No-frills eatery features classic to contemporary Thai dishes, a sushi menu & a drive-thru service.
Really good experience there last week. The food was really good. The service was good as well. The prices were a bit higher than expected, but the serving size was pretty large, so maybe that is why. The building is a little run down and needs a new ceiling inside, but that doesn’t really matter much to me. Not the nicest looking place, but everything else was top notch. I’d definitely go there again and try a new dish. The menu is gigantic.
I got drunken noodle with beef and it was delicious!! Basil spring roll appetizer! My fiance got combination pad thai said it was okay. The coconut soup that came with our meals was fresh and delicious! I was going to get the red bean Ice cream but they were out... so I'll be back. Red bean ice cream is AMAZING! Server was sweet and sincere. We loved her!
I love the panang curry here. It’s very creamy like it’s supposed to be with a lot of flavor. I discovered this place a couple weeks ago and I’ve already returned for more. I’ve tried many many Thai places in Arkansas and this one is now on my top list.
LOVE the rice milk. Good place, clean, good service.
My husband, 2 year old daughter and I stop out of the blue one day for lunch. The food was very good. We sincerely enjoyed talking to the owner. It's worth stopping in.

Great food and staff!
I’ve been eating at this restaurant for 20 years! Love their Masaman Curry!!!

Michael is friendly and the food is always great.
Literally some of the best Thai food in this area!
Hidden gem, delicious food with wonderful owner operators.
Massaman curry 🍛 with avocado 🥑 is my "go to" dish. Chicken noodle bowls are a hit especially for kids or people who are new or shy to eat Thai food.
I went to the drive-through window to order some take out for my daughter, who's sick.
After I placed my order the man at the window crosses his eyes, looks at me stupid, and asks me if I have kids. Mind you, me and my 3 kids have dined in at his resturant before, we spent $ on the grossest duck dish I've ever had. He knows I have kids.
I was about to spend $40 at the drive-through window for my daughters lunch, and he had enough nerve to look at me cross eyed, act stupid and ask me if I had kids. I told him forget it I'll keep my $40 and I will not be back. If somebody's at your business spending $40 you probably shouldn't question who the food is for. Not only did he lose $40, he lost a customer, and more importantly, he lost a loyal customer.
amazing food lovely atmosphere. i’m vegan and he was very accommodating and let me know what i could try. brought my baby and they were so sweet to her 11/10
this place has amazing food and service! it is an amazing small business with the best thai food i’ve ever had! it has vegan friendly options as well. more people should eat here
Great food especially the curries
Owners are incredibly nice and treat you like you are in their home. Food is excellent!
Friendly service, good food. Solid choice for lunch. Place does look run down from outside, but is clean inside.
There are plastic mats on the table, and my arms kept sticking to them, but the mat itself was perfectly clean; but, it would be better if the tabletops didn’t have the thick, sticky plastic mats on them and just had a thick coat of poly, as many other places do.
Benny and her husband do a wonderful job with great food, warm atmosphere and true Thai style hospitality. Thailand is called the land of a thousand smiles. Benny represents at least 1000 smiles. She will not disappoint. I have traveled to Thailand 8 times and this is the most authentic Thai food I have tasted state side.
Beef salad is the best!
Highly recommend!!! The waitress was very kind, patient and sweet! The food was delicious. I ordered the pad se ew and it was cooked and flavored perfectly. My friend had the house fried rice cooked with curry powder and that was spectacular as well. Pork gyoza and crab angels were perfectly crispy and flavorful. It’s the best Asian food I’ve had in NWA. Great prices and serving sizes as well, and they allowed us to bring in a cake for my friends birthday. Will definitely come back.
