Small, stylish Thai cafe with classic dishes & a spiced-to-order assortment of Asian noodles.
Busy, but service is 5/5 and food 5/5.
First time here and had their new item Ribeye Khao Soi Ramen and my new favorite dish! Tender rib eye slices and egg noodles with Khao Soi sauce. Chicken appetizer was well seasoned and tender. Dessert was sticky rice mango, not too sweet but sweet enough with fresh cut mango. All 5/5! We got there around 7 pm and were promptly seated. 7:30 got really busy and people were waiting outside for seats. Definitely a must.
The best Pad Thai I've had in a long time! My family got the Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Larb, Fried Tofu, Tom Yum, and Seafood Fries Rice. All of it was delicious. The staff were so kind as well and answered any questions we had about the food
Delicious, I had the yellow curry (chicken & mild) and it was fantastic, kept me full. My husband had the shrimp fried rice, it's his favorite dish and it's safe to say that this resturaunt didn't disappoint, he liked it. The service was kind and quick. There is a restroom, the area is clean, the "outside" seating had pillows and cushions, very comfortable.
24Dec: I came here solo today. It's a rainy, cold morning and I wanted soup. Thai Boat Noodle Soup is perfect. Warm and spicy. So simple but full of flavor. They always treat you here like family.
Authentic tasting and dishes are prepared well and flavorful. One of my favorite is the Tom Hum Noodle Soup. The service is fantastic.
My aunt brought me here since she is a regular. She suggested we get Pad Thai, basil beef, spicy chicken, tofu fried rice and mango sticky rice. I also tried the Thai iced tea and it was so good. This place did not disappoint! Food was great and so was the service. I was also impressed at how clean and good the bathroom was. We ended up taking two orders of mango sticky rice to go. Will be coming back to try more dishes. Also updated the hours on google they changed dinner from 4 to 5pm.
Great food, the khao soi is great, but so it's everything else
Great authentic Thai food!
For regular degular Thai food, this place price gouges. We got chow mein, pad thai and curry and I’m not sure why it was $65. Nearly $8 for a large drink, $1.25 for a small ramekin of sauce, ONE DOLLAR FOR A TOGO CUP OF WATER. What?! We didn’t even get to-go chopsticks or napkins.
The food wasn’t anything special.
Service was ok we were seated promptly but they were very busy so not as attentive but understandable anyway. The food did not disappoint & I highly recommend the crab fried rice it was the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere else wow excellent job guys!

This is my favorite place to eat, not only Thai but any food. The attention is always nice and they even know what are we going to order now 🤗 they always make me feel like home!
I always order take out on my way home from work. Easy to order, staff r very friendly and the order is ready as promised. Our favorites r wonton noodle soup, Tom yum noodle soup. Papaya pad thai.
Came here to eat dinner with family and it was a terrible experience. My daughter who obviously is 11 months old squeals to communicate with her dad and I because she obviously cannot speak yet. In the middle of our meal, the waitress decides to tell us, "The couple left right now because your daughter she scream too much. So they move somewhere else. Just want to let you know."
First off, what do you all expect? She isnt even a toddler yet. This isn't a fancy restaurant. If your restaurant isn't family friendly, then put a placard out front saying so so that you don't get customers like us that has alot of mouths to feed.
Secondly, we were given our bill to pay once we've finished eating. We paid and she tried to hand my husband the change and he says to her, "Keep the change." and she proceeds to have the audacity to say, "Keep the change? This is not enough for us. This isn't 10-15%." My husband was already going to give more on top of that. What was left was probably $3 and a few cents. He asked her if she has change for $100 so she happily went to get that done. 1)She already assumed that was all we were going to give. 2) She literally demanded more money from us as their tip.
We are never coming again. Go to Sizzling Wok. The BEST Thai food AND employees and patrons are so nice! They are not greedy people and are very understanding people when it comes to kids.
We ordered:
Thai Boat Noodles, no flavor. Had to add pickled Jalapeños and the pickle juice for flavor.
Pad See Ew, very flavorful. I would order this again if the experience wasn't terrible.
Sprite, literally taste like they didn't clean their machine.
Thai Ice Tea, very basic.
