We are proud to present to you some of the finest authentic Thai and Cambodian cuisine on the peninsula, at our multiple locations in Milpitas and Campbell. At Thaibodia we serve unique dishes that combine the aromatic spices and flavors of Thai food with the distinct hallmarks of Cambodian cuisine
I visited this Thai place for the first time, not specifically for Thai food, but decided to try it out. We ordered Thai red curry, Tom Yum, and two different types of noodles. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients. The Thai red curry had a rich, creamy texture with the right amount of spice, while the Tom Yum was tangy and aromatic. Both types of noodles were cooked perfectly, adding variety to the meal. The quality of the food definitely met the standards, and the portion sizes were generous. The service was quick, efficient, and the staff was friendly, making the overall dining experience enjoyable.
During my recent visit to Thaibodia Bistro, I had the pleasure of trying their chicken satay, prawns crispy wrap, and pad see ew.
The chicken satay was grilled to perfection, with tender, juicy pieces complemented by a rich, flavorful peanut sauce. The accompanying cucumber relish added a refreshing contrast, enhancing the overall taste. Other 2 dishes were delicious.
The portion sizes were generous, offering great value for the price. The service was prompt and attentive, contributing to an overall pleasant dining experience.
Nestled inconspicuously within its surroundings, the Thai restaurant may not catch the eye from the outside, but its interior tells a different story. Upon entering, guests are greeted with a refreshing sense of cleanliness and modernity, setting the stage for a pleasant dining experience. The interior ambiance, while not traditionally cozy, exudes a welcoming atmosphere that complements the restaurant's focus on contemporary cuisine.
Despite its unassuming exterior, the sleek and modern interior design adds a touch of sophistication to the dining experience. While it may not embody the cozy charm of a traditional Thai eatery, the clean and inviting atmosphere creates an enjoyable setting for patrons to indulge in flavorful dishes.
The menu offers a selection of Thai classics and modern interpretations, with highlights including flavorful curries and aromatic stir-fries. While the food is generally satisfying, it falls short of achieving culinary excellence, with some dishes lacking depth of flavor or finesse in execution.
Service is efficient and attentive, contributing to an overall positive dining experience. However, prices may seem slightly high for the quality of food offered.
Despite minor shortcomings, such as the lackluster exterior and some inconsistencies in the food, the Thai restaurant provides a decent meal with a clean and inviting ambiance. It may not be the epitome of culinary perfection, but it offers a pleasant dining option for those seeking modern Thai cuisine in a sleek setting.
Tried the Combodian yellow curry. I didn’t like it much, guess the Thai curry is much more flavorful. This curry was not as thick as Thai curry. But had a lot of veggies. Tried the Mandu and it was good. Pineapple rice was amazing…very flavorful. Quantity was good.
The servers were friendly.
Food: First time here and I’m pretty impressed! This is probably the best Thai restaurant I’ve tasted in Bay Area. Comparing to the price and food, this is a very nice place. They have the best Tom Yum Soup! The Pad see-ew is well seasoned and not too salty like some places. The BBQ chicken tastes delicious enough without the sauce! I’d definitely want to revisit again and try other dishes on the menu!
Service: very casual and nice atmosphere.
Ambiance: casual dining with friends or family is recommended, or if you simply want to try delicious Thai dishes :)
The food was good. Had the basil pork dish. Portion was large,, could definitely have shared this dish. Price moderate for these days, around $20 for lunch. Had leftovers for dinner.
Location used to be the Baja Cafe. Definitely new as it is still very clean.
Went back and had the crispy noodles and string bean dishes. Absolutely delish!!!
This is the best of three stores, they have one in San Jose and one in Campbell.
Thaibodia is a decent spot for your usual Thai cuisine. I ordered takeout and it's a bit tricky to gauge food quality since everything was pretty moist.
I could tell that they did the crispy chicken dishes well since it still had its crisp despite the packaging. Definitely a place I'd recc folks to dine in at instead of getting takeout from.
