Cozy Thai restaurant, serving variety of Thai food for over 30 years. Dine-in, Take Out or Delivery.
If you want tasty cooking in L.A. this hole-in-the-wall is delicious every time we go. It is great as a take out place too. Limited seating, but once you know the menu, you will keep coming back. Recipes taste the same everytime. Duck over white rice is my favorite. Ribs great and anything with BBQ pork is very tasty.
Siam Chan is the best! It’s our go to local takeout spot, the bang for buck is hard to beat in LA. Delicious well portioned food at a great price and lots of awesome lunch and dinner specials. Highly recommend!
Waited 30 min for take out order…
Best in the neighborhood!
Their pad see ew is awesome
The owner recommends to use their website to place the order. This way they save on fees.

Solid food, price and service. Total hole-in-the-wall. FYI the bathroom is in the back (it initially looks like they don’t have one). Will definitely be back here.
This review is for TAKE OUT. I came in person, placed an order and was told it would be 15 minutes and while I was sitting there I asked about the condiments and was offered to have them added to my order!
The loved the vegetarian fresh Summer Rolls with the peanut sauce. This comes in 2 pieces. I could of had 2 more! I took my photo after I ate half of one roll.
I also ordered the Larb Kai which I loved! The spicy, tangy chili dressing with the ground chicken is heaven! I should of ordered 2 of these! I finished it in just a few minutes!
My husband loved his Spicy Noodle with Chicken! He let me have one bite and the flavors were spicy unami good! He also ordered then Panang Curry with a large rice.
The staff is very polite and efficient. The restaurant interior minimal. There are places to sit down and eat, but it might feel a bit too cozy to sit down here if the restaurant was full with people.
I am craving more of this delicious food as I finish writing my review.
Always the best
It was fine. Requested modifications were ignored which was inconvenient. The assorted veggie stir fry was watery, no sauce to be found, and lacked a lot of flavor. Tasted like steamed veggies despite it being listed as coated in a garlic sauce. Yellow curry was decent but pretty watery.
The food is always tasty and the staff is friendly!
I placed an order by phone while I was driving keep in mind I don’t know the menu by memory but apparently the closing shift couldn’t take my order i had to look at the menu to explain but it seem like she didn’t want me to place the order when i got to the place it was empty and I understand she was ready to go home but I been going to this place for a very long time the food is amazing but this girl has absolutely no customer service I have never been so disappointed the worst part is it’s was empty in side and it was a phone order
But she just wanted to rushed home I even place the order before the kitchen was closing I went home and I just couldn’t enjoy my meal
Best pad thai In la!!!!!!!
Everything I've had here is delicious! My favorite is the beef curry 👌😋
Ordered food with uber. This is the worst thai food I've ever eaten in my life. Shrimp tasted like it was microwaved. Flavor was fishy and terrible. Curry we like water and tasted horrible. Don't order here ever. You'll thank me later!!
My favorite little spot for lunch
Always consistently good Thai food at such a reasonable price! I'm a regular and I swear they've only been getting better with time.
The amount of food for $18 is just feeding a little kid they use to be much better. Unbelievable and the woman I think is the owner is so rude .
The food is delicious. The untidy atmosphere disappeared after the first bite. However, it would be nice if they straightened up ALL of their artwork and secured it with a little double sided sticky tape AND cleaned the water stains on the walls under the cooler unit. Pride of ownership is visual as well as good food! Again, delicious food!
SO GOOOOOOOD best pad thai ever probably. Good portions and good prices
I picked up the chili mint leaves chicken lunch special. It’s a good amount for ~$10. The egg roll is half the size of what you usually get but I think it may be rolled in house. I asked for extra spicy and it was def not spicy, I think Tabasco is hotter. The mid disappointing part of it came with shredded chicken instead of ground chicken. I was only told when I came in to pick up that ground chicken is used when you order chili mint leaves chicken Ala cart.
Great lunch and dinner specials.
