We got 3/5 spice and it was perfect spice where we could taste other flavors too along with spice. The service was fast too!! Definitely coming back next time we're in the area.

I’ve been coming here for years and the food is consistently good and has great flavor. We came yesterday during the lunch rush and it was packed. We had ordered to go and our food was ready when they said it would be.

They did a good job packing the food up for to go- they definitely have a process down and the quality of the dining experience didn’t suffer from taking it away from the restaurant.

I think their curries are very good and their soups. Their wonton soup is probably one of the best I’ve had.

BE AWARE: They say they CLOSE AT 3PM. What they mean is, "If you show up at 2:50, you WILL be turned away. I saw a man & his 2 young kids try to get in at 2:55pm. They were CLOSED & refused him. PERIOD. The last thing he said was, "And I'm a REGULAR costomer!"
They're not known for their friendliness or gracious customer service. Good, reliable food; fast seating; prompt ordering (be ready!); quick delivery...but don't expect a lot of conversation & BE THERE BEFORE 2:30 just to be safe.

SO GOOD & crazy inexpensive ($10 incl tip)! Prompt seating & service. Tables turn fast here at lunchtime. Food came out quickly. A small salad comes automatically with lunch. I forgot to ask for fried tofu, but their soft tofu is really good. Almost every entree can be vegetarian. The salad dressing is peanut sauce based & kinda spicy.

Pleasant dining experience and very popular spot right off I-80. We shared their Penang curry with salmon, and pineapple fried rice. They were delicious - I suspected the taste of their fried rice as it looked rather wet than fried, but turned out I was wrong. Everything tasted as expected. We came at 5pm on Saturday, there were tables and we were seated right away. Parking was limited and quite full in the front, additional parking can be found in the back.

Food was great and service was quick. All the things we ordered were super delicious. Pad thai, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, panang curry, spring rolls all were very good. Quantity also good enough. Very reasonably priced.

Best thai food in town, curries and Larb are my favorites. The lunch specials are awesome.

The food is all super fresh, tastes great, and the prices are even better. The environment is pretty bland, and the gals working there are all about getting things done at an elevated pace, which I can respect, so don't expect a warm and fuzzy customer service experience. Just great food at great pricing.

Best Thai in town, hands down! I worked right down the street and used to get take out from this place a LOT. I can't count how many times I have eaten here, and I have literally NEVER had bad food! Honestly blows my mind, everyone has off days, right? Not sure how, but not Auburn Thai Garden. Oddly enough it was probably my 50th or so visit before I ever dined in, which was a surprisingly good experience! As a cult follower of their take-out, I had never experienced their salad, which is downright craveable! Atmosphere is good, and in all my experiences, the people have been very nice. They do close every day for the staff to have a lunch break before the dinner period, and it's just something you get used to. The staff are all hard workers who turn out a huge volume of food every day (at very fair prices), and I personally feel they deserve the break. A lot of restaurants are open for dinner only, so I'm just thankful this one is available for lunch! It's clearly posted in their hours on both their Google and their website. As for the friendliness of the staff, in all of my MANY experiences they have been very nice to me. There is a little bit of a language challenge, which I think some people mistake as the staff being short or rude. Overall a fantastic place and one of the top 5 things I miss having relocated out of the area.

Auburn Thai is hands down the best Thai food in Auburn! I love getting takeout but also often go to eat in with friends or family and the food is always delicious. Vegetarian and vegan friendly! They have excellent pad Thai, tom kha, and panang curry — those are some of my favorites!

I decided to try this place with my wife since the reviews were so good. This place did not disappoint! With several reviews stating this place was better than restaurants in Roseville, we had to try it. Not only were we surprised with the prices, the drinks were great and the staff were accommodating. I highly recommend this place. It's our new favorite restaurant in auburn!

