We are Tanicha β₯οΈ
Meet Tris, Nita and Arocha, three best friends from Thailand now based in Los Angeles, California. With our hearts set on sharing authentic Thai cuisine and good vibes, In January 2024, we opened our first restaurant, Smile Thai, in Harbor City. Just five months later, we proudly expanded to our second location, Suki Time Thai Kitchen, in Lomita.
Join us on a culinary journey through Thailand right here in South Bay, where we blend traditional flavors with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
We are very excited to bring you along this journey ππ»
Yo this place caught me by surprise. My friend quickly told me to pull in as you can miss this gem if youre driving too fast. We walked in and the place was nice and calm with a lively vibe. The owners are two best friends and they're under 30! They should be on Forbes list because this is their second restaurant. That alone speaks for itself. If you come here.. Whether youre craving soup (tom yam) or some noodles or some mixed fried rice.. Its all good. Don't forget the Thai tea..
I visited this restaurant for lunch over the weekend. It was quite busy, with many takeout orders being placed. I ordered the Spicy Basil Beef and Green Curry. Both dishes allowed the option to choose the level of spiciness, and I found that mild spicy was just right for me; the regular spicy was quite hot. Each dish was around $10, making it very affordable. The food was delicious, and I'm definitely planning to return.
Some of the best Thai food Iβve had outside of Thailand. Highly recommend. They service was very nice and helpful and the food came very fast.
We ordered the spicy eggplant, a Tom Kha hot pot, a pad see ew, and mango sticky rice for dessert. All of which were very delicious, with generous portions, and very fair pricing.
There is plenty of seating and we will be sure to make this a new local spot.
Love this place. Food is always delicious!
Good Tom yum! Good service. I wish they still had the honey ginger tea though
Great food, great service, would definitely go back again.
This place is under new management so thereβs no more hot pot available here (which is what I loved about this place). I didnβt mind it too much when I was dining in that I could only order regular Thai dishes, but when the food came out, it was really disappointing. I ordered the Tom kha soup, which was way too sweet, and the pad see ew which was way too salty and the beef was overcooked and tough. I gave the server feedback (since she asked how things were multiple times) and she was quiet about my feedback until after I paid, in which she said that most of their clients prefer it this sweet since a lot of people order this, but thanked me for my feedback anyway. It felt a bit dismissive. I actually love Thai food and have relatives who are Thai, so Iβve had my fair share of Thai food all over the world. Unfortunately, I have to say this is some of the worst Thai food Iβve ever had. If they were more sincere about the constructive feedback, I would have given them another chance, but I donβt think itβs worth coming back here if theyβre insistent on putting out poor quality food.
This is a wonderful Thai restaurant. This is their second location. I love the owners they are both very nice, please, hospital, and friendly. She knows how to treat her customers and she treats us like family. I can't wait to go back, oh and the food is great.
The food my wife and I have gotten here (we usually pick it up and bring it home) has always been excellent. We love their Tom Kay soup, best anywhere we've eaten. You won't go wrong eating here.
The owner is very friendly and very accomodating to the customers, and the food is packed with flavor. The Calamari was crispy even after we asked for a to-go box. The mongolian beef and BBQ pork were tender and comforting. Portion size is very generous for the amount you pay for. The homemade coconut ice cream is by far the best ice cream I have tasted in my life.
10000/10 would eat again
The food is always great. Iβve eaten there for many years. Iβve noticed that the food portions are smaller than they used to be but still delicious. Always fresh, hot and super tasty!
I love the food here. I've been going here for my thai food craving for almost 6 years. I missed the old menu that they had, but with the new management so the old menu went away. The crispy pompano was to die for and so was the hot pot experience. Overall, the food is still great just wished the menu didn't change that drastically. It just doesn't feel the same and the authenticity astmosphere is not there like before. It just give the vibe of i'm just another thai restaurant now. Unfortunately, i won't be coming as often as i did before due to most of my favorite dishes have been remove to opt in for some basic thai dishes that i can get at pretty much any other place. If anything i still give the tom yum two thumbs up.
Everything was so good!!! New ownership!!!
I recently visited Suki Time in Lomita, CA, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The restaurant has changed management, and the quality has noticeably declined.
We ordered dinner for two, spending just over $50, which is not inexpensive. We started with the Summer Rolls, which used to be a delightful appetizer. However, under the new management, they have become a cheap, lackluster dish resembling a 99-cent store pre-made salad wrapped in rice paper.
