Food was delicious but not as good as my original spot down the street with the V. But it was close to it. Be careful on the chili because it is hot going in and worst going out. Had the soup. Which was great and big portion. The Chowmein was good as well and not to greasy. The fried rice was really really good and the Thai Tea did not disappoint. If your in the area or if your usual spot has a long line. Try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Servers also didn’t want to get our drinks when we asked multiple times. I only gave 2 stars because Thai tea ice coffee was good.

Every time I come to this restaurant there’s this lady with a bowl haircut that is rude whenever you ask her for assistance. It started when me when my mother in law came to this location and they charged her a service fee of $20 and when she paid for it she saw in the receipt and when she told them about it they just said “sorry for the charge it was a mistake in the system but we won’t be able to refund you” and there were many times this happened when that short lady with a bowl haircut would happen. The last straw was when we had placed an order for our food and they maid the mistake of not putting an order for my BBQ beef. When I asked politely if they knew how long the order for the beef was gonna take they said they didn’t put it in but they’ll bring out. We finished eating and waited for about 20min after we finished but nothing came out so when I went to ask the short lady with the bowl hair cut she said “you have to wait since you just ordered.” In a very rude tone. I was shocked but kept it cool and politely asked do you know an estimated time. She said no “I don’t know it’s gonna take a long time go sit down”basically screaming at me. I just said okay I just want to cancel it thank you and just sat down waiting for the recipe to pay and leave. When they bring the food and I said no I canceled it because she said it was gonna take a long time. Then she came back and told me to confront me about the food I told her she was being rude the way she was talking to us and she said “well if you don’t like it leave and don’t come back just pay and leave” she even put her hands together and told us to never come back and to leave humiliating us and herself the way she was acting. If you guys to come here be careful with the short lady with the bowl hair cut because she puts fees in your recipe or she’ll blow up on you if you ask for help.

I was seated in a booth that stunk, smelled like a bum had been sleeping there. After I asked to move, I watched as the hostess seated a family of four in the same booth, despite at least ten open booths/tables. The complete lack of caring was unbelievable. I'll never go back.

I been eating this food for many years but unfortunately it is has been a couple times now that their food is not as good. Their portions are lessening each time I go. On top of that, one of their workers Gabriel is the worst. He does not know how to provide customer service and has the worst attitude. Extremely unprofessional and it is often unfortunately. This place deserves better than him.

I came here for first time. Everything was great.

Been dining and ordering take out in this establishment for years now since i live in the area. Every category has been declining as time passes.. customer service was non existent today. 3 orders of chow mein being $70.00.. food was bland. Will not return again. I'll take my business some place else.

Be careful in that place the food is recycled and you get cockroaches and you get a bad experience in the dishes because the people in charge of the place are not responsible. I do not recommend this place 👎

I have been coming to this place for awhile and I don't know if new staff don't like black or multi racial but I was treated bad.
They sat me under an a/c took 15 minutes to ask what my order was then since my food was at risk of being cold fast I ate and waited to get anyone's attention for a check and box for the remainder of my food. I had to walk to the counter . When I returned my food was gone as the bus person threw my food away. Worst experience ever and I been a regular customer for over 10 years ! They replaced the food that was trashed but it doesn't take away the way I was treated. It shouldn't matter if it's a holiday or not . I was the only person getting waited on slowly or not at all. If you black or look black stay away . You'll do better at the Chinese restaurant not far away on the other side of jons

Unprofessional waitress. The waitress who sat us was ok. But the one who took the order and served us just does not know how to do customer services, offensive and especially very defensive. The owner should offer training to waiters and waitresses before letting them serve the customers.
In American culture, it is important to answer the question before ellaborating your answer and especially do not take the customer's questions as you are being offended. They ask you so that they can clarify the menu and get exactly the foods they want.
I had been living in Thailand for years and found out that typical Thais are very defensive. That is the way the kids were raised. Most of the things become punitive. That makes them a very defensive person.
The problem is that they bring this into their work without even being aware of it.
This is the very reason that they don't normally answer your question directly but try to go around the bush. So they can get away with it if they answer it wrong.

