Elevated BYOB joint with gold & colorful accents & Asian decor, focusing on Asian fusion recipes.
This used to be our family’s favorite restaurant for many years . Unfortunately, we will not be dining here that often any more . They have increased their prices way too much . I order papaya salad and vegan spring rolls for take out for lunch and pay $40 for these two items . Mind you those are all vegan dishes with no cooking involved- raw . This is absolutely unacceptable! $17 for a vegan spring rolls with tofu ! And $20 for papaya salad , vegan no shrimp . There is no justification for this . I understand that prices have increased overall , but please be reasonable.
The Golden Triangle was a yummy restaurant specializing in Thai and other Far Eastern cuisines and offers a vibrant dining experience. During our visit, we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes. of dishes. We savored the crisp papaya salad, succulent chicken skewers, creamy green avocado curry, and the fiery Tiwanese chicken, which featured their homemade hot sauce. While all the dishes were impressive, they were served simultaneously, making it slightly overwhelming to manage all at once.
Although the service was somewhat slow, the staff were genuinely friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, The Golden Triangle provides a pleasant setting with excellent food, making it a commendable choice for those in search of authentic flavors from the Far East.
We had the Pad See Ew with prawns and the Grilled Salmon in Banana Leaf. I enjoyed the salmon much more—it was very tasty and flavorful, and the sauce that came with it was excellent. The Pad See Ew was good, but not the best I've had. We also tried the Thai lemongrass drink; it was too sweet for me, but my husband loved it.
The service was good, and the server was nice and friendly. The decor was interesting as well.
One suggestion to the owner: the washroom could use some improvement. The sink was quite small, and the distance between the tap and the sink was too short, making it a bit awkward to wash hands comfortably.
Service needs to be improved! Two people handling all the tables were clearly insufficient. We were not given Napkins from start to end. The waiters had to be called for every small thing. Food was good though - khao soi and drunken noodles both were as expected. They don't hv corkage fee, you can bring your wine and enjoy the ambience.
🌱 Must try Thai restaurant ! Though slightly on the expensive side, the portion and taste makes up for it !
✨They have a beautiful aesthetically pleasing Asian Thailand decor with their waiters also dressed in traditional attire. Seating is both indoors and outdoors.
💖There are two menus - The green one has only vegetarian dishes (includes egg) and a mixed menu which had meat etc.
✨The dishes are wide ranged from soups and noodles to rice dishes and wok stir fries!
🌱 Tried their Cashew Nut and Mango Fired Stir fry 🥭 The dish has an option to either add Veggies only / Fresh Tofu / Fried Tofu / Veggies + Tofu. I loved the combo of mangoes, cashew nuts and raisins in it ❤️
However, they had very little cashew nuts in it, funny how the name of the dish highlights cashew nuts. 🙂
It doesn’t come with a side of rice , so that’s extra !
🌯 Also tried the Fried Taro and Vegetable Roll under the appetizers , loved the presentation and the taste of this 🫶 ITS SO COLORFUL and comes dipped in sauce, had like 8 pieces decent size.
Definitely would like to come back again! 💕
Amazing good and amazing service. Beyond impressed with the dishes. The tofu is a more acquired taste but worth a try to share with the table. The server was also very honest about how it would taste. We were ordering a dish and she told us that we may not like it as it is more acquired and we changed what we ordered and went with her recommendation which was amazing.
I can't say enough about how consistently the food has been good here. There is a whole separate menu options just for vegetarians. So many choices. Drunken noodles and fried rice are very good and flavorful. Fresh spring rolls are a delight to order. This time we tried the taiwanese bamboo shoot dish from Chef's recommendation section, and as mentioned, its for those who can take in very spicy food. I loved it and kept going in for more, but my husband couldn't eat beyond couple bites.
Overall a great choice for vegetarian food!!!
I absolutely adore this restaurant! We're regular patrons here, and it's become our go-to spot for dinner. What's truly wonderful about this place is that it's never too crowded, allowing for a peaceful dining experience. Their vegetarian menu is top-notch, and it offers a delightful variety.
