This was the first time that we have eaten here. The food tasted so good. However, we will not be back. The restaurant is very dirty. There is a layer of dirt/dust on the ceiling fan. A freezer or fridge in the dining area is dirty… black on the lower part of the freezer.
The bathroom is very dirty also on the door inside the bathroom. What a shame because the food is very tasty. Please have more pride in your restaurant… give it a deep clean. I have to assume that the kitchen would need cleaning as well. I wish you the best.

Delicious food and many varieties for vegetarians. We ordered pad Thai and basil fried rice and fried tofu. Their fried tofu is the best at this restaurant compared to any/all other restaurants I have been to. The tofu looks good, crispy, not oily :-).

I didn't like the Tom Kha Gai soup. It was not creamy just watery i asked why it was so bad and she said that they don't do it with coconut cream like in other places but I liked the green curry and the rest of the food.

We are back 2 years later and we’re happy to see Dee Thai was open. We tried the beef chow mien and the chicken fresh ginger roots. Both fantastic! Loved the ginger roots—fresh is an understatement! So delicious and everything so fresh.

The usual narrative: A gem of a Thai restaurant hidden in a sleepy nondescript strip mall. The first time I stumbled in, a thousand-yard-stare written across my mute face, a very kind woman welcomed me from behind the counter. "Take your time looking over the menu, let us know if you have any questions." The host's warm and patient demeanor immediately put me at ease. I opted for the spicy flat noodle with fried tofu, spice level 4. I was not disappointed with this selection. A meal this good must be savored, eaten mindfully. Every bite astonished me: the tofu was cooked to perfection, complimenting the melding of the other flavors and vegetables. Particularly the fresh basil. Dee Thai Express: Thank you for providing Prescott with a delicious and authentic Thai food selection. Thanks for catering to the vegan and plant-based people in the community. I have been back no fewer than a half dozen times, ordering the same spicy flat noodle, spice level 4. It's time for me to muster the courage to try a new dish. Perhaps the red curry. I hope your business prospers.

It's probably the best Red Curry that I have had in Prescott and even the Phoenix area. Loved the pineapple in it. That was a first! Would like mushrooms in it but was fantastic as it was.

Always great food at a great price!

We just moved to the Prescott area and tried Dee Thai Express for the first time earlier this week and the food was delicious. Being that we travel quite a bit throughout the U.S. we have tried many Thai restaurants since we love the food but this place just may be the best we've tried to date!

Good Thai food with lots of choices.

Food has always been great and it was perfect for a few of us to order on our lunch break, but they recently DOUBLED their prices on everything. It was an awesome authentic place and priced accordingly, but the pricing is out of control now. I’ve never seen a place double their prices overnight and I’m not spending $24 for the exact same dish I had a week ago for $12. If you add shrimp, you’re paying almost $30 per dish and this is nothing close to an “upscale” restaurant. I bet they’ll be out of business within the next year. Such a shame, but there’s multiple similar local Thai places that have normal prices.

I can’t believe I’ve never written a review for this place! Went to college in the area and this was always our go to spot. The food is so delicious, fresh and affordable. Moved away to WA where there are a ton of Thai places and none of them hold a candle to this little restaurant.

The Pad Thai and Curry are the best. The spring rolls are always a necessity. Anytime we are in town, we go at least once to Dee Thai!

We ordered take-out. It was fast - less than 20 minutes. We had the spicy noodles with chicken, larb salad with chicken, and sweet sour chicken. Everything was tasty. Large portions. Spice level 1-5. 4 was pretty hot.

We had the most delicious gluten free Pad Thai here - and I wish I lived closer so we could eat here all the time!

Four stars because you never really know when it'll be open, but that's what happens in Prescott with mom and pop shops. I will, however, always check to see if Dee is open before I go elsewhere. The food is just that good. I wish they offered woon sen soup, though. Maybe someday.

Theyre amazing! I love their sticky rice and mango when its in season n i also enjoy their spicey noodle. People complaining about it being to spicey probably shouldnt eat at a thai place. Thats like going to a race track and complaining about the noise.

Dee Thai Express is the BOMB. This establishment combines the best of Thai food and quality service into a quaint and cozy building that in my opinion, is one of the best small business food experiences you can enjoy here in Prescott. Having been multiple times, their variety and quality of food is exceptional. My favorite is their Spicy Noodle (which is as expected, very spicy) and their Pad Thai. In future visits, I look forward to trying their curry and soups. The prices are also very reasonable for the amount of food given, as 1 appetizer and 1 entree is certainly enough for 2 people. Do note, they do not shy away from cranking up the heat when you want, so be careful, especially for those with a tongue not used to heat. Ever since I have discovered this establishment, it has quickly taken a spot in a high position of places I am willing to spend money on and every time it is worth it. If you like Thai, or if you've never had it and need something new, Dee Thai Express is a great choice 10 times out of 10.

