Chilli Thai brings authentic Thai flavors to Los Angeles. Their menu features dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, perfect for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
Today, I had the chance to try Thai food at Chilly Thai in LA. I was truly impressed by the flavors of the dishes. I highly recommend ordering the Pad Thai—it’s absolutely delicious! And the mango sticky rice? Simply the best! The service was outstanding, and I will definitely be coming back for more.
This is a great little Thai restaurant that I've been going to for years. I recently ordered Panang Curry beef, with a side of brown rice. I got the chicken satay with peanut sauce as an appetizer. The chicken satay was juicy and tender. The Panang beef was also excellent. Check out my photos. This place gives you large portions of food, and I had to take half of the meal home. Special kudos to the manager, Eli, who stopped by my table to ask how the meal was going. My waitress, Fern, was also very friendly and provided perfect service. This is a tasty place to visit before or after seeing a movie at the Landmark Theaters. You get a lot of value for your dollar.
So glad I discovered this Thai food gem during my walking adventure on the west side of LA on a Monday night within an hour of closing time.
I was drawn in to a quaint atmosphere with calm music playing, wall images of Buddhist deities, and a few other guest patrons dining. Pat was my server. She was very hospitable answering questions as well as accommodating my order requests.
The Veggie Pad Thai was the truly the best I’ve ever experienced. One of the main reasons is the sauce which was a perfect blend on the palate that tasted delicious! Previous experience usually has too much peanut and or coconut. This one was absolute perfection along with the noodles with quality taste and texture! The fresh vegetables of generous proportion and balance of serving made for a hearty meal. I ordered a chamomile tea to complement in which they serve Celestial Seasonings brand. For a $15 price point in this current time period well worth the value for such healthy food and presentation.
A humble and friendly staff who enjoy what they do and work hard to make for a superb guest and dining experience. Highly recommend and will return when I’m back in the area.
Good food mediocre service.
Been coming here for years, one of the best Thai places in LA, it never let's me down, I always order spicy mint chicken.
I came to visit Los Angeles. Came in here to eat, The food was wonderful and the service was great.
The chicken sate was inedible… It was like chewing rubber and the peanut sauce was just one big lump of goop with tons of oil on top of it. I’ve never seen a restaurant that could mess up Chicken Sate
Very nice place, service 100/10 and food 200/10. 🤩
Great food and friendly service! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and everything was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a visit!

Must try! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This place is incredible... You must try the pad thai 🤤

This my first time having thi food and a super good experience. The people where super nice
Great Thai food, very warm and friendly staff! I will keep coming back many times!
10/10 Experience!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Thai restaurant, and it exceeded all my expectations. I had the Chilli Thai Chicken, and my girlfriend ordered the Pad Thai. Both dishes were absolutely delicious—bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, and the ambiance made our meal even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
Been going there a lo.g time good food good service

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and they were easy about substitutions. Spicy basil eggplant/tofu and Panang beef curry were excellent.
This is my favorite Thai on the Westside. Always fresh and delicious whether we do take out or eat in. Light veggies and juicy meat. Most importantly it’s not heavy so even when eating a noodle or rice dish you are satisfied but not in a coma. At lunch there is nice jazz on the speakers and the all day special for 12.50 is an amazing deal with tons of choices and affordable add ons for extra meat or brown rice. Nice people and always gives that neighborhood vibe that is impossible to get anymore in LA.
So much basil in seafood soup was horrible. Tom Yum wanna be.
Imitation crab was the main ingredient in the soup.
Not coming back
The best friendly customer service 👌 and the food is delicious!! and the desert sticky mango rice. I just love this place super clean "
Love this place! The waitress is so nice to us. Me and my family love coming here to eat. I really recommend this restaurant for those that live near W Pico 😀
Very good food
I ordered catering for my birthday party from here and the food was amazing and came in large portion sizes for a great price. I ordered through ezCater which was also a very good service. They accommodated my party's peanut and sesame allergies and vegan diet preferences. The delivery of the catering was professional and seamless. Huge relief off my shoulders to be able to provide delicious food for a party with a lot of dietary restrictions and not have to spend the whole day cooking
I ordered spicy noodles and it was delicious - right amount of spice, amazing flavours. One plate is sufficient for two people. I highly recommend this place for its food, service and ambience.