I can't help but have a few favorite dishes that I always order: the Coconut Milk Soup is incredibly comforting, the Pad Thai is a flavor explosion, and the Mix Vegetables are so fresh and satisfying. But, oh, the Crab Cream Avocado Wontons! They are a must-try and an absolute delight.
The service is always dependable and courteous, which adds to the overall dining experience. All in all, this restaurant has found a special place in my heart, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
My family and I had a fantastic time at Golden Triangle Thai Cuisine. The food was excellent, and the service was wonderful. Our meal started with delightful appetizers like crispy spring rolls and chicken satay. We also enjoyed a refreshing papaya salad that was both flavorful and perfectly balanced. The Tom Yum soup was a standout, offering a perfect blend of spicy, sour, and savory flavors. For the main courses, the pad Thai and green curry were bursting with authentic flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring a memorable dining experience. While the prices were a bit high, the quality and experience made it worth it. We highly recommend Golden Triangle Thai Cuisine for an outstanding Thai dining experience.
Spicy, yummy food. Cozy, tasteful ambience. Great service. And somehow getting a table isn't hard either. Perfect combination.
Food was amazing, staff could have been friendlier

Great food, loved the Thai- Myanmar spicy pork. There was nothing from Laos in the menu even though the name says the golden triangle
Great Thai food. Soup, noodles, apps all consistently great. Always enjoybyhe food here
The guy in that hotel was rude. Didn’t take the order properly. He didn’t offer to give the right menu card and also he asked us to give more tip. Over all I have never had this kind of worst experience in a restaurant.
Worst service I have seen. A guy in that shop told us you're not welcome here anymore. I asked him why for that He said only people who are putting more than 15% tip are welcomed here. If you're not putting 15% tip pls order from home. Rude behavior !
A myriad of vegetarian options for Chinese - Thai - Malaysian - Singapore cuisine. Loaded menu in meat, fish, chicken preparation as well.
Vegetables in Panang curry were HUGE. Looked like they just skipped the cutting process. Service pretty unfriendly.
Not worth the high prices they charge. Much better restaurants on the same street.
Sorry Golden triangle! Pretty disappointing

Best Thai food in Los Gatos. Amazing food and flavors. Great service and environment. Probably the best Thai food I have had in California.
Five stars all the way! This place has the best tasting everything 😋
Done here frequently and have never had a bad meal. Small little cute place with great food and atmosphere.
Family friendly . Consistently great food. Good service especially when they are not overwhelmed. Love that it’s byob so you can grab great wine next door
Food was delicious. As others stated the Pad Thai is amazing but the appetizers and green curry were superb too.
I wish the staff were a bit more friendly and welcoming. They didn’t engage, smile or checked to see if everything is ok. They were mostly inside the restaurant.
The best cook in town! We have been coming here for a while and every dish is such an amazing experience!!! I can highly recommend the green papaya salad, the ginger salad, the green curry. Anything you order is superbly cooked.

Great food and service. Loved their vegetarian options. One request to the restaurant , please keep paper takeout boxes instead of only plastic.
Phenomenal. New favorite restaurant by far. Thank you thank you! Everything was literally sublime.
The food seemed to be a super set of Burmese, Thai and Laotian cuisine and tasted quite good but didn't quite "pop" for those accustomed to the Asian palate. Extensive vegetarian menu so a huge plus. Service was average.

Not sure if there is a better one in the area.
I recommend. Big time. :)
Ambiance, service and food was very good.. We had roti pan, spicy eggplant and fried rice.. my wife wanted the rice to be spicy but wasn't up to her spiciness (ordered 1 level less than the hottest spice level)
Went back again after a couple of years and everything still remains the same.. Excellent ambiance, service and food.. this time the spice level was perfect

Excellent Khao Soi.
They have a separate veg menu too

The food was the best
This place does not check their food before preparing it. Me and my husband went there a few weeks ago at around 3:30pm, thought we tried this place in the area. We ordered spinach salad, it was served wilted and some pieces were slimy. They did not even offer any alternatives salad. Was not happy at all.
