A good Thai restaurant with a few vegetarian/vegan options.
Google recommended this place as a Vegan restaurant, but it only has a few Vegan options on the menu.
Enjoyed the Tom-Kha soup bowl for the family. Soup is well made and very tasty though it felt like it was watered down a little.
The Red Curry with white rice is pretty good tasting. Enjoyed both the dishes asking with the authentic Thai Milk Tea. It's really rare to see real authentic and non-Americanized Thai milk tea nowadays. Glad to have a good tasting Thai milk tea.
The service is very genuine, courteous and friendly.
The place is small with only four tables inside and a couple of makeshift tables outside. The furniture and memorabilia reminds me of older and bygone times. It's even decorated with a real Vespa scooter itself. Pretty cool!!!
Quaint cafe. Super cozy and perfect for small parties. We got the last inside table and were served quickly (there are only 6 small tables inside and 2 outside). Ordered the satay chicken and coconut shrimp for appetizers. Came out quick and hot. The massaman curry and yellow curry dishes were the best I've had. Dishes imcluded rice. Service was fast and friendly. There were only 2 people working, but that didn't stop the quality or speed with which we got our food. Would definitely recommend.
Best Thai in LA!! This is a beautiful, petite, family owned restaurant. The food and drinks are authentically delicious. I’ve had a little bit of everything more than once. I enjoy taking a trip across town to pick up the food and say thank you to the family in person. If you live in town or are just visiting, this is the perfect dinner date spot, that also serves a great take-home meal.
A tiny restaurant. Owners are very sweet. Green chicken curry, shrimp vegetable medley were good however i would not recommend the barbecue chicken. Rubbery and dry and comes with only a tiny bit of hot and sour sauce. Definitely not good. Hope they do something about that or take it off the menu as it really doesn’t fit. I would recommend this restaurant but not this chicken plate.
This place is quite the hidden gem.
The atmosphere is quaint, limited seating, as well as parking, so plan accordingly because the place does get busy.
Service was first class, our server was very knowledgeable and kind. Provided great recommendations and super attentive.
The food is amazing . Was told that their dishes are all made from scratch and you can definitely tell they were. The chicken dumplings were amazing and the main dishes were very good. The spice levels were just right not too much not too little. I had the panang curry with beef and the beef was very tender and the curry sauce was delicious.
Overall I highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for good Thai food.
We had 10 people over and everyone kept asking me where I got the food, they loved it!
Neighborhood gem!
This little spot serves some of the best authentic Thai food in LA. Their Isaan sausage is without comparison. The naam tok, the Green and Yellow curries are some of the best I've ever had.
A very cute place with delicious and affordable thai food! 😋 a great place for a date since it feels very intimate.
Very delicious Thai food and I loved the service
My favorite Thai restaurant in all of LA. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming.
Local Thai place. Very affordable and stands out among all the other ones on Westwood. Really easy for pick up & nice to dine in, as well.

duck fried rice still good since 20 years ago
Terrible food terrible service Very dirty restaurant dirty floor, dirty table disgusting food, disgusting people working there I do not recommend this place to no one

Very good Thai food. This restaurant enjoys an excellent price-quality ratio.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in LA. I highly recommend ordering the kapaow with ground chicken and the massaman curry. The curry has braised beef which is really tender and very favorable. The place is really small with only a few tables but has an amazing, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend checking this place out.
This place was great! I got the yellow curry and my mom got the pad Thai. Spices were perfect, food was fresh, place was clean, and the staff was very nice. We would go back!
Cute and quaint. Definitely a vibe. Owner is super sweet and very attentive. Authentic experience.
Toooooo good. Pad see ew, pad thai, yellow curry, and mango sticky rice were amazing!
I had the Pad-See-Ew (flat rice noodles stir-fried with egg in sweet soy sauce and Chinese broccoli), which was delicious. Their Thai iced tea is also refreshing. The service is friendly, and it appears family-owned. Prices are super reasonable. Although the restaurant is small, with only about 4-5 tables inside and a couple of tables outside, and the parking lot is tiny with limited spaces, it's worth the visit. The name "Fresh" is well represented by the food quality. Despite not living near Westwood, I'll be coming back again whenever I'm in the area.