Food is consistently excellent, the menu, while Thai focused, is quite diverse and exceptional. The kitchen listens to directions like the level of spiciness and the wait staff is the main reason I eat here once a week. A true neighborhood gem and a must try.
Worst customer service, if you don't check the bill they'll charge you 40% gratitude fee. The tom yum lemongrass soup with small noodle is great.
Great food. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had.
Very good pad thai!
Cute interior, sweet and attentive staff, food was amazing! The Tom Yo Soup and Lime Noodles were amazing!!!
The noodles were delicious. I love their sunny dining room in front. They let us talk a long time even after the lunch rush was well over.
Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 11.20 am employees were physically and verbally impolite and spoke in ways that were disrespectful to customers...No potential to perform duties!!
Very clean and delicious food.
Order some food to go. I asked the lady for the hot sauce they make there and she said no. She gave me them nasty hot sauce packets which and told me store policy says to go orders are only allowed packet sauces not the house chili sauce. I told her the packets wasn't that good and if I can just put some hot sauce they had there at the table on my food she then said no only for customers that eat there and then told me to not come back. Rude lady. Wouldn't have costed her nothing for me to just get some sauce that makes the food better.
Amazing Thai food, wife variety, balanced flavors, perfect spice scale (to me). Highly recommend the Khao Soi
Had quick Tom Ka shrimp soup. Clever seeving in full 2 cup pyrex measuring cup. Just go...look to have great lunch specials.
Is so delicious
Everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed the Thai boat noodle and Tom yum soup!! Will come back for more
The atmosphere is mature, relaxed and familiar almost like you were relaxing at home or at a grandmothers house before a holiday dinner or summer lunch. It's pleasant to say the least. And it's not pretending to be something it isn't. It is comfortable in its own skin. And the food is a fresh reminder that all who wonder aren't lost, that different is needed and in many ways the progression and change we need in life 😊 my recommendations would honestly be anything on the menu but my "gotos" are any variety of "Pad see Ew" and "Pad Thai" the yellow curry as well every time I order these three without question.
Food was delicious!! 😋 The service was excellent! We will be back soon.
Food is excellent, big menu
Not bad definitely will be back and great service
Always my favorite Thai when visiting the area on business.
Chairs were great...
Best Thai I’ve had in Long Beach. Drunken Noodles are on point every time. Friendly staff and quick service.
Great quality food, big servings, great customer service, pretty good price, highly recommended.
Thoroughly examine your food before consuming.
Found a hair in my drunken noodle and my chicken satay was undercooked. When I told the waiter, he showed 0 remorse and just said "oh" and walked away. I didn't want to escalate it, just let them know they need to cook it 5-10 seconds longer, but he genuinely didn't care and dismissed us. Lucky we caught the undercooked chicken. The hair was at the bottom of our noodle so we ate a lot of it already before noticing. Waiter only comped us for one of the 2 dishes. Never coming back.
Excellent food..love it.
Best Pad Thai I've had in a long time!!
The atrium is such a cute and bright space. Super friendly staff giving prompt service.
I had the chicken khao soi-spicy served at the right hot temperature. The creamy sauce from the coconut milk was mildly-sweet; very delicious. The amount of noodle and chicken served with the curry was a very generous amount.
Drunken noodles are awesome. Also nice sunroom dining, jazzy music, and convenient to Long Beach antique market
Great Thai Food. Food is flavorful and service was excellent
Eventually we will all be full. Greatest meal yet to come. Seconds please..
Large portions, good thai food. We chose to come here since they make the Pad-Kra-Pow with ground chicken and properly carmelize the noodles in pad-se-sew.
Small place, but huge flavor! Really great tasting food.
Amazing, the Tom yum is phenom!
I always like to come here for their Thai Boat Noodles. It's pretty much been my go to Thai spot ever since I tried it back in 2015. Service and food has always been consistent over the years which is kinda rare these days ever since COVID. Lately I've been hooked on their Drunken Noodle dish and spice is right when requested for me. :) I couldn't decide this time so I decided to order both.
