Loved loved loved this place! The food was all made fresh! The broccoli was crunchy (in a good way) and the sauce was delicious! The shrimp fried rice was very tasty and full of flavor! Also, the egg rolls were filled with with meat not mushy veggies. We also ordered the spring rolls (not pictured here) they were also very tasty and the peanut sauce was served with peanuts and warm!
I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for legit (American) Chinese food.

So I basically paid about 15.00$ for some white rice. I love on social security and I hardly ever eat out because it’s so expensive and I will never waste my money here again. I would like to think maybe this happened because it was so busy but we were the only people there besides one other table of 4 or 5 Air Force guys. I will not be going back I will not throw my money away here ever again. Even if I was offered a free meal I would honestly be scared to death to eat it. I don’t ever wanna get that sick again!

Delicious! Ordered the general tso chicken and lemongrass fried tofu, both were crispy and very flavorful. The fried rice was superb as well! Oh and portions were just how we like with enough for leftovers!! Definitely recommend, Thank you for the yummy food!

Awesome food! I have been dining here since it opened. When I was single and now that I have a wife and kids it's our go to. The Phở has the best broth around I don't even add anything to it. The pad thai pure awesomeness. Teriyaki chicken has a carmalized sauce, it's amazing. I've eaten pretty much everything on the menu except for the cucumber salad. The menu is affordable, the portions are very generous, and very quick especially for pickup orders.

Decided to try something new for dinner and let me tell you, this place did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly staff, a clean environment and when it came time to eat, the portion was HUGE and delicious!

We had delivery, I'm from NYC so I might be biased. But it wasn't good. The portion came mixed with white rice. We ordered chicken and broccoli and general tso chicken. The chicken was stringy and the sauce was non existent.

Second time they have given me the wrong order within a month.

Both the honey chicken and the broccoli beef are pretty bad. We ended up feeding our entrees to our dogs and microwaving frozen Costco chicken bakes instead of eating this.

This little hidden gem has some of the best food feels homemade. The food arrives quickly and everyone is so nice. Definatly recommended the crispy green beans even people who are like yuck to green beans will like these.

I've never had anything that I didn't like here. The only thing they are missing is atmosphere. The teriyaki chicken is wonderful.

Ordered a pretty bland Kung pao chicken. When you order you are asked about which of 3 or 4 sides you want. They are all presented as equal but all of them but white rice cost $4 or greater more. They would change my order after charging $19 for the meal listed as about $13. When I mentioned that they didn't communicate the upcharge, the cashier smugly pointed to a small sign near the cash register.

The fried rice and Kung pao chicken I received weren't worth almost $20.

Always good but stick to the all stars and avoid the Pho.

I enjoy coming here for the Mongolian Beef. Today, the crispy rice noodles got skipped, ruining my experience-the one item that makes this dish unique. Overall, my whole dish tasted fishy and not at all the flavor I was looking for or remembered as being so good before. Leaving items off a to-go order isn't a good look. Might not be such a quick place for me to consider for takeout any more.

Been coming here for years. The food is amazing. They’ve always been great and very friendly. Recently their new staff just doesn’t seem to care as much… already had two bad experiences in a row. I’m really sad to say I might be looking for a new spot to go.

The plates are massive, filling, and affordable in this economy. My partner and I accidently ordered with our stomachs and found that our $60 worth of food could very well serve not just two but a part of four.

The chefs work really fast as well as the staff up front.

There's really nothing negative to say about the restaurant aside from the interior being a bit lackluster, but with looks aside, the meals are delicious.

Restaurant was filthy. I regretted deciding to eat here as soon as I sat down. The blinds were covered in thick dust. The wall had paint chipping off the walls. The ceiling had stains. I felt grossed out. The food was bland. The broccoli wasn't even cooked so it was very hard. Way too many sprouts. More sprouts than noodles. Won't be going back.

Ordered food to go - we live very close by and we’re hosting friends. Broth was cold and the cuts of meat were chewy. We ordered tomato tofu - we were hoping for a savory dish, but the tomatoes were very sweet instead.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of getting a to-go order from this restaurant. We ordered the orange chicken and the beef and broccoli. The prices to portion ratio was great! The only drawback we had was that the food did not have much flavor. And then be from broccoli and mainly tasted Ginger only and in the orange chicken I mainly tasted Bland chicken and Bland sauce

Tons of food for the cost and the best crab puffs!!

