The owner was so kind at checkout offering other recommendations for future visits. This place is takeout only, but don’t let that stop you from visiting! Very generous proportions! Spice level was just right! The papaya salad was fresh and crisp, and panang curry had a wonderful savory/sweet nutty flavor! I am glad that I work locally and will be able to return for lunch frequently and try other dishes! This is my new favorite Thai restaurant! Support this local business!

This is the real deal, and I am not easily impressed. The chef is passionate about cooking the most authentic Thai food possible with the ingredients available here, and it shows. I will be back again and again, but next time I will order native Thai hot, because as far as I'm concerned Thai food should make me sweat or it is not hot enough. Don't be shy with the chilies for me, PK! :)

Only place I can find coconut soup!! They have a spicy scale so you can get any dish at your preferred spice level which is nice. You can't dine in anymore so definitely plan on ordering ahead for pick up. Food and service are great!

Staying in North Little Rock only for a week and we wish we had looked up Chang Thai earlier in our stay. Tasty food, loved the yam nua, and พี่ปืน (the owner) was extremely friendly and helpful. They are only doing carry out right now, but don’t let that deter you!

The owner was helpful, energetic, and kind. He was able to answer all my questions regarding vegan options. I had the pad thai (no oyster sauce, egg) with tofu, sesame balls, and basil stir fry with tofu. The wait for my order was not long, about 15 minutes. I enjoyed all my food (all great flavors!) and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu! Even the other customers before me were in a good mood.

I recently visited for the first time. I’ve had lots of Thai food from all over and I will say it’s very authentic and they are such a lovely and nice family. Service was great and they are very warm. I ordered the yellow curry and pad Thai with chicken. Pad Thai was good but not spicy mainly sweet. Yellow curry was my favorite. I will definitely visit again.

Absolutely great food and service. We were disappointed that the sit down part has been closed since the beginning of Covid. At least they are still able to stay open and provide excellent food.

Chang Thai is incredible. I only wish they had more hours, and every time I'm upset on a Saturday night that I can't get some take out, I feel glad that they have work life balance and have enough business that they can close on the weekends and enjoy their lives, then I get less bothered lol!

The food is so good. This is on our regular rotation- always hot and cooked perfectly each time. Panang Chicken and Basil Fried Rice are my go to!

So good! We've only done takeout but it's so fast, super friendly owner, and the food is incredible. Reasonably priced as well. So far we've had the panang curry, Tom kha soup, and Thai iced tea. All of it was so good we've gone back several times. Highly recommend!

Wonderful dinner after a long day at work. I ordered chicken curry with pineapple and soup with coconut milk, mushrooms, lemongrass, and shrimp.
It is so good. I got a heat level #2 on a scale of 1-5.

Can't recommend enough. I literally have to apply effort to avoid eating there so much, because I'll gain massive weight and go broke if I don't. I swear every day at lunch, a phantom taste of extra spicy pad-thai forms in my mouth and beckons to me like the Sirens in the Odyssey.

Down side is they only do take out since Covid. Up side is they are still open and that's all you need. The Mr. Chang is friendly and talks to you like you are old friends. Never had a bad meal here. Always get the Thai tea. They get the orders out rather fast or you can call the order in. I would go here more if it was not so far out of my way. I use any excuse I can to go get some food here.

The owner who took and gave me my order was super kind and making conversation with me and the others who came in to order or pick up food as well. I ordered pad Thai and made it vegan and it was pretty good! A large portion of food too!

This is truly the best restaurant in Sherwood dare I say north of the river. The owner explained to me that the pad Thai served here is fresh. My wife and I lived in KC for five years and never had pad Thai like this! If you decide to visit bring a friend!

Yellow curry was savory. Red curry was just perfectly balanced. Pad Thai was very good.

By golly WOW! We will be back!!!! We actually ordered a lot but we were hungry so we did not get to take pictures of everything we ate. Lol! For appetizers, we got the chicken spring rolls, chicken gyoza, andtom yum soup with chicken. All three were scrumptious!!! Then we got panang curry with steamed rice and again WOW, splendidly made. Very delicious curry. It had the right amount of curry spice and heat. If you order this order extra steamed rice. You will want extra rice to eat with the remaining curry sauce. So good! Then we also ordered a spicy chicken basil fried rice. Another dish that blew our mind and taste buds! If you want to eat Thai cuisine, you have to come here. It the restaurant is family owned and ran. They are so nice and accommodating! We found our Thai restaurant! Please support local. We will come back and come back again.

Chang Thai food has always been delicious. Friday night I ordered take out. This was right before closing the man was very helpful not pushing me out the door. We talk a bit about the food he call me by name. I must say we have lost this way of serving others. The food is a must try would like to see dine in and Saturday's opened. But most are unfortunately under staffed and just trying to keep the doors opened so I completely understand. Support local!

Let me tell y'all, this place here, it's amazing. It's as close to real Thai food as you'll get here in Arkansas and I'd even wager the Midwest.

I was disappointed that we couldn't sit and need our lunch inside. You really couldn't tell what the kitchen looks like or anything the rest of the building because of the plastic that was up but I guess that's because of the covid. However the food was amazing, the best spicy rice al I've ever had here in Central Arkansas and authentic food will definitely come back and recommend.

Super delicious 😋 I got the Chicken Pad Thai spicy level 4 which gave me a nice sting but still allowed me to enjoy the dish. My husband got the same thing but spicy level 5 which he loved! But after awhile he decided he'd get spicy level 4 next time because the heat got the better of him lol He just wanted to know what the hottest tasted like. Luckily, their Thai tea came to the rescue! We also got two orders of their Seasame Balls which are 8 for $3.75 which I a great price especially because they were so tasty from here.

My family loves Chang, and we've gone there for years. The real expert, our Thai exchange student, gives Chang an enthusiastic thumbs up. The flavors are all so fresh, and we've never had a dish that we didn't love. It's a small family-run restaurant, which we call "Our Thai Diner." You can't go wrong eating at Chang's.

Delicious home style made Thai food. The owners are very friendly and down to earth. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yummy, authentic Thai food from a Thai family owned restaurant. I highly suggest ordering food here as there are no other better restaurants in the area serving Thai food. My favorite would be the national Thai dish—Pad Thai at a spice level of 2. (Entrees can be chosen at a spice level of your choice that ranges from 0 - 10 with 3 as a medium heat, & curries go from 1 - 10 with 3 as a medium heat). Also, when in season, I like to order the Mango Sticky Rice as a dessert.

The tofu wasn't our thing. The wings were pretty good. They both came with a sweet chili dipping sauce that was quite good.

The chicken pad Thai tasted overwhelmingly like bad seafood, I guess there's tons of fish sauce in it. We barely ate any on it.

If we could leave a 2.5 star review we would. 2 stars seems too low, but 3 is very generous considering we bought stuff at the gas station down the street to get the taste out of our mouths immediately after leaving.

Friendly staff. We where seated quickly. The server was helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. Being our first time, we ordered several apps just to try a few things around the table. They came out fairly quick , but there was a bit of a wait in between those and our main course. The food was great and worth the wait. Although we wound up having to take our food to go as something came up. We will go back and enjoy lingering over some good food. I had the Panang and loved it.

CHANG THAI RESTAURANT in Sherwood is always a treat. The food is cooked as ordered, fresh and delicious with the desired level of heat, as requested. There is a varied menu. The appetizers are excellent, and plenty to share. Prices are very reasonable. There is free parking.
