Traditional Thai cuisine is prepared in a compact space with Asian & soccer-themed decor.
Great family establishment, authentic Thai food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. They typically run 1-2 short on staff so service can be very slow (last night we waited for a full hour for the food) but if you’re not in a hurry and just want to chill out over some proper Thai food in a no-rush environment, this is the place.
Mom and Pop place with some of the best Thai food I have ever had! Delicious dishes. Veggies within the dishes remain crisp and tasty; never over cooked. Their signature crying Tiger dish is amazing. We come here every time we are in the area! They can take a while for take out, but it is worth the wait...call early, no issues!
At our favorite Thai restaurant the excellent freshly prepared food is matched only the the warm and inviting hosts. We look forward to the return of dining in this quaint and relaxing space.
Please don’t visit this wonderful restaurant when you’re in a hurry, it’s too good to rush. Everything is made to order so don’t even try to rush the experience. Please go somewhere else if you have ants in your pants
This place was great. We were searching for a restaurant that was still open last minute because another closed an hour earlier then usual. They took us in no problem and made us feel welcome. We loved the Bong (crispy egg roll with shrimp and avacado). It's a little restaurant and the family running it was amazing. We had a great conversation on the way out. Highly recommend.
Clean food with generous portions and great flavor. It's not heavy & that's how authentic Thai should be. If you are in a hurry then stick to your fast food. This is a small family style place where you may have to wait a little when they get slammed. It's an intimate room where the kitchen is in the dining room. But if you like the people you're dining with & you're OK enjoying your beer, the food is worth the wait. It's hard to find a good inexpensive meal in Laguna. This is a staple.
We want to like this place, but they are just hopeless when it comes to service. They brought out my Crying Tiger, and I could hardly wait. About 3-4 minutes later I asked where my wife's food was. They has not even started it. 20 minutes later it came, and there sat my very cold Crying Tiger. You would think we would learn, so we tried it again. This time they were consistent. Nothing came for over an hour after we ordered. We asked about it, and they said it was "being prepared in a different department" ???????? It came, and was stone cold. I just love the very casual atmosphere, the people are great, but they just have no business trying to run a restaurant.
The food here is decent, but the service is always slow. Like I'll come every once in a while and be like "it can't be as bad as I remember" and then it is. I think dinner was at least 2h last time. Not like we were in a hurry, but it took over an hour for our food to come out...
So sad that they’re closing. Their fried rice is exceptional. Hope the best for the owners.
One of my favorites! BEST Thai I know.

I've only been here once, but the food did not disappoint. We loved everything we tried and I've been craving to have it again ever since!

Def recommend this restaurant. The food is great and if you time it right, stroll along the beach a few blocks away to work up an appetite. Also: they made something for me they didn’t have on the menu
This place is intimate and wonderful. The staff is sincere and sweet, perfect for dates and small groups. Nan was a wonderful server!
Best Thai food hands down! Best! Service is slow. It’s part of the experience so it’s best to embrace it. If you’re in a hurry it’s not for you, but if you’re ok with a wait you’ll love this place.
It was good...just waited 2hours for my food(Saturday night at 8pm)

Best Thai food in Laguna Beach
Just ordered tom yum soup for take out. There was a women at the front only her tending to tables. She said when I ordered that it would be fast because it was soup. I waited for over 35 minutes and came up to her and the soup still wasn’t ready. Poor communication and customer service on her part. I left without the soup and I will never go back.
Outstanding Thai food. Excellent service. Small and intimate. Be sure to make reservations
Very popular for great food.
Best Thai food in Orange County. I loved the curry dishes.
A small place with very good food, good services and atmosphere. The constant good quality of the food make to go back every time I am in town!
Long time hole-in-the-wall known only by the locals. Blink and you'll miss it. Excellent food, good prices, usually very easy to get a table.
Great food. Small but great to go as well. Favorite Thai!
Incredibly tasty food and a decent portion!
Nice environment but a bit small! Great food!
Great Thai food! Small cramped spot that seems like something you would find in Thailand
I would give zero stars if I could, horrible experience. I called ahead to make a reservation for a party of 7. When we arrived we were seated right away, unfortunately that was the best part of our visit. After sitting for 15 minutes, a member of our party had to get up and ask for menus. 20 minutes later we once again had to go ask if we can place our drink order. Our drinks didn’t arrived until 20 minutes after that when we were finally able to place our food order. After waiting over an hour for our food and never seeing our waitress since ordering we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. Very disappointing, we will not be returning to the restaurant.
Good food, served on plates not bowls for curry only go if you have an hour plus for wait time
Really good food
The best place with the best pad Thai you’ll ever have. 100% worth the wait so don’t be discouraged.
Excellent Thai food primarily for locals. The place seats maybe 15 people max. A big take out business. If you want to feel like you live here you should try this place.
Tasty food but very slow service. Seems it wasn't the server's fault but that the kitchen was slow. For the five of us most dishes came out separately 5 minutes apart.
GREAT THAI FOOD AND VERY FRIENDLY WAITERS. OWNERS ARE EXTREMELY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. WISH LAGUNA THAI IS OPEN FOR LUNCH. REALLY MISS THE LUNCH DAYS AT LAGUNA THAI RESTAURANT.
Delicious! This is the best Thai food in Orange County...
Not fair for me to rate food as we never got a chance. We were seated at a table and we're abandoned for 30 minutes. we left they didn't try and say anything. Not sure if I'll try again.
Best Thai in Laguna
Great food and an authentic feel. From inside you feel like you could really be in Thailand enjoying a meal!
Food is tasty but with very little heat, even the dishes that should be spicy. Having four different chili sauces provides extra heat options but they each slightly change the flavor of the dishes.
Love this place. The food is delicious, the employees are awesome and it is a very good value !! I highly recommend #29 and #30 on the menu.
Little local handout.
Our family favorite destination for a great meal
I grew up with Thai food as my Mom was born and raised in Thailand and I can tell you hands down that this is the best Thai food I ever had... next to my mom's of course ...
Perfectly secluded from the busy laguna area. I drive all the way from Huntington just to eat here.
We went yesterday at 12 pm, And its close do you close Monday's ?
it's mah parents restaurant 😁😁
Best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. Delicious!

Best tasting Thai food I've had in a long time. Friendly service.
One of my favorite restaurants in Laguna beach.
Great Thai. Grab some to go and eat by the montage.
Crying tiger, drunken noodles, it's all good! And they are the sweetest people you'll ever meet.