Not every Thai restaurant has Khao soi and harder still to find it here that reminds me of Northern Thailand but I think they pretty much nail it here. Everything is so fresh and delicious I have had almost their whole menu and keep coming back it's so good.
The food was delicious, though the presentations were different than expected. Only reason it isnt five stars for me is simply because it is making the Thai dishes too fancy. That is most likely a product of Los Gatos though.
We really liked the food. It was flavorful and great vegetarian options. Highly recommend the golden triangle speciality and noodle soup.
I made a reservation through Google Assist and was glad I did. This restaurant was popular & become extremely busy. The staff was very friendly from the moment we entered & throughout our entire dinner. Food arrived quickly. We ordered The Udon noodle dish with prawns, Green Curry with chicken, brown rice & a side of steamed vegetables. Everything was served hot & was very fresh. They offer several different heat levels. Ours was a perfect heat. Food was full of flavor. All dishes were nicely presented. We didn’t order appetizers but wished we had because they looked so amazing. We felt the portions were just right & reasonably priced. The curries don’t automatically come with rice which is unusual but we still feel it was priced right for the food, service & quality. This would be our “go to” restaurant if we lived there. Highly recommend!
Very nice service, food is a little too salty

Overall a great choice for vegetarian food!!!
This is our favorite Thai place, it is not cheap but the food is awesome and the portions are good.
Amazing authentic food, soo good and great portions!! Can get it as spicy as you can handle.. and you can bring in your own alcohol?!? (Encouragedh
We, a family of 4 adults and a toddler stopped by Golden Triangle( Los Gatos ) this evening to grab a quick bite before heading home. We had been out all day and it was raining, we just decided to spend some time together at the restaurant. Let me start off by saying that we've been here multiple times and have never really had any issues. We have almost always enjoyed the food and the ambience. Not sure what went wrong yesterday. When we entered the restaurant and asked for a table, the staff at the entrance asked if he had a reservation ( we did not know we needed one, we've never really had to make one in the past), and we said we didn't. She was polite and did let us know that the table she was willing to offer was reserved for another party that was coming in an hour later and that we would have to leave by then. We agreed and she seated us. We sensed some irritation when we asked for a high chair for my toddler but we just brushed it aside as we knew that they were busy and were probably in a rush, we were provided one nonetheless. Next, I asked another hostess if there was a baby diaper changing station in the restroom and she snapped back with "What changing station? I repeated my question with more clarity , this time around she just responded with "No! Just a restroom!" with some amount of irritation which again, I didn't think much of. She handed out the menu and repeated "you don't have too much time to order, ok?" The hostess that checked us in came back to take our orders and we did let her know that we were ready to place an order for our toddler and that we would be ready in a couple of mins to order main course for the adults. She got upset and started rushing us and said "ok no, I was clear that we have only one hour for you , ok? You have to order soon" and just then my 2.5 year old daughter reached out to shake her hand and said "Hello, nice to meet you!" (I have a chatty toddler and she was just happy to be at the restaurant), she withdrew her hand in annoyance and walked away and said that we would have to decide and that she would return in a few mins to take our order. This attitude, is something that I do not appreciate. I'm not expecting every person out there to oblige and to reciprocate to friendly attitude from a toddler , but she needn't have reacted the way she did and we did not have to be reminded every 5 mins that there was a countdown. If they were super busy, they could have told us straight up that they're not able to accommodate us, we would have taken a to-go. We, anyways were prepared to pack the rest of our meal closer to 7pm and head out in case we weren't done by then. All, I want to say is that we aren't paying less just because we have no reservation and do not have to feel obligated to anybody for "accommodating" us! Overall, the food was good but the service was pretty bad! Rude staff! I don't feel motivated to return here!
The servant was very cold and was not helpful. The food is so so. We ordered 3 dishes: specialty, pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was just ok.
Great food!! Expensive and usually busy.
Great food but bad service.
It's just ok. It's got all the usual in it's genre - the food presentation, pricey menu, default vegetarian with all meat and rice extra.
Taste - I guess this was typical too.
