Giving this place 3 stars because the customer service was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately the food was mediocre. The chicken was chewy and the pad thai did not have much flavor. The atmosphere was relaxing and very clean.

The appetizer Pad Thai was a perfect taste for 2 people. The Thai Spring Rolls were a pleasant surprise - loved the mustard sauce. The Vegetable Green Curry was delicious

I am not sure how we missed Cafe De Siam, as we live so close. The food and service was outstanding. There were very few people seated in the cafe, but they obviously do a very busy take out business. The fresh spring rolls were really good, and very different from Vietnamese fresh rolls. The chicken with red curry was excellent. We found the prices to be very reasonable. The owner came to our table twice to make sure we were happy with the food and the service. I highly recommend. We will definitely return!

SO GOOD!! Amongst everyone in our party we tried 2 apps, soup, 6 entrees, and dessert and each that I tried was delicious! It was nice and quiet to eat and our server was so sweet and friendly! If you like Thai food you need to stop here!

Food is good but they messed up my order. I clearly asked for duck panang for pick up and i got home and it was duck in another sauce. I called and was told they never have duck panang. BUT they never said that when i ordered! We came back and just wanted to get the panang sauce. They charge us 5.33. That should have been part of what I ordered to begin with! I think this could have been handled better, they accepted my order but gave me something else then i had to pay extra.

Different Thai recipes than the mainstream ones make this a must try. Don't mind the wait; the food is amazing. Even the fresh spring rolls are different and the spicy mustard sauce it comes with is amazing.

Greeted with a warm smile from a nice lady who I assume to be the owner. She was friendly and sweet. The type of person who’s business you want to support. The food was authentic and tasty. I look forward to exploring more menu offerings on future visits. No frills interior, but very clean. It has been my experience that the best Asian spots tend to be this way. Highly recommend!

Such a diamond in the rough. I very rarely see anyone here, but whatever they do to stay open is well worth it. Their food is amazing! I don't think I've ever had anything bad here. I originally here when I ate meat, and now is a vegetarian I still love it.

The food was pretty good. Customer service was fine. The woman greeted me with a smile. I was disappointed that I paid $15 for a medium sized container of rice with 5 small shrimp in it. The value is mediocre. I try to support local restaurants when I can, but recommend they increase their meat portions & give people what they paid for.

Every dine in experience i’ve had here has been so pleasant! Not only is this the best/most authentic Thai food i’ve had but it’s top 5 favorite places for me and my boyfriend to come eat. Staff is also so kind.

We had Pad Thai and Pad Khing. Each included 2 small spring rolls and a small tapioca dessert. All were very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Excellent deal for around $10 per person. Def recommend!

My husband had Gai Grub (a chicken dish with a pepper sauce and steamed veggies).
Everything was delicious and we recommend you try this place. You will not be disappointed.

We had dinner here on a Friday evening. We ordered #41 with Tofu, #35, and the Yom Kha Gai soup with two Thai teas with cream. Absolutely delicious. We’ve been to many Thai restaurants in Tampa, but none compare to this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. This is a hidden gem. Super clean and quiet calming environment - love it! Does not even deserve one star , I don't understand how this restaurant got 4.7 reviews .. the curry that we ordered had stale tofu . All courtesy that they offered is did not charge for tofu . Save yourself a ride ,DONT eat here !!!

Service was so fast, and I was so hungry, there was no time for any pics of their delicious food! This cafe is authentic, the owner is from Bangkok. The atmosphere is as good as they can do in this strip mall space. The lunch specials are a bargain.

Have been a patron at this establishment for around 20 years. The owner operator is kind and friendly, and with the help of her family, provides the best service, and the most delectable Thai cuisine in the bay area (if not the entire southern USA...I've moved to Texas and have not found another Thai restaurant of this caliber). The Gai Grob chicken dish is unique and a favorite of everyone's. All the other dishes are equally delicious. If you're looking for the best Thai cuisine, served in a quiet pleasant environment, Cafe de Siam is the place to go.

The food is fresh and delicious. Smaller than your average American restaurant meals but you’ll end up full after the 3 courses. This was #7 on their lunch menu (sorry forgot to take a pic of it).

We usually go to another Thai restaurant couple of miles west of Cafe De Siam, and we love that place. This week, we decided to try a different location and picked Cafe De Siam based on the reviews. Huge mistake. None of us liked the food, the food tasted bland, and the presentation was not appetizing. There is also a charge for using a credit card. Won't be going back.

My husband and I have been coming here for over 8 years and have always had a great experience. It is a family business and the owners are very friendly. This is one of the top 2 restaurants that my very picky 3 year old requests to eat at. She loves the chicken fried rice. So do I. I also get the Chicken Pad Khing, coconut lemon soup, Amazing Chicken, etc... The list goes on and on. Food here is excellent! UPDATE: We have been coming here for 12+ years and the food is always consistently amazing! PS - My daughter is now a picky 7 year old and still LOVES to eat here :) My favorite dish now is the Chicken Gang Ped.

