Luckie's Thai Asian Cuisine serves Authentic Traditional Thai menus, Chinese Traditional menus, and Vietnamese Pho soup.
Luckie’s Thai Asian Cuisine is great, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The service was very good they extremely busy when we were there. We received our food quickly even though they were busy. They checked on us several times throughout our meal. We had the Tofu Spring Rolls, the Vegetable Spring Rolls, The Yellow Curry with Tofu and the Red Curry with Tofu without fish oil .The veganized everything. The tofu was cooked perfectly. It was great some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had. If find yourself near Luckie’s stop
and try them out. We’ll definitely be back. Extremely Vegan Friendly 🌱🌱🌱
We went to Luckie’s Thai Asian Cuisine for the first time with some friends. It is their favorite Thia restaurant, and we can see way. My wife had the yellow curry (made vegan) with tofu. I had the Gang Pah, made vegan, with tofu. We also split an order of Egg Rolls. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be going back.
Upon request, they will make your dish vegan.
After adding soy sauce and Sriracha, the food was flavorful. Ordered Pad Thai noodles based on other reviews, and the small flavor present was not very pleasant. Thai tea was great. And very nice staff. Daughter said the egg roll was very good.
I have visited this establishment numerous times and have never encountered any issues with the food or the staff. I appreciate the variety offered and the value offered on the lunch special menu. I'm especially fond of the lo mein noodle lunch plate.
My interaction with the staff has always been favorable, finding them warm, personable and professional.
My food has always been hot, fresh and delicious leading to my repeat visits.
I love supporting small businesses and really wish I could provide a better review. We called in a to-go order and were told the food would be ready in 20 min. We arrived only to wait for 45 min with nowhere to stand except right over the tables where families were trying to enjoy their own meals. The gentleman at the register seemed to be juggling the register, cleaning the lobby, serving food, and taking phone orders. He wasn’t even slightly friendly, but he was busy after all. We ordered orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, and chicken & broccoli. The food was decent, but the veggies were raw and the “fried” rice was basically white rice with a little soy sauce thrown in. The spring rolls were nice and crispy though. It was not a great first impression, but it could have been an off night and I’m willing to give them another try.
Pad Thai was flavorful but the noodles stuck together a bit but taste authentic. The papaya salad was amazing! The beef panang curry was outstanding. Also, the staff was very friendly and FAST! After we ordered, the food arrived in minutes. It was a 'luck' find for us and very happy that we tried it. Highly recommended!
Got take out several times.. Its busy for a reason- very good food- pleasant staff. Enjoyed everytime!
amazing food and such sweet staff i live not to far and come whenever i have extra cash to burn it’s the best

Great food, super fast service.
Luckie's is a special place with the best Thai food we've found during our travels from Alaska through Canada and down to Mexico. We were "lucky" enough to meet Luckie and she was so kind and thankful that we stopped by and made a trip back out of our way to eat here again. Thank you Luckie!
One of my least pleasant experiences with Thai restaurants in AZ.
Absolutely delicious food! Living in vail we don’t have many Asian food options, and I’m so glad that we tried luckies today! The wor wonton, friend rice, chicken pad Thai and chicken spring rolls were phenomenal. But my absolute favorite was the pad Thai! I definitely will be back!
We actually went last week hoping to dine in, but were told there would be a 45 min wait. I was so disappointed when we had to leave because we knew our toddler had a short fuse and might not be very happy for that long. It smelled delicious in there! So today I called ahead for pickup and brought the food home. So happy I didn’t skip out!
No flavor. Dry
Mmmmmmmmmm. 6 star Thai.
This place is one of my favorite Thai places in Tucson! Service is always quick and friendly and their panang curry is soooo good! If you’re a Thai fan, I recommend!
Had the salmon curry and general tsao chicken meal with the purple rice and mango for desert. Food was flavorful and great. Service was quick and accurate. We enjoy trying new places and this one is a keeper for sure.
