We sat down for 3-5 min before even getting a menu. There's no one else in the restaurant but me and my girlfriend. We wondered why we didn't get water only to find out they charge you for water bottles. No free water option. Should've taken that as a red flag, but we still ordered some food. I don't know if they changed owners or what, but the food did not look anything like how the photos on here showed. None of the food we ate was good. Both my girlfriend and I did not finish any of our food. We ordered a total of 4 items and 2 thai tea for around $70. I was disappointed and will probably never come back. I also can't recommend this place. Our server was nice, though, so that's a plus.

It's a small little Thai restaurant that has quick service and is clean. The food is all very decent prices for the portion. All the food came out delicious and well seasoned. It does remind me of nice home cooking. I would definitely go back.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's very clean inside and the waitress was great--we stopped here on our way through to Yosemite and had the chicken pad thai and drunken beef noodles and spring rolls. It was a little spicy for me (I normally go for an American-style mild to medium spice level) so you might want to take that into consideration when they ask how hot you want it.

It wasn't my favorite pad thai that I've had though it was still pretty good and the spring rolls weren't super fresh but they came with fresh shrimp. The food came quickly and the beef noodles were good.

Ordered pickup through door dash. This place is decent. I ordered crab wontons, beef salad (laab), orange chicken w/rice, chicken pad kra pow w/rice, basil fried rice and pad Thai. Everything tasted ok. The orange chicken was old because it was soggy and seemed to had been sitting for awhile because it soaked up all the sauce already. The basil fried rice was a little too soggy and salty for my liking. The chicken pad kra pow was on the salty side as well. Everything else was ok.

This is not the place to go for Thai food.

A Thai restaurant where your meal is made non-Thai people. The service is abysmal, they can't handle simple orders nor can they communicate properly. I waited 10 minutes to receive my order which was already completed and sitting on the counter, but the employee working the register simply ignored me and rushed to finish making another customer's meal who was also waiting (I put my order in 40minutes prior).

Once I finally got my meal, I found the crab rangoons to not be rangoons at all. They were more akin to fried stuffed dumplings with more air than crab/cream cheese. I also ordered Masaman curry with beef and wow do they skimp out on the beef. I had MAYBE 4 pieces in my meal.

Overall, this place is a disaster and there are better, more authentic Thai restaurants in town.

I randomly came across this restaurant and was blown away by the cleanliness, the quality of service and the superior taste of my food! I had chicken pad thai, chicken laab, Thai pork fried rice and egg rolls. Everything was mouthwatering! I ordered my laab medium and it was perfect and at the spice level I expected. I will most definitely come back!

Food was delicious as well as the great service. I recommend getting the drunken noodles for staters as well as their Tom Yum. Though I do think some of the dishes are very salty such as the green curry. Overall, good place

Ordered green curry. Bomb. Unfortunately, pad gra pao isn't pad gra pao without holy basil. Plus the meat isn't ground and the description on the menu says grounded meat. To top that. There's no fried egg. Just fyi guys

I'm not local and used google to find this restaurant. The food is nothing close to Thai food, the taste is off for every dish I got and I purchased 100 dollars worth of food. I am extremely disappointed. From what I gathered from the other comments there seems to be a change in ownership. I hope this message finds the new owner well and that they learn how to make authentic Thai food and use Thai seasonings and flavors, if you don't please remove the "Thai" word from your restaurant.

U-D is not good Thai food, in my humble opinion. Their pad thai is just ok, but the Thai fried rice wasn't good at all. There seemed to be a strong Indian influence with the rice, and other dishes. If that is something you dig, then you might love it.

The service was polite and nice, but very slow. The portions are significantly smaller than most other places we've been, but the prices are the same.

The one order we loved is the orange chicken. Theirs is made with sweet and sour sauce and we were really surprised by how great it was! Not Thai food, but still very good.

TLDR: Not good food, save for one dish: Orange Chicken. I do not recommend.