Atmosphere was clean, open, and good for large casual group gatherings.
Disappointing taste quantity and prices
The food was incredible
Now, I do not usually make reviews, but this needs to be said. While the food and atmosphere are definitely worth checking out (despite the expensive pricing), I do believe that an invisible gratuity fee of 20% if a person has 5 or more people in their party is extremely deceptive and in my opinion, feels illegal! If a restaurant cannot inform their customers about gratuity fees when it is required, that is a shady business practice! This place has great potential for being a hotspot for Thai and Camobodian food, but as a customer, if I cannot get full transparency of what I pay for, I don't really want to come back again.
EDIT: Hi Thaibodia! Thank you for responding to address these issues. Admittedly, I will say that not seeing that text is on us, as I had no idea that it was actually stated on the menu! (My brother was the one who was ordering, so it's definitely possible that he completely skimmed over that, in that case, that is on us.) May I make a suggestion though? To avoid future frustrations, maybe staff could openly disclose the fee policy immediately if a table has a party of 5+ people? Just so that it isn't a surprise when the bill comes if a party like mine overlooks the fine print. That, or possibly making that gratuity fee policy more prevalent in the menu too? So that it isn't as easily overlooked. Once again, thank you for responding to clear up my confusion, and I hope you take my suggestions into consideration too!
Visited for the first time and got takeaway. They had a great offer of 3 entrees for $39. Loved the pad see ew and red curry. Will definitely visit again

Best basil fried rice ever:) with a protein of your choice, and several other basil dishes are all perfectly done..
Would recommend to try the fried calamari as well..and curry, with your choice of spicy levels;)
In general the portions are generous, easily could be shared..
Definitely recommend to try ordering online, they have family specials , tasty, reasonably priced and generous ..
Could feed 4+ people..
We ordered all vegetarian food- fresh spring rolls ( wrapped in rice sheet), Tom kha soup , yellow pumpkin curry and mango-sticky rice for dessert .
Their portion sizes were decent .
We enjoyed Tom kha soup the most ! It was flavorful and perfect for the weather .
The fresh spring rolls were poorly made - very loosely wrapped into an extra wide oversized roll . One bite and it fell loose . The mix was just chopped salad with one stick of roasted tofu stuck inside ! The peanut sauce was too watery & sweet.
The pumpkin yellow curry was flavorful and tasted good with brown rice . But it Had three cubes of uncooked pumpkin in the whole bowl ! So much for the name :(!
The women staff on the day were loud , hurried and indelicate in the way they served or cleared tables . It was as if they were upset in the way they put down dishes or cleared them. It made us feel unwelcome / uncomfortable .
And finally , if you went to the restroom and hoped to fix your hair or check your teeth - you’d be disappointed . There are no mirrors !
It was my 4th visit to this place. Food is good, authentic taste. I liked the consistency of the food quality. I can say the place is gaining popularity based on number of guests for lunch on weekdays.
I loved the mango salad, the ingredients were of high quality including fresh leaves. The fish dish was very good, the sauce had the typical taste, the eggplants were cooked perfectly. Padthai was standard. The only thing I did not like was baby corn in cashewnut chicken. Ohh, I should mention about the thai milk tea, it was awesome!!
Great atmosphere. Food served is Thai and combodan style.
I'm sitting here contemplating my life, and the fact that after 2.5 years of moving to California I finally found my favorite Thai place!
Great place to eat and relax.
Delicious Thai food!
If you're craving authentic Thai cuisine, this is a must-try! Their pineapple fried rice and green curry were absolutely delicious, and we can't wait to return and try other dishes.

Delicious vegetable tofu curry & pad we se noodles with chicken. Inviting Clean, bright, atmosphere. Clean & stocked restrooms too! We’d definitely come back!
Overall, had a great experience. Will visit again.