Holy smokes my wife and I loved this place. It is literally a whole in the wall, but they have done so much with their tiny space. So friendly, and experienced the best slow roast beef panang curry we have ever had. Spicy noodle were on point, and fresh rolls were delicious too. Just go, don't think anymore!

Great food, a pleasant and cozy atmosphere, good service, and a good cost. Definitely worth checking out.
Foods ok but the lady up front has the nastiest attitude! I changed my mind and wanted to eat my food there instead of take out and she rolled her eyes and didn’t say a word to me. I then asked for silverware and she acted like it was such an inconvenience. I told her she had a bad attitude and she smirked. Such a shame because I liked this place but will no longer eat here
Delicious. Highly knowledgeable about gluten-free options.
This is excellent Thai restaurant. I will be back.
Delicious food, cute vibe, and attentive service. Four of us had the coconut shrimp, pineapple curry with pork, guay teow tom yum, the pad kee mao with chicken, and the guay teow ped. We will definitely be back.
A very quaint place with authentic food! I had the pad see ew and the portion was a little small, though it was still a good deal for the price.
Ordered to go over the phone was great, but the pickup wasn't that smooth. It looked like there's only me who came for to-go at that moment, so the lady at the counter greeted me with my name right away, and handed me the receipts to sign and pay. However, I had to spot my order myself, I then asked if I can have chopstick, she said "well, there's already fork!" and unwillingly gave me chopstick.
The Pad See Ew is a little bit too salty to my taste.
Palm juice to get your taste buds flowing. Tom Yum soup with a side of rice to add/dunk inside it. Padwoon sen, pad see ew as the main dish with choice of protein. Thank me later.
Incredibly nice staff, let us order late very late into the night and were very understanding.
The people here are so nice! We showed up very late and they were gracious about taking our order. Then, we ordered a Thai Iced Tea when they had already shut down the card machine and we didn’t have cash, so she just gave it to us for free. Amazing place, would come again for sure!!
Phenomenal food! Fantastic service. The curries were amazing.
We needed some fast takeout and they certainly delivered that. We got the drunken noodles and some fried rice. It was good, but it lacked a bit of the complexity of flavor that I've had at other thai places. But overall good spot for good service and reasonable prices if you are in the area
Easy quick flavorful Thai, perfect for a Sunday afternoon late lunch. Excellent really nice service. Spicy medium so let them know if you want less heat.
Really good food

Very cramped and bad service. Dishes didn't look that clean. Water had stuff in them. Food was decent. Don't recommend if you don't like bad service or cramped spaces and tables.
Super cute spot with insanely good Thai food. I highly recommend the Panang curry with beef
Amazing food. Go for the Tiger. Go for the Tom Yum w/ shrimp. Spicy noodles da bomb. Will be back.
This place is such a hidden gem! The food is delicious, full of variety, and is reasonably priced. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food and the staff are extremely friendly. The decore is the cherry on top! Definitely recommend.
Amazing food. Feels home cooked and we feel always very welcome every time we go (been going there for a few years now)
One of my favorite restaurants for take out in the area. The coconut shrimp and Tom kha are some great of my all time favorites. Their curries and noodle dishes also never disappoint!
Delicious thai food in an eclectically decorated restaurant served with love. The owner is so nice that I feel like I'm visiting an aunt who cooks really well. Only downside is that parking can be a challenge and seating is limited but the food is well worth any hassle - especially the green papaya salad and curry.
3.5 *** is more appropriate. Decent food. Friendly service. Good neighborhood Thai restaurant. Will order take out again.
Nice cozy small restaurant, most likely family owned, amazing food and the Thai iced tea was the best. Excellent service. Wish we lived close by to this place, would go every chance we got.
Eh... not great. Got the yellow curry. Curry was watery. Potato was undercooked. Sauce not that tasty. Price was expensive for what it was
Service is very bad , sitting area not clean
Really nice little place, friendly and very quick service, and great food! We found it accidentally and did not regret
I’ve ordered the pad kee mao multiple times and specifically confirmed that it didn’t have fish or oyster sauce - I was impressed that they did this because this is a big issue at Thai restaurants. Today I found out that they have been adding oyster sauce to the noodles the whole time despite telling me that they weren’t. Try at your own risk as a vegetarian.