The worst Thai Restaurant ever and I have been all over the world, Holland had much better Thai food.
Plus, they never change the Lunch Prices, which most restaurants have a lower Lunch price than Dinner.

I ordered the chicken pad thai, and it was the worst pad thai I ever had. The chicken tasted like wet dog smell. The owner said she was angry and refused to make me anything else. The waitress never asked how anything was. Don't go here! They don't have lunch prices.

Great place for authentic Thai Food.

I’ve had a lot of Thai food in my life and Dee Thai Express is one of the best. Definitely the best in Prescott. The Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Yellow Curry are my favorites. The mango sticky rice makes a light and refreshing dessert. You can tell it’s a family restaurant and they put love into every dish. A+, highly recommend, can’t go wrong!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Very authentic. The wonton soup was perfectly balanced though I wish the vegetables were cut just slightly smaller. My friend got the fried rice and thought it was too fishy, however, I thought it was only a touch. Nevertheless, a whole dish of that might become overwhelming. The Thai tea and Thai coffee were also delicious and the mango and rice dessert is divine.

I get take out from here multiple times a week, so so good and always right on time, love this place!!

This place family owned & operated. Great people! Food is priced fairly and they put ample meat in the dishes, unlike some in town.
The furniture is a little tired but the food is delicious. I highly recommend the curries,the noodle dishes & vegetable dishes. You can ask for spicy, bland or mildly spicy. I highly recommend it.

Had the Massuman curry with tofu last night and started feeling unwell this morning. Now I'm having uncontrollable diahrea, chills, fatigue and pain throughout my body. Perhaps they need to wash their hands after going to the bathroom, I'll never go back.

We ordered vegetable pad thai, veggie spring rolls, & Thai fried rice with vegetables. The food was prepared quickly & the service was great. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Words cannot describe the loveliness of this little Thai restaurant. We get takeout from Dee Thai regularly, and it’s always ready when we arrive to pick it up, and their packaging is careful to ensure steam can escape while also keeping all items separate and hot. Prices are very reasonable (and well below Tara Thai’s in downtown). The employees are super nice. If you want excellent Thai in Prescott, this is the place to go.

60 bucks drive home from Prescott to Chino Valley the order all wrong. Completely disappointed. Don't want refond just wont go back. The people running the place very very nice. But come on man I live 23 miles away

As a Thai person this place did not have flavors that were authentic. My sister-in-law (fresh off the Asian boat) and brother were disappointed.

BEST THAI FOOD EVER! The chefs here are amazing and the support stuff are kind, quick, and courteous. Tae is the main expeditor/waiter and he is one of the kind people I know. Would highly recommend!

Such excellent food!! My husband and I had dinner here on Friday night.
My husband had Red Curry (it was good), I had the spicy drunken noodles with chicken (It was DElish!!), and then we shared a HUGE bowl of the MOST AMAZING TOM KHA GAI soup!!! OMG it was good! We will definitely be back!!
P.S. only 1 small complaint..... the front window needs to be cleaned!

Loved the yellow curry and spring rolls

You would not believe that food this good comes out of a hole in a wall. Seriously, I think I could touch all walls of the kitchen with my arms spread!😁 This was as good as we have had in ANY major city. When people talk about making food with love, this is what they mean. If you eat in Prescott, and don't eat here, get your head checked.

All you need to know is that this is the only authentic Thai in town. Nothing even comes close… Me and my wife lived in Thailand and this takes us right back. Do yourself a favor and hook up your flavor pallets.

Until Aug. 2020, I would have given this restaurant 4 stars although the food is not quite as good as a couple years ago. (Definitely not as good as Thai House.) But now, during the Coronavirus pandemic, I do not appreciate people who are careless with my health & safety.

The young waiter was not wearing a mask (although the two cooks were). When I asked him "where's your mask" he mumbled something but did not mask up. I do not plan to go back, even when Thai House is not open.

I never leave reviews, but a review has to be left for this place! I live 4 hours from Prescott and visit every couple of months and this place is the first on my list where I have to get food before I leave! I craaaave their red curry all the time. Their food is incredible and if you like curry, definitely give theirs a try!!

The most amazing red curry i have ever had!

The Pad Thai was not up to par AT ALL! There was no taste of the peanut oil whatsoever, and instead the noodles tasted as if it sat in cabbage all over night. Saving grace was the shrimp but still had to take a swig of my drink to drown out that cabbage taste after each bite.

Asked for a large white rice to share with my wife and was given a container that is a small at every other restaurant and was told that WAS their large when I tried to clarify I asked for large.

I'll give them another shot because I get that some places may have an off day. Leaving this at a 3 star and will adjust accordingly after my next visit.

One of the best Thai places in the Quad. Great food, great service. I am particular to the Masman Curry, but the Panang curry, Pad Thai, & Drunken Noodle (glass noodle variant) are also good eats & give the Fresh Roll a go for a departure away from the typical "eggroll" Service is polite & efficient...
Its a hole in the wall compared to a place like Tara Thai, but the food is WAY better & lot easier on the wallet...