I ordered spicy Yakitabi noodles with Beef cubes.
It was unbearably *sweet*.
I asked if they can make it - or any other dish - without sugar, and the answer was an emphatic No. The waitress even suggested that I should cook at home if I want food without added sugar.
Appreciate the honesty.
But at this point, any restaurant that can't even make a single dish without *sugar* in it is not something I'll visit again.
What's worse is I had ordered *hot*!
In fact, I found this place by searching for "Spicy Food near me".
Also, another major pet peeve of mine is that they calculate TIP on the after-tax amount! Which is bonkers!
Docking a star for overcharging: miscalculating tip.
They are extremely slow in serving food. we got our first appetizer after an hour of placing order and main course after another hour. I don’t think I will ever visit this place again. While food was decent and had good portion sizes, getting a headache due to hunger is not worth it for me.
You can do BYOB which is the only plus point.
Best Thai restaurant in South Bay. Freshness of food, like papaya salad, soup. For vegetarian lot of choices
Their fresh sesame roll and Taiwanese bamboo shoot is worth trying on top of papaya salad and Tom Hominy soup
We encountered a rude server here.
We love dining at (and takeout) the Golden Triangle and have been going there for many years now. The food is consistently excellent and we have by now pretty much tried most dishes on their menu. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well, and the kitchen staff is very accommodating if you have any special requests. By now the wait staff recognizes us when we go there and always welcome us like family. The outdoor patio is a great addition and the $0 corkage is a definite plus. If you want great Thai food, excellent service and a great location this is the place to go. Remember to bring a bottle of your favorite wine if you want to enhance the experience.
The ambiance and the food is absolutely amazing. The service was not bad, but ok. We arrived at 9pm an hour before closing time. I wouldn't arrive at this time because they'll rush you to order and finish eating your food before closing time. Arrive at 8pm the latest unless your doing takeout.
I get it! Long day at work before closing time. You just want to go home, but that's the business your in is hospitality and service.
Also, gratuity is included at this restaurant, so technically you don't have to pay them tip since they'll automatically add it to your bill.
Soup was fine, rest is modest
The food was good and the service great... The ambience was so-so... The seating was cramped and we literally bumped into chairs behind us.
The three star is for the ridiculous price. One small bowl of coconut rice (one serving) costs $5.95! Even regular rice is $2.95. No rice comes with any of the dishes.
Great vibe and food! Highly recommend this place!
Slightly pricey but super tasty pad Thai!
My experience at Golden Triangle Cuisine Restaurant was extremely disappointing. Despite arriving well before their closing time, we were informed that the kitchen would be closing in just five minutes. Nevertheless, we managed to quickly place our order within two minutes. However, our expectations for a pleasant dining experience quickly evaporated.
Within a mere 20 minutes, we were presented with the bill, which only displayed the total amount without any itemized breakdown. We offered a tip and proceeded to pay, assuming that everything was in order. To our surprise, within the next five minutes, a staff member in a dress approached us once again, asking if we wanted boxes to pack our food. At this point, we were not even halfway through our meal, but it was evident that they were in a hurry to close.
It was only later that we realized we should have requested a customized bill, as we were unable to verify the calculations. Much to our dismay, upon closer inspection, we discovered that we had been charged for items we did not even order. Furthermore, an additional gratuity had been added to the bill without any prior notification. This meant that we ended up paying gratuity twice for such abysmal treatment.
To make matters worse, while I was in the process of packing our belongings, the same lady swiftly began clearing the table, as if rushing us to leave. This behavior was truly baffling and added to the overall feeling of rudeness and disrespect we experienced throughout our visit.
In summary, our experience at Golden Triangle Cuisine Restaurant was characterized by a lack of transparency, poor service, and an evident disregard for customer satisfaction. The rushed and careless attitude displayed by the staff, coupled with the unjustified charges, left us thoroughly disappointed. We will certainly not be returning to this establishment and cannot recommend it to others seeking an enjoyable dining experience.
I loved this place! The food was excellent, the service great and the place has a good vibe to it.