Love this place, been going here for years. The staff is very friendly and supportive. I want to support them as much as possible. IMO they have the BEST Thai food. We always order Pad Grao Pra and Pad Kee Mao at least twice a week. The food is always perfect.
Friendly staff and good food here. I would definitely return if in the area.
We recently moved to the area and we're looking for something healthy and tasty. We're very glad we tried luckies, it was wonderful!
Small Thai restaurant in a strip mall..
Delicious phad thai and red curry in a basic place with reasonable prices and very good food
Website menu outdated. Prices have increased. Wonton soup had 2 wonton, carrots, zucchini, cabbage, onions and God knows what else. The noodles were slimy and tasted bland.. like starch, not flour and the broth was heavy with salt and had a strange taste. Most Disgusting soup ever and a total waste of $6.34.. The trash can doesn't even deserve it!!
Understaffed. Unorganized and in need of updating and more help.

Ok place for an occasional meal.
The price was a little high. I won't go often to this restaurant due to the cost.
Love their food and it is a very friendly place to go. Great service.
Great pot stickers and WonTon soup
Every time I visit I must go here. By far the best dishes ever! Definitely in my top 5.
I have visited this establishment numerous times and have never encountered any issues with the food or the staff. I appreciate the variety offered and the value offered on the lunch special menu. I'm especially fond of the lo mein noodle lunch plate.

The food is so amazing! I won’t go anywhere else. I always call in my order and the food is done pretty fast and always hot. Highly recommend.
Went here to try the Pho. The broth was sweet. I tried to get used to it but I just couldn't get past the sweetness. Very different...
I get the veggie lo mein or veggie phô. Yummy vegan options.
I have not been there for awhile because of service, a word of warning the food is ok, but you really have to watch to ensure you get what you order. And most important I went there today spent $50 for a to go order and walked away without the rice for the meals. Always check to ensure you get what you order, this happened last time I was there.
I have had a lot of 2 and 3 star Thai food. The food here definitely stood out and was a solid 4.5 out of 5, which means I will return.
Like virtually anywhere, they're mainly using vegetable oil to cook, and if that changed we would have a solid 5 star on the food.
The only thing I wished would be different regarding the food and atmosphere is if they would have given me a fly swatter to get rid of the-- at least half dozen-- flies flying around the dining area.
Or for God's sake at least the staff should kill them if they didn't want me doing it.
Having flies flying all over and landing on people's plates of food, and the possible health consequences of that, should not be up to them.
GET RID OF THE FLIES!!!!
The 90 dollars I spent on the outstanding Chicken Satay, Papaya Salad, Thai Soup, Panang Curry and Pad Thai should be enough to cover that service.
Granted, it is the middle of August, but clean, decent, respectable adults do what they can to mitigate pests in area, that should be as sanitary as possible. Be adults Luckies!
Thanks, and see you next time.
Excellent food, I highly recommend!
The food was amazing. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was genuine.
Great place, never been here before so glad my friends suggested it!
Food always delicious.
I called to ask how long it would take to prepare two items I wanted to order. The person mentioned it would take 10 to 15 minutes, so I placed my order 30 minutes in advance to ensure it would be ready when I arrived. When I got to the restaurant, it was quite busy, and I had to wait in line for about 3 to 5 minutes. When I reached the cashier, they couldn't find my order. Three employees were talking among themselves and still asked me to confirm my phone number and name, which I had already provided. After some searching, one of them said they would start making my order right then. I told them I had ordered 30 minutes ago and didn't want to wait. They didn't even apologize for the mistake or for not having my order ready. If I had waited, they would have rushed my food, the taste will be NO GOOD.
Delicious and large portions.
Best Thai food I’ve had in the Tucson area. Sometimes the service is a bit slow.
Great food and service.
I have no photos of my food. It’s that good 🤣 I ate here two nights in a row.
