And the tofu was over fried to the point of tasting bitter and rubbery. Not good. Then the spicy fried rice with chicken came out and it was… soggy! Like laughably soggy. They must have run out of cold rice; nevertheless the quality could be described as something similar to a newbie making fried rice for the first time. The only things that were decent were the shrimp rolls and the Thai tea, but that’s not enough to make this place good. Big X mark for me.

First off when I walked in it was nice and cozy especially when the cute waitress greated me and my family! Our food was yum, it also came out very fast. I'm pretty sure that this place is a family business which makes it 10x better to support. We had the waitress snag some suggestions for us and that was not a regret what so ever. She picked out so many good dishes I barely remember but I remember how good the mango sticky rice was!

We ordered deep fried tofu, pan fried basil chicken, pan fried cashew with tofu, pineapple fried rice with beef, pad see ew with shrimps. We liked the pan fried dishes and pad see ew. The fried rice was not bad but the beef is super dried. Deep fried tofu is crispy but doesn’t have too much flavor (pretty bland), but my toddlers loved it! The price is good. Staffs nice are but very under staffed. We just went to the front desk to order on our own.

At the price mark, the food is excellent. I am a big fan of the green curry here it is really great. Also an enjoyer of any wide noodle stir fry. That the restaurant doesn't overdo the seasonings and flavors is a win for me. The folks who work here are really friendly and provide good service.

Came on a Tuesday for lunch and we got seated immediately. Ordered a medium spicy pork pad thai my friend got a mild pad kee mao. Got complimentary option of thai milk tea or thai coffee (no dairy free option).

The food was delicious and we both had take out with the large portions. Will be back when I'm in the area.

By far, the best Thai food in CV. I had a dinner and ordered the namesake dish (Pad Thai-dinner). I had the prawns. There were about 10 of them in the scrumptious noodles and that's a good helping (even for a dinner). It was a very plentiful serving and was medium heat. Ask for the pepper tray to spice it further (red chillis in a fish sauce were hot and yummy).

My only beef was with the hotness of the dish. I asked for it "hot" and the waitress nodded in agreement. But it wasn't that hot. I 'needed' the pepper tray to spice it up a bit more. I was the only patron in the place and service was spotty. An employee was eating and facing away from me. So, I had to get her attention anytime I wanted my water topped off or anything else (like the bill?). I took a star off because of the lack of service and my wanting my dish hot/taste.

Make no mistake, this is a good place. But the service was a bit lacking. I'm sure eating a lunch here would be better, since there are more wait staff. The food itself was very good. The place has a homey feel to it (probably a former residence, I believe). Parking is a bit of a challenge but you'll figure it out.

Edit (2/22/23): ate lunch here today. Food is still very good and very reasonably priced. While most restaurants have increased prices 25%-35%, these folks have raised prices .50-cents on most plates/meals. You still get a small salad with a lunch special too. Their food quantity is still great as well (I barely finished my lunch special plate). I ordered their pad thai/hot and it was delish. It was a bit awkward/communication but I think my waitress was asian (english was probably not her 1st language). One of the very few thai places that still have a pepper-condiment tray. They keep their 4-star rating.

Green curry was delicious! the noodles were cooked beautifully, and the Thai tea was amazingly perfect. There was a lunch and dinner menu which I was unaware of until afterwards. The portion size was perfect for one person, and came with a drink.

This is a family owned business and the young server who was managing customers did a wonderful job. Definitely coming back.

이곳을 알고난후로 한달에 두번정도는 가게 되는 것 같아요. 가격도 비싸지않고 메뉴를 시키면 밀크티도 마실수 있는 것이 제일 장점입니다. 가끔 사람이 많으면 메뉴가 늦게 나오지만 대체로 친절하고 맛도 양도 좋습니다.

Eh, nothing to write home about.

Location is small and you'll easily pass by it in your car resulting in having to do a U-Turn on a fairly busy street.

Taste was good - but 4 people to eat with normal plates cost us about $140

Food was okay - I personally got the chicken curry with sticky rice. Delicious - but the other 3 in my party weren't that impressed with their assortment of dishes.

Service was okay- it got better along our stay. We probably waited 15 minutes in an empty setting for her to take our order.

Overall - okay at best experience and bit steep in price for what you get.

My sister & I highly recommend this family- owned local gem. I love their Thom Kha (coconut soup) with shrimp or tofu. I always request they add extra green veggies (& they gladly accomodate) which after splitting the chicken satay skewers, the cucumber salad & a side of white rice with my sister, we always have enough to take home for a 2nd or 3rd meal. My sister loves their yellow chicken Curry. Adding extra green veggies also extends her dish for at least one more meal. We always add the Thai Ice Tea as a treat. But if you're in the mood for pad thai, trout, catfish or mango shrimp, you also won't be disappointed. Great prices, large portions, kind and supportive service. Eat in or take out. Their food lacks flavor. I got spicy pork fried rice and Thai beef stir fry. The fried rice was absolutely bland and was nothing near spicy and the stir fry beef had not flavor in the sauce . The beef was chewy and not tender. The usher was not hospitable too.

Was craving some Pad Thai, and came across this place on my way home. The Pad Thai was amazing! It was creamy, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned! I couldn’t have asked for a better Pad Thai.

I drove passed this restaurant and never noticed it before. This restaurant is very good. Friendly server. Delicious authentic Thai cuisine. Great prices and fast service. Dine in or take out. Cute little restaurant nice seating and decor. Beautiful art work. There's a parking lot in the back. Mmm hhmmm delicious food we ordered seafood Tom Kah and seafood yellow curry the fish melted in my mouth, two Thai teas and a mango sticky rice it came to $43. Not bad, It actually deserves more stars it's just that it was a little bit cold by the window December in castro valley and the door slammed when customers entered or exited. I think that if they played Thai music and had air conditioning heating it would be at least 5 stars for sure.

Ordered takeout: shrimp spring rolls, tom kha, red curry with duck, pineapple fried rice. All delicious. Serving sizes were good and priced well. Will definitely return, although I wish they had online ordering setup.

Currently our favorite Thai food spot. Wonderful satay, pad thai noodles, Tom kha soup, and curries. Other family members also love their food. Very nice staff, and service is always good when doing takeout. When they are packed (pre-pandemic since they're not allowing indoor seating right now) service does slow down a bit. Not a lot of parking; there is a parking lot in the back they share with the vet next door. Currently not a problem with the restaurant only doing takeout right now, but could become a challenge when they open for indoor dining. Definitely recommended!

Sadly, due to a mixup with the very first order I placed, another customer had picked up my food. So, when I arrived to the restaurant to get my food, there was not an order to pickup. 🙃 Upon the discovery of the error that had taken place, I had no choice but to reorder what I wanted to eat, in the first place. Extremely good food!! Wife and I loved both the pad thai and pineapple curry with seafood. Customer service was awesome, as soon as I walked in the front door, I was greeted with the most polite man.