Spicy Basil Fried rice (vegetarian) - 5/5
Pad kee mao - 4/5 (less veggies/tofu)
Corn fried appetizer - 3/5 (Too oily and missing salad)
Mango Sticky rice - 4/5 (Decent - nothing special)
Food and service were excellent!!
Loved their green curry and brown rice. Reminded me of Thailand, authentic and just the right amount of spice.
I love their pad thai seafood! It’s so flavorful and they have already added lime just for you in to-go orders! It was very filling and it was a lot too! I hope to try their other dishes sometimes in the future! It’s reasonably pricey, but as long the quantity is filling! I wouldn’t mind paying $21 for pad thai!
Clean, spacious, quiet, modern with hearty food, made from ingredients whose freshness you could taste, with helpful, friendly service by staff, who appeared invested in the business, open on our unusual “lunner” schedule. We’ll be back.
I’d forgotten how much I enjoy papaya salad since the demise of White Shallot. I’d not had sweet chicken dumplings before but would again. The roti wasn’t up to Layang Layang’s standard but then nowhere is. I might have wished for my benchmark green curry chicken with a little more zing, had I noticed a choice. No need to go to a separate boba tea shop to wash it down - they have you covered, including toppings. Mango milk tea with lychee 25% sweet, so good that I’d have another right now, though it was already a large size.
I was happy that the big screens weren’t playing sports. Black glass was fine, but South East Asia offers many beautiful sights that add to the ambience in eg Rangoon Ruby. The electronic menu worked well enough, perhaps even better with the ordering not done electronically and I liked the defaulting to NFC pay.
My previous review, from six years ago on El Camino Real in Santa Clara, had somehow followed the restaurant to Milpitas. Our experience today was immeasurably better.
I absolutely LOVE this place!! Ever since I tried it last year, I've been HOOKED!! I looooove their pad thai with chicken and tofu (it already comes with it) and I make mine spicy. I also really like their shrimp fried rice and chicken yellow curry 🤤 u definitely must try! They have an awesome thai coffee too!

Orders fried rice
Nothing great
Too much oily
I make an order to be delivery to my home, arrived on time and in well condition, temperature and packaging.
Pan fried dumplings and sauce was good
Yellow curry with rice, we ask mild and was more spicy than I really like or think for a mild food and the potatoes and carrot were to al dente (under cooked) but was a good flavor.
Pad see-ew beef , was very good but you have to fishing for the beef.
Eggplant basil I asked for no spicy and unfortunately was so spicy for me and my wife that we couldn’t handled it ( yes, we called and they redound the dish. THANK YOU)
That are the reason why I give you guys 3 ⭐️
But in another hand , I think they deserve a second chance and see what happens because the flavors was good the portions ok and the price are reasonable.

Good food. Good people. Good service. They took care of our vegetarian preferences.
Shows closing at 10 but they close around 9:30. Such a waste of time and their service is extremely poor. They don’t care about the customer.
Yummy food, reasonable prices!
This review came out after our meal so unfortunately no pics. We ordered 1) Pad Thai Chicken, 2) Basil Chicken Fried Rice, 3) Garlic Pork, 4) Atomic Beef and 5) Green Curry Chicken to go. The flavors were excellent in which we found ourselves scooping from each dish every time our plate was emptied. The portion size was great in which we had enough for lunch and dinner (and then some). The restaurant also has a relaxing cool ambience and is our go to Thai restaurant. This is our go to Thai restaurant in which the quality, flavor and portion size is excellent.
Pad Thai was not dry like I expected. Also I ordered shrimp and got something else 🥹🥲.
We always do the four dish take out meal. Always excellent.
Excellent Thai /Cambodia food ,service great, very clean inside.
Great tasting food, awesome staff highly recommended
Best Thai place in San Jose. Ate the drunken noodles, five sauce cod fish and sticky mango rice.