Great little spot for amazing Thai food. Tyler and I enjoyed both of our meals and felt the quality of food was top notch.
I got spicy noodles with chicken. The spice was peppery and hot without being harsh, and it had a great balance of other flavors. The portion was VERY generous and reasonable price. My server was really attentive and nice too.
The vibe inside is small, warm, comfortable. Overall a great, simple, chill place to get some hot noodles.
Chili Thai chicken was good
Food was not of high quality. Vegetables simply boiled. Too salty. They mixed our order.
The waitress is always really nice and the food is above average Thai. They sub the milk in the Thai Iced Tea for coconut milk which makes it even better 😋
Delicious food and generous portions. Only con is servers are not very friendly, but the food very good.
The Won Ton soup is outstanding.
I seriously miss this place. I ordered from Chilli Thai on a regular basis during the 20+ years I lived in their service area -- mostly delivery (they were very dependable and efficient), but occasionally I'd eat in or take out. Their spicy mint noodles dish was a personal favorite, along with the Chilli Thai Chicken and their Panang curry. It may not have the ambience of the more famous Thai restaurant down the street, but the food never disappointed. Now that I live overseas, in a city with just one mediocre Thai restaurant, I realize how easy it is to take a place like this for granted...
Very very good food
Poor service (and I was the only one dining in), mediocre food.
The server was apathetic and unenthusiastic.
I asked for my Spicy Noodles to be extra spicy, like Thailand spicy, and they were barely on the Scoville scale. I won’t be back.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Ordered 4 dishes and not one disappointed. 5 stars.
Not bad, but not great. Ordered chicken fingers for kids and also an order of lemon chicken. They came as the exact same dish, except for $2 more I got cut lemon added to the top of the lemon chicken order to make the breading soggy. No lemon sauce to be found as stated on the menu.
The place is cute, the service was friendly and the food was ready very fast! Hot, steamy and exactly what I hope for at a Thai restaurant! Two thumbs up! 👍
Love the Thai Papaya Salad!
I love their food. I've been their customer for 6 years.
Low quality food. Will not go back.
One of my Favorite Thai food place , clean and friendly staff
Great place to dine and enjoy a nice atmosphere. All the cutlery is Thai which gave it a cute twist. The food is delicious
Probably the worst pad thai I've ever had. Excellent service, since no one else was in the restaurant. The sauce is sickeningly sweet, with altogether too few bean sprouts or vegetables; almost all noodles.
Nose poreso no se avierto donde vivo
Our first time there and we loved it!
Soooo good! One of my favorite Thai places in LA.
Garbage all went into trash!!! Ordered duck it was days old hard as a rock
This is my absolute favorite place for Thai food when I am really craving Thai. Not a fancy place but they cook with love and you can taste it. At least it seems that way to me. Plus they are fast. Thank you Chili Thai!
Food is okay but the service is left wanting!
It was around the close time and the old lady server was hurrying us to finish food and get us us out of her place :D
Good food
Fantastic food!!!! Small, casual, neighborhood place, hadn't been in a while and even better than l remember!! Yum!!
Great food for a great price.
BEST THAI RESTAURANT IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY. HUGE PORTIONS, DELICIOUS FOOD, DECENT PRICING, AND THE BEST SERVICE OF ANY RESTAURANT EVER!!! PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR AND TRY THERE SPICY NOODLE AND CHILI THAI CHICKEN <3
Chilli Thai chicken. Eat that.
Delicious food and good prices. Looking forward to returning when on the west side.
It's a very small sit down restaurant, I order delivery more often than I actually visit. I normally order their BBQ chicken and most of the time is is juicy and wonderful, I have never been let down by the Pad Thai and food is always delivered hot!
The entire production crew loves the food there. We have a favorite waitress there that loves to gamble on Sports we always wish her luck
I ordered a spicy noodle here. Since i ordered it to go i cant tell complete experiance but my order came quite quickly and the service seems good. Only thing which i felt was the prices are little high.
Food was cold part of it too hot but most of it cold it was probably heat up in a cheap microwave
Love theyre Curries!