This is one of our favorite local Thai restaurants. The female owner is absolutely wonderful. She is so kind and remembers every detail of our order. Her husband, or I believe it’s her husband, is very abrasive. It seems other reviewers have experienced this as well. In the past she has apologized for him being grumpy. Tonight my husband wanted Thai, I wasn’t feeling that great so I said I would call in what he wanted as he was driving. I look at their menu, even though we have been there multiple times, as I always get anxious calling in an order, so I like to double check as menus change. I started with an appetizer and incorrectly said “fresh tofu spring rolls” instead of “fresh tofu Basil rolls” He asks me if that’s what I mean and I say yes. I then order “vegetarian spring rolls” and he snaps (what the menu says) “do you have the right restaurant bc you order funny.” I said “Yes, this is Thai Diner and I’m looking at your menu.” He says “On college?” Maybe I’m unaware of other Thai Diners in Fayetteville, but I say yes. He asks what else and I say “hang on let me look at the menu to make sure I say it right.” I put him on speaker so I can read it directly from the menu. He then tells me people sometimes order from the wrong restaurant and don’t pick up their food. If that’s a common occurrence it seems like it would be easily resolved by taking payment over the phone and obtaining a phone number or an online order system. I understand online ordering is an investment for a business but taking payment over the phone and or asking for a call back number would be an easy solution. There was ZERO need for his attitude and he absolutely knew what I meant when I said fresh spring rolls, he just wanted me to know I said it incorrectly. I think it’s important for all of us, especially those in customer service, to remember that people have invisible disabilities and to give grace and kindness. This applies to myself as well. When I hung up my above mentioned anxiety was though the roof. I told my husband I’m never calling there again and I won’t. We will still go there bc we very rarely have to interact with him and truly enjoy the food.
Waitress was so kind! Food was just ok. Not near as good as it usually.
Amazing food and staff! The house fried rice is my favorite!
The panang curry with pork was out of this world!!! I've always been a hard core fan of their coconut soup, but that curry dish shot the Stars out of the sky!!! Love this place.
This restaurant has always been one on the best restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. I hope I'm spelling her name correctly here, but Mrs Benny is simply amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough!
As someone who may have autism (undiagnosed) and has pretty big sensory problems when it comes to food and food textures, this place is a safe haven for me. Never once have they messed up my order by putting things in that weren't supposed to be there, and they have always been the sweetest people. The inside may be a little shady to look at, but it's comfortable and clean altogether. I order takeout often over phone to pick up through the window and they always have it within fifteen to twenty minutes and are super sweet about it! Love this place.
Consistently good chicken and beef fried rice, people who have come with me love their curry and pad Thai!
Staff was great and the food was good
Get the crab angels. Absolutely to die for
We arrived at 1:45, 45 minutes prior to their posted closing time for lunch. After waking our kids up from their naps in the car, we started to walk to the door only to see that all the lights had JUST been turned off including the open sign, ceiling fans slowing to a stop. An employee walked out, smugly telling us they were closing early for lunch. We will NEVER return here after having to place crying children back into the car on our way to another restaurant.
Iced Thai tea is delicious.
Excellent
Great staff and great food. Would definitely recommend.
Every time we come to Thai Diner we have wonderful food and excellent service! If you haven't tried the Mango Sticky Rice, after one bite, it's sure to be your favorite!
Absolutely incredible!! A must visit if you like Thai food!
I am from California and have eaten lots of Thai food from friends that are from Thailand. This just was not close.
So, so good. I got the Khow Mok Khai, a grilled chicken entree with curry-steamed rice and some kind of creamy coconut ginger sauce. It was to.die.for. and as much as I would have liked to, I couldn't eat the whole thing in one or even two servings! The service was wonderful. The place is run down and it is absolutely fine that way. 🖤
My new favorite Thai restaurant. They are open for dine-in which is the reason I tried them. I am so glad I did. The food was amazing. You can tell they take pride in their food. The waitress was awesome as well. She talked to all the customers, she was upbeat and very friendly. I already can't wait to go back
My husband’s favorite meal at any restaurant is the Karee Curry at Thai Diner. The basil rolls are incredible, fresh and crunchy veggies with a delicious peanut sauce. The owners are so friendly and always have fresh ingredients.
Best Thai food in Fayetteville
Note: Dining room is open, and full menu!
love this place! everyone is so friendly and kind and the food is delish. thanks for working during this crazy time!