I think they should just shut this place down if they cannot run it. The two waiters at the counter have a lot of attitude. She had trouble taking a phone order. She won't reply to why the online website isn't working. She wanted to hang up after I just mentioned the first item out of the 4 I wanted to order. I had to ask her if she wasn't interested in taking my order. Once I reached to pick up, there was a very similar vibe with the guy at the counter. He asked me for a name on the order. When I told that she didn't ask for one nor wait for me to give it to her, he stared at me like it was my mistake. And when he found my order, he just left to clean the spoons without giving me the order. I asked him if he was waiting for anything else, he ignored my question. I had to remind him that was rude and to give me the bag so I can be on my way. Just before I left another customer walked in for dine-in at 9.10pm. He rudely told him no more dine-in for a place that closes at 10pm. Apparently the group came from a long way and he was rude to them as well. The other customer clearly was pissed off and called his attitude out and said "You don't seem to be sounding sorry at all." Anyways, this was my first and last time I'd be visiting this place. Shut this down if you can't run it.
the same excellent tasting food as usual and alway ontime when picking up.

Service was really bad. Didn’t like the attitude of the guy who was taking orders & serving. Didn’t even care to refill water. Food was decently good. Veggies were little undercooked but overall tasted good.
Really great tasting food! Great environment with huge TV screens if you want to see some sports while enjoying amazing Thai food. I ordered online, and I showed up earlier than the time given. The food was ready already. They have fast service too. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and the Pad See-Ew. They were both AMAZING! Can't wait to try more dishes.
Pretty and clean chic interior with great Thai and Cambodian food options.
Spring Rolls (2.5/5): The fried shell was tough and hard to eat.
Pad Thai (4.5/5): Quite tasty; a bit on the sweeter side.
Salay Matchu Ktiss (4.5/5): A Cambodian stew with coconut milk; similar to a Thai curry but with turmeric and slightly different seasoning (think Burmese or Indian coconut stew) and veggies including mushrooms and pineapple.
We just randomly pickup some food. All of them were excellent
Food was amazing and a great service. We ate Fish in a teriyaki sauce which is good, lemongrass grass chicken is little dry for us, pan-fried Dumplings are yummy, Pad se ew and Basil fried rice is one of the best 👌..Thank you ,hope to Dine in sooner.😊
Poor customer service
Our dining experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The house fried rice, particularly the chicken, tasted old and unpleasantly rough. The servers displayed rudeness throughout, and to top it off, a 20% gratuity tip was added for treating our group of four adults and a 9-month-old. I understand that they have policy of adding gratuity tip automatically for a group of 5+ but considering my 9 month old as one adult seemed very unreasonable.
Never ever going back there again for 3 simple reasons 1. Food isn't fresh 2. Service is worse. 3. Cleanliness(see report below)
Far better Thai restaurant in and around the area for better price
Did a bit research about this restaurant after our visit and found the below violation data from YELP
Nonfood contact surfaces not clean
Floor, walls, ceilings: not built, not maintained, not clean
Food not separated and unprotected
Food storage containers are not identified
Inadequate handwash facilities: supplied or accessible
Plan review unapproved
Equipment, utensils, linens: Improper storage and use
Improper hot and cold holding temperatures
Food contact surfaces unclean and unsanitized
Sewage and wastewater improperly disposed
Hands not clean/improperly washed/gloves not used properly
Good portion size, great variety including vegetarian. It’s become our go to restaurant when we’re in Milpitas. Medium was too spicy for us, mild was perfect. Mild here is medium in most other restaurants.
I like the food. Quality and Quantity both are good.
The food is fresh, hot, delicious and plentiful. Not oily, no skimping on tofu or veggies, easy to order vegetarian and the spice level was what we chose. The takeout special (check their website) was really great.
Food is tasty and well priced for the huge portions they give (we generally order a dish per person and have lots of leftovers for the next day.) They've got their own little parking lot as well and decent restaurant capacity size. Servers attentiveness really depends on how busy they are, which is reasonable.