Very good food
My absolute favorite Thai place . Tom Yum soup and Larb salad are my faves but everything I’ve had here is excellent. The service is impeccable and the parking is easy . If I could give them more stars I would . Highly recommend
Simply very very unfriendly. I understand why some reviews were bad. The woman appeared to be the owner, not very pleasant. I will definitely not going back.
The food here is always great! My favorite is the yellow curry and my partner loves the padse eew. We also always get the crab Rangoon which is delicious.
I call in for take out. The place is tiny but they are always fast and nice when I go in to pick up my order. Parking is kinda crazy, it's a super tiny lot with metered parking on Westwood.
Definitely recommend and will continue to come back for more, the Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice are also must haves!

We had Tom Yum and Pad See Ew. Food was delicious. Great service. Cute place. Will definitely return to try other dishes.
Best massaman curry I’ve ever eaten.
I have ordered from here for delivery many times over the past few years and the food has always been excellent! Yesterday, I finally had the privilege of visiting in person. Thai Fresh Cafe has such a welcoming and cozy vibe. There are only a few tables but the service is quick and friendly. The parking isnt ideal but what can you expect in the Westwood area. I love this place and it is the best Thai food I've found since being in LA!
Everything seemed really fresh and good quality. The chicken was fresh, you can tell by the texture and it wasn't buried in sauce to hide it.
Restaurant is so cute! Thai tea with almond milk was so good!!! Food is amazing!! Authentic Thai food
These reviews have to be fake. Says it's a place for curry. I ordered a classic chicken curry and it was the most bland and watery curry I've ever had, had to be the worst Thai curry imaginable. No way this is the highest ranked Thai in the area...
I had Penang curry. The beef was cooked to perfection and the juice was very flavorful.
They make you sit at the table that they want together with other diners, that you don't even know, without the slightest privacy, and if you tell them I want this table they don't give it to you for that detail and their way of responding gets 1 star
Te hacen sentarte en la mesa que ellos quieren junto a otros comensales, que ni conoces, sin la menor privacidad, y si les dice quiero esta mesa no te la dan por ese detalle y su manera de responder obtienen 1 estrella
I have never left a google review before because I am lazy, but I had to for Thai Fresh Cafe!!
My partner and I went to dinner here on Mothers Day. The server was such a kind woman and the food was delicious. We ordered fresh spring rolls which they made with tofu for us the basil in them was so refreshing. We ordered the thai ice tea and they had an almond milk option which was really tasty! I had the crab noodles which I had never tried before and really enjoyed it. We also liked the decorations and the cozy peaceful space.
On our way out I left my purse on the back of the chair and we live in San Luis Obispo, so after calling the restaurant, the owner was so kind and mailed it to me!
Over all such a wonderful experience I had to leave a review!!
Came here on a Saturday night. They were busy but the service is just way out of line bad. And having a busy day is not enough to justify it. WORST experience EVER. Will not come again.
Ordered a pork toro and the lady said it’ll take a long time and recommend me to switch to another dish. Instead of giving me time to rethink my dish, she was just pushing me to decide anything random and better be fast. She stood beside me and impolitely ask me to decide every 5 second with strong attitudes and flipped eyes.
Recommend to come If you seek sufferings. Otherwise I suggest you don’t!
You guys have to be joking in these reviews when you say this is the best Thai in west LA… the name is so ironically funny because this was far from fresh; quite dry and flavorless in fact. I was so excited because of all the Yelp praise, but what a disappointment. Order was also wrong and we didn’t receive the one item we were most excited about. I understand going for a quick bite, but for $60 for three items, the quality should be significantly better than what we received.