For my main course, I ordered the Veggie Yellow Curry. It was inedible due to its excessive sweetness. The only word that comes to mind is cloying. It seemed like the recipe called for two cups of sugar per serving, which I doubt was the original intention.
Even the Thai Iced Tea was so sweet that we had to wait for all the ice to melt to dilute it enough to drink. It was just too sweet.
Sadly, we will no longer be returning to Suki Time. The changes in management have led to a significant drop in quality, and the dining experience is no longer enjoyable.

Came for the first time 2 days ago and we had to come back again. Service is outstanding! Our server was extremely friendly and helpful with the menu. We love spicy food so ordered the βsuper spicyβ and it did not disappoint. Packed with spice and flavor. Will definitely be making this place a regular lunch stop for usπ
Loved everything about suki time! The location and parking is super easy and they have two large patios for seating in addition to the inside space. The portions are great for sharing and the food was delishhh!! We took home leftovers that were just as good the next day. Everyone was also so nice I canβt wait to go back again with friends.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was wonderful. Our server was so attentive and accommodating. The food was so Fantastic ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ» we will come back soon
I love this place so much!! All the people are very friendly and give the best recommendations. I really enjoyed the spicy papaya salad and the thai basil fried rice it was delicious!! I will be returning for the good vibes, beer, and yummy food!!
OMG, I love this place. I had dinner there I ordered Tom Zabb, Papaya salad, Spicy wings, Thai iced tea. Friendly service and excellent foods, and price was good. Iβll recommend this restaurant for all my friends.
If youβre looking for amazing authentic Thai food in Lomita you need to check out Suki Time! The BBQ Pork and Chicken Satay are to die for! The crab fried rice is also very delicious! The restaurant is run by 3 best friends from Thailand and they really put in effort when it comes to friendliness and service. I highly recommend this place for awesome delicious Thai food!
Suki Time is classic Thai with some of the best service you will ever get! The food itself is already great across the board, IMO you can tell if a Thai place is going to be great just from the Pad Thai, and they delivered in that category.
The owners are so awesome and make sure every customer gets exactly what they order. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your meal. Just in the time I was there I saw them interact with EVERY customer and went back to the kitchen to personally alter orders to each persons liking!
Great establishment here!
Amazing food, they have a lot of different stuff and the atmosphere is so cute
The food here is so delicious, they must have grandma in the kitchen! The servings are quite large; I always end up taking leftovers home. Desserts are soooo good, and also pretty big. The restaurant itself is always very clean, and service can be a bit slow, as I'm fairly certain it's a family run business, so they only ever have one or two people working the front; however, they are always polite and smiling. It's also a bit pricey; expect to spend at least $60-$70 bucks for two people. But the wait time and price tag are so worth it! 10/10 recommend this place!
Fantastic food! Marvelous service! Epic sauce bar - do try the garlic soy! We shared an appetizer a soup and an entree and left full and happy! Only regret is not finding this place sooner. We will be back!
We order takeout from here all the time and the food is always good. Today we decided to dine in and the food was fabulous. We ordered the chow mein with pork and the pad thai with pork and shared. The food was amazing and we left with leftovers. The waitress and the other lady working were both very friendly check to make sure our food was good and were very attentive. We will definitely continue ordering delivery but will also start dining in as well. Thanks for a yummy meal!
I go here all the time. Great food!
Tried the Sweet sticky rice with mangoes and it was divine! Absolutely recommended it!
Food is average
Love this place!!! Best Thai food in Lomita!!! Only place we go to and family owned π₯
Food is amazing. We shared a yellow curry with fried tofu & Tom Kha Goong soup. They make it to your heat enjoyment. The server was very patient & nice.
Simple, clean dining room with a very busy single waitress. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. It is our go-to choice after church. Very popular place with locals of Asian and Caucasian descent.
Probably the worst Thai food in the area. I ordered take out through Uber eats, and the food came quickly but the food itself was lacking flavor, especially the pad see ew. On top of that, I found a sharp piece of plastic in the Mongolian stir fry. If you want Thai, go somewhere else.

It's a really good small Thai place, drunken noodles is my favorite dish.
Edit: 7/21/23
We have now been coming regularly. Food is always consistently fresh and flavorful. Service is with a smile. Love it!!