The stir fry was microwaved and meat had a smell when when we bit it and the soup was microwaved as well super sweet and and veggies was soggy and 3 piecesof shrimps that was hard. We did not eat and just paid for it and left. We brought it to the waitress attention and she kept saying everything was fresh but we did not hear no cooking in the back. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! So heartbroken to have to update my review. This place has a new owner who has absolutely trashed the wonderful flavors and amazing food it once was. It seriously is heartbreaking, I am not sure why the previous owners sold this place especially after the Fresno bee interview. DO NOT EAT HERE. The food is different and disgusting, I am SO disappointed. The pad thai was so nasty and tasted old, like an old meat flavor. The noodles made me want to vomit. The chicken in my curry tasted old and rubbery. Everything just does not taste fresh. They dont even fold the crab ragoons right and it tasted like only cream cheese. The new owners need to change the name of the restaurant, this is no longer thai food!!! It’s soul less food made with no understanding of the thai/lao cuisine. The atmosphere is so different, not friendly and warm as with the previous owners. They have a kid taking orders. I have referred a lot of ppl to eat here not realizing the train wreck it’s become. This place USED to be the best thai food, now under new owners it’s a wanna be thai spot with old food. Go elsewhere.

False Advertisement! Although I may not be Thai, I have ate enough Thai food to know that it is not authentic. I ordered about $60 worth of food. The food was not good. The Panang Curry and Pad Kra Pao was acceptable despite being overall very salty or sweet. Papaya are usually hit or miss, so I didn’t really too mind. But the Beef Pho was terrible. The Pho was bland, noodles were cut and short, bean sprouts were already added into the pho and the beef were of the incorrect cuts. We did not get any beef flank or tripe. The cuts of beef that we did get were tiny and tough. In addition the water was $2 a bottle and wasn’t mentioned, although we should’ve seen it coming when we received bottled water. The service was fine, nothing too special nor bad. The quality of their food and utensils fell below my expectations of a 4.5 rating. I usually wipe all my utensils as a good measure before using, however there were stains, not watermarks. I came here with high hopes and expectations, but returned disappointed. This was my first time ever not finishing my food or packing any leftovers. First and probably last time here unless some improvements happen. Had to do my first ever google rating because of how traumatized I got. May this rating reach everyone well.

Called and made an order through the phone, but picked up and paid 75$ for 5 plates that are small and that’s crazy. It wasn’t even tasty either, it was all extremely soggy as if I ordered rice porridge with extra oil. I feel ripped off. Save your money, this isn’t even authentic. Also the nam van, you get the a pink cup of milky sugar, nothing like real nam van.

She was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure my dinning experience was nothing short of perfect. The food was delicious,with a wide variety of flavorful dishes to choose from.The ambiance was kozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal.I highly recommend U-D Thai because the staff over there was so kind hearted and the girl who attended me was so sweet.so i realy recommend everyone who was looking for top notch service and authentic thai Cousine.

Read the reviews and decide to eat there. Never going back. I order drunken noodles, overly sauteed, Chinese broccoli with crispy pork, it's over saturated, order pho combination, tastes like the water with chicken based flavor. Also order red curry. It tastes better than the rest of the dishes but the beef from the curry and pho is nasty hard. I was not satisfied. I had to go somewhere else to satisfy my cravings. This is just my experience, you can try it out if you want.

Nice clean & great food

Are at this place while we was in town and the food was really good. The Tom Yum seafood soup was delicious and packed with seafood. Some other places I've tried the same dish and most of them don't give you a lot of seafood. Would highly recommend.

Before we got to the airport we were craving some Thai food, and this spot exceeded our expectations.

Clean and well kept interior and lady working was super friendly. We ordered pork pad see ew, beef drunken noodles, and chicken wings with sticky rice.

I only got a picture of the pad see ew since I couldn’t help but eat the other dishes when they arrived. Authentic Thai flavors all around and well portioned for the low prices!

Ask for the homemade chili sauce to dip your sticky rice with it!

We ordered the Pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice, chicken yellow curry, orange chicken & mango sticky rice. We have passed by this restaurant numerous times without knowing it was there. This place deserves recognition, this is the best Thai I have had since moving to Fresno from the greater Bay Area. It's beautiful inside, very clean and the service is amazing,a very friendly people. A hole in the wall, but in my experience those places are the best and this place is the best. I cannot wait to return.

What an absolute hidden gem.
The family and I were looking for some Thai food, but all our usual spots were closed, so we happened upon this place by pure accident and decided to give it a try. Boy oh boy were we soooo blown away and very pleasantly surprised. Literally everything we ordered was fantastic. We got the usual Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, orange chicken, yellow curry, two orders of mango sticky rice, and two Thai teas. Everything was beyond delicious! We will for sure be back and we'll for sure be telling all of our friends/family about it. It never fails, the tiny little hole in the wall spots are always the best and never fail to impress.

