Exotic Thai in Burbank is one of my favorite Thai places. It is in a strip mall. The waitstaff is the best as are the owners Tina and Eddie. They have great lunch specials during the week. I love their spicy fried brown rice with shrimp. (Pictured) as well as their soups, pad thai, and bbq chicken. I give them two thumbs up.

Surprisingly good! And I’m picky. Only got 1 dish, the Spicy Basil chicken. LOVE that they offer a free side of steamed veg instead of rice. I’ve never seen that in 30 years. More veg and skip the carbs! The flavor was intelligent..notes of authentic Thai nuances, maybe even cinnamon or like..? They quickly offered low soy sauce for me since I’m GF. I inhaled the whole thing in my car vs my usual leftovers it was so good. And priced well bs mad inflated. For those reasons, it’s in my Favorites!

PS, for strip mall Thai I’d give it 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️..but including posh Thai places it’s a 4 ;)

This place was awesome! I've been in LA on vacation all week and this is one of the best places we went, especially great for a delicious quick meal at a great price. I ordered the lunch special yellow curry with chicken and white rice, (the curry was stellar!) and had Thai iced coffee (was very good) The Pad See Ew and Tom Kha my friend had (and I tasted) were also really good! The seats were comfortable, pretty decor and the waitress was very friendly and fast. Highly recommend!

The food here at Exotic Thai Cuisine Burbank was great. Dishes such as the wings, wonton soup, the whole fried fish, etc. we ordered just to taste and try out ended up as favorites and amazing in their own way. The other items were very well made too. Ambiance and decor is quite unique, on point, and inviting. The service was friendly and attentive. If we are ever in the area again, will stop by for certain. Would recommend.

This restaurant is incredible, has a welcoming atmosphere and capable staff. Food is outstanding, flavorful, succulent and innovative. They really go the extra mile to make it a memorable experience. The Restaurant is neat and clean. They have nice halloween decorations The server is friendly. The food is good i really like my duck noodle soup. The parking is small but you can park in side street in addition to their parking.

If you love Thai food don't let this place go on untried. The wife had the spicy eggplant with beef and I ordered the spicy Penang curry with chicken.

Got to say the flavor was amazing, can't say enough good things about how delicious it was. I was surprised it was so good and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes.

Not a lot of people enjoying this fabulous restaurant so our service was immediate. We ordered from the lunch special menu. Lunch special prices are $10 a plate. It comes with salad and egg roll white or brown rice. The rice is shaped like a heart which was a cute touch.

They have a happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00 with $3 beers. Designated parking in front street parking around the side.

raving Thai, and got the crispy sole filet, chicken satay, papaya salad, and khao soi. I ordered the papaya salad spicy and to my surprise, it was actually Thai spicy and not American spicy. I usually have to ask for extra chili on the side, but it was perfectly spicy for my liking. The crispy sole filet is dangerous. It's pretty big and probably meant to be shared, but somehow I ended up finishing it because it was so good. Oops! It's soooo crispy and I love the fried basil on top. The fish is so flaky and soft. The khao soi broth was delicious and the chicken in it was so tender. I didn't know Burbank had solid Thai This has been on my list and I finally got to go! Flavor of the month was Dubai chocolate (which they also make and sell the bars as well!) - pistachio knafeh with Nutella was just to die for. So good. My favorite was the traditional, just because that’s just perfectly how knafeh should be. So crispy, buttery, cheesy, and perfectly sweet. I love how the three people running the stand are friends who just wanted to bring this awesome dessert from their culture to people with a fun twist on flavors. I haven’t really found knafeh anywhere that tastes good, so this was such an awesome find. since I usually get Thai food in Thai town in Hollywood, but this was solid! That crispy sole filet... so good and a must try imo. Dip it in the khao soi broth with the crispy basil for a seriously perfect bite.

Asked for utensils specifically on delivery app for order to my hotel room. Food arrived but no utensils. Food was good but missed utensils was a big miss when you don’t have any for soup

The service was bad, we were waiting for our servant more than 15 minutes, food was ok. At the end I decided not to leave any tips but the servant put a $6 tip for herself. I’m shocked honestly, cause I have lived in this country for many years and it happened to me for the first time. Don’t recommend this place to anyone!

This was my first time attempting to order food from this restaurant directly through their website, as I usually use delivery services. The order form on the website clearly specified "delivery," which I double-checked, and I was even charged a delivery fee. I added a tip anyway, believing it would go to the restaurant based on the information provided. However, when my food never arrived, I checked my phone and saw they had called to inform me the order was ready for pickup.

When I explained that I had requested delivery, I checked my order history and saw the order had been changed from delivery to pickup by the restaurant. When I called, the person explained that they had no one available to deliver, but I was certain I ordered a delivery. I offered to drive over, but they said they would refund me instead, as they were closing soon. I even offered to send an Uber if they could wait just five more minutes, but they declined, opting for a refund.

This was disappointing, as the restaurant could have waited a few minutes to resolve the issue and avoid a negative experience. Additionally, I now see three separate pending charges on my card, which is confusing and feels inappropriate.