Bad customer service by the waiter.
Very good selection of Thai food
I have been there twice for dinner with a friend & both times we had a bad experience. My friend was served chicken still with blood, i was served wrong order.I was a regular @ the Santa Clara branch & it was excellent for years till they closed. The servers @ Milipitas are young & always on their personal phones, they don't check on customers.I won't be returning to the Millipitas branch. I'm going to try the Bascom branch where the Santa Clara staff moved to.
Good curry dish. Nice decor, with TV screen at each end of room.
The food was fine but the serving sizes were very big. If you could not take it home (like is as we were traveling), it was wasteful. The atmosphere was interesting, with 3 large and bright TVs dominating the room. If you like what is on you will be fine.
Went for an early lunch on a Thursday and was surprised to see quite a few tables filled. The place has a lovely ambience and is a great spot for a quiet food outing & casual dates.
We ordered a shrimp cake for appetizer, pineapple fried rice with chicken, pad see ew with chicken, char karee kok with pork for entree. Service was nice and pretty fast and quantity is really good. All the food was tasty except for the pineapple fried rice which had a canned pineapple taste to it. I have tried their house style fried rice before and highly recommend it. I like it that they have lot of options and you can choose the type of protein that you want. Ended the lunch with their only option, mango sticky rice and it is the yummiest dessert!
Our go to for Thai takeout. Big portions and good flavor.
The curry was very tasty. And prices were reasonable.
Took a risk and went for it here and we have NO regrets! The serving sizes were more than plenty, the service was great, and the food came out incredibly quick. We got two of the noodle options, the pineapple curry, and the pineapple fried rice! The noodles were AMAZING and the fried rice was almost creamy SOO GOOD. Probably wouldn’t get the pineapple curry again, but we’ll definitely come back next time we were in town!
They offered a super family deal 4 entree for under $60 food was overly spicy 🔥 even i lf we selected medium heat I can't imagine anyone opting spicy 🥵 please order super mild if u want to enjoy the food flavors and if you want your taste buds to remain intact.
solid food. id come here again for weekend leftovers. a little salty add rice at home
We got the pineapple fried rice, angry chicken, and chicken satay (yes all chicken LOLL) my favorite was the fried rice as it was very flavorful and the satay was good. Angry was just typical veggies with chicken. This place was pretty good, with good service and being pretty clean. If you need your fix of Thai food, I'd recommend you come here. There isn't anything mindblowing or life-changing about this place but that doesn't mean I wouldn't come again. The aromatics of the food were really good tho LOLL perhaps THAT was life-changing.
the Thai salads are a disappointment and the server was hawking for better tips. Not a great place, I have had better Thai food in my days.
The salad was not worth the money $20 for less seafood and they wanted tips pretty bad
I recently dined at this place and unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed with the food. The dishes I tried were incredibly bland and lacked any discernible flavor. It felt as though all the taste had been drained from the ingredients, leaving me underwhelmed and unsatisfied. However, I must commend the staff for their excellent service. The waitstaff was attentive, polite, and made an effort to ensure a pleasant dining experience. While the service was commendable, the lackluster food greatly impacted my overall impression of the restaurant."
Went there when they opened and server/waitress was still mopping the floor. We were the first and only customers at 11 am so atmosphere was okay. We ordered salaw machew kreung beef and fish cakes. Fish cakes were a little over done, and soup was okay. The guy behind the counter with the glasses was attentive and nice, but our waitress could be more like him. I would definitely give this place another try mid day next time. There are more food on the menu I would like to try.
Good options and good food......but $90 for four entrees & two rice? Not sure how that worked out.
Good
Authentic Thai and Cambodia cuisine; one way to tell is the spice in picture; it is called Nam Pla Pric; one of my way to identify genuine Thai restaurant is to see whether they provide spice tray with Nam Pla; with it, it might be authentic; without, very likely it is not. Long store short, the food here is amazing. Tom Yum soup, basil eggplant; and Pad Kee Ew (wide, Thai noodle stir fried). Each dish costs about 15-20; reasonable and easy going family style place; highly recommended.
