Classic Thai entrees, from curries to BBQ chicken, presented in an elegant dining room.
Parking was easy on a Saturday afternoon first time in this restaurant. The inside looks clean and we were seated right away. We ordered Thai BBQ Chicken and my wife ordered Chicken Pad Thai and a Papaya Salad. We also took home Hainanese Chicken. They were able to take our orders right away. Our orders came out pretty fast. All the food we ordered has huge portions and are great tasting. Will be coming back here again!
The food was excellent. We enjoyed satay, fried rice with seafood, spicy catfish, pad thai, Thai beef salad and gravy noodle. I particularly appreciated the Thai beef salad's spiciness and good beef texture. The Pad Thai dish was pleasingly seasoned with a hint of sweet tomato paste. However, the Spicy Fried Rice was satisfying enough without being overly spicy. Despite its location in the samePlaza. With other restaurants, finding parking could be quite challenging. We will be back for more.
First of all, the service needs a lot of improvement. Every time we tried to call the older waitress over, she was too busy with other things. My friend had asked for brown rice, and she brought him white rice. Then, when he insisted on brown rice, she turned around with that very same bowl and asked me if I wanted white rice or brown with the dish that I had ordered. Why wasn't I asked this sooner?
When it comes to spice levels, if all they know is "mild, medium, spicy", then why the h*** does the menu say things like "negligible", "reasonable", etc...? I suggest everyone else announce their spice levels according to the menu, and get a good laugh as well.
While Thais don't use chopsticks predominantly like the rest of Asia, it would have been nice to at least provide a fork on top of the spoon for the noodle dish that was asked. With just a spoon alone, the contents kept slipping off.
Flavor-wise, the curry needed more flavor. Not as thick, it was too watery. The fish I ordered was OK at least, in that it was cooked well, the skin was crispy at certain parts, but the sauce that they used didn't seep into the flavor of the fish. Still OK. The uncooked baby peppers were a nice touch. That was honestly a first anywhere else. If I had to come back and give them another try on the food, I think I'd get takeout next time, and just avoid the lack of service.
I've had the pleasure of dining at this Thai restaurant twice, and both experiences have been exceptional.
The Chicken Pad Thai and Yellow Curry are standout dishes – flavorful, aromatic, and expertly prepared. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable.
What impresses me most:
The food is consistently delicious.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
The atmosphere is lively, reflecting the restaurant's popularity.
Despite being busy all the time, the service remains top-notch. The staff's efficiency and warmth ensure a pleasant dining experience.
If you're looking for an authentic Thai dining experience in Cerritos, look no further than Monora Thai. The food here is truly exceptional, showcasing the rich flavors and vibrant dishes that Thailand is known for. Each meal is prepared with care, and you can taste the freshness in every bite.
The atmosphere at Monora Thai is just as delightful. It has a warm and inviting vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff treats you like family, creating a welcoming environment that enhances the dining experience.
I can't wait to return with my kids to enjoy more of the delicious food and friendly service. Whether you're a fan of Thai cuisine or trying it for the first time, Monora Thai is a must-visit! Highly recommend!
OMG??? EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD??? Okay let me go in order. The Thai tea.. was the best Thai tea I've had in so long, and for the portion the price was just right in my opinion just as the other meals, PLENTY FOOD FOR SUCH REASONABLE PRICES IS CRAZY THESE DAYS. I got the kimchi tom yum, and omg. See I'm not s big soup person unless it's pho, and this tom up was so good you guys. SO GOOD. It was the right amount of spicy and sour and the kimchi tasted so fresh. We also got the cucumber salad, and this was new to me because I usually get cucumber salad at restaurants but the style, presentation, and taste was completely new. I liked it I definitely did enjoy it, it's my second favorite kind of cucumber salad right now. I also got the cream cheese wontons, the crispyness of the wonton itself was decent and the cheese was so smooth I enjoyed it AND IT WASNT ONLY 4 PEICES GUYS THIS IS IMPORTANT IT WAS LIKE 8 FOR AROUND 8 BUCKS??? WOW. My boyfriend got the pineapple fried rice, I'm not s big fan or fried rice or anything but he really liked it and it was a big portion and he almost finished all of it. I ASKED FOR BOXES FOR EVERYTHING BECAUSE GOOD FOOD LIKE THAT SHOULDNT BE LEFT BEHIND. The atmosphere was super calm and I really enjoyed myself please this place deserves an award.
