Panviman Thai Cuisine is a beautiful restaurant. The Thai spaghetti with Green Curry is pretty good. The chicken sate skewers were flavorful and juicy.

The star of the lunch was the Mango Sticky Rice. The rice has a slight bite and chewiness to it with lots of sweet coconut syrup.

The customer service is good and friendly.

My 2nd time to give another chance after 7 years. Definately will be my last time.

This place is another Gem in my area.
Very clean place, friendly staff and I love family owned business and this is one.
The food has a very nice presentation excellent flavor and generous portions.
But I will say I will keep coming back for the amazing drinks that are made here. I’m told the bartender Paul does not drink but it is unbelievable to think when you taste these drinks, you would think this bartender has tasted the drinks to perfect them because these drinks are so much better than many dinner restaurants I have been to including the Yardhouse, P. F Changs and others. This place blows the bartenders from higher end places.

I highly recommend you try this place and be confident to take friends and family your first visit.

This place has some very good food. Particularly their money bag appetizer.
I would have given them 5 stars but they charge you an extra $2 for ordering Thai ice tee with less ice and charge you $4 more if you order with no ice. That price hike did not sit well with me. It seems overly greedy.

We have crossed this place a couple of times and decided to eat lunch. The Pad Thai Special is really good, it's one of the best ones I have had. I also like that the bean sprouts were on the side and still raw so you could mix them in. The veggies were cooked just right. I sort of wish duck was one of the meat options, but the chicken was also really good. My husband got the fried rice, he was happy with his portions and how his shrimp was cooked and generous amount of vegetables. He was able to get a hefeweisen and he was happy that there some beer options. We were surprised there wasn't a mild, hot, spicy, and thai hot option, but they brought a sort of dried chutney, peppers. And chili sauce to make it hotter. Bonus, is you can see the cooks in kitchen.

Food is excellent. Make reservations in advance if you can.

I used to order Pad Thai, Beef salad and snow crab fried rice back when I lived in Lakewood. I recently visited the restaurant during my short visit. I order Beef salad, Tom Yum and Fish fillet. I have to say, it's a disappointment. The foods I ordered didn't taste as great as before. So, this will be my last visit to the restaurant.

My family and I visit Panvimarn every 1-2 weeks...yes the food and staff are that good. Lovely interior decor and ambiance make this a great place for a date or something more informal.

So it was my first time attending this restaurant yesterday. I’m not a fan of Thai food but I was surprised for Mother’s Day. The ambiance was amazing. The dim lighting gives it a nice touch. The service was also good. We were greeted upon arrival and getting a table wasn’t too long for a Friday. The young man who brought us water was also courteous and attentive. We didn’t even have to ask for a refill because he was going around checking to make sure we did. I believe his name started with an S and had curly dark hair. The food was very delicious and we will definitely return another time. Overall I had a great Mother’s Day and for me, enjoying good food and great service is very important.

I love the red curry and also the sweet mango rice dessert when its in season. The jungle noodle is delicious. I like it with no spice which they can do.

I have been going here for many years but it's been a while since I was there. I had the golden Curry and pineapple rice. It was great! And, the service was good as usual. I really like the Upscale Interior and experience of eating there. And the prices seemed reasonable compared to what prices have been doing at restaurants all over.

The food and service was great. Our waiter recommended the sole in pepper sauce and it was amazing. We also had the crab fried rice, money bags, and wonton. We ate the entrées so fast that I forgot to take a pic! Lol. The entrées are shareable in size, so u get a good amount for what u pay for. Oh... and my drink (lychee Paloma) was BOMB! I will definitely be back!

This place is Thai food heaven..

The service wasn’t the greatest but the food is always good there. We heard there were rats in the kitchen and haven’t been back since, but if you are more adventurous after they correct the problem, the food is worth trying. I enjoyed everything I’ve ever had there to be honest and have ordered to go and dined in.

Food, Service, & Atmosphere 5 stars all around. Wait time was only like 15 minutes and host kept us updated throughout that wait time and even cleaned up the bar to have a beer meanwhile we wait. Between 6 of us we split 2 appetizers and 4 entrees portions were nice and shareable. If you wamt to add a kick ask for their fish sauce 🔥. Sake sampler with an Asahi was perfect to top it off. Definately recommend trying this place out the dishes were exceptional.

This was a very disappointing experience. Service was minimum. We sat down waiting be greeted and we got water. Then we waited. The manager was nice when she came to take our order. But that was all the service we got. Food came and then no check in by a server. Manager did a check in afterwards. Check came and no one asked if it was to be split even thought it was obvious that many adults may want to split. Return visits were far and few between. The food isn’t gross but I wouldn’t come back.