The pad prik king is AMAZING and so was the pad Thai. I love the Tom kha Kai soup , I always order that to go lol .
The sweet mango coconut rice for dessert was lovely too. Can’t wait to try something new!
I’ll try to remember to take photos next time.
Great food, good flavor, please move closer to town!
I ordered as takeout cashew chicken stir fry and yellow curry, also chicken. Both perfect this time. Yellow sauce creamy. Hard to not overeat because was so yummy.
Fantastic place for Tai food. I really like the Pad Tai and Pho but I've had other things and they are good too. They do get super busy on the weekends in the evening.
First time tonight and we did takeout. We got the Gen Tso and Sesame chicken. This is some of the BEST Chinese I’ve had. The consistency of the fried breading was perfect and slightly crispy, the sauce was phenomenal and the portions are very large. I’ll never eat at Panda down the road again! If you haven’t tried this place, I highly recommend it
Great little dive
The food was amazing and some of the best Thai food I have ever had. This will be a go to when I visit Tucson.
The food here is amazing. It's been my fav in Tucson for at least 5 years. Spring rolls and soup are my fav.
This place has amazing food. We've had the chicken pad Thai, green curry, beef pho, orange chicken (freaking awesome), crab puffs(best I've had in a long time), let's see what else..massaman curry.. Egg rolls are awesome, oh and fried banana which is like a sweet egg roll but filled with banana mmm. Seriously, my wife would eat their green curry every day if she lived next door. We're quickly becoming regulars. Thank goodness. There aren't many good Thai places where we moved from so it's a relief.
Great hot and sour soup. A little sweet but added hot mustard (just a dab). And wow was it good. Shrimp in lobster sauce was a bit bland. Cung pow chicken was great. Hot and spicy.
The egg rolls were a bit mushy inside.
Will definitely go again
Food and service were great.
Luckie's offers a military discount if you show your military ID card.
I used to love this place, the taste is still good, but my husband and I ordered from here this evening, it’s been a few years, but I could not believe the portion sizes now. This place used to fill up the boxes to the brim, and the rice were in big boxes, not these little tubs. We ordered two things of chicken thinking it would feed our family of 4, but I was wrong. Was no bigger than Panda Express. The food still tastes great, but not worth the amount of money you have to fork out. My husband ended up having to go to Panda Express to get more rice.
Better options in the area for this type of cuisine. The one and only time we went, one of the servers (maybe the owner) could not stop talking about their home country and how much better it is than the U.S. it was quite off-putting and I won’t return. The food also did not stand out. Super weird vibe from the “server”. I put off writing this review because I do not like to complain, but it left a horrible taste in my mouth when your main customers are from the same country you are talking down about.
Stopped in for quick bite Gen Tsao chicken with steam rice and drink. It was very good. Will be back next week.
I mean the food is decent. But it seems like every time I try to go, they are closed. Today is the 4th time I can think of. It’s not gonna stop me from trying. Just saying.
Edit- it’s all good now. They have been ope , I upped my review. I really dig em
Great food and even better service! We will be back.
Finding authentic Thai food made with love can be difficult, but Luckie's Thai does exactly that. While they do get quite busy at times, I personally don't mind waiting for a quality meal. I've enjoyed every dish I've tried so far, but I have to recommend the Pad Woon Sen.
I was looking for something else and stumbled upon this gem. They have an overwhelming menu to choose from, but I came in for the Thai food. I've been to Thailand, lived there for about a month back in 2004, and haven't found the simple dishes with complex flavor since coming back across the Pacific.
Today I was shocked by the lunch fare. It was authentic, simple, and the Larb had incredible flavor and spice. It was served with raw white cabbage and lettuce, which gave each bite the perfect balance that immediately took me back to the open air stands I stood in line for in rural Thailand.
I didn't try anything else, but the Larb was excellent. Service was amazing and FAST. The price was also shockingly cheap considering the American sized portions.
