This restaurant started decades ago in downtown Fort Bragg and eventually moved to a bigger, more accessible location near the Pine Beach Inn. The menu features authentic family-style Thai dishes and delicious Thai tea. Don’t miss it!

They’re closing down so the entire place is a mess. Only open for take outs. It’s literally in the middle of nowhere. I hate it when real egg is substituted with liquid ready made egg. Can’t say much about the food. It’s was ok quality.

We ordered glass noodles with shrimp, paigang, vegetable tofu and ginger fish! All of them are tasty! Haven’t got time to take the before photo, lol. We did them all! Call them to pre order might help the wait time since they are pretty popular.

I got the lemongrass soup with prawns (everything was fresh and flavorful!), a green curry pork dish (so good!) and a Thai iced tea. Not only was the food yummy and authentic, but the woman running the place with the help of her daughter was as friendly and sweet as could be! I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area. Also to note: dine-in is not available at this time but you can have a seat while you wait for your order if you don’t call it in first. My order was ready in less than 15 minutes. Everything was excellent!

Great find, great food. Opens for dinner to-go. Good menu choices. Owner is very busy taking orders and cooking. Extremely nice. I would recommend you try.

Take put only. The Penang was delicious. We also had the Yellow Curry and the Pongkari.

You wont get more authentic Thai food than this. The curry tasted like somebody's grandma's family recipe

Vegan friendly and a good value.

This is the best Thai food I’ve had in CA. I used to live in Thailand and this place is truly authentic and so so delicious!

The best Tahi food in town by far. Orders are to go only currently, but super worth the drive. Everything is delicious and I have trouble picking a favorite from all the options. Some of the kindest people work here, and I cannot wait to visit again.

Exceptional. First time diner! High quality ingredients (real Sockeye Salmon) in the Three Flavored Fish dish (stellar). Beautiful shrimp in the noodle dishes. Generous portions for both the large rice and slaw. Be skeptical of any review that questions whether this place is “good.” This place isn’t “good” it’s yummy spectacular. — Loved it.

I've eaten at Viraporn's more times than I can count and every time it was nothing short of amazing. All the flavors in her dishes are so perfectly balanced and married. I love every dish I've ever tried here but the Tom Kha Gai has to be my absolute favorite. I could live on it. Viraporn is so sweet and the general atmosphere is comfortable, although I've most often gotten takeout. When I first came here I remember feeling like it was a hidden gem because it's location seems tucked away a bit. Now that I've moved away I miss the food here terribly. I find myself comparing all other Thai food to her cooking here and nothing ever quite measures up. You're one amazing lady. It's so good!

I look for every excuse I can to go eat at Viraporn's Thai Cafe. When they were in town in Fort Bragg, and I lived there, I would be there twice a week at least. Her style is very very fresh, bright with flavor, and light. I've eaten Thai food all over the world, and I will forever come back to her, and her daughter now, as the best of it. I've seen her daughters since the time they were 8 to 10 years old working with her learning this art. Her younger daughter now runs the restaurant. Hands down the best Pad Pet King Gung, chicken Penang, and steamed spring rolls on earth.

Worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. There was 2 other tables,we ordered appetizers and after 45 minutes the waitress never came back for our main order.talked to the owner when I left and payed.told him what happened he didn't even apologize. Would give a -3 star if possible

The lemongrass soup---wow! The pad thai---wow! The...ANYTHING...wow! It's the real deal. You will need to access this place by going west of Pine Beach Inn via their access road to units at the back of the hotel. This run by a woman from Thailand and she knows exactly what she is doing. Tastes like home cooking to me---yum!!!

Very tasty, busy, and family run. Super decorating. Clean and fresh. Loved the fried bananna. Very reasonable.

It may be excusable that it is difficult to source Thai ingredients at such a remote location, but the technique isn't there either

Food was bland and tasteless. Felt more like a stir fry than a Thai curry, very dry to eat with rice.

first off there was 1 person there other than us and it took about an hour. second they messed up our order. 3rd

Quite good, authentic flavors

I have eaten at many Thai restaurants, especially around San Francisco. But this is simply the best I have ever found! Their Thai Lemongrass soup is spectacular! And they have some of the best curries I have ever tasted! Add to the quality of the food their lovely setting and the real family atmosphere, and you will find yourself coming back many times, as we have. I wanted to go tonight, but sadly, they are closed Tuesdays! Too bad....

Viraporns has consistently been a really great place to satisfy our craving for Thai food. One of the best restaurants our coast has to offer. If you are from the city, it will no doubt not measure up, but it's good food and a nice environment - take a stroll down to the beach before or after dinner and enjoy!!

My cousin, a local for 40 years, says there is nothing better in the Fort Bragg - Mendocino area. Being from San Francisco, we thought it was nothing special.

Excellent Thai food, curry, pineapple rice, spring rolls, and chicken satay! I go there often and it's always delicious. The reason I go there more than other places is because it is quiet, you don't get overwhelmed by other peoples conversations because it is in a large building.