Unclear about how service or atmosphere is because I got Uber delivery, but this place has a BOGO on certain dishes - hainan chicken and green curry is what I ordered, and I was SO surprised at how good it was. The hainan chicken was especially the winner. The rice was phenomenal and the sauces they gave were so good.
Def ordering from here again. Everything cost me $32 or so

Heads up - On UberEats, they use a super deceptive "buy one get one" promo.
Their regular-priced 24oz curry is $15. OR - if you do the bogo promo, you get to buy one 12oz curry for $15, and get the other 12oz curry free. So with or without the promo, you are paying $15 for 24oz of curry. There is no discount; they just use the promo to make you feel like you're getting one.
C'mon restaurant, why you gotta be like that?
I always order food to go from here but today is going to be my last day order from this place .
The foods was so plain , they seem to put frozen vegetables and frozen meats . As u can see the picture below .
Tom yum doesn’t taste like near regular Tom yum .. the look even horrible. Just look in the pictures .
Spend 50$ for those 3 plats and it such a horrible food for us today .

We come here often to eat, pretty much every week. The food is exceptional, the portion sizes are good too. However, I would like to mention that the service we received the last couple of times was from a middle aged server with short, brown hair and she was quite rude and unpleasant, she also seemed to mock us when we asked about altering spice levels for certain items. On one encounter she made us wait outside for a table which was fine. However, another family walked in after and were allowed to stay inside the restaurant for a table and were given priority seating over us. It is truly disappointing because we enjoy coming here. There used to be another younger server, she was super sweet and friendly. I haven’t seen her around though. Please treat your staff on professionalism!
Fantastic food and excellent service.
Simple spacious atmosphere. Older condition otherwise it’d be 5 stars
Highly recommended
Very reasonable prices too
Good food good flavor and the price is also pretty good 👍

Although this place is simple and not very fancy, it offers great value for money. The food is delicious, comes in quickly and the service is great.
Our server Tina was indeed very courteous and helpful. We had a vegetarian green Thai curry with steamed rice and a Salmon Teriyaki which was also served with jasmine rice and a meso soup.
They also offer ‘Lunch Special’ at $10.95
Will definitely visit again here.
The portion is not very small but the food is amazing!
Great flavors!
The BEST red curry I've ever had. Portions are large. I love spice and have tried most of the spice levels. Even the mild has a little heat.
Simply good !
It’s ight… had better.
Horrible rude service. No silverware no napkin. Had to ask for anything. No thank you or any aknowlegment i was alive. No im sorry nothing. Never again
Really good fried rice & the garlic & pepper beef is very delicious but favorite is the spicy seafood soup must try !
Love the lunch portions! Food was good.
Food is good. Portion size is small and they are very skimpy on the protein.
A couple of friends and I stopped by this place to eat before we headed out for an event nearby and let me tell ya', it was great. I'm a bit bummed that every other placed was packed and this place was empty (especially when you know some of the surrounding area's food is.....meh). The food is geniunely VERY good AND you get A LOT for what you pay. All of us chose a main dish that came with appetizers, soup and rice for about 24 bucks.
It does seem like a lot for the price, but those portions are HUGE. I was able to eat some the next day.
Not only that but the service was great! The server has such a sparkly personailty, I wish I had caught their name. Owner sat a few tables by prepping food. As an ex-resturant worker, its just nice to see the workers put in such passion into their food.
Please, if you have the time and money to go here, DO IT. I want to come back to this bussiness in the future. I don't know if it was just a slow day for them but I want to see them still operating and continuing to serve food. If you're influencer and are somehow reading my review, do not gate keep this place.