Flavorful food with fresh ingredients, especially their salads and veggies! I am here with my son for lunch, and I our experience was so positive - the server was so cordial (rare! Keep it up!), the lunch specials are a real value ($9.95), and the food, that was the best part. We had Tofu Pad Thai and Thai Basil with chicken. Also, the best honey ginger tea, made in their kitchen. The restaurant is super clean with a nice laid back vibe and plenty of seating and parking. Will be coming here and doing take out.
Food is EXCELLENT!!!
No entrΓ© a ese sitio.
I ordered the Drunken Noodles. Food was above average with small portions of meat. I also had to pay extra for meat. When asked about it, the waitress was polite but did not remedy the small portion of meat by bringing extra. I separated the meat to show her the small portion of 6 quarter sized beef cuts, but she said it was a noodle dish with a small side of meat. I've been eating Thai food for a long time and since this place wants to be cheap on ingredients, I will not be going back.
beyond anything I feel qualified to describe
Absolutely one of the best Thai restaurants in the area.
We always love this place.
Great for lunch. Awesome flavor and good portions. Quick and friendly staff as well.
Great food and great service. Reasonable lunch specials. Big dining area. Great Thai coffee tea and desserts. Will be back.
One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to. The food was generally clean and not salty, so it was really good. Maybe it was because I was hungry? It was a bit small. I plan to stop by again on another day and try different types of menu. My date with my husband became a very happy time because of this restaurant.
WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! Lucky enough to be treated to Suki Time by our Son & his Girl and I canβt say enough how good the food is!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE HOT POY SHABU SHABU!! Tom Kha was best Iβve ever had!! & VERY reasonable prices!! Donβt forget the Green Grape Soju!!
Sometimes the food can be okay other times really good. Vegetarian options are available as a choice. Drinks are nice as well. Sometimes the service lags depends on who is your server. The food is flavorful for the most part. Ginger dishes are very good and recommended
Iβve tried this place a few times now all different dishes and all have been wonderfully delicious! My current fall fav is the pumpkin curry, so creamy and comforting but still light because of the coconut milk and the spice level is perfect, just hits the spot for a cool fall evening. The service is great too! Iβll be back again and again!
Every time I come to California, I always go here. The staff is so polite, and the food is amazing. My favorite dish here has to be the papaya salad, as well as the padsee ew. Thank you for the delicious food.
Not sure how when you order 3 entrees and discuss rice, they completely leave it put and they can refund or credit...does me no good. It's my own fault I guess...I should always check. Super disappointing.
This place sucks. Food is not even good. The waitress forgot about our order and the yellow curry is so sweet it tastes like eating dessert with rice. Ugh. Such a waste of money and time.
Friendly staff. Tasty thai food and desserts.
They have 4 spicy levels to choose from for any spicy dish. I opted for level 4 for my Tom Kha soup noodle. Spicy and delicious. Paired with Thai Iced Tea. Pad thai is also tasty if you prefer sweetness and non spicy thai food.
Go there for the hotpot, good soups and vegetables.
The vegetarian options are really good.
Ordered over the phone and picked up in restaurant. Good pineapple fried rice and really good coconut milk soup with tofu. They always ask if you want it spicy or mild. Priced a bit high (pineapple fried rice, small coconut soup w/tofu, Thai tea, was almost $30 with 15% tip.)
Great 'Service and a Nice Cozy place to eat at..away from the 'Noise of π World we live in...The Egg Rolls were good and Fried Chicken Rice.
I have been to Thailand many times. Eating here was like going back there for an hour. Highly recommend!
Good food
Great food and service
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight. The fried calamari was yummy and the sweet and sour sauce is the best Iβve had. We had noodle dishes that were very tasty and recommend the coconut Thai tea.
The staff was super nice and the service was quick for a busy Friday night. Weβll be adding this place to our local rotation for take out or dine in.
Genial π
Just ordered from here recently pretty much all the food was good only thing I really didn't like and could not eat at all was the Tom yum shrimp soup. The soup is not like the usual Tom yum shrimp soup you might get from a Thai place so if you're expecting it to be the usual way it's not. I get Thai food from all over the place and I've been to lots of different Thai food restaurants and I've never had tom yum soup taste like this it tastes like they put a lot of tomato sauce in it or something the flavor is just not good. Very weird tasting.
Very classy environment inside or outside fine also. Friends environment and customer care total. Food π₯ yes taste great. Just perfect
So very delicious!
If i could give
50 stars I would Chriss is the best cheff ever the girls do good job with regard to service.fantastic food very authentic .recommend to everyine in south bay.
The chicken they serve in some dishes is pale and taste stale.