Great place for Asian fusion -- everything was good
We loved everything we had! The food was exceptional and so was the service. We ordered a bunch of apps and entrees and shared with the table - a great way to try many things! The avocado wontons and the chicken biryani top the list but everything was amazing! Will definitely visit again!
It’s a cute place, traditional ambience and wonderful staff.
I was here for dinner and the menu has a lot of great options. We started off crab wontons, chicken potstickers, sesame rolls and roti. Great presentation and good taste. Then we went for Taiwanese stir fry with bamboo shots and spicy fried rice. Both were delicious with fresh ingredients.
Definitely recommend it!
Delicious food combining flavors from southeast Asian countries.
The food is good but diminished by Servers that really don't want to be in the service industry. After my last few visits, it's time to pull the rip cord. Won't be going back.
Been there before but this time the food was not as good as previous visits. Stick with the appetizers, they are great.
Incredibly authentic and delicious cuisine that I am pleased to have eaten. Definitely will go again.
Cute place hidden in Los Gatos DT! Food was really tasty but the folks here made us hurry through our food since we entered an hour before closing time
Amazing food, everyone in our group liked the food.
I ordered a Thai curry and asked them to make it Thai spicy. The waiter asked me if I'm sure and I confirmed.
The food was delicious, but not spicy. I'm not sure what to do to get spicy food as a white guy, but this is true for almost every restaurant.
This place is absolutely amazing. I ate at the Golden Triangle for the first time today and it was all around AMAZING. The food (delicious). The staff (amazing and kind). The environment (clean and welcoming). 5+ stars.
I can't wait to go back!
Best Thai in the area
Delicioso y perfecta la atención
Great food n lovely ambiance. You will definitely enjoy if you are a Thai food lover.
Great food and pretty good service. No corkage fee rocks!
Good food and ambiance
We wanted to try a new Thai restaurant so we tried Golden Triangle Cuisine and we had a great experience.
First we sat outside for lunch but after we started to enjoy the delicious Tom Yum soup flies started to appear and then one dove into our soup! Yuk!
So we continued indoors, they gave us another bowl of soup. Which was great but im not sure if they just removed the fly or gave us a new serving. Ha ha anyway, we didn't touch it.
My wife tried the prawns with bamboo shoots in chili paste and I had the Pad Thai with prawns. We really enjoyed our choices. I especially like the smaller noodles used in my dish compared to the wider noodles.
We will definitely be returning to eat inside.
Exquisitely prepared Thai inspired cuisine. Great food. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Incredible flavors, wish we could visit again.
Excellent food and great service!
The environment and service were great. Food was authentic. Love it and would come again!
Delicious restaurant, lovely food presentation and delicious flavor. We visited with 2 other couples and loved the separate vegetarian menu. They do NOT have alcohol so you must bring your own bottles but they don't charge a corkage fee.
Good food. Just a bit too much fusion. Overall good
A true pity we're just driving through the area, I'd love to try more of their menu. Colorful inside decor with very comfortable seats, and the hostess was extremely lovely. I ordered the ginger & wood-ear mushroom fiery wok with fried tofu. It was wonderfully aromatic, and the amount of ginger was invigorating and refreshing without being overpowering. 🧡💛
Surprisingly good food! The name says "fusion" and the food really was blend of Thai and other cuisines. Couldn't tell that from menu descriptions though. Tilapia was amazing. So were scallops. BYOB - no corkage fee was another pleasant surprise.
Good quality
The food is absolutely top tier and delicious. Portions are very large and worth the amount you pay for. Very authentic, I always feel like I'm in Thailand again and the customer service is probably the best customer service in San Jose/ Los Gatos. The staff is always so friendly and generous and kind!!!
This place is cute and cozy.. the service was good.. for a Saturday evening, the waiters were attentive.. we had the vegetarian pot stickers which were ok.. have had better but the tofu/veggie drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice flavorful! We ordered medium spicy and I thought that was really good.. had a little bit of kick but that kinda added to the taste.. there pomegranate juice was good too! You can BYOB .. can always pick a bottle from the neighbors (rootstock wine bar) the price is a little on the higher side but the quantity is great for Sharing! :)
It is okay, maybe a bit overpriced for the quality. My noodles were a bit overcooked and the flavors were just good.