Came in on a Sunday and surprisingly it wasn’t too busy and there was no wait! The soup was really tasty, but I thought it was odd that it came in a glass measuring cup lol that was a bit much for me. The chicken satay was really good and served as a great appetizer. The shrimp were a bit tough, so that was a little downer. Overall, I would come back but I’d try other dishes to see how they hold up!
We went here fairly often when we lived nearby. Since we moved away, we still eat here when we are in the area. My favorite is Papaya Pad Thai - their spin on a classic Thai dish. Here are some photo from our last visit: Tom Yum Noodle Soup and Thai Boat Noodle Soup. They both are as authentic as we can get here in the States. Thai ice tea and ice coffee are also great. The place was not too busy when we were there before noon on Saturday. The waiter was really nice. Highly recommended!
Highly recommend the khao soi! I love curry and I love noodles, and khao soi is the greater combination of its parts
Service is great as well! The servers are super attentive, and they have a great music selection as well
Update (November 2022): Came back to have the khao soi and it was more amazing than I remembered. I was so eager to eat it, I forgot to take a photo... Guess I'll just have to come back, hehe
The food and service is amazing.
Took a chance on Thai delivery last week. Had the Thai Boat Noodle Soup, and I was blown away! Physically went to the restaurant today. Had the Pad See Ew with beef, no egg. Outstanding! I kept creeping other tables to try to figure out what they had so I could try those dishes my next time. There will most certainly be a next time!
Menu looks so promising but execution leaves something to be desired. We've tried it multiple times and have found most things to be either underseasoned or too sweet. Very yummy gyoza but found most other dishes a little disappointing.
Best pad see you. Love the big veggies, smooth flavors, complex. 👍
This place was amazing! The minute we walked in it smelled so delicious in there, the decor was nice and the vibe was good. We got the Pad Woon Sen and the Khao Soi and they were both fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The staff was super friendly and the food was ready relatively quickly. I really loved the variety of fresh vegetables. Very reasonably priced as well and on a nice block that was pleasant to eat on and walk around. Had a very nice date night ❤️ would recommend
Awesome Thai restaurant! Cool decor and great food. Love the lunch specials, perfect size/price/taste ratio
Delicious, I had the yellow curry (chicken & mild) and it was fantastic, kept me full. Great food especially the spare rib noodles was delicious. Good service also. Got to go back again.
Very satisfied and will definitely return. Taste Tom Yum soup 🍲.
This is my go to Thai food. My wife loves this place because of there Thai boat noodles soup. My wife and I show up about an hour before closing and the food is always fresh and delicious. The waitress always makes us feel at home when we dine in and she always keeps the bar open for us. Because it is so close I order once or twice a week for pick up orders. If you ever want some good Thai food I really recommend this place.
Small restaurant, personal service, delicious dishes.
The food and the service was great. A little spot with great vibes.
The TOM YUM NOODLES were so amazing! I will be coming back again! Great food and service!
Food was soo good!
I’ve been going here since 2016 and the service is always friendly and the curry is the BEST in the area. Whenever I’m out of town I can’t wait til I’m back to eat there!
One of my favorite restaurants, the food is delicious and the restaurant is super cozy and quirky. If you’re vegetarian, I highly recommend the tofu soup with a side of glass noodles.
Every Thai noodle dish you can imagine, always delicious! Love this place
Super nice people. Food was really fresh and had amazing flavor. Highly recommend.
My aunt brought me here since she is a regular. She suggested we get Pad Thai, basil beef, spicy chicken, tofu fried rice and mango sticky rice. I also tried the Thai iced tea and it was so good. I LOVE this restaurant. I went for a lunch today and got spicy beef chow mein and it was perfection. Quality of food was great. Taste of food was great. Customer service was great and I didn’t think it was too pricey. This will forever be the new spot. If you like ice green tea they have the best!
Prompt service and extensive menu with decent sized portions that are well prepared and good value.
Everything's bomb.
Really great menu and fantastic service. Woll be back!
This restaurant has such cute decor, I love the ambiance. The service is amazing as always. The food is delicious! We love visiting this place. They are properly socially distancing the tables, and taking all covid precautions. Tonight we had the Gyoza, I forgot to take pictures, but they are always delicious. We also had the tofu pad Thai, and it tastes really good. We also had a good sticky rice, which is my absolute favorite. I did take a picture of the dessert. I definitely recommend this location, it doesn't disappoint, and all my friends love it.