Lots of menu options, the food is pretty tasty. I would recommend the crispy green beans and lo mein noodles. In my personal experience, I like how they are quick with to-go orders. They are usually ready to go in less than 10 minutes from putting in my phone order. I paid a little over 12 for a lo mein noodle entree which is combination of shrimp, chicken and beef. I love love love their pho I swear it’s a cure all. Every time I’m sick this is what I get and my daughter has Covid so I’m gonna go get her some right now but besides that their customer service is unmatched they are so sweet, so kind extremely friendly I just love customer service.

I'm hoping it was just this time that the food was tasteless, because their reviews are excellent, which is why I chose Hot Wok Bistro.

This was the first time we tried Hot Wok. My wife and I got the fried rice, crab puffs, chicken wings, and the short rib. Everything was phenomenal. The service was great. The gentleman at the counter offered to make our wings extra crispy which was appreciated. 10/10 thank you!

Fantastic food, we had sesame chicken and orange chicken. Best we have found in Tucson, this will be my go to place.

The food is quick reasonably priced and very delicious. I am so surprised. This is not your typical Asian food place. I will be back many times, and I will bring people with me to eat.

Got the shrimp lo mein - did not need any soy sauce, perfect Asian noodles & veggies (not just spaghetti, shrimp & green onions, like other places), chicken fried rice - again, ate right out of the box - those tiny bits of rice, veggies. I’m more of a veggie than chicken person, chicken was finely chopped & perfect for us. Fried wontons - great flavor!! Yay, fully satisfied & a steal for the quality of cooking received <3

Stopped coming here about 15 months ago when we became disappointed with the food. We just tried again and we were very pleased. Hot Wok is back in our rotation.

I ordered the Beef LoMein with extra veggies, the Beef Phô and crab puffs. The staff was very nice, caring and hospitable. I didn't have to wait long and the food 2as hot off the grill/stove! It was the perfect meal!

First time going there. The staff was ok. I ordered pho and honestly it was so bad. I got sick to my stomach. My bf got fried rice with chicken, beef and shrimp and it was good. Never going back. I usually don’t mind spending money but it did hurt spending that money there.

I got the Singapore noodles and spring rolls. Noodles were very good and flavorful and it was a big amount, fed 2-3 people. Spring rolls were kind of bland but sauce was good. Staff were also very nice and quick.

I order pick up and the food is always delicious and made quickly. They don't have chili paste, which is a bummer. The curry is mediocre but the veggie/tofu lo mein/fried rice is good. Their tofu spring rolls are filling and the right price. This is my go-to spot for a quick meal for the right price

Staff was very nice and friendly. The food was sub-par at best and we will not be returning. The food tasted and smelled (that kind of burnt smell) as if the cooking oil was VERY overdue for changing. The chow-fun noodles were overdone too. Though the tables and floor appeared clean, the boxes piled in one corner and the very dirty kitchen door gave an appearance of apathy of the owners. I did not want to think what the kitchen looked like. We did not take the leftovers. So disappointed!

Hello, we've been coming to Hot Wok for nearly 10 years, the prices no longer match the quality. The price for any extra sauce is $1 regardless of how much it is. Please bring the older cook back, he was the best & the food tasted traditional.

Have ordered quite a few times now - they are always friendly, order is ready quickly for pickup, portions are enormous, and this last time I ordered something they were out of and they called repeatedly until I picked up, switched it out for something else and then added a whole additional order of crab ragoons to make up for the difference in price. Food is really good too - I usually end up getting a few things for about $30 but it's easily 3 or 4 meals - there is so much food in each order - highly recommend!

Fast service, prices used to be way better but now they are like everywhere else. Chicken Pho went from around $7.50 to $12 in less than a year. The food is good and comes out quickly, but the price increase is the difference between going once a week to going maybe once every 2 months. They also shut down the kitchen considerably earlier than actual closing time.