Hopefully I can find something to my liking because I will try this place 1 more time! Service was excellent and food came out in a reasonable time even though they were busy at 5pm.

The red curry chicken is 10/10 fantastic. The pad thai and drunken noodles are good. I special ordered garlic chicken (not on the menu) and it's fantastic! The customer service is exceptional. Overall, a solid place to eat real Thai food from a family whose actually from Thailand.
ps. I'm a Thai food connoisseur and grew up eating thai food Bangkok style.

Delicious Yum Neua!

We came in to order take out at 1930 on a Friday which is about an hour before close. I called them for an hour before that, all I got was a busy signal every time! When we finally got there, they had closed early and supposedly "sold out of everything!" Hmmm, suspicious... It's highly unlikely that they sold out of everything unless their fridge went bad and everything spoiled. Did I just step into a third world country? Actually, that's worse than third world countries. At least they will have something left on the menu. So I was politely turned away and asked to come back another time. No thanks! You lost my business... I just moved to the area and the last Thai restaurant that I lived close to knew me by name. "The usual?" "Yep!" Here, "sorry we ran out of everything, come back another time!"

My last place, "ohhhhh I'm sorry, I came 5 minutes until close, can I still dine in? I'm packing up my house and have no furniture to eat on at home." "Sure!" Here, not so much.... You can't even get take out an hour before close. And I couldn't call in a phone order 2 hours before close! I'll take my business elsewhere.

This place is tucked away that I would not have known it was there had it not been for Google. Small place but clean, food was a 100! Calamari fresh, orange chicken on point, as well as the Laab and basil chicken. Service was also a 100 ! I’ll be back if ever in the neighbourhood! Highly recommended!!

Enjoyable, authentic Thai food. The entrees are where it's at. The appetizers are not as remarkable. Pad kee maw and pad woon sen are flavorful, spicy, and peppered with some colorful vegetables. Sizes are on the smaller size but just enough.

Stopped to eat on our way back from Sequoia. Clean and welcoming establishment. Host was kind and attentive. Boat Noodle Soap, Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mow and veggie egg roles were all fresh and delicious. Veggi option made available. Will definitely eat here again!!!

Every time we eat here the service is friendly and quick. The food is phenomenal and fresh, and if you order medium spicy it's consistently the same heat level so you can be confident it won't be too spicy if you can't handle full on Thai spicy. They keep the restaurant spotless and comfortable, and takeout is easy too. We're so lucky they are in our neighborhood.

Huge bowl of chicken green curry with side of rice for only $9.99 lunch or dinner you can't beat it in 2022. The menu mentioned bell peppers which I was excited for. What a gem!!! Got my Asian food fix thanks to this little hole in the wall place with punchy flavors! The fish soup had SO MUCH flavor and with the meaty fish, the portion was so huge also. It was full of herbs that went along with the fish but no fishy smell to it at all. Loved the spicy kick from the jalapeños also. I wish I had an extra stomach to finish it all!

The beef stir fry dish also was really flavorful and I love how there were plenty of fresh herb flavors in their dishes. To me at least that makes a lot of difference in flavors and give these dishes authentic flavors.

Service was so good and the pricing was 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

One of my favorite places to dine in! The food is absolutely delicious and the price is reasonable. I ordered the chicken chow mein for me and my child for 11.99, and the flavors were rich and it was light and filling. Great Spot!

I ordered $100 worth of food 30 minutes before closing and they were able to make everything in 20 minutes. I was afraid the quality and taste would not be as great, but they proved me wrong!!!! I loved all of the food that I got. One slight improvement that I would recommend is to add more salt to the pork belly. Other than that, EVERYTHING was really good!!!! My favorites are the duck and chow mein. I will definitely go back.

Tonight we ordered a few things (duck, Papaya salad, pad Thai, egg rolls and curry) and not one thing was bad. We will definitely continue ordering from here. Good customer service too!

First time here. Customer service was very good. They are nice and friendly. The thai boat was good. Sadly, the pork is not pork belly and they don't have option for the size bowl. The pork it's just the crispy pork skin. And the pa see ew plate was good but it's not much on the plate.

The resturaunt was very clean, very friendly staff and good food.