I’m first time dinning in this restaurant because it’s 4.6 in Google. I noticed there’s some bad review about worse service for this Thai restaurant. I assume food can make up everything. However, it’s way worse than I can imaging. We were group of 8 people. First of all, she didn’t give us water after we sat down for awhile. When we asked for water, she asked me back with impatient tone: for everyone?! Excuse me? Should we share a cup of water in your restaurant? Secondary, we want to share food so we can try everything. When we ask her how big of the portion, she looked at me inexplicably and said just for one person. I understand it’s for one persons. But I’m wondering how big of the noodle so we should order 2 or 3 for sharing. I asked her nicely again with hand sign. Is good for one person like this size or bigger, smaller? She still said same thing: it’s good for one person. I was really speechless. Third, every time when she drop off food, she was just standing there and holding food. She’s waiting us to clean the table FOR HER. God, shouldn’t you clean the table before you delivery food out? We had 8 people to share soup. She just gave us 5 bowls. I guess this restaurant really want their customers to share setting. During the whole time, the service was talking to the kitchen, never ask us How’s everything. I hear she mention our order. I’m wondering was she talking us with kitchen. Seriously, I really want to leave if I was not with kids. They were too hungry. Food was actually just ok. It was not bad. But I’ll never come back again bc service was terrible. At the end our bill comes out $165 and everyone were still hungry. The lady also mandatory charged us 18%.
The Khao Soy Jai was amazing! Never has something like that before. The waitress recommended it and she was incredibly nice the whole time too.
This is the best Thai food I've ever had! The owner is so friendly, the food is always hot and delicious, and service is quick. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu: pad Thai, pad kee mao, panang curry, and the crab rangoons are all amazing! Leaving LA, this is the place I will miss the most!
Really bad service and small portion. Flavor is decent but will never go again
Love this place! Amazing food, friendly service, and if you eat at the restaurant, it's a lovely vibe for a date night or something. Reasonably priced and wonderful tasting.
This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Seriously. The red curry is my favorite. Can’t go wrong.
Amazing curry, and rice dishes in general. Service is consistently good, and the place itself is a quiet, comfy, homey vibe.
Delicious food! Excellent service! 5*
Fresh and delicious every time!
This place has a horrible service. The south Asian waitress was very nice in the beginning. Then she just shushed me when I and my friend were chatting which I believe I was not that loud. She also kept checking on us to see if we finished our meal and if we were ready to pay. She came to collect the check by using an excuse of serving us some water. Ironically, she didn’t even have my friend’s glass filled. It felt so terrible when she could have done this in a totally different way. It felt like we were so unwelcome in this restaurant.
I could give this place 0 star if I could. Don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious, but the service, especially the south asian lady with blond hair, was out-of-the-world rude.
She was friendly in the beginning, but her attitude flipped a total 180 degrees after she got her generous tips from us. Not only did her shush us from talking, she snatched the tip while we were still on the table. Then basically kicked us out by saying, “you’ve been here long enough! Can you guys leave now?”
Great Thai food in a cozy shop.
Super frisches und leckeres Essen in traditioneller Form.
this place is a gem. everything is great, but especially love the khao soy kai
Great food for very fair prices
It's very good and the atmosphere there, wow, it's very Horagareño
Adorable little Thai place with really good Thai food. Great ambiance and even better food.
If you don’t mind a bad attitude and dry personality then try this place. Portions are small but decent tasting. Bathroom not working and when you ask, where to go, they suggest gas station. I’m not going back.
I’ve been going to Thai Fresh for over a year now, and I have to say I’ve never been disappointed. I usually take it to go and eat it at work. It’s quickly become a favorite lunch option at my office!
My recommendations:
Pad Thai - You can’t go wrong with this. If you want to mix it up, then give the crab noodles a try. All their noodle dishes are large portions and very filling.
Panang Curry - This is by far my favorite curry at this location. The brisket is tender and the curry is creamy and packed with flavor. I like pairing this with roti or sticky rice.
Guay Teow Ped - I tried this one today and it was delicious. It’s a duck noodle soup with a sweet and savory broth.
The restaurant itself is small and intimate. Would not recommend going in a large group, but it’s great for a party of two.
If want a new Thai restaurant in your rotation, then Thai Fresh is worth a try!
Such good food and great service at a very reasonable price!
Great place, nice atmosphere and super friendly staff!