Excellent! Plus, Thai peanut sauce as a side is a must~
Curries were excellent, Pad Thai a bit to sweet for my tastes, but enjoyed overall.
Good Thai food.
The food was bland and unremarkable. They charged $1.50 for rice with a curry dish (a curry dish!), and the server was rude. That was my experience, I won't be going back.
Rant:
Just fix the cost of the rice into the gd price of the meal!!! I'd rather be charged $14 and have rice included with my meal than to be surprised with a charge I wasnt expecting at the end of my (what I thought to be) $12 meal. Especially when everyone KNOWS rice goes with curry. I didn't make the rules! Just fix it into your price!
Wonderful food, good portions, nice atmosphere, street parking. Recommend for a quick bite!
Delicious food... Great prices. Vegan options
I really enjoyed the spicy fried rice (with shrimp) that I got. Only issue I had with this place is the app I tried to use to order with was kind of trash. So I called in. Food was ready in less than 10 mins and only a short 5 min stroll from my job on Westwood. Everything my coworkers and I have gotten from here have been really good.
Delicious food!
Nice interior. Cream cheese rangoon app was gross but the red chicken curry hit the spot. A bit on the expensive side running $11.50ish out the door for a bowl of curry NO rice. Would go back in a pinch but I'll be looking for cheaper curry.
Quality food at reasonable prices, best pad kee mao in town, in my humble opinion lol.
Papaya salad was good; vegetarian salad was disgusting; spring rolls okay; SERVICE TERRIBLE
Awesome yummy food
The crab fried rice is amazing!! 🤤Super fast service!
My wife and I have been coming to chillC Thai for a couple of years already and we love this place the spicy noodle is the best
Poor service, mediocre food at best. Would not recommend this place.
The food is ok. I order chili thai chichen. As for the service I've been treated better, its like they would rather i not have come in. when i get my food, no fork, no napkins, no soy sauce, nothing. So i check "every time ". Yes i do go back. Like i said its not the food, its the service.
Had the Red Chicken Curry, and it was really good. My issue was that they serve the rice separately from the curry. It doesn't make a real difference in the price, but it's something to know ahead of time.
Always get the green curry and spicy noodles. Delicious but so spicy!! Dream of their food
Last time I ate here was 15 years ago at that time I had the Thai bbq chicken, it was ok.
I was in the area 2 weeks ago and remembered this place so I tried it again. This time I had the spicy seafood combination. It's like a stir- fry with shrimp, mussels, squid, imitation crab,carrots.. it's spicy It was $14.00 and change. It's extra if you want real crab. $1.00 more with rice.
It took care of my craving for now.
The people did not smile that much and were very grouchy when I showed them my nice trout. I hope that they will be nice next time.
Good taste for thai food
The food is quite awful here. The kitchen like most restaurants looks quite dirty, and the owners are so rude. Never going back again unfortunately.
Everything very good .great time with great food and good time . Thank you so much
Sardarjora
Good Thai food! I order delivery all the time from this place.
Average Thai
Food was mediocre and Waitress was unfriendly
Smelly forks. Bad food, and should not be called Thai food at all
This one best Thai food place in W Pico blvd. Lively ambience and owner is too friendly , suggests you on good food options to choose.
never go back ever agian
seem cheap but overprice. terrible service and terrible service!!
I love coming here with my husband after a long day of work. Very nice place
Overpriced Thai Food. The food was good. When we complained about the shrimp & Rice dish, manager just.scientists how.it is. 2 pieces of shrimp on a plate of shrimp & Rice. Pathetic. Mostly the service. Asked for napkins three times. Water 4 times. And Not cheap $$$$. I would avoid this place at all costs.
I've been coming here for years and they never dissappoint with their food. I love the Spicy Noodle extra spicy & Tom Yum Soup!
Very good..!
Best chichen pad Thai I've ever had.
I love this place! Been here twice already & counting :) Soups are sooo bomb!
Food is bad and service is terrible.
Ate at noon. Only person there. Waitress not too friendly. Portions seem small.
I love the curry... it's spicy and creamy and delicious!
Worth every penny...Chicken Pad Thai :)
