Disappointing Thai Food Experience

The meal was a letdown. The food was cold, and the taste was far from what I anticipated. Flavors were bland, and overall, the dish lacked the authentic Thai taste I was hoping for. A truly disappointing experience. Not recommended.

Absolutely the most disgusting food I have ever tasted at any mall in the US. The shrimp was so cold, dry and chewy that seemed like leftovers of the day before. The chicken was so stringy and viscous. I had to throw everythubg away after a few bites. Now I know why almost no one stops by this place. I was lucky enough for not getting food poisoned. Please avoid this place!

This restaurant is part of the Great Mall's Food Court, so don't expect cuisine here. It has regular Noodles/Fried Rice combos with Salads, Chicken, Fish, and Shrimp. Everything tastes good and the quantity is suffecient at the given price point. We prefer Combo option here better than some of the upscale restaurants, and since it's inside the mall, it makes us quick and decent option after long hours of shopping.

Excellent food, good quality, quanity and budget frienly. I really like this restaurant. The food is excellent, and they serve generous portions for the price. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is good. If you're on a budget and want a quality meal, this is a great place to go.

I don't know about this restaurant chain but this specific one at Great Mall is amazing. The food and staff behavior both are awesome. I have been to the one at Santa Clara Westfield Valleyfair mall and that is so so bad. I don't understand how this one is so good and that one is so bad. Just 10-12$ for a full meal and the yellow chicken curry is better than many places that charge 20$ for just the curry.

Best thing to eat here is Fried rice, spicy veg noodles, fried shrimp is my favorite and have ordered each and every time went there. Spicy chicken is also good.
They will also provide forks and also chopsticks.

I like eating here whenever I come to the Great Mall for work or just to shop around. Ruby Thai Kitchen is one of my favorite eateries in the mall. I love coming to eat there. My favorite dish is the Mango Chicken

I bought a drink for $3.01. I had four ones. The cashier accepted $3 instead of holding up the line or making a fuss. It may seem like not a big deal for some people, but for me it is a greatly nice gesture and I wish more businesses applied this sort of common sense. Thank you.

As a firs timer I found the staff to be helpful and the food great... Will be back for sure

The food was terrible, even for mall food. Super greasy, and smothered in too much sauce. The pad thai did not taste like pad Thai, it was sweet and gross. Pricing was reasonable, rice was decent.

Like other people in the reviews say, this place has an extremely rude old lady with no original Thai cuisine dishes.

I rarely give reviews but this is exceptional. This is the worst pad Thai I’ve ever tasted. Went to Thailand recently and even the pad thai on the sidewalk cannot compete on this. How can you call it pad thai if it’s just long yellow ribbons of stuff with extra plastic flavor. Unacceptable, never again. I should give minus one thousand over 5 star if it’s applicable.

If you didn't order from Ruby Thai, then the cashier won't serve you anything. My companion asked for a cup of water and the cashier preferred he bought something beforehand. We already bought lunch from a different restaurant and thought asking for a cup of water from Ruby Thai would be ok, but turns out you should pay first. I've tried Ruby Thai before and it wasn't that great. The food was too greasy and salty.

As a vegetarian, this food at this place is great! I usually get half pad Thai, half fried rice and a side of egg plant tofu. They claim that there are no eggs or meat in any of those items, awesome!!

So why the two stars? The lady that rang me up was unbelievable rude. I asked her for a couple of extra sriracha packets, and she absolutely through a fit, saying they only give one and I don't need more. She said, "are you serious!!?" with a very disgusted and disturbed face. I was baffled. Over two sriracha packets? Come on lady.

I'll probably go back, but as far as reviews go, two stars it is.