Blow this place up with people, it deserves a strong lunch crowd.
Pork Pad Thai was excellent. Generous portion. Very popular. Could hire more bodies to coincide with popularity. Can't wait to go back.
The steady stream of customers speaks for itself! Delicious food! We will absolutely be back! I ordered the Green Thai Curry with Chicken and my husband had the Red. The chicken satay was a wonderful appetizer!
Awesome food, better than panda express
A true hidden gem. Food is always wonderful. Been dining here for the better part of 10 years now. Love them.
Nothing special here
Always good and very authentic. The chicken curry is probably the best I have ever had.
Good prices, nice portions.
Great Thai place! I got my curry Thai hot (bc a lot of places around here skimp on the heat) and I was crying because of how hot it was! So just know they don’t skimp on the heat ahahah. Yummy curry
Soooo good!! We love being able to get chinese and thai fried rice at the same place.
I love Luckies!! It's one of my favorite spots to get Thai Curry Chicken. It can get really busy at dinner time. Just be mindful of that.
Quick service and delicious food! Will definitely be back.
Usually do take out here as it is close to the house. Excellent green and panang curry. Also love the Tom Ka soups.
The best Thai food I've had in a long time. Takes a while to get your food but worth it. If you're going to order take out call 1/2 hour before you get there.
Luckie’s has been consistently excellent in both food and customer service. It is one of my favorite places to eat in the Vail/rita ranch area.
Awesome food and everyone is very welcoming!! Thank you!!
Stopped in for lunch and had the Pho. The broth was pretty good, the service was pretty good. Seemed like the staff was happy and were very friendly towards everyone in the restaurant.
Looking for great Thai/Chinese food? You always seem to find the best restaurants in the strip mall or the "hole in the wall."
Their Thai food is delicious! Highly recommended the Singapore noodles, Pad Thai, massaman curry and Chicken Satay. So good!
Always good. The pad thai is great and my new favorite is the cashew tofu
Okay place, the place is clean. It has a variety of asian dish, not only thai. The reason for 3 star, is because: I ordered drunken noodle, and the flavor and noodle used was a bit off. The food was tasty, but flavor was not fully drunken noofle. We also had a pad thai, the flavor was okay. Overall the place is clean.
Beeindruckend, was man in so einem kleinen Restaurant tolles zu essen bekommt. Einfach Spitze!!! 🥗🍍🌮🥘🍚
I ordered a simple house fried rice, 16+ dollars and it had no shrimp in the entree. Opened the bag there was no soy sauce or anything to wet the dry rice. First time in and last time coming in.
Love the Massaman and spring rolls
Love the Panang curry!!!!
Great food with a large menu. Home-cooked Aisan food. Friendly staff!
BEST crab puffs on this side of town (maybe in all of town). The rest of the food is good, too. The people are SO nice, though it's often very crowded. We usually do take out.
Their Tom Kha is spectacular! Every employee is always working so hard too. Thank you for offering amazing Thai food!
Wanted to give this place another try because last time it was disaster. Food sucked and service was horrible. Besides, the other Thai place was closed for some reason.
The cashier taking the order could be the how not to work as a cashier. He looked sad, seemed annoyed that I didn't here his voice once, didn't know what the difference between Chinese friend rice and Thai Frief rice. He didn't even make an effort to ask the cook what the difference was. I tried not to be harsh about his actions but then I watched him take orders from the next 2 customers and was again a candidate for the worst service.
The food was better than before but still lacked the taste of a good Thai food.
Great food. Very authentic spice levels
Service was a mess. Took over an hour for one order on mine to come in and they lost my friends order and had to remake the dessert over an hour later
Dinner special is great value. Red curry, spring rolls and pretty much everything on the menu is great.
Love it. The fantastic food makes up for the occasional bad service by young kids at the register.