Anyways, I've said a lot. It's love at first sight and I'm defintely coming back!
I've had a variety of really good dishes here. The red curry is the best I've had anywhere. I also particularly like the Pad Kee Mao and Thai fried rice.
The Pad Thai (5/5) was hands down the best out of the 4 dishes I tried tonight. Seasoning was perfect and the noodles were nice and chewy.
Second was the Pad Kee Mao (4/5), also known as drunken noodles. Got it with tofu—medium spicy.
The Tom Yum (4/5) was pretty good too and the medium spicy had quite a kick to it. The small bowl was big enough for 3 people to share a couple of sips.
The Rad Nar (4/5) wasn’t bad either. The Chinese broccoli drenched in gravy sauce was delicious.
Service was great. Parking can be a bit tricky during dinner time.
Well it is my favorite place from all aspects
Food is great!! Service is quick. Panang curry, drunken noodle, the chicken wings, and pad see ew all tasted great.
I've been looking for a go to Thai spot for forever. I finally found one. I went with a friend and I was genuinely pleasantly surprised. They're an underrated spot since the places in the same plaza are super popular. BUT this place is delicious, there's some SOLID food here and I 100% plan on coming again.
Usually not crowded, reasonably priced, decent portions and a little slow on the service. Still worth the price of admission.
Very slow service. The food was okay. We ordered 4 dishes. The soup and the Monora grilled chicken came out about 10 minutes. We finished to those 2 dishes but the other 2 still didn't come out. There was only 1 waitress for the restaurant on the New Year day.
Very nice place 👍
Worst place to go
Monora is located on South St in Cerritos, wonderful Beef Pad Thai, Satay, nice Soups and Curry !
Best Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice ever 🫶🏼🙌🙌🙌 they also have vegetarian options and the price is also awesome. Highly recommended ❤️🤗 Pad Thai and Noodles are great too
Omg. My new favorite Thai restaurant. I want to live there!! Service is excellent. Prices are reasonable. Food is to die for. Servings are large. Try the dessert mango with sticky rice. Gone to heaven😆
Great food and friendly staff. Dined in. Ask the owner, or server, for suggestions. He has a curry specialty from home that is delicious. Had Chicken Pad Thai, which came with soup and chicken kabobs. My daughter had the 'home' curry special and it was delicious.
Decent Thai food
Really flavorful Thai food! Fun staff too.
The parking situation in this center is horrible! Not enough handicapped spaces. The food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely return to try other dishes. The food portions are huge, enough for 2 people to share.
Yummy.
The food is incredibly delicious and the service great too.
Almost forgot to leave a review, We place an online order it was a pretty big one to our surprise each of our order was packed nicely and neat, the hostess was nice and friendly and the food was amazing I would recommend the green curry and Thai tea. They even gave us a free order of their Pad thai which was very yummy. They have a great selection of Asian fusion food here, you could customize your order if you don't like something and don't want it on your food they'll do it if you ask them politely in person or online , would highly recommend to give this place a try.
Fu
Clean. Good service. Try the appetizer fried tofu 👍 also the drunken noodles. Both yummy. 👍👍🤗
I ordered 2 Thai boat noodles 1 spicy and 1 no spicy, but they made a mistake marking the lid. So my son can't eat spicy had to mix milk in the soup. I let them know, first the lady said the kitchen didn't put any marks , which they did put 1 NO for no spicy and the other one SP for spicy. Then the manager said " So what do you want? " rudely. Finally, he said he will give me another one and hung up. Without even asking my name.
I will not come back to this place again.
Staff service are good but food is not that great. It needs more seasoning.
Ordered 1 noodle dish & 1 drink to go from here online thru an app. It said it would take 30min which was fine since I was running errands anyway. Then I went in at the time it was supposed to be ready & was told to wait 5 more minutes (turned out to be 10-15min). The food was pretty good but I'm pretty sure they hadn't even started cooking it when I walked in... probably due to a large party that was eating in at that time. But still 40-45min for 1 dish & 1 drink like what is the point in ordering beforehand? The first male staff was pretty nonchalant about my order not being ready but the female staff who handed my order was pretty nice. Overall don't think I'd go back because it's not super worth it, especially if you believe your food will be ready on time.