My experience with that particular waitress, she just could not answer a simple question if the vegetable on their menu equivalent to another name. She replied, "no one has asked that question before", instead of getting help from other servers if she does not know the answer.

Training how to do customer service right might resolve this problem.

The food is somewhat appealed to us.

Food was very tasty, but service was very slow. One dish came out, then half an hour passed, then the rest over the course of 15 minutes or so. Staff was friendly and prices are good, but don't go if you're in a hurry.

Great Thailand food.

The food is very good. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. The people that work there are extremely RUDE!!! They argue back with the customers. My boyfriend ordered his mom a COFFEE never did we ask for an ICED COFFEE so I told that to the rude waitress and she kept pointing at my boyfriend saying how he had asked for coffee in which I replied we never asked for iced coffee. Another problem that they have is when we ask them for plastic utensils, never had we had a problem at another restaurant but in this restaurant they take it so offensive, the rude unwelcoming waitress picked the utensils that we didn't want to use took it to the back and slammed them. This is when we decided enough is enough, we had bad service before but since the food is very good that is why we kept going back.

Last week I had asked the waiter what type of sauce did they have because I had forgotten my favorite sauce. The waiter continued to gossip around with his other co-workers and made me feel uncomfortable! Then today on March 1st I wanted to order again from this place because I like eating from here and they suddenly recognized my face, when last week they said they have a lot of people coming in and out of this place and that they won’t remember anyone so I was surprised that they recognized me. They proceeded to make me feel uncomfortable and discriminated when all their staff members came out of their way to stop what they’re doing just to come out and see who I was. This was the worst thing that has ever happened to me because us as customers should never be treated this way when we are the ones who help their business more than anything. Without us there is no business ! The waiters are careless and very impolite!

Great food decently priced. Service was wonderful. Ordered a pad Thai and it was very filling and although not as flavorful as some others I have had, the hot sauces provided brought the flavor up perfectly. In addition, the dish was served with raw bean sprouts and cilantro which I was very happy about. Was happy with my decision to come here

Pad See Ew was just ok because it was rather dry. Could have used a little more sauce and seasoning. The fried rice and BBQ chicken special was pretty good with the BBQ chicken being the standout. Service was friendly. Overall it's closer to 4 stars but the Pad See Ew was the bummer.

Kept on giving them a chance but between old steak in my rain fall salad and disgusting dirty shrimp that falls apart like a paste , it all proves that whoever is in charge of the kitchen is no longer good at their job and should let someone else take over. Food gets worst by the day and servers act like their are heart surgeons who are so busy resolving a world crisis. Always running around with 0 customer skills , dropping the food and turning around, without ever checking on the table to see if we needed anything.
Quality dropped horribly and prices get higher. The other location also served me raw food and the tables are sticky and dirty .

Authentic Thai food, open till late. Delicious Thai food with lots of variety of choices. Highly recommended.

Whenever I feel like having Thai food, Yai's on Vermont is my go-to place. Their dishes are very flavorful, seasonings are on point and reasonably priced. A plus factor is they have a very large parking lot. Went there during dinner rush and as happy as I was that business is thriving, my selfish self was not as it took a long time for my orders to arrive and they were more than 10 minutes apart. They were still delicious though. I highly recommend this place.

My favorite Thai place in Hollywood/Silver Lake. Food is excellent! We've been coming for years and it's consistently good. I don't think I'd drive across town but it's way better food than many in Thai town.
Larb, curries, and pepper garlic are always a must
along with pad thai or pad see ew noodles. Additionally we'll try something else to spice it up from their extensive menu. Mostly get take out but will eat there every once in a while for the funky no nonsense atmosphere It's quite a mix! Latino families, hospital workers, and everything in between.
We even hosted my daughters HS graduation dinner there.

The waiter service is very good, the problem is that the food does not have that Thai flavor, which is so rich, this time I think I owe the flavor.