We have eaten from Hot Wok on many occasions. Sometimes the food was pretty good, other times it was fair. But this review has to do with something different. This evening we ordered food over the phone for take out. When we picked it up, we noticed the price was wrong. We totaled it up several times and found that we were overcharged. When I asked the young man behind the counter about it, he gave me an itemized receipt which had one of the meals marked $4.00 more than the menu price. I pointed this out to him and he said it was a mistake because they had changed the menu prices a few days ago. Yet the menu price said $11.95 and they had charged us $15.95, so I kindly asked for the $4.00 back. His response was that he was sorry and the price was wrong. SERIOUSLY? You will steal from your customers and just say sorry? $4.00 is not a big deal. Stealing is a big deal! False advertising is a big deal. I wonder how many customers they have stolen from? Definitely NOT going back to this crooked restaurant!

Read the reviews before heading over and boy were they mixed. The food was amazing. Should have taken heed of the reviews that said the portions were big. Had to get a doggie bag. Got the beef,shot ribs , pho combo and crab puffs. Soup of the pho was delicious 😋. Wouldn't get it again because of the size but it was definitely on point with flavor. Beef dish was amazing. Ribs were nice but needed a bit of salt. Added a bit of sauce to it and that made it great. Thought the puff would have big bits of meat but I didn't -that did not take away from the taste at all. Service was so quick. Got in around 6pm and was eating by 6:04pm. Young man was so pleasant. The person who left that bad note on him might have been having a bad day or caught him on a bad day.

First time customer and I don't understand how this place has so many good reviews?!
Spent 100$ had waited an hour and Everything was tasteless!!! Nothing was spicy- the crab puffs had no imitation crab and literally tasted like cow manure🤮. General Tso chicken was sweeter than teriyaki sauce and half of it tasted like burnt plastic-not sure if that was from the chilis or not. Broccoli and beef didnt have any flavor at all-not even the broccoli. I ended up spitting it out and calling it quits and eating the 100$ loss.
Everything had a watered down bland flavoring-i probably would've had more flavor from hose water.
The only edible thing was the prepackaged fortune cookies. Extremely disappointed we will not be returning

They offer a variety of good food! They are pretty quick when you call ahead and give good portion sizes. Just make sure you check to make sure you have all your condiment’s and utensils because various times I ordered to go and had nothing or forgot the sauce that goes with the meat. Aside from that, the food is delicious! Highly recommend!

We were in town for a couple of weeks, did a search, and found this restaurant has high rating and great reviews. Ordered Mongolian beef, and vegetable stir fried lo mein. I have had a lot of Mongolian beef, I'd say this is the 2nd best Mongolian beef I've ever had. The vegetable stir fried lo mein is good, you can taste the flavor from high heat cooking. I will visit again if I am in town next time.

Absolutely love their food! Only issue I had was last night when I had a pick up order and brought it home and saw it definitely wasn't the same as far as how much sauce was on the chicken. Come to find out they changed the amount of sauce because people were complaining about soggy chicken. Brought the food back today and was able to get a whole new plate that was absolutely perfect! This is a nice locals restaurant. Catering mostly to take out. But you can dine in. You order at the front desk and they bring the food to you. Very friendly service. Clean restrooms and dining area. They do cater to special needs diets.

Perfect customer service and very tasty food, perfect spot for a quick meal with TONS of leftovers. We enjoyed the Crab Rangoon, perfectly fried and crispy. The Pho soup was tasty, the veggies were very fresh. My favorite was the different beef dishes, spiced to order and very tender. We definitely will be making this a "go to" spot for weeknights.

This bumped the Star rating up for me.. The portions are huge. You will not leave here hungry. The other reason for 5 stars is the service. Although you go to the counter to order your food, the very sweet young man at the counter was so very patient, professional and friendly! Way to go. We felt welcomed and comfortable.

The best spring rolls in town. Not the fried type you get other places but the cold rice paper wrapped deliciousness served with a warm peanut sauce. Definitely worth a stop if your wanting spring rolls.

Great service and many options on the menu. The food was ok, not overall amazing but I would go back. The portions are huge. I got the vegetarian rolls and the lemongrass fried tofu.