Excellent food! Our host was so kind and attentive. We sat outside at the cute little patio because the indoors was full, but we were served very quickly.
האוכל טוב (מנות קטנות) שיפודי חזה עוף היו לנו יבשים..
אווירה ביתית נחמדה .
Amazing food! Stellar service. The pad Thai is to die for!
Got food to go from here and it was sooo good. The pad Thai and khao soy were great and the crab Rangoon was good as well. Everyone there was really friendly and helpful as well. Will deff be my go-to from now on.
Thai bistro with tasteful food.
I give 5 stars for amazing service, but food I tried (I ordered 3 dishes) would only get 3-4 stars (on my taste).
The main dish, Kra Tiem with beef, was very over salted, I was not able to finish it. Tom Yum was good. Crab Rangoon was ok.
The waiter who worked that night was soo good, I really felt welcome. I appreciate his attentive service and he totally deserves 5 stars.
This cafe is really busy though, they are receiving to-go and delivery orders non stop. Parking is right in front, plenty of meter parking available on Westwood blvd.
Excellent
You will love the drunken noodles and the parang curry here. It’s so full of flavor and the staff here are very sweet.
Thai tea was authentic and tasted freshly brewed. Chicken Pad Thai was tasty, not the best I’ve ever had, but still delicious. Will try the yellow curry next
Not fancy but very good food!! Parking is pretty easy in the front or on Westwood Blvd. Great hours, delivery and friendly service. Thom kha soup saved our lives during covid and was the only thing we could taste. I also love the mango and sticky rice. 🥭 🍚
BEST PAD THAI EVER
The pad see ew is delicious and the inside atmosphere is so cozy, perfect for a night with friends or a date. Sweet spot!
The owner came to me and asked me my vaccination card. After I showed her my card, she stood for a moment and asked me my id. Just to make sure it’s my card actually. Felt really humiliating. I stayed for lunch, but wish I haven’t.
Very friendly and immediate service.
Was asked to show my vaccination card if I wanted to dine inside. I appreciate that. I didn't have mine with me at the time so I dined outside.
Attentive service and the Pad Thai was very tasty.
Very good prices for the area and great food--I loved the drunken noodles, fried rice, and curry. Pad thai wasn't the best thing on the table, but still not terrible. Staff are friendly and it's not impossible to find parking in the vicinity. If you live in the area, definitely consider coming here if you want Thai food. Also take note: it looks like it gets really busy for dine-in, so call ahead or expect to wait a bit for a table (the restaurant is small).
Went to the Thai Fresh Cafe yesterday October 19th, 2021 with one of my friends. Small location tucked away off Westwood Boulevard. Indoor and outdoor dining available in a casual setting. Food was very delicious with good portions and a good selection of rice, noodle and soup dishes among other items on the menu. Because of small parking lot parking can be a very limited but definitely worth a visit.
Very nice place, small and cozy. Good food and prices
Someone in the kitchen really knows sauces!
This is a cozy mom and pop place that really delivers on flavors and freshness. We were in the neighborhood and needed a quick place to eat. We googled best restaurants near me and found this place.
We ordered the papaya salad which was fresh and just the right amount of spice. We had the fresh rolls with rice paper and veggies inside. The accompanying house dipping sauce was terrific. Similar to a peanut sauce but better.
For the main course I had chicken and veggies in a light garlic sauce, which was super delicious. But the best dish was the Pad See Ew. Velvety noodles and such a rich and earthy savory sauce. Not drowning in it. Just well coated. Definitely felt like craveable food that warms your soul.
All of that for $50 total for the two of us. A great find!
One of the best pad thais I’ve ever eaten!
Small restaurant tucked in a small strip near UCLA. Parking is challenging but love their simple food, friendly service & cute venue. Green papaya salad and tom yum soup are especially good.
Great food, great service, and great ambiance! My family and I would come back to eat here again
Hungover and needing some grub, I ordered Thai fresh for delivery. The order came exactly when they said it would—everything was hot and well packaged. I had the pad thai, which was very good and a nice large portion. The bbq ribs were a little over sauced and on the sweet side. The duck on rice was simple but delicious. The coconut chicken soup was a little watery and the chicken was a little dry and chewy.