I would advise caution when using their online ordering system. I wanted to support a small business, but the experience was frustrating. While they do have good reviews, and I might try them again in the future, I’m disappointed they didn’t wait those few extra minutes to ensure customer satisfaction.

This serves as a reminder to business owners to fix issues when they arise, as a single negative experience can lose you a loyal customer.

This is the place for a quick, delicious bite! We arrived on a Thursday at 12:20pm and were finished eating by 1:00pm. The server was super friendly and didn't make any mistakes. They had many good lunch specials options for $12.

The displayed decor is beautiful! Unfortunately the food and service is subpar.

We go here a lot. Great Thai food. No frills. Husband is celiac. They can make a lot of dishes gluten-free. Been coming here for years and hasn’t gotten sick yet. Everything is delicious!

Great atmosphere and very fresh fried rice

This was the first place Thai place we’ve eaten at since we’ve arrived in LA 6 weeks ago that I left HUNGRY! The food was REALLY good, but it was a small portion. As an avid Thai food person, it was the smallest Thai portion I’ve gotten in a long time. While the food was good, I won’t go back. I had the cashew chicken. Service 5 ⭐️’s

It may be because I have been going during quieter times, but the food always comes out much faster than I would expect it to and it always is fresh, hot and delicious.

Food was skimpy the portions

We’ve been ordering weekly for the past few years. A few months back, the recipes or the staff must have changed. The fried rice is no longer consistent or good. The curry is watery and bland. Everything is thrown out of wack. I’d rather they charge more if this is a cost cutting measure, as their food is still very affordable. This only started a few months ago. It’s a bummer, because it’s in our neighborhood. Until they can fix their issues, we’ll be ordering from Summer Buffalo.

Eggplant dish with rice and sticky rice with mangoes were really excellent.

Seriously this restaurant is rake you over the coals. I spent $100 on an order for 3 people they gave rice in a cup for our entire order. When I asked for more you would have thought I asked for lobster on a half shell! They are arrogant and disrespectful towards their customers. I will never go back there …..I can see why the restaurant is always empty. I will go elsewhere and bypass convenience.

They have many plant based options and wine. My two favorite things. My friend had the salmon salad. I will be back.

HORRIBLE customer service. A few months ago, I placed an order online for delivery. The food didn't arrive so I call to check the status of the order. The woman said the order was sitting there waiting on me to pick it up. I said no, it was delivery. Anyway, I live around the corner so no big deal, I went to pick it up. Today, again I placed an online order for DELIVERY and again the food doesn't arrive. I call and like last time I'm told the food is waiting to be picked up. Ok now I'm over it. I said no I placed an order for delivery!! I even added a tip for delivery! This rude lady says I don't care about that and hung up on me. WOW! I call again because I want my money back. The woman says we don't do deliveries. I said ok so why is it on your website then?! She said, I don't know I'm not the owner. SMH. Get it together Exotic Thai.

The food was *quite* good and the prices were rather fair! We got the thai spicy fried rice and the coconut curry (had eggplant and basil in it) and they were both pretty solid! The portions were a decent size, enough for two meals, AAAAAAND the service was *quite* curt and responsive and welcoming!

The restaurant was good I really enjoyed it it was amazing. There were a lot of people at first when we got there but then people just went home. The meals are vegetarian friendly my wife really enjoyed them and the children oh my God they are still talking about how the fried rice taste so good on their tongues. It's right next to a massage facial place which is kind of awkward but the old 1980s picture of fish that says exotic Thai food kind of pushed it over the limit. The food seemed kind of greasy but the grease was so good. This is MSG friendly free. They have these casino signs open and they also cook pho and boba. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean you could almost lick the mirror.

Soup and Spring Rolls) ate all of it myself, But I stayed hungry. Grrrrrrr ...

I was hoping it would taste like regular wonton soup. It’s actually really sweet and not savory like regular wonton.
But the service was great, that’s why I gave it 4 star.

Came with friends for lunch and there was no wait for indoor dining. I got the Green Curry lunch special, a good price for a generous serving size. Staff was friendly and willing to separate our checks when we asked before ordering. Parking lot is small but not crowded during lunch on a Thursday. You can get 10% off your meal if you mention being a customer at the massage place next door.

I live around the corner my husbands favorite Thai cuisine. Although the lady one Friday afternoons has a stuck up attitude. Good food bad customer service, you will have to explain things twice to her and she does back talk when you would like to tell her percisely what you want her accuracy needs work and her attitude needs work.

5 stars, fantastic service, and fantastic food. I have been a long time customer and only recently discovered my favorite dish to be their tum yum pho. The broth is delcious and filled with flavor, and the noodles are cooked to perfection. Would reccomend for anybody who loves thai food.

Exotic Thai is one of the best pho places in Burbank. They have excellent pho as well as other Thai classics like Pad Thai and steamed dumplings. They are super friendly and also great for takeout if you want to enjoy at home!