Overpriced and terrible food. They charged us $15 for rice. We ordered the papaya salad, duck curry, golden curry, A???, seafood with young coconut. The papaya salad was fine. The duck curry should be called duck skin curry as it was primarily duck skin with barely any meat. The chicken in the golden curry was incredibly dry. The A??? was also fine. The seafood with young coconut was not terrible but not particularly good. Service was fine, but that doesn't make up for the bad food and flies that were buzzing around my head.

Great place to get good tasting clean Thai food. Service was excellent-take out. They said 20 minutes till ready; was ready in about 12 min. I just have to learn how to order the dishes...

The servers were kind, professional and attentive.
The upper level seating is nice but the stairs can be an issue if you have a drink in your hand.

After talking to my girlfriend for a while about what to get for dinner I convinced her to go to this restaurant, we were lucky that there was no waiting line nor many ppl dining, this place is amazing, has a bar, tv to watch sports ,and a 2nd floor that we didn't get to see cause it was nearly closing time, and the music was really nice and not too loud, workers are very polite and nice young ppl, however food was a little disappointing, my girlfriend got Emerald green curry and I had the Heavenly tofu, . Curry itself was not hot but delicious , eggplant' skin was very hard almost raw, bell peppers were also halfway cook, bamboo shot was perfect, portions was very decent for the price, mine was a very nice portion as well but same situation, fried tofu was very hard, Chinese broccoli was almost raw tastes like mustard, green beans not even halfway cook, the gravy sauce was delicious and so the shitake mushrooms , and well this is our personal opinion, no offense to anyone and thanks for the service but please improve the dishes, and for the chefs, please taste the food, check the texture before delivering it

A few years later, and I have to revise my review. So expectations were high, but the food had lost its edge. Boring, not tasteless but no soul. I got to wonder if the cooks are all non Thai... Not going back as there are other excellent choices in the neighborhood.

I went for lunch and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the lunch garlic shrimp and the server rang it in with chicken, so I brought it back. The kitchen then remade it…with chicken. 😐 So they remade it a 3rd time and I wish I took the chicken. I got 5 pieces of flavorless shrimp after waiting 30 mins and the only consolation was a refill on my Thai tea. It was expensive and didn’t taste good. Won’t be suffering here again.

Great food, good ambiance. Service could be a little better, only see the waiter/waitress 1-2 times during the entire meal. A couple more trips to my table could result in more purchases, specially beer.

The foods and drinks are amazing. I had the espresso gelato martini and that was delicious. Their korean beef is also very delicious and their pork ribs with the sauce they provided. The blanket shrimp is also very good with the sweat chilli sauce that comes with it. The tom yum goong soup and papaya salad was also good. Overall everything we had ordered was very delicious. The only downside i would say is the price. Definitely a place to get your family or friends together so the bill can be split. If not, you can easily spend 50 dollars or more very easily.

Not my favorite Thai place but I'd go again if someone in the group plans for it.

My family and I have been coming here regularly (every 2 weeks or so) for the past several years. Great food, great service and a lovely interior atmosphere create a very enjoyable dining experience for all. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy Thai food. You will not be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I eat at this Thai place regularly because it’s near his house. I tried different menu items each time and I loved the taste of every single thing i’ve tried! My only complaint is the service. I think it’s because this place is completely packed all the time that the service is lacking. However it’s the best Thai place in California for sure.

We ordered the Duck Noodle Soup and the Jungle Noodles and everything was delicious! We did wish they served a bit more noodles with the Jungle Noodles because we ended up with 6-7 pieces of steak with no noodles to eat them with.

We chose the flat wide rice noodles for the duck noodle soup and some of them were stuck together, but the broth was very flavorful and there was a good amount of skin-on duck meat to enjoy!

Very busy restaurant. Great atmosphere, food beautifully presented and we really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, we found the pad thai special moderately too sweet, and the heavenly tofu a tad too salty. Chicken teriyaki was okay. The golden curry was the winner for that night. Perhaps, we might have ordered the wrong dishes and may look at revisiting another time.

This restaurant is very relaxed and comfy big tables. The food was amazing the Thai style baby ribs appetizer and slam spring rolls were both very tasty everything we tried was good I would def come back here instead of my usual Thai restaurant in DTLB

A wonderful experience and delicious food!

The servers were good and very accommodating; however, there were 8 of us in the large table, and the food dishes they served were expensive but came in small portions — with each dish only good for one or two customers, and therefore couldn’t be shared with the other 6 in our group! The general consensus was that “small portions” are very typical of any Thai restaurants everywhere! It’s sad… more than likely, we won’t be back anytime soon!

