Visited Thai Garland on a whim—so glad we did! Our server, Tiffany, was absolutely the sweetest, and the food was magnificent. They were able to accommodate my order by veganizing the dishes, which I really appreciated. My mom and I both ate more than we should have because it was just that tasty! The cook even came out to check if everything was to our liking. Great service, super friendly staff! We’ve already been back and plan to go again this weekend. Also, I spent my whole life not knowing I was obsessed with pickled jalapeños… but now I know!

I was visiting the area for a two day training and wanted to find someplace close to my hotel. This place looked affordable and the food looked delicious. When I walked in, there was no waiting. My food was made fresh and served hot. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner. He told me the restaurant had only been open for two months. I saw that they put great care in the decor and the variety of food choices. it was also very clean. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some good Thai food at reasonable prices. There’s plenty of parking and the proprietors truly care about their restaurant and their customers.

The food was OK. I would prefer the potato in red curry can be softer and tastier. Food could be more favored.
The wait time was appropriate.
If I were dining, I prefer not to use disposable plates unless I was in Costco or food truck.
The server was attentive.
The overall experience was good but food could be improved.

Everything was so good and the chef/owner made everything to our liking. He is very open to feedback because he wants to make sure you love his food. He took the time to explain everything and listened to what we wanted and adjusted as necessary (made sure all the dishes I ordered were made vegetarian because sometimes they use oyster sauce in the dishes). I recommend asking for the fresh Thai chilies to make it spicy instead of the dry crushed pepper to add more flavor. That dessert was unexpectedly so good! I would come back to this family-owned restaurant for that alone. He explained that due to city regulations, he couldn’t get a sink bug enough and therefore had to use take-out and throwaway containers. I won’t dox him for that, but unfortunate for the environment. We got the: jungle curry (vegetarian), pad kee mow (vegetarian), pad see ew, pad Thai (vegetarian), stir fried vegetables, and the purple rice dessert. All delicious!

We ordered the Thai Sampler appetizer (a good collection of fried delights) and it was great. Then we ordered the Pad Thai and the Pad Ba Mee - both excellent.

This place is amazing! The service you receive here is excellent. The owner really takes care of his customers and cares about them. The food is here is simply the best. It is a must try and I promise you that you will be back for more!!

The food was delicious! The staff is very kind. We had the appetizer sampler, yellow curry and pad Thai. It was all very tasty. Clean atmosphere and bathrooms.

Was expensive and my wings were lukewarm. Not much flavor add all on the wings and the sauce was generic. Had a small cup of the seafood lemongrass curry soup it was amazing NGL. The people working there were nice enough in the restaurant seemed decently well kept. Pretty small on the inside but pretty typical of smaller Asian restaurants. The restaurant is to the left side of the grocery store how long the strip mall. GPS kept erroneously trying to take me to basically the front of the grocery store as my final destination for the restaurant. which was about 200 or 300 ft off the actual front of Thai Garland.
PS you may think be thinking to yourself that fried wings is a strange thing to get at a Thai restaurant but I'll have you know I've had some of the best wings I've ever had in my life at Thai restaurants so pretty much anytime I go to a new Thai restaurant that I haven't been to before I always give their wings a shot it kind of is like an unofficial gauge as to whether or not the restaurant is going to a new "go to" or a one and done type situation.

When we heard the owners were closing the location in Rockwall, my girlfriend and I were heartbroken because she stayed in Thailand for some time and when I took her there, she told me it was the first time she had Thai food in the US that actually tasted like Thai food and it was sooo delicious. Both of us were overjoyed when they opened this location.

Absolutely amazing! My fiance and I had the green curry and Kra Pao, and it was the best we've ever had. Wonderful food, and a cozy atmosphere. The owners are so friendly and are a joy to talk to. If you go, I suggest asking the chef on what dish he recommends that day. You can't go wrong!

The pho is fantastic, you won't find a better flavor anywhere else. The pad thai is delicious too. Can't go wrong here 5/5.

HIDDEN GEM ALERT!!! My partner and I look all over for good Thai food. This is the best pad thai and pad kee mao we've had in a long time.

Most pad thai dishes are just made with a generic peanut flavor, but theirs was wonderfully flavorful. Same goes for the pad kee mao, honestly.

Also always feels great to support a family business, which just made the meal all the sweeter. Highly recommend!

This place and the owners are great! They are a small family owned and operated business. This restaurant may have just opened, but I have been eating the owners food for years at another establishment and didn’t realize this was his place until we went there today! Their food is authentic and has such a great flavor. We loved the Tom Kha, Prik Pow, Crab Rangoons, Mango Sticky Rice, Thai Tea, and Curry! We will definitely be back to try more, but I know they will all be great. Their food is incredible in comparison to other Thai restaurants. I would definitely recommend!

I am not an expert on Thai food so, I have no foundation for comparison. But, I've stopped by a couple of times (Pad Thai and then Fried Rice) and both dishes were good. Maybe I try the curry next.

We're so happy there's a great Thai restaurant in our neighborhood. We had a party of 5, ordered the sampler appetizer and 4 entrees, which was plenty of food. It was all delicious and Noi came out to great us after our meal and offered ice cream to one of my daughters, because it was her birthday. Very good service and food, we'll definitely be going back.

We just ate there tonight . The service was fantastic and the Pad Thai was the best I ever had. It is their grand opening and I hope their business is a huge success.