Is this restaurant still open? I’ve been trying to go for a while now.
I believe that this is the BEST Thai food in NWA. The Diner is quite casual, allowing people to feel comfortable going in after working in the yard. There are booths to allow for a quiet dinner and tables for larger parties. Very nice workers and owners. I recommend the Massaman (sp) Curry. The sushi is very fresh and less expensive than most restaurants around.
Thai diner is a Fayetteville classic. I love their crab angels for an appetizer and their coconut soup is amazing! I usually get their masaman curry or pad see ew. Then for dessert I like to have their mango and sticky rice. It is heaven in a bowl 😍
We always get treated great! The waitress hadn't seen us in a bit and recognized me, asked how we had been. The food is amazing and highly customizable. Best Pad Thai in town. Also, my partner is a long time vegetarian and never gets sick, rare when we go out to eat.
Just ok, nothing to write home about
Thai Diner is a Fayetteville classic. Though a little unassuming on premises, the food is solid and the lunch deal is really good. Definitely try it out before putting it out of consideration!
We have loved Thai Diner for years. It is, hands down, the best Thai restaurant in Northwest Arkansas! The food is amazing and in large portions, and the service is always fantastic.
The crispy fried duck will change your life!!!!
Love their curry! So good!
I enjoy their food, but I can't give them five stars because I feel like the service is sometimes slow and they need to do some maintenance.
I like their Pad Thai (they call it something else), their Massamun Curry, and most recently tried the beef salad. Their coconut soup is amazing too.
Incredibly sweet staff, speedy service, delicious food and very large portions. We won't go to any other Thai restaurant in town! Their coconut soup is incredibly warming and could be made into a meal all of its own. To die for Rama Chicken. 10/10 would stuff their face again.
This is very good restaurant. As good or better than any in this area.
Wife loves chicken fried rice
Amazing, great food and wonderful suggestions from the menu.
Food is quite terrible.
Amazing meal love this place
Delicious food, reasonably priced, quick, friendly service
The restaurant's not fancy,
but I LOVE the food!
Reasonable prices!
Ok
Basil rolls and coconut soup are spot on! Though, they need to invest in fresh chillies. Disappointing you can't really raise the temperature of the dish.
So so place
Place where the food is great and so is the parking.
Good food, good service, good price.
Late 70's, dated vibe but great food. I had their massamun curry and the flavor and portion size were great.
Absolutely fine. Decent service. Decent food. Decent prices. They don't have a lot of staff, so busy times are kind of long. My favorite curry in town. Great date spot
This is our favorite local Thai restaurant. Their panang curry is fantastic!
Great service and good food
Has a great time at lunch with my mother. I had the#6 lunch special (pad Thai with chicken) and my mom had the Pad Woon Sen. Even though there is no lunch menu for what she for they still gave her the soup, that is amazing. If you haven't been before I suggest it 100%. They have fast lunchtime service and a varied menu.
The atmosphere is lacking but good food. (Wide menu selection)
So great and delicious. The service is the best in town, also.
Good quality thai food at a reasonable price. Fast and friendly service. I had the roast duck and mango sticky rice for dessert.
Under-talked-about Thai food in Fayetteville. Thai noodles are great.
Everything was delicious, I highly recomend the spicy coconut soup. Despite being very under staffed, our waitress was friendly and brought our order out in a timely manner.
Long time favorite. They can be understaffed at times but food is delicious and consistent. Drive though take out is handy too.
Love the pad Thai, coconut soup and Thai tea!
The food is extremely tasty and the staff is so kind and helpful. 5/5.
Excellent curries. Friendly staff!
This place was once a favorite for us, but we haven't eaten there in at least five years because the sushi quality declined. We gave it a try last week and were disappointed to discover they have no sushi chef right now. We ordered a pot of coconut soup and basil spring rolls which were all good but not the best I've had. Next time, I'll order the red curry dish if they are still looking for a sushi chef. I'll return because I love the atmosphere here. Perhaps, it's the politeness of the employees, the communal aspect of the food, or the patrons it draws, but Thai Diner creates a rich atmosphere for conversation that makes me feel joyful and a part of authentic Fayetteville.