We had a great experience here. The staff was very cordial and the food tasted great. The dessert Roti was my absolute favorite!
Yummy food & super friendly staff π
My favorite place for Thai food. Hands down. Amazing Thai tea! ....Why!? Why is my favorite restaurant closed!? Why!? ...Aarrrrghhh...I'm hungry!
Wonderful food!
After Corona, eating out was virtually impossible, along came these nice folks with a patio and their willingness to serve us their delicious food. We finally had a meal outside our home.
Suki Time Thai Kitchen is me and my wife's favorite Thai restaurant (and restaurant in general). We come here fairly often (every few weeks or so) and order something new during each visit. The main favorite item to order is their Thai coconut coffee - it is far more flavorful and delicious than any coffee franchise, and comes in a very large bottle. All in all, every meal we have ordered has never disappointed, and the staff are all incredibly sweet, attentive, and helpful. We never feel rushed out of the restaurant when we are near the end of our meals, and the prices are also more than reasonable. This place will always be one of our fondest memories shared in Lomita. Thank you, Suki Time!
Just a quick pickup of Pad Thai for dinner. Perfect as always.
Best tom kha rice!!
I Always order Delivery and the food arrives fresh, hot and full of flavor as expected. Definitely satisfies my Thai food cravings
I went on a date here, as I wanted to try something new, and it was a great idea. The broths are full of flavour. I almost wanted to finish the entire bowl by myself, but I was too full. Oh yeah, it's super filling, too. I also had a Thai tea that is probably the best thai tea I've ever had--and I've had a LOT of them.
AWESOME FRESH SPICY FOOD!!! THAI ICE COFFEE IS π§¨π£π₯"!!!!!!
The food here is really good, but the service sucks! There was only one other table being served and our server barely came out to check on us. They brought out our hot pot, but didn't give us any bowls to eat it! It took like 10 minutes for them to come out finally and get us bowls. They brought out our meat but took 10 more minutes to get the sides we ordered. Maybe it was just one of those days. But 2 stars for this visit.
Really nice staff and delicious food that isn't too pricey! Plus, the atmosphere is quite nice.
Decent Thai food but dishes tasted a little too much the same and a bit too sweet.
Their fried rice was amazing!!!
best Thai food in town
Great food and atmosphere
Food was delicious, very nice prices, and fast and friendly service. Hiw can you go wrong with that combo.
I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 2 years, there is not enough room to write about this great place! The atmosphere is great, the food is very delicious, and the waiters are excellent hosts! If you want to try delicious Thai food, this is the best! I love their soups and the variety they serve. Their Thai tea is the best! The waiters are warm, welcoming, and attentive. They value their costumers very much! My wife and I recently received a mug and our own Thai tea to make at home! If that doesn't show customer appreciation, I don't know what does! I love this place. I posted a picture of the gift we received from them!
Delicious authentic Thai food! Two thumbs up! =)
Great food, fast and friendly service, clean restaurant
Best place ever. Came here for like a year and already knows what we order. Great staff and good food.
I come here everytime I come to LA.
Good food and service
Amazing flavor and great staff.
The food is so good here and the coconut thai tea is OMG, amazing.
Great Thai food. Love the yellow curry!
My go to thai place, beats any fast food thai restaurant any time.
Muy limpio, todo muy rico...
Terrific selections of hot pots, and the laidback atmosphere is also very lovely. I really enjoy every time being there.
Good service, Great Food!!
Had all you can eat Sushi, excellent quality and a good atmosphere.
Interesting food
Very good food. Wish there were more Gluten free options though.
Awesome food with the best servers
Drunkin noodles with fried tofu is my favorite. I ordered medium spicy and it's actually pretty spicy. My daughters like the pad see ew with beef. This is our favorite Thai place.
First time here. Great atmosphere & prices. We ordered 3 different lunch specials. After a very long wait, one dish came out, then several minutes later, my second guest was served. Then, about 10 or so minutes later, my 3rd guest was served, with an incorrect order. All 3 dishes were VERY spicy, even though we asked for no hot spice on anything. Oh bother...
Good food good sauces
OMG.... Great Food!
Delicious food and very quick to come out.
Good food, love the green curry.
Place is really good , the hot pots

Great place for dinner. Also had excellent service with friendly staff.
Good food, all around good experience.
Genuinely pleased with my experience here, the food was very tasty and well priced. Loved the ice thai tea boba, definitely coming back here again.