Today February 2nd I placed an order online through Chow Now and the system said that my order would be ready at 7:33pm. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:44 and my order wasn’t even started yet. The guy at the front of the restaurant rude and with no customer service at all, said he didn’t have my order in the system. I gave him all the information and even told him that I had already been charged. He kept saying that they didn’t get my order. By 7:51pm he said that he had found the order in the computer and until then, they started preparing my food. People coming in and out getting their online orders and me still waiting, no courtesy offered by the people who work here at all. It’s a shame, I ordered from here figuring that I’d help a small business instead of ordering from somewhere else, but I learned my lesson never again ordering here!!
I live close by, and Siam Chan has been my favorite local eatery for 22 years. They have a wonderfully extensive menu and every offer is delicious. Their food is always fresh and tasty, and the entire staff is polite and attentive.
Best Thai food I've had in Los Angeles and the cost is unbeatable. We got two entrees and desert for under $35. Midwest pricing on the Westside.
Not a posh place, but decent option if you are in the neighborhood for takeout or quick bite. Staff is always friendly and service is fast.
Very popular
Always had a nice experience at Siam Chan
The whole family love this place , reasonable price , great food!
The food here is excellent, the place is really small with about eight tables, but pleasant. There's a little wait sometimes for ordering. All in all highly recommended.
The other day I had their dinner special for $15 which included a Thai iced tea, an entree, a salad and shrimp fried rice with a couple large shrimps. Incredible deal and extremely tasty.
Ave of 3.5 stars. They're good at the majority of dishes we've had now, going back a few years... I mean don't expect tons from the location, it's not Thai town, and the relatively low cost is a definite factor.
Great hidden gem off of Santa Monica blvd.
Best iPad Thai!!! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals.
best papaya salad ive ever had, i like it spicy but not too spicy and they perfectly delivered. amazing pad thai and the mummy shrimp were delicious. their tea and boba were good, the boba was hard and chewy which i like but maybe its not everyones favorite!
lots of people came in for takeout which is always a good sign
would love to come again
This is my go to for Thai food. The portions are large and food is great. It also reheats well. The satay is great for kids and comes with peanut sauce that's pretty flavorful. I add a little 🌶️ oil to mine 👍 the cream cheese wontons are a big hit with kids as well.
Great Thai food in a cozy spot! Will have to come back to try other dishes. We saw nonstop takeout while we ate there

The best Thai food I ever had!! I was surprised with the portion the give you wish is a lot for what you pay for!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
The cheapest Thai place in LA with top class, high quality Thai food, and a very large diverse menu that expands in a bit into Chinese areas. On top of a delicious Pad Thai, often get the duck curry, Hainan chicken rice, and rice with egg custard. Pad Thai is like $12.95 for comparison which is well below other Thai restaurants.
I would recommend that place to everyone.
Very kind people, very lovely restaurant, great pricing!
Good price, good quality and good service
If you're a rude customer just stay away from this neighborhood gem.
Authentic Thai food. Reasonable prices. Large portions. And quick service. My go to for local Thai food. Highly recommend trying Siam Chan
Lied about operating hours. They don’t open until 11pm
First time using the delivery option on Yelp. Delivery was on time, but the food could have been better. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I ordered the Vegetable Pad See Ew, and my husband got the Panang Curry. Both dishes could have been better. The Pad See Ew was dry and tasteless. The Panang curry was more of a soup than a curry; too bad they should have mentioned it on their menu.
Two stars because the delivery was on time.
I did delivery and my order came 15 minutes late but listen, I paid $13 for an entire tray of shrimp fried rice, two egg rolls, a chicken red curry, and a Thai iced tea. That is absolutely insane in West LA. The food was a 4/5 in terms of taste but the value in this economy, truly unbelievable.
Pretty good Thai food, the Thai salad with peanut butter dressing is very good
great food. great prices. always fast.
The food is really good. But it’s a small spaced-restaurant and is usually packed with customers and food delivery drivers picking up food. There’s only one waiter serving the food and getting the check for you so you gotta be really patient.
Good😋😋 👍
Very disappointed in the Shrimp Pad Thai. Definitely skimping on the shrimp, by giving you chicken and really no shrimp.
Great Thai food in the neighborhood, good portions and fast service. The place is small, a lot of ppl do pick up, but every time I go there are ppl dining in too.