Great lunch specials, try the Massaman curry.
Best thai food in Fayetteville!
Everything we had was amazing, but the coconut soup here is hands down one of the best things I’ve ever ate in my whole life. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.
Favorite place for Thai food!
Great!
The green curry is amazing.... Got to have it again and again!
Was looking for a good authentic Thai food place, ordered Togo for dinner tonight & very disappointed. The very young man on the phone & in the Drive Thru was SO rude. Their menu advertises Sushi Rolls but he said “they do not make them anymore”. The order took a super long time, we ordered 2 chicken friend rice. Barely had any chicken in either & the chicken that was there was very dry & over cooked. The only “veggies” in our CFR was white & green onions. I asked for extra lime & I came with ONE tiny slice, AND the chicken was dry. Will not be going back.
The food is good, but the atmosphere is lacking.
This place has not only excellent food, but excellent service. The staff knows to keep an eye on you without having to come up to you too many times. I've never had a bad dish here, and while I do tend to stick to my normal hand full of dishes that I really, really love, when I venture out to a new entree I am never disappointed. They have their own parking lot, so that is also such a plus for that side of town. We visit here at LEAST once a month!
Best Thai food in town, hands down. Always fast and friendly, and most of all delicious food! One of my favorite restaurants to eat in Fayetteville! I'd have a picture, but I'm pretty sure Googlers don't want to see just an empty plate!
Good food. Nice owners.
Moderately pricy, depending on what you get, it is definitely worth it as the portions are large and tasty. Staff are super sweet and attentive. My favorite restaurant
This place is really good
Love this place. The only thing missing is a sushi chef.
Good food
Great local eatery. Fresh meals. Cozy atmosphere.
Try the coconut soup!
Great service, great food, sushi is not available temporarily
Best Thai in NWA!! The massaman curry is the absolute best!! And the coconut soup that you get with an entree order is delicious!! Staff is very friendly and efficient!! Been going here for 8+ years!!
Very friendly staff and tasty Thai standards. The Massaman Curry ditches the traditional potatoes in favor of avacado in a very rich peanut sauce; it's a hit with everyone who tried it.
Awesome coconut soup!
It was cold. They reluctantly turned the temp up. The food was good, but not as hot as I ordered.
Solid Thai food, but kind of Buffett quality. I have had much better
This is my boyfriend's favorite Thai in town. He loves the panang curry with pork. I like their fresh basil rolls a lot.
Every restaurant has ups & downs, but notice-- good responses are recent. Poor responses are 5 to 7 years ago. Good place to eat now.
One of my absolute favorite restaurants! Great food, wonderful staff and good portions for the price. I recommend the Thai Noodles and the Coconut soup.
One if the best Thai restaurants in Fayetteville.
Generous serving sizes. Flavorful food.
My favorite Thai place. The absolute best cashew nut chicken in town and the wings of angels are absolutely to die for. While we don’t dine in often, we love driving thru and getting take-out. Simple, quick and easy weeknight food.
Great food and service, only downside is that they have stopped selling sushi and have yet to update the menus.
I've been going here for years. Hands down best Thai in Fayetteville.
Everytime I go here, their food is wonderful. The coconut soup is so yummy. The staff are always friendly and attentive. This is a great place for lunch or dinner for the whole family.
Service was bad. Had to wait more then an hour to get our food. Food served was warm and tasted just okay . It was a sad experience for us. Not going there again!
Appetizers are delicious. Veggies are very good. Great place
Coconut soup is delicious.
Well-made food. Ask for diner dumplings in curry.
Pretty good
Not worth the money.
Really good coconut soup, decent food.
It's Ok, But I Like Spicer Food
Service Is Good And As For
Parking To Me It's Limited
Due To Other Business Around.
Red curry was good, just not as spicy as I hoped for.