I would definitely order from here again—I’d just leave off the coconut chicken soup.
Great service. Great atmosphere. Great prices.
BY FAR the best Thai we’ve had in LA. We have frequented this location for 3+ years and honestly never had one bad thing to say. The food is prepared fresh and clean, even the takeout meals are well packaged and presented.
Favorites: Tom Yum Soup, Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, and of course Thai iced tea!
Good food by good people, try it.
Wow! This is exactly the type of restaurant that I love - a tucked away hole-in-the-wall place with amazing food.
We ordered the Chicken Satay, Beef Pad Thai and Panang Curry. When it was all done, I wanted to do it again. 11/10 would recommend!
Not many places to sit at the moment but it was late so they were able to accommodate.
Well charred and marinated steak. Sauce was a little too salty.
Nice bits of crab in the noodles.
great value . the green curry is very tasty
Ate lunch here.
Chicken satay was good but not exceptional—3⭐️s. A little oily and no grill flavor. Peanut sauce was different than the norm; am sure some people would love it.
Pad woonsen was better than good, but again not exceptional. Vegetables seemed slightly undercooked. Maybe 4 ⭐️ s
Pad Thai was maybe 3⭐️s. We left a bunch of it uneaten—not worth taking leftovers home.
Service was very friendly, but we did have to ask for some items twice.
The interior is very stylish and well done—5⭐️s
Great food. Pleasant staff. Try the crying tiger beef with sticky rice.
Was really excited to come here as the reviews are so high and consistent. Huge let down. Spicy noodles and pad see ew were indistinguishable. Easily some of the worst/laziest Thai food I’ve eaten in my life
The beef massaman curry was one of the best I’ve had in America. Surprising how good it was. About to order again. Rock on Thai Fresh.
Good flavor, but portions got small. I think they may have been running out of things that night but they should of said so. When I called to let them know after years of ordering, it was way too small , but they replied well that is how it is and we cant help you. Also charged alot more than menu said.
I had the Panang Curry and can say it was done very well. The curry was sweet and savory and had a great consistency -- not too thick. Its peanut aroma was pleasant and upfront without being overpowering. The beef was superb, both tender and infused with flavors. I had it served "Spicy," although I recommend having it "Thai Spicy" if you want more punch. Will certainly be going back to try more.
Really delicious and a great value. We loved the drunken noodles and beef jerky
I work downtown. And this is the best Thai place to eat at. It's fresh the Pad Thai is to die for. The dumping are delicious. Thai tea is on point I would of added a photo but I ated it to fast.
Lovely place. Great Service. I've had Thai food from all over the area and this place does it right.
Great food but super cheap owners. I paid for extra mushrooms, and they literally took the mushrooms and cut them in half making it seem like there were more mushrooms. Nice try. And then all the noodle dishes have a ton of noodles and very little protein and veggies.
Amazing atmosphere and sweet attention plus excellent food! Everything is consistently delicious! (Only dish I don't order is the pad thai - it's not bad, just not how I like mine)
Really nice ambiance and even better pumpkin curry!
This small cafe has excellent service, a charming atmosphere, tasty food, and to top it off - the price is very fair.
everything is amazing and it’s so cute and cozy
A cozy friendly restaurant with great staff. The food came pretty quickly and was very delicious! I ate here with my grandma and we both enjoyed our food. The portion amount of food was generous and it was so delightful to come here at night. The person who served us was super friendly and helpful for my grandma who had never had Thai food before. I usually don’t eat Thai food but this restaurant has changed my mind. I highly recommend.
Service and food is great! Red curry is 🔥
Lovely restaurant with a good selection and excellent service with a quaint atmosphere
So fking good - I tried all of their menu and so crazy how everything is on point. best thai food in west la hands down
Great service, warm reception and amazing food! Try the Penang Beef Massaman Curry - it's like the best pot roast ever and the best sweet coconut curry ever had a baby - I've never had anything like it before and it rocked!
Combination of quality and service makes this the best Thai restaurant in West LA.