We visited for dinner and sat outside with our dog. The patio is small but cute! The food was amazing, both my husband and I are vegetarian and we were overwhelmed by the choices. Everything we ordered was delicious and the presentation was good too. Definitely recommend this place!
Delicious food but expensive.
I think the food here is great, the taste has been consistent over time as well. The staff is very courteous.
[They have a huge vegetarian menu]
Yummy food, nice presentation. Service was a little slow and they never checked on us after we got our food or refilled our water. Maybe short staffed. No corkage fee though which is nice and they opened our bottle of wine for us and brought us glasses.
I could eat the green curry avocado everyday for the rest of my life.
Best Thai in Los Gatos.
Really yummy food. Love the combination of choices between Thai Indian or Chinese cuisine. Fresh and tasty ingredients.
The best Thai we've found in the south bay so far. More Asian Fusion than pure Thai, but Thai flavor profile is really present. Dishes were very fragrant. Only minus was a very high salt level which removed from the freshness. Will definitely go back.
We used to have a favorite Thai place nearby but that closed. We have tried a bunch of places, but never found one nearly as good until we discovered Golden Triangle. The food is even better than our old favorite. Great Penang curry and pineapple fried rice. Nice atmosphere, too.
Good food and with loads of variety for vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
This became our regular. Most delicious Thai food ever and this time my colleague from office who joined me also acknowledged it's amazing food. To top this off he had a Thai spouse and eats Thai cuisine regularly at home and for him to say this Thai food was amazing... Just very good. Great customer service as always and we can bring our own wine 🙂🙂🙂🍷🍷🍷... That's like the best thing. I ate probably 6 different things in my last 3 visits and everything was perfect .. if u need spicy then you have to be specific as default is not spicy
Great menu options including full vegetarian menu!! Dishes tasted excellent, service was prompt and ambience was pleasing for a family dinner.
Today was the third time I went to this place. The quality of food wasn't even close to previous visit. Very poor quality the chicken was chewy and was not tasty.
Awesome food and service!
Plenty of delicious meat and vegetarian options! Would definitely come again.
Good food, good service 👌
You can get your alcohol and dine at this place. Staff is very friendly.
Incredible.
Very good and very large Thai cuisine. BYOB
Garlic noodle was flavorable. The other spicy noodle was blend. Also, the amount is not great. Medium spiciness is better than most Thai restaurant I have visited.
Very nice seating area, great food
We arrived early at the restaurant at 5:30PM. We got a table outside right away. They lighted up 2 heat lamps for us. It was nice during the cold Fall nights.
This restaurant has an extensive South and Southeast Asia food menu. Food and portion was good for what one will pay. Currently one can bring own wine without a corkage fee! Service can be slow at times since this is a family business. Just be patient.
Do pay attention street signs where you plan to park. Some side streets require permits after 5PM. If our friends didn’t pay attention and got a $52 ticket.
Delicious Asian fusion in down town Los Gatos with cozy inside seating and few outside tables(a bit on the side though).
Fine crevice pleasing customers with accommodating any needs.
Rich and flavorful coconut soup can easily be split between two customers (a bit overpriced); Lao Tom Sabb Soup with chicken reminded of authentic Tom Yam (a bit on the salty side); avocado prawns had a very distinct marinade calling to continue eating it; basil fried rice was something different for a change. Thai tea was a bit overstuffed with the half&half, even after blending.
Overall experience pleasant.
Thank you.
EXCELLENT friendly service. The pineapple fried rice is amazing. Also the yellow curry and Tai bamboo shoot were really flavorful! Outside dining with heaters available!
We love this place especially because they have great vegetarian options. The ambience is also very nice
Great service! Felt like they really appreciated our business. Delicious food! Just be ready to buy your alcohol next door - they let you bring it over.
Excellent food and service! Highly recommended.
nice presentation but took a bit too long to get all meals
One of best thai food restaurants in town! Loved the taste, presentation and the super friendly staff :)