Had the Pad See-Ew. Fantastic. The staff was very friendly... Not only towards me and other customers, but also amongst each other which was nice to see. The vibe/atmosphere was a little dark/dim inside, and more "classy" than a typical Thai place. I don't prefer "class" but others might. Overall I would recommend.

Roasted duck was too chewy

Walking into this restaurant shows me it was classy, the music was excellent, we had to wait for our table a long time bcuz we had a wagon, but I didn't mind. The owner Tin kept checking on us to make sure we were ok. I never ever experienced the actual owner taking care of their customers. That was amazing. She has a lot of class and great customer service. The waiter Mika was nice too. Our waitress was nice too. Now the food was excellent. The bathroom was clean. I will definitely come back here, I'm coming from Covina. My daughter thought that was crazy. I told her when the service is over the top and food is great, that makes me drive far. I want to Thank you Tin. U r a great owner and so beautiful.

Visited this place after reading an article in ‘Eater’ recommending this as the top place for Thai food in LA. Clearly Eater magazine as no clue of what authentic Thai food is.

I ordered sole fish. It was clear that the food has been Americanized to reduce spice levels to a minimum which is not like real Thai food at all.

The server did not even know what Nam Pla sauce is :)

If you are happy with Americanized Thai- sure, visit this place and knock yourself out. But if you want some semblance of real Thai- this is not the place.

I love this place and have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. food is delicious and will recommend it but lately customer service is absolutely awful, i haven't seen owner there, that may be the reason why. i was waiting for my meal for 45 mins. only to find out they didn't submit the order, no apologies or anything. last experience was that i ordered food to go, arrived at restaurant, paid for food. i went to restroom and when i came back there was no one around. I simply took my food, when i was walking out an employee stopped me, in a rude manner, and asked me if i had paid for food, i said yes. she took it out of my hands and took it back inside. once she verified i paid she handed food over. i understand she was doing her job, but her mannerism and redness certainly was insulting. I am not going back, bar tender is very rude and has an attitude towards customers. I appreciated the time when owner was there, she is the reason why i am loyal the restaurant and i support her during covid. due to bad service and rude attitude i will not go back. enjoy the food if you go but good luck being treated nicely.

Too expensive for what you get.

I consider it a great sign when there ate enticing smells coming from a restaurant when you're still in the parking lot, and the flavors did not dissapoint! I loved the dish I had and need to comeback to try more of the menu!

From here it was 17$ and a third of the size of the one I get from Jade Siam in Huntington park (the best Tom yum I’ve tried so far for 14$ lots of Chicken and same veggies but better proportions and better taste overall for sure)

Very little chicken and taste is bland despite being labeled as “medium spicy” just taste like lemon barely any spice could do way better for the price for sure. I never write reviews but I was that disappointed unfortunately…

The food at the restaurant is delicious. That being said I received terrible service which turned me off to this restaurant entirely. My server disappeared after taking my order and never returned to the table. She asked us when we would like our entries put into the kitchen by signalling me from the server alley over the wall. We sat for over 30 minutes without water and had to repeatedly ask for help from whoever we saw. We waited quite a while for our check after boxing our food only to walk out and see at least 10 people waiting for tables. While this restaurant presents elegantly it's service is deplorable.

My brother and I stopped by for lunch on a Friday. Parking was very easy. Lots of free parking behind the restaurant. The inside is a bit tight, but the vibe is serene and it is very easy to carry on a good conversation. Now let's get to the good news. The food was ridiculously good. I had the Hot 🔥 Stuff lunch and while I was hoping for more heat, the flavors were spectacular. It comes with your choice of protein (chicken, pork, beef), rice and salad. The salad dressing was salty, sweet and savory. If they bottled it I would put it on everything. The pork and vegetables were equally delicious and the I brown rice that I chose was well, brown rice. Not spectacular, but well cooked.
My brother had the Salmon with pineapple rice. It also came with a salad and was equally as delicious as my dish.
The only thing I feel is in need of some help is their ticket times. We waited a long time for our orders to come from the kitchen. Still if you like Thai food this is a must visit destination.
I for certain will be back to sample the rest of the menu.

Came here because of the reviews and it does look nice but when I walked in, it smelled like dirty rag. Wish I can say something about the food but i can't because I got freaked out with a little roach crawling on top of the booth where I was sitting. I let the server know, he said, OMG! and asked if I wanted to sit elsewhere and I said no, then he asked if I wanted my food to go and I said, no thanks. I immediately walked out. I can only imagine what kind of infestation they have. Tiny roaches means there's more than one.

I have been dining here for many years pre-pandemic, Had a birthday dinner for my friend and they we're great. Never had a bad meal and the prices are not inexpensive but fair.