Decent food. Large portions for the price. Decent service. They do use Costco chicks.
my favorite thai place, pad see ew is delicious, as is the spicy basil eggplant
Have been ordering food from this place for a while now. Love the red and yellow curries, Drunken noodles. Recently placed an order for our large party. The food was delicious! Same great taste as in the restaurant. Generous portions. It was ready for pickup exactly at the time specified! Thank you Monora Thai! I am sure yours will continue to be our go-to restaurant for Thai food!
This is our go to place anytime of the day. The food reminds us of our visit to Thailand. This is the only place in the US that has connected to Thai food. The service is amazing.
Vietnamese Coffee was great!
Same for Drunken noodles 😋
The Tom kha was pretty bland and beef salad was average.
Staff was super friendly. Great service overall.
Very tasty and reasonably priced
I've been buying from Monora Thai for years, and I love it. Their food is always delivered well packaged with care, and the food is amazing. Highly recommend.
Usual menu of Thai cuisine. Pad see yew, Tum yum soup, spicy eggplant, and crab fried rice were great.
We always love coming here and we always get excellent service from very friendly people. Recently took my family from out of town. Full entrees plus drinks and mango sticky rice for our party of 9 cost less than $180- crazy! Fave dishes include pad see yew, teryaki salmon, pad Thai and the only angel wings we will eat from anywhere. Lots of leftovers for everybody. We love it here.
I like Thai food so much. But it's hard to find a good house.By the way, I can feel the sincerity of this restaurant's food. Also, it's good to keep the same taste all the time.
The food is really good one of my favorites restaurants ever
Seafood salad, pad see eew, fried rice, tom yum soup, and fried shrimp. Cannot go wrong. Yummy time.
delicious and kind.
Visited this place for the first time for Mother's day today!!! I'm so glad we did!! We love Thai food so much and hadn't found a good Thai restaurant in the area for years!!
Monora definitely tops them all!! Delicious food, very friendly service, great atmosphere! We had the Thai bbq chicken, Cashew Chicken, Tom Yum Soup, Shrimp fried rice and shrimp chow mein. They were all delicious!!! We will definitely be back!!! And shout out to Ricky our amazing server!!😋💕
Friendly staff
Got our food fast. It was delicious
Place I clean, spacious, speedy and friendly but the food is not cooked the way authentic thai should taste. I didn't have thr heart to tell the staff because i respect the culture so much but I was a little disappointed by the freshness of shrimp and broccoli and the rice were a tad stale at the bottom of the bowl. I ordered broccoli, shrimp and brown rice. maybe it was just this particular dish that was not as fresh to taste but I have had authentic thai before from people from the country and it's usually way more fresher. The shrimp seemed like it wasn't freshly brought from the ocean and the broccoli was over fried a bit lie chinese food. I wish that they would buy different shrimp that are crunchier and steamier with broccoli that also crunchier and steamier. I'll post more dishes after I try them.
Ordered the red chicken curry and pad thai, it was absolutely delicious and the portions were enough for leftovers, yay! Ordered online, took me 15 mins to drive over and it was ready with an extra free chicken pad thai!!!!!! The employees were friendly and very efficient. This is definitely the restaurant of choice when your craving Thai! Absolutely loved it!!
My wife and decided to try this place since Gen was so packed and BOY we are so lucky!!!! Their food is super fresh and very good portions but the taste!!! The taste alone is amazing, perfect, tasty, beautifully spiced and hits every note on your tongue. Their red curry, the spicy sour soup with the mushrooms is a MUST HAVE. I gotta visit a minimum of 2wice a month!
