Established in 2006, Thai Corner Food Express brings authentic Thai flavors to the heart of Los Angeles. Using fresh, organic ingredients, they create delicious dishes, and have their own in-house sauce. We are located inside Mercado La Paloma, just across the street from the DMV.
A Thai Restaurant located in Mercado La Paloma (a warehouse-like community gathering spot in South Los Angeles with several restaurants, shops, and nonprofits). We came to this place yesterday to eat dinner. The inside of this place is more like a food court area like Haven City Market, Victoria Gardens Food Hall, etc. and they have plenty of seating arrangements. We ordered Pad Thai Chicken. Their service was good and we didn’t have to wait too long to get our food. The Pad Thai was average. It was like the typical Pad Thai that is served in the local Thai restaurants and was nothing special. The price was reasonable.
I have been coming for since 2019, great food all the time, always hits the spot!! Just ordered pad kee mow with chicken and its my new favorite. Order it spicy though!!!
How does this place have 4 stars?
Tom Kha Kai is $15. A giant bowl of boiling hot coconut milk… with a handful of sliced mushrooms and shredded chicken floating on top.
My friend started laughing when she watched me drink coconut milk in misery.
Why is this place even in Mercado La Paloma? For $15 in this economy? I could have gotten something bigger and better from Chitzen Itza… this is why I don’t try new things.
This was my previous go to for Thai food but today I was so disappointed. First they served me burnt Chicken Satay. The chicken was so thin. Seemed like they sliced the chicken on a meat slicer. My cashew chix cost $15 and was barely covering the bottom of the take out container. The taste was not the same. Spent $84 and will never go back! So disappointed!!
The red curry was SO flavorful and delicious. Perfect thing to warm you up on a cold day ❤️
keep coming back here ever since i had it for the first time. get the tom kha and pad thai.
Delicious
Kind and useful staff
Love their red curry…so flavorful
Best food, best service~
Good! Very friendly staff!
This place is great and has top tier service! Highly recommend the beef pad se ew and Thai tea
Chicken basil is the bomb!
This place is always good. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. You can't go wrong
.
太好吃了!來旅遊沒想到能吃到這麼好吃的餐廳

I haven’t been here since grad school but it’s just how I remember it fast and good. The plaza is a bit busier so hard with small kids but definitely fun.
place is beautiful. Food is amazing.
Great lively location and good food! Get variety for both meat and vege options as well.
great place
Best Thai food I’ve ate plus their teas are the best
Best Thai spot I’ve ever had

Love the fried rice and yellow curry, the lady is so nice: She gave me cash back for an order I didn’t get last time :D
Food was exceptional, from a USC student.
USED to be my go-to, as it has vegetarian and vegan options.
Theyve changed their recipes a lot- the yellow vegetable curry had loads of color and assorted veggies, now its thick chunks of potato and carrot... in a substantially smaller bowl.
Sigh.
Smaller servings, small price increase, and lower quality

Very nice staff.
Good food.
(When you go inside, it's in the very back right.)
Pad kee Mao was undercooked, soggy, and uninspired. My wife's pad thai we decent. Ok service and large portions.

Service was great. I ordered the calamari. They look like gigantic onion rings and very chewy. I was disappointed ported lunch specials. They were okay but we felt that they filled our plate more with rice than the proteins
Thai Corner Food Express has been the single most comforting food spot in the Exposition Park area (immediate USC area, for students). The Pad Kee Mow Kai Chicken with the 5 chili special house sauce makes my mouth water as I’m writing this. Troupes aside, if you’re looking for a serious and good place to EAT, this is the spot. To this day, I’ll sit down, play sudoku, and enjoy a lovely filling meal.
Mango sticky rice was good
The best Beef Pho ever🤤😋❤️ I like to take my kids there all the time. I definitely recommend