Had the Curry puff meat pastries as an appetizer and they were phenomenal! The service is excellent and the staff are so friendly! They will patiently explain any of the menu items you have questions about. I have eaten in many Tampa Bay area Thai restaurants and this is by far one of my favorites. I highly recommend it anyone looking for authentic fresh and absolutely delicious Thai dishes ☝️💯❤️

WOW!! BEST Asian Food in the area! My friend who has a sensitivity to some Asian spices/ ingredients had zero issues with any of the items ordered. It as so good that we ordered lunch and dinner and lunch the following day because we were craving the flavors!!! YUM!!!!

Finally got food here this place it’s close by and I am obsessed! I can’t believe I never tried it before. We got the pad Thai, the massumha, a creamy coconut milk chicken soup& these little seasoned pork pockets! Just wow every bite is delicious... oh and what’s more the lady who answered the phone was so nice and when I went in to pick up she was even nicer and had such a genuine caring nature! Best Pad Thai in Tampa!

BEST Thai food this side of town. I've been going since 1999, and love the food, service, and atmosphere. My kid brother told me to give them 12 out of 5 stars for keeping the family free for 20 years.

Exquisite Thai food, from ice tea to fried spring rolls, Sa-Tay, Pad Thai, Pad Khing, custard and tapioca desserts, and the ginger hot tea.

My boyfriend and I love this place! Owner is super friendly and on top of everything! Food is excellent and fresh. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

We were amazed that a little restaurant in a strip mall would have such delicious food. One party in our group actually took cooking lessons in several Asian countries and is quite particular. He was favorably impressed with this place. In addition, they were very accommodating to a woman with very strict dietary restrictions.

A family run restaurant that serves exquisitely made Thai food and has awesome lunch specials. We always plan to have lunch here when we are in the area. Habitat for humanity is next door as well as an LA Fitness center.

This is a quaint, authentic, Thai family owned restaurant. They always greet you with a smile and their food is always delicious.

Second time I visit. The problem I've encountered both time is in the lunch portions. First time that I ordered duck, they served me a 2 inch patty at the most. This time the shrimp dish with vegetables, only 2 shrimps and tons of broccoli.

My wife has been going for over 10 years. The owner treats her like family! She always goes there when she is sick and the soup and tea is just like YiYi would make it.

Aside from the great lunch deal, I recommend trying the hot Ginger tea, Thom Ka soup, Pad Thai and Gang Ped! Again, you won't be disappointed!!

The cafe is a small little family run Thai restaurant tucked away in the middle of a strip shopping center. We have been going there for years and the food is always delicious. They have a regular and luncheon menu that includes thai egg rolls and dessert at lunchtime.. They do a great deal of takeout business especially in the evening. If you want something out of the usual American diet this is a wonderful place.

Not a fan of their chicken fried rice. It taste like they add milk to their eggs and it sucks to have a chicken fried rice tasting milky. I’ve tasted better Thai fried rice than this one. Very disappointed

3/30/19 first time here. Order appetizer 9- Pad Thai but dinner size for $10.95, (43)-Pad Graprau Chicken and shrimps $10.95 and Cau Pad Supparodt fried rice $10.95. Pad Thai is stirred fry rice noodles with chicken, shrimps, bean sprouts and sprinkle crushed peanuts. Pad Graprau is stirred fry grounded chicken with Thai basil (mild, medium, hot to choose). Cau-pad supparodt fried rice with pineapple. All dishes are so good and tasty. Clean seating area and friendly staff. Want to try other dishes next time if we are in the neighborhood.

I'm pretty shocked by my experience here. Considering how great the online reviews were, I was expecting some yummy Thai food. My wife and I placed a carry out order for two panang curries, mine with chicken, hers with veg. First of all, upon coming home and unpacking the food, both curries were in different styles of to-go containers, which was just sort of weird. Both dishes looked very underwhelming and tasted even worse. Panang curry is supposed to be a super flavorful and well balanced dish, but all I could taste was friggin salt and chicken. No richness from the coconut milk, no fresh basil, no sweetness or acidity, just straight up garbage. Hers was similar but with super overcooked mushy vegetables. After adding my own seasoning it was just bearable enough to eat. Later that night my wife and I couldn't sleep cause we had horrible stomach aches, and then diarrhea the next day. Came in the day after to get my money back and the owner starts arguing with me that they would never put out food like that. I ended up getting my refund because I wasn't alright with paying money to get food poisoning. So... yeah.

We don't live in this side of town anymore, so when we can make it, it's always a treat. We love the Gai Grub. No other thai restaurant makes this dish. The family that runs the business is super sweet too!

My go to is their chicken fried rice and egg rolls but they have so many other great options and for a very affordable price! Was in Westchase visiting clients looking for a good Thai food restaurant (I live in Pinellas) and found this place on Google. 1st good sign, everyone else was a regular and half of them were sitting by themselves (one told me she drives from her job on Sligh and Armenia every Monday which is prob a 30 min drive). They have a lunch special menu which includes two spring rolls for $7.95. The food was very tasty and flavorful. For $2 more you can order off the regular menu if you want more food. And whatever some other reviewer mentioned about the water being good was not kidding. Although I asked for lemon the proprietor told me I would not need it and she was right! She gave me a takeout menu for my client and nothing on it was over $14.95. Definitely will be back.