Yum
Delicious food
The ambiance is good. The staff are friendly and the service is good. Portion sizes are good. But the taste is not great. I tried chicken sauté and angry with chicken and vegetables. Sauté’s came with peanut sauce and cucumber onion sweet sauce. I felt peanut sauce made from peanut butter and lemon juice. The angry chicken dish is a total disappointment. Not flavorful. It is not spicy at all. It’s zero on the scale of 1-10. We had to ask for some spicy sauce. I was looking for authentic Thai spicy food. Definitely, this restaurant didn't win my heart
Great food 😋 we had the Yellow chicken curry, pineapple rice, and Pad thai. Great portions very flavorful. Awesome service
Amazing food!! There were tons of vegetarian options too.
Good food and nice ambience
I looove the food here! Soo many delicious options. The food taste authentic too. I’m Cambodian and I love all the Cambodian stews!
Love this restaurant. Food is delicious. Green/yellow curry
Great Thai food. Eggpland basil is amazing with Shrimps, Beef or chicken. Tom Kha and Tom Yam soups are very good.
Chicken satay well done and has a right amount of meat. In some places you can get thin slices but this place provides big chicken pieces.
The only thing I would changes is the number of shrimps they put into dishes. It's usually 7 or 8 but I'd like to see 10 at least. That shouldn't change cost much.
Parking is a bit small, but the food is excellent 👌 the portions are huge with fair pricing. The service is also amazing. Skinny manager with glasses is very funny and provide very good service. The other lady server was also very friendly and provide excellent service. Overall I would come back multiple times including with families and friends.
Chicken wings were so bad, not cooked properly, bad taste
Food was very good, and portion sizes large. Only downside was automatic 20% for party of 5+
Very nice Thai food. Taking one star because sometimes have problems with spice levels.
It is a second time we are getting their special deal of three meals for takeout. This time it was chicken, pork and fish. Everything was really good and tasty!!! Wonderfully done, spices - just right, really nice experience. Will be dining and taking out more often!!
Super delicious food! On my top 3 Thai food places for sure. The five flavor chicken was super crispy yet saucy as well. The pad Thai had a mix of egg tofu and chicken which I loved. The satay chicken was my favorite 10/10 for perfectly cooked yet juicy. Their peanut sauce with it was so flavorful.
Looks like the restaurant does not believe in customer service especially front desk is not respectful to the customer.
Howcome pictures I see in reviews have enough meat in them? We ordered the chicken Pad Thai and pork Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) through Doordash and when we got we barely had meat in both of them! I GUESS I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM THEM THROUGH DOORDASH.
We will stick to Thai Recipe in San Jose.
Large portions, friendly staff, clean new place. Recommend it
Amazing food quality . We have ordered it multiple times.
The food wasn't bad and portion sizes were good but the atmosphere was really "sad". Hardly any decor, felt cold, and almost industrial. A bit like an office canteen. The server felt like she had zero interest in her job, barely spoke and didn't even ask if we'd like to add rice or anything to drink to the order.
Yummy fried rice!
Food is Very good!
We got pineapple fried rice and Pad Thai with medium spice. Both were super bland and there was no salt. Very disappointed
Great Thai food. Good portions and very reasonable. If you like green cury, this place has some good food.
Muy sabrosa toda la comida recomendada
Nice family restaurant, well done interior however outside looks cryptic and not an impression on the restaurant and the interior.
The food tasted pretty good and the quantity was good but they did not provide rice with Thai Curry which was surprising.