Such an unbelievable selection!! Food fresh and cooked while you wait!!! Super polite service and eager to please.🤗🤗🥳🥳
Ordered sweet rice with mango to go and then sat and waited for over 40 minutes while other people ordered and then left with food in 10-15 minutes.
We love this place, the food is delicious, the owner is a very nice lady, the place is clean, the bathrooms are clean. Super yummy food!
I love this place, no frills just bomb homemade Thai food!
I ordered the pad Thai and Wor wonton soup, the pad Thai is good but I don’t know why the broth for my wonton is so salty. Did you change your chef or someone might put I. Too much salt in my broth.
If you are looking for Thai food in the desert, the food is pretty good for the small Thai population. Just entering the restaurant feels like a small family run Thai restaurant. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao, Papaya Salad with Shrimp and Shell Crab, Thai tea, and the coconut ice cream for dine in. The spiciness definitely kicks which is a great sign for Thai food. The service however is a little underwhelming. The guy behind the counter was wearing earbuds as he took the orders so they often had to be repeated and at some point he was confused but checked the menu to confirm the item we asked for. That should have been the first sign but when it came out, the salad lacked crab. No one said anything at any point in time even though it costs more? At the end, we didn't get the ice cream. We had even went up to remind them we didn't get the ice cream and the number was left on our table the whole time but it never came. Overall not a bad choice. 3 stars for average.
Best authentic Pho in town. Amazing food and great variety in the menu.
Horrible customer service by older man.
Don't order over the phone. I asked for Pork fried rice, the girl repeated Pork fried rice... didn't ask which type of Pork because clearly they have two kinds then when I get there and it's the wrong kind I was told by the man at the counter that they wouldn't fix it because I said the order was correct when she read back "Pork" fried rice, not which type. The customer service here is ATROCIOUS! All they had to do was put the right type of Pork in it. I gave it back and still have to pay full price. NEVER GOING BACK.
Initial review: Incomplete order and refused to refund that portion of the order. Sai Ying always has correct orders and is customer focused
Update: Agree. I apologize having seen the ticket you had is missing the general Tao order. I appreciate your correcting the charge. I’ve changed my review. In fact, the meal we had on 13 May ‘23 was amazing! It’s hard to run a restaurant business, i know. Lucky’s has a database problem and could use some help from anyone who is familiar with their system. There’s an issue syncing the databases between the two cash registers.
Amazing food, it was all well made and tender. I do suggest mixing some chili oil with oyster sauce as it made a delicious sauce for everything else, sweet and spicy. Very friendly atmosphere, a little toddler was walking around and the staff were really friendly and playing with the child as they cleaned.
Amazing food!!!
Amazing food and family friendly staff
Absolutely delicious. Loved the green curry!
I love supporting small businesses and really wish I could provide a better review. We called in a to-go order and were told the food would be ready in 20 min. Love the food here and the service is great!
Always great takeout! Great Thai restaurant!
Good family run place that tries really hard to meet all the Asian food fans needs. Price is reasonable and the food is good quality.
I was so embarrassed to have brought my guests here. The orange shrimp was ok but the three delight and snow peas with house meats (both in the brown sauce) had so little sauce that they were practically dry_not enough to even wet the plate much less cover the food. Very tasteless
It was a rainy day and I wanted soup. I tried Beef Pho and Egg drop. I liked both and will come back to try the rest of the menu.
This incident happened at about a little after 1:00 in the afternoon on March the 8th 2023 over the phone. I'm not accustomed to handing out lower reviews for anybody and I hate the thought of it, but I had tried ordering a few orders of spring rolls from the fella over the phone. This should have been an open and shut case. I already knew given the fact that every other restaurant is the same that peanut sauce comes with these orders. I simply wanted to get fish sauce extra added on the side and then suddenly it was a huge breakdown and he didn't understand simply what I was saying. I essentially said that there should be three sauces in the whole order and not two fish sauces in place of the peanut sauce. A complete order would have been two peanut sauces and one fish sauce making it three sauces for the whole order. The young kid taking my order sounded a bit rude about the whole ordeal. Initially I wasn't going to leave this review and the man even was hoping that a bad review wouldn't be left as to clear everything up which is what I tried to do. However that is not the case this time. I'm sure the food is wonderful but the service that I received on the phone was subpar, disrespectful, and unacceptable. When somebody gives you an order like that in the future, be sure to ask if it's three sauces all together or something of that nature. Thanks.