10/10 cheap and delicious
Good food, prompt and friendly staff. Small restaurant though, always good to call in advance to reserve a table if you want to dine in.
It's delicious!
this is my favorite place to get #Combination fried rice #food
I've been to several other places local but this place sets ay #1 on my list of favorite places to order carryout
Great service great food is one of my favorites restaurants for the past 20 yrs
This little place is great. HUGE menu with lots of choices. I have tried the food here for years. Great soups and wonderful food. Worth checking out.
My friend and I just ordered this randomly on DoorDash because we were feeling thai food and I swear this meal just blew my face off it was honestly SO GOOD!!!! I want to order it one hundred more times. Unreal. Amazing. 100/10 recommend!
I loved panang curry so much.
Ordered the Red Curry with Shrimp. It was served Luke warm.
Great duck over rice at a reasonable price. The food tastes good and the environment is friendly. The place is really small though and not suitable for large groups.
Ordered for pickup. Order is currently 20 mins late and they keep telling me it’s getting packaged
Tasty very
Very helpful and accommodating the service. The food is fantastic.
For the Westside, their prices are very reasonable and they don't skimp on portions. One of the best Crab fried rice (get extra crab for $4 it's worth it) in LA and cheaper than most too. Their curries (Panang is my fav) is really good. It's a hole in the wall place, no frills, just good food, friendly staff, which makes it hard to beat.
Unprofessional staff, We were unable to answer the questions we asked. Totally unsatisfied.
Great place for the food! The atmosphere is adequate but I’m here for eating not lounging. I’d recommend this any day for take out Thai food. I recommend Mee-Krob for sure. The seasoning is great and noodles light and airy. I’d give 5 stars for the food. 3 for the place so it gets a 4. 5 star for food!!
Great tasting, authentic Thai food at a great price! Wonderful service. Highly recommended
The food is good but the place too small
Food was good nice variety
Should be a one-dollar sign Thai restaurant-comparing to other Thai restaurants in west LA. It’s $39 total pre-tip including two entree, one salad and one drink. A few tables available for dine in, many do takeouts. The green Curry we ordered was good, but the rice was too soft. Rad-Na was a little too gluey and the papaya salad was on the relatively spicy side of the spectrum.
Great food ,good prices
Do not get shocked by the appearance of this place. The food, the portions, la ge selection, the price and the service will amaze you. Come regularly.
Favorite Thai place on the west side. Hidden gem. Authentic and can’t beat the price. The pad see ewe is amazing
Everything is great. Great service and food. This is a great place. We enjoyed the pad thai shrimp, beef satay and eggplant chicken.
Excellent Thai food. All fresh ingredients and very tasty.
Foods way too sweet. Just too much sugar. Didn’t like it. Sorry.
Best value in the neighborhood. Can't go wrong with the pad thai here.
This place is so good and at such a good price for what you get! It's my go-to thai spot now!
Solid hole in the wall Thai place. Won't blow you mind, but the food is good and the selection is vast.
Person on the phone was helpful and nice got the cat fish in red chili sauce next I'll try the fried fish can't wait
Solid local Thai restaurant. Good food selections and is able to fire up your order in no time.
A great local Thai restaurant with a nice variety of delicious dishes.
I got the red curry and it was really good. The pricing was incredible. Can't think of another place in LA with such reasonable pricing for such good food. It has become my go-to place for Thai food
I ordered the Orange Chicken w/ Beef instead of chicken. Advertised as beef in an orange sauce. This was a lie. It was $15 for fried dough in a syrup. It was disgusting and I threw it away. I would not even feed this food to a dog.
Best Thai food in the west ,fair price
Excellent soup (Tom kha Gai), skewers, padthai ,etc etc. Takeout wait time was average for the items ordered. Pricing is attractive and competitive. Staff are professional and attentive.
Foods and iced tea tasted very good, where the fresh ingredients could actually be tasted and were not masked by overbearing flavor or thick sauce. Impressed and looking forward to trying curry dishes next time.
Great portion sizes for price. Good food. Love getting the fried bananas