By far, one of my favorite restaurants in the South Bay. They used to be on El Camino in Santa Clara but now they're in Campbell near Pruneyard and the new location on Main street in Milpitas. They have fusion Thai/Cambodian food that is so delicious but the garlic butter wings are THE BEST! They fry and pan toss with sweet onions, garlic, jalapenos and french fries. It is so frickin' GOOD!!! Trust me, you have to try it if you eat at the restaurant. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
New spot alert! Have to say this place is pretty darn good. The service during lunch was great. The food is really good and let me warn you, portions are huge! My group of three ordered a small soup, pad thai, beef curry and pork w/lemongrass. All were delish and I really wanted to eat more but man, I was stuffed. We took two full containers to-go and barely put a dent in one of the dishes. Definitely come here with the fam for full enjoyment so you can taste a little of everything.
The restaurant has its own dedicated parking lot so it was easy to park, however getting in and out can be hard as there’s oncoming traffic in both directions.
We will be back!
everything was really good. This was our first time at this location and we’re happy to see the same waitress from the Campbell location.
She remembered us, and we were all happy and ordered Pad Prik Khing,
Massaman, and pineapple fried rice.
Everything was as good as expected and the green beans were excellent!
Nice chill, easy place with great, friendly service.
Plus it’s always good to hear the chefs having a good time cooking!
Good quantity. Roti and curries are a must try
Muy rico
Good Food and Good Service.
Incorrect order picked up.
Guests eating here beware, we ate once last month and paid by credit card. This month they swiped your money again without permission. Be careful, it's a place without credit!
Absolutely delicious food great service and fairly priced.
Great curries and other options. Really glad they’ve opened a spot in Milpitas.
Yes! Food was fresh and yummy. They are in a new location on Main St. It is clean and fresh in there. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Fav places to go in Milpitas.
Ordered immediately courtesy efficient serving portion for pad thai were unbelievable. I ordered two shrimp and two chicken could feed 8 versus 4. Place clean and delightful inside. Will be back to dine in. I highly recommend giving them an opportunity to serve your family and friends. Truly tasteful dishes, sauce was heavy maybe go little lighter on sauce to taste every bit of goodness. Enjoy!
Liked the food. First order without any issues. Good choice for vegetarian food.
Super underrated place for what it is! Staff was quick to help and were also very generous. Portions were great and the restaurant's interior was clean.
Very good Thai green curt
Excellent tasty food !!
Food was delicious. A bit on the pricey side, as many dishes have an additional cost to add protein above and beyond the initial menu price - so be prepared for that.
Very good food. Huge portions! Friendly staff.
This is their second location. Opened a few months ago...Welcome to Milpitas. The first one is in Campbell.
Thaibodia Bistro is not a traditional Thai restaurant. It's more of a Thai, and Cambodian fusion along with traditional dishes as well. The portions are on the generous side, definitely bring an appetite. The staff is friendly and efficient. The venue had a lot of open space, especially in the middle. I'm guessing they will fill it up with more seats once they start getting busier.
Some delicious Southeast Asian eats:
~ C5 - SALAW MACHU KTISS - 4.5/5
"A Cambodian style stew: sign me up! Love meself some Cambodian food. So many ingredients in here! Tasty, lots flavor...a good balance of everything. Not overpowering in any way. I did think the Chicken was a bit overcooked though.
~ FIVE FLAVOR - 4/5
This is more of an Asian fusion dish. So Orange...Slightly Sweet to start, but then the spices start to kick it. You can taste a variety of spices. While it gave me the spice sweats, it didn't linger and wasn't overly spicy. I ordered this dish Medium.
~ GARLIC BUTTER - 4.5/5
One of their Signature Chicken dishes. A lot going on here, its a hearty dish. I recommend a side, rice or noodles to compliment this one. Also make sour to eat it when it's warm and crispy. This is one dish you can't let sit...unless you're a fan of soggy chicken.
Got the 3 courses menu special for $29.99.
-Green curry with chicken and eggplant
-Lemongrass Chicken
-Pad thai with chicken
Food was good and portions weren't small. Food was ready at scheduled time and warm on pickup.