Most delicious unknown food. Best kept secret. Give them all your money for their food.
Great hospitality and even better food. I'm going to have to try some more meals from them
Well...well! What can I say.
Just try any of their delicious dishes
Best Tom Yum noodle soup and SNTB combo fried rice and pad see ew and drunken noodles. The appetizers are good 😌
My husband and I love this place our top 1 restaurant we go to for special occasion ❤️
Very friendly staff, also very genuine. Pad thai was great and had a few extra shrimps thrown in. The portion is fair for the price and quality of the food. We also had the food brought out to the car, which was nice a nice gesture. The wait wasn't long at either, I would love to try another dish or maybe stop by for their lunch special and a beer. Thanks again ST ! ♥️
I absolutely love this quaint noodle house! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re sincerely missing out! Explore the menu, everything is good!
Pad thai is on point! Yum!
Food is good and quick. Do yourself a favor and get the mango with sticky rice!
Yes for a very good larb, tom yum soup, and my favorite, the green papaya salad. Other dishes, such as curries, are well-made and flavorful, too. The inviting lunch menu at this Thai restaurant also deserves mention.
Charming ambiance.
The food was great!
Nice ambiance
Always great food
Excellent service and very delicious food! Thank you :)
Wow their soup is so delicious with the rice noodles
By far the best place for Thai. The yellow curry, pineapple fried rice and Tom Yum noodle soup are simply delicious! Best kept secret: mango sticky rice...yummo!
Great Thai noodles
It's a good thing I dont live next door, I'd be there every day. Get the papaya pad thai!
Great for me.
Always delicious, never disappoints! The hidden gem.
Excellent.
Their yellow chicken curry was average. Lots of decent curry sauce, big lump of average white rice, and a moderate sized portion of average chicken, no soup, just a tiny portion of iceberg lettuce with barely edible dressing and on the expensive side. If this was $8 then yeah ok, but $11.50? No, I dont think so. The old Thai place that used to be at this location was far better and five freaking dollars.
Awesome variety and quality food. Great service
Great place. Their seafood soup was really good and I rarely have Thai food. I do want to come back but work overseas. Next time with Chang beer.
Great food and fast service. Very friendly staff.
Great lunch specials
Really great pad thai and thai tea (the best combination of things ever)
Amazing
Good food
One of my favorite spots in Long Beach. Khao Soi is my go to, but tonight I tried the spicy lime noodles and well... I've found a new favorite! Thank you STNB for another great meal with great company
Very good food. Very testy I'm enjoy Will be back
Muy buena la comida
Love the decor as well as the food, which is moderately priced. Staff is very nice.
Probably some of the best noodles I have had in long beach. The service was great and the staff was friendly. We ordered our food and probably had it within 15 minutes.
Oh the Thai boat noodles is bomb af can't wait to try the other stuff
Really really good meals here. One of the best in this area.
What a great restaurant to dine at!! I've been to this place a few times over the last 3 months and was needing to rate my experience overall. Each time I had ordered, the food came out super tasty!! Pad thai is on point with wok taste and even had me craving for it from first time I had tried it. Papaya salad have a great taste and is more sweet mixed with sour less the usual Asian ingredients (hence no fishy smell if you get what I mean). I've ordered pad see ew, tum yum soup, beef garlic stir fried with veggies (can't remember actual menu name), stir fried egg plant, thai iced tea, fried rice, beef salad, thai boat, and orange chicken. All were amazing and didn't disappoint. Would recommend this place. Only draw back is they are closed from 3pm to 5pm. Usually that's the time I am near the area and would have to rush over before they close for 3pm but on weekends I go when they open at 11.
A clean and nicely decorated place. We ordered Curry chicken both the green and yellow. I was stunned at how sweet it was. Curry shouldn't be sweet. The appetizers were better but still very sweet. Sweet chicken wings? Really?
Good service, and fast food.
Beautiful. It smelled delicious. An equiclvalwncy wouod be like norms or Denny's but sharper.
Always delicious food