Great Thai Food. The service was friendly and fast
Always love coming here even though now I live in San Bernardino and I'm 60 miles away this place is worth it you cannot go wrong would be panang curry or the chicken fried rice
Good food snd prices
Good food.
Best beef salad around and their noodles are top choice.
Really good food we enjoyed
This place is great. We had spicy rice, spicy noodles and Garlic beef. We have been looking for place for at least 6 months. Friendly and fast service. This will be our new go to and its worth the drive. If you love good Thai food, check this place out. Very busy on the weekends, not alot of seats. Weekdays are better if you want to dine in, unless you like crowds. Lots of other places to check out around there as well. We will be trying those as well.
Great food, friendly people, best bang for your buck in a little restaurant!
Always excellent food. Authentic thai food. I like how they do not put sugar in every meal
A great, chill spot to enjoy some thai food. It's kind of in the corner and relatively small compared to the other restaurants in the plaza but definitely worth the visit. They'll do right by your favorite dishes!
Good-tad pricey I thought...
Great food
Good food. Good service.
How can I possibly enjoy the meal when I can't even find a parking space?! After waiting for 45 minutes I decided that it is not worth a long trip to visit.
Service - It was mostly a one man show in the front, but he did good and kept up on top of us.
Food - Fair prices, the taste and freshness is good, and the large portions are great.
Table servings - Came with my daughter and they gave her a cool cup and plate to use that she really liked.
Parking - Plenty of parking.
Venue - Good size place with decent amount of seating and clean.
Overall great experience and would come back.
Their lunch specials are such a great deal!! Food is always great.
The food is really good. Staff was very kind .
Found this place on yelp and glad I did. Enjoyed the food, service, and friendly staff. Everything we ordered was great!
Great food! Been coming here for over 6 years!
Good tasty food. Service is a hit or miss sometimes but the food is really good.
Food came out quickly, everything is reasonably priced. Nice staff.
Monora Thai is an outstanding Thai restaurant and I should know my 1st experience of Thai food was in Bangkok while I was in the NAVY. They offer traditional Thai dishes and do not skimp on the portions. The chef knows how to make delicious plates and 2 of my favorites there are the pad Thai noodles as well as the crab meat fried rice.
Very good good.
Surprisingly very good food. One of the best pad sew I ever have
We have only ordered food for delivery, but I must tell you its top notch food and service! Seems like we get it at least 2 times a month. Come on guy's..Bacon Fried Rice!! Bomb! We love Manora Thai!
Good food. A little expensive for amount you get. But good.
Food is delocious
Food was ok but not as great as I had expected based on reading the reviews. Service was average. Gratuity is included in the bill.
The best Thai food. Try curry fried rice and khao soi.
Spicy Basil Asian Catfish is a must try
Really good food!
Service is great
Enjoyed the food here. Drunkin noodles and Mongolian beef is a good combo.
Great food! Customer service is good! Love the Pad Thai! Lunch specials until 3pm.
I've never dined in at Thai restaurant. The food was very fresh & delicious. Besides my friend and I, there was one couple in there. I'm not sure why it was empty, the lil place had great food. I'm thkg because school just started and people were coming home from work. It is a Monday; hopefully it's busier toward the end of the week and weekends. Definitely going back to eat there.
Best Thailand restaurant in cerritos.
Delicious shrimps salad. Love it!
Authentic and generous portions! Servers are friendly and attentive. Brothless pork noodle bowl is my favorite.
One of my most favorite places to go for LARD NA, Crying Tiger and Thai Boat Noodles !!
WHY?? Because it's authentic, fairly priced and I don't have to drive all the way to Hollywood or Monterey Park to have a good meal when there's MONORA THAI right here in Cerritos.
The parking lot can be a mess at times because this shopping center has some of the best restaurants in town hands down. You might not agree... or maybe you do.. but you won't know until you sit down, relax and eat. :)
I love this place but I think it made my stomach hurt for two days after eating there.
Super friendly extremely tasty Thai food
Its awesome. The best thai place ever. I recomend the spicy basil egg plant, chicken fried rice, and the drunken noodles.