My wife and I ordered food to go for our first time from here... Let us say all of our enjoyment of cultural food was met with our orders. The place smelled delicious as soon as I walked in as well as looked and felt inviting ( again I was picking up our order but still worth mentioning). The person checking our order out when I got there was friendly and knowledgeable on our requests regarding spice/heat levels, we would highly recommend it. And when I got home and we ate it was delicious

Marvelous Thai Food. Thus far our favorite in Placer County. We always order the Thai coconut soup with seafood, and it’s simply delicious. The pineapple chicken rice is delicious. We’ve yet to order something we did not enjoy.

Very simple and clean. But the food is AMAZING. Every dish is so nicely prepared and presented. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious and the other dishes were just as flavorful and terrific as the last. I have never had anything I didn't thoughtly enjoy. The staff are also pleasant and helpful.

Very busy at lunch time. Families and working people having meals. Takeout business brisk. Tight off street parking in a tiny mall on a busy street. Food and service good. Had Pad Woon Sen noodles, Panang Curry Chicken medium spice. Also ordered Grilled Chicken and another Panang Chicken to go. Rice was NOT extra! Prices fair. Will go again.

The green curry and grilled chicken on the bone were both memorably good. The eggplant melts in your mouth, the green beans are crisp tender, the sauce is aromatic and light, and the level of spice just right for balancing zing with flavor. The yellow curry sauce perfectly complements the rich taste of the chicken. If I could give the food six stars I would! And for $8? An amazing find. This was the kind of meal that you remember 30 years later. Seriously! We would eat here all the time if we lived here.

We had some Thai food only a week ago in SF at Osha, so we had a pretty good and recent comparison. I never imagined a day that an Auburn Thai restaurant would be so good, but wow, we were amazed.

Big portions that can be shared. We got pad Thai, green curry, summer rolls and a Thai iced tea. All were wonderful. The curry had a perfect spice to it and the spring rolls tasted fresh.

We loved it, and others seem to as well. We had an early dinner at 520 on a Tuesday to make a 6pm movie and the place was packed already.

Rambutan red curry...yes! Super delicious. I hought it a little weird to have fruit in a curry, but I sit corrected. lol Wonderful. They called it a "summer" curry. That convinced me! I've been remembering and thinking about it for almost a week! How good is that!

Sadly they don't have a base no spice for their yellow cocunut curry but still delicious and the atmosphere here feels nice for me with how things are decorated and set up.

This is our favorite local restaurant for special occasions. We love, LOVE this food. It is always exceptional.

Another constant is how busy it is. There is little parking and the staffing is short. Expect a wait for seating.

The staff is friendly but constantly in a rush. It could expand and still be busy.

I recommend to call in your order, or know what you want before arriving. This will help to minimize your wait times.

We never miss Thai Garden wherever we come to town. So tasty, fresh ingredients, well-spiced. Yum!

Food is always fantastic! But I'm really, really disappointed in the way my order was handled tonight. I called from the Rocklin area and the lady that answered phone left me on hold for the 20 minutes it took me to drive to the restaurant. When I arrived, I told her I'm the person that you put on hold and she snapped at me angrily saying " can't you see I'm busy tonight." I just was informing her so she could hang up the phone. No apologies what so ever!!

Completely over stack the bagged food. All of the food leaked in my car and no matter how hard I try, my brand new car smells like Thai food. They need to invest in better containers or double bag and then provide sturdy cardboard boxes for to go orders. Additionally, They massively under quote times. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered from here and this time I even showed up 10 mins past their standard response of “30 mins”. They were an additional 30 mins behind. Hard to tell what time others were quoted but at least half a dozen customers who arrived after me, had left with their orders.

The food is good, really good. But they are too liberal with their quoted pickup times.

Love the food here, so delicious! We’ve only dined in, the movie theater is close by so it makes a great date night. Parking can get scarce as they are very popular but the food is worth the trouble.

While on a trip for work I had a craving for some quality Thai food. Thai garden doesn't disappoint. Yellow curry with chicken and the Thai garden rolls sounded good. Everything was prepared perfectly. With the side of chili's in oil and some chili paste I was able to turn it up to a spice level just for me. Highly recommend.
