple Fried Rice is a very large and delicious dish. The BBQ beef is wonderfully prepared as is the yellow curry. The sticky rice/mango dessert is shockingly good. Service is always with a big smile.

This place immediately became a favorite and we've ended up coming here very regularly. The workers are so kind and friendly, especially Anne, and you will always feel welcomed. The food is amazing as well and the portions are very generous. The spice leven is great too, so if you like spicy food this is the right place!

I finally found an amazing restaurant for Lao food! When I saw they has Khao piek (Lao chicken noodle soup) on the menu, I had to try them out. It tasted so good and I can tell they make their own garlic chili oil (optional condiment). My partner hasn't had Lao food before, so it was fun introducing him to their Lao Specialties section 💖. Definitely having many moments of nostalgia eating delicious Lao food. Would be back again when I'm in the area. I want to try new dishes every time!

Delicious felt like I was at home. The Lao Food didn't miss a beat and it was perfect to end my trip in L.A. Service was incredible and will be back!

Especially for the area, this is a great choice for authentic Southeast Asian food. The restaurant is Laotian but you'll definitely notice similarities to Thai food as well as other surrounding areas. We had the larb and the most popular Laotian soup and they were both pretty enjoyable. The flavor of the soup was a little bit on the mild side and I love the pieces of fried pork belly, but overall, the larb with the ground beef was even better. Try both!

I enjoyed our meal here and looking forward to coming back. They really made you feel welcome. We had a crispy rice dish that was phenomenal.

We tried out a few dishes for a take out order. It was quick, hot and the employees are friendly. We had Pad Thai which was good, beef and broccoli, which my daughter liked and Tim ka Gai which was a little too sour for me, but coconut shrimp was outstanding. I would definitely come here again but for the price I would eat in. It was better than average and good enough for a repeat. Also not hard to get to or find in the North Valley.

What an amazing place to eat. This is the 3rd time we come and each time better then the next. From the soups,curry,fried rice spring rolls pad thai ect. To all the bad reviews(haters) .This is the place to eat. I am a legit reviewers and straight shooter.

Such a great place to eat some Lao or Thai food. I haven't been here since the covid lockdown so it was time to finally come back. The customer service here is amazing, the waitress kept checking up on us and made sure that all the dishes were delicious. I got boat noodle, my wife got her chicken pho, my friend got the fried tilapia fish and his girlfriend got the noodle soup. We also got the fresh spring rolls and fried egg roll as well for appetizers. They also have Sriracha but they keep it with them so you just have to ask or they'll bring it to you. I believe that is because of the whole Sriracha shortage.

The best Thai food in the San Fernando Valley. I suggest the Fresh Orange Chicken, Chicken or Beef Satay, my husband's picks. I get the Prik King with Chicken (mild), Garlic Shrimp, Garlic chicken, Crab Rangoons...my personal favorite!

I enjoyed the facility in all aspects and would highly recommended the aspect ratio.

Gave this place a second chance and I will not be coming back. They barely gave me any chicken pieces in my Green Curry. We order two Thai teas and they were so watered down with the milk they used and oddly way to sweet. Don’t Brother! They are located in a Asian community area can they not come to their local markets to get the proper ingredients? Lemongrass, Basil?

ordered broccoli beef and fried brown rice w/ chicken. the broccoli beef was ok. a little too much garlic for my taste, but ok. the rice was soggy to say the least. with slices of onion( really) the chicken was in slabs ( i mean really ) and hunks of tomato . to say the least it wasnt good . at $28 for both . in my opinion, its a pass :(

I ordered online through the website and the ordering process was quick and easy. They received the order and it was ready for pickup within 30 minutes. We ordered their signature Lao Sausage which was so good, very tender and gingery, would def recommend. We also ordered the combo fried rice and pad see ew and they stuffed the togo boxes all the way so there was a lot of food. Both dishes were delicious as well, would order here again!

Excellent Thai Restaurant. Excellent Customer Service. I ordered the combination fried rice minus the pork...came with chicken beef and shrimp...this plate is similar to spicy basil fried rice with protein....It was absolutely perfect! Incredible. I also ordered the pay yang curry with chicken and steamed rice (I know I misspelled (pay yang) but you know what I meant...lol) it was awesomeness as well. We were very happy with dinner tonight. Glory to God. You won't be let down if you eat here. Fantastic choice.

I ordered Khao Piek here and found my chicken pieces with clumps of hair/trash on them. Don't eat here. They're not sanitary.

Let me start with if a Thai place can’t be bothered to make the simplest Thai tea correctly you know the rest is garbage just stay away. I’ve eaten at dozens of thai places and this is the worst of them all. They live in an Asian market district and can’t be bothered to use any kafir lime Leaf or other authentic seasonings. Trash. Literally the dish I got had less than 50 grams of chicken the rest was just liquid and bamboo shoots.

If you're looking for either Laotian or Thai food, this place is really good. They have very friendly staff as well.

Just double check that it's open when you go, some days they close between 3pm and 4pm.

I recommend the nam khao tod, the yellow curry noodles, their yellow and green thai curries, their solid pad thai, and their very nice drunken noodles.

If you ask for extra spicy, you get close to authentic levels of spice, so don't be surprised by the spice.

I love this place. The food is so consistently great, i could eat it everyday.

Being Hmong and moving to West Hollywood, this is the closest restaurant that has Laos food. Makes me homesick because Hmong food is very similar to Laos food. Highly recommend anyone looking for traditional Dishes. So happy I was able to find this place and I truly recommend them.

The best foods. I gave 4 stars because of their short staffing. I had to wait at least 15 minutes to order and delayed on service due to having just one person on the floor. (The Server also handle calls, cashiering, cleaning tables, serving).

This has been my favorite thai restaurant for years but I'm very disappointed I havent been able to eat there recently because my only free time always seems to coincide with the restaurants lunch closure. Today I was super excited to go get some because I got off a little early.. was 2:43. They close at 3.. she asked if I could be there in 5 mins because she has to leave...... I get it, they want a break but when u wont even keep to your own lunch break time, its disappointing. Hands down best thai food in the valley but the customer service has gone way down.

The food tasted good but I've had better at other places. Smaller portions compared to other places. More expensive than others too. I will probably stick with my usual thai restaurant.

First they said they had vegan options, ordered the curry, and then she called me to say that the paste had fish! Not sure why the coconut paste would have fish but there it is.