Food real good
Service odd...slow
Remember your last 4 digits of your phone number
Good soup, place was busy!
Got the Tom Kha & green curry & red curry. Everything was good. Green curry was fantastic. Soup had nice large shrimp with the tails on.
Everything here is delicious
Love Boone best restaurant in town we travel from Safford, Az just to eat
Food is al fresh and cooked as you order. #1 *****
Outstanding food and service. I ordered food for pick up on a Friday night, 1/27/23, and it was packed. The wait time was longer than expected, but the staff was wonderful and the food was so worth the wait! Will definitely continue to eat here!
The mango sticky rice is so delicious, but everything here is, so you can’t go wrong with anything you order.
Excellent casual dining for very good Thai cuisine. Great selections, preparation was very tasty and served hot. Some of the best we've tasted in Tucson.
This is a family owned business and operated well.
Service was excellent and timely.
You place your order at the counter and they deliver to your table. Carry out is also an option.
Luckie's was busy on a Wednesday mid-afternoon, which reflects its popularity.
I waited 50 mins for my food. Good wasn't good either. Only was there 1 time so not sure if they were having a off day.
Foods very good!
Great place for food and service
Great little place.
Food is always fantastic!!
Food is great.
Poor guys need more help. If you need a job, check here!
Great food. Very busy on a Friday night.
This was the first place I ever had Thai food from but I loved it, I always pick it when we eat out now. Delicious! Thai cashew is my favorite and they are great for pick up and eating in. The people who work there are friendly and kind, I love this place!
Very good food. The mango and purple rice is excellent the owner Bun was wonderful
The owner Bun is adorable. She made sure our experience was great. Best Green Curry chicken I have had in ages. So good. Also the Mango & sweet purple rice was amazing!
Ordered 5 things for take out for our first visit. All were spot on delicious. Stoked to have this caliber food on this side of town.
Better than the settings suggest.
This is a fast food style restraunt, the food is nicely flavored and the staff is friendly.
We will visit again.
We have been going here for years with the whole family. Take out and eat in. Always hot, high quality, good portions, and exactly what we ordered. We eat from very spicy to mild and there is something for each of us. It is a great, local family business.
Excellent food, fair portion sizes for price. Nice staff, courteous staff paired with high level of service for what I expected. I am a regular customer of Luckies and we are fortunate to have them in the Rita Ranch area where food options are minimal/lacking.
Witnessed an entitled customer argue with the owner over their order. She had apparently called in an order and then much later changed her mind and placed a new one without cancelling the first one. Owner stood his ground. I don't have all the details but based on how this was handled I will continue to support this small business.
My favorite is there Thai house fried rice and yellow fish curry
Best value fried rice
Delicious Thai food and excellent customer service. Never disappoints. We probably go there wayyy too much, but can’t help it; that place is one of our favs. Highly recommend.
Everything is genuine and great here. Great food great service. You can't beat this spot.
I'm not a Thai gourmet, but this was among the best Thai food I've had. I had the Green pork curry and Thai iced tea. It's a simple take-out place but you can also order at the counter and eat there. Recommended.
Amazing food at great prices!!
Love the food and everything! The decorations inside is so pretty! Definitely a great place for lunch or dinner!
Love the food, however picked up food tonight and there was a new young man working the register. The owner, who was apparently training him, humiliated him in front of customers. I am a firm believer in praising in public and critiquing in private. I do hope this new employee can continue doing the outstanding job he was doing. Kuddos to him
