Small, contemporary eatery whipping up Thai favorites from spicy curries to noodle dishes.
Great Taste, Just Needs More Veggies!
I recently visited Taste of Thai and was thoroughly impressed by the flavors! The dishes were delicious, well-seasoned, and had a fantastic balance of spices. Every bite was a delight, and it’s clear they use high-quality ingredients. My only suggestion would be to incorporate more vegetables into the dishes to add even more texture and variety. Otherwise, it's a great spot for Thai food, and I will definitely be coming back!
Food was delicious. The experience was disappointing. Restaurant was clean, ambience was nice. The wait staff made several mistakes that made for an uncomfortable experience.
We will likely give them another try and they were highly recommended. Fingers crossed that next visit goes smoothly.
So good! I was gonna take a picture before but got too excited. So glad this place is close to our apartment as imma be a regular here.
The crispy tofu is actually too damn good. We got the spicy fried rice and green curry. It was bangin. If you like spicy, get a 5/5. We got a 4/5 and it was very good. We def could’ve kicked it to a 5.
Took the party home with a pineapple fried rice to go.
One of the best Thai restaurants I have visited. Awesome taste, good quantity, pretty good price, nice ambience and huge menu. I went with my wife and we ordered Veggie Spring Rolls and Red Thai Curry. Best spring roll I have tasted so far in US. Red curry was really good to taste and was spicy as requested. Definitely going to go back again for Thai cravings. Will recommend everyone to try it out.
OMG, so good, we came here on the night of Christmas Day, such a nice place with authentic Thai food.
Basically everything here you can select a meat (chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, .......etc) to stir fry with, and all served with traditional Thai flavour.
I love Drunken mussels the most, strongly recommend it!!!
My wife and I have been looking for a great Asian restaurant for the last 18 months since moving to phoenix. We finally found it here at taste of thai. I ordered the spicy cashew which came with vegetables and a bowl of Jasmine rice. I made the mistake of asking for a Thai hot. It was hot. It's not their fault. I asked for it that way. It was still amazing even though it made my eyelids sweat. Next time I'll get the same dish but probably just medium to slightly hot. My wife got the combination fried rice and she loved it too. Excellent restaurant very clean reasonable prices highly recommended.
Always delicious, worth the wait.
Medium was very very spicy, but it was still very delicious!
Pretty good. But very spicy even if you order mild. I could not eat. If you are OK with spice you will like it
Food was delicious. The experience was disappointing. Restaurant was clean, ambience was nice. The wait staff made several mistakes that made for an uncomfortable experience.

The Best Pad see ew in Arizona
They are very accommodating if you are gluten free, everything we asked about was able to be made gluten free. We ended up ordering the rice soup and the yellow curry. It was delicious!
I’m not even done eating and I had to write this. This was my Xmas dinner this year. Thank you to the person who worked today and made this for me I’m very grateful it’s delicious and just what I needed. Thank you so much. Excellent food the flavors are fresh and home made. Love it
I have been regular customer and I have seen the quality go down. My past experiences has been good with taste in general. Last one was chowmein and fried rice. Let me be specific. Noodles has changed from thicker to thinner dry noodles and there was cauliflower in the chowmein. Fried rice was tasteless and utter waste of money. I can post pictures but they look bad
THE best Thai food. We dream about their special beef massaman curry at least once a week. Pad see ew and pad thai are also perfect. 1 and only critique is that the crab rangoons order should come with 8 (or at least 6) instead of 5 for the price and the size. Otherwise...fav restaurant in Phoenix, dine in or takeout.
Best I've had in this area but far. So good!

Incredible food at a reasonable price! I love the spicy cashew and especially the coconut sticky rice! Definitely going to come back.
What a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Pad see ew was one of the best we have had, pork noodle soup was light and yet very flavorful and beef massaman was delicious. Service was efficient and so attentive. Will be back!!
Everything was excellent! We had eaten at a different location years ago and was not impressed, so we never stopped at this one. We will definitely be back at the Warner Rd location
One of my favorite Thai restaurants, it's amazing the quality of food for the price they're listed at. They aren't shy with the spice either on their 1-5 scale, we did 4 and it definitely had a kick but not one that lingered unpleasantly. I loved the crunch of the veggies in their green papaya salad and entrees, you can tell they're not sitting around on a heater for a long time but are truly fresh. Highly recommend!
We ordered pad thai, yellow curry, tom kha gai, and panang curry. All of the food were oversalted, especially the the tom kha gai (soup) and the panang curry. Our first visit was actually delightful..but this time, I dunno what's going on. Everything was extremely salty, all you can taste was the fish sauce.. I can say, it's hit and miss on this place.
First time here and got take out. Had a mixed order of different dishes and all of them were good. The eggrolls were a little soggy but didn’t ruin the meal. Will be back.
Very good service thank you.
Excellent Thai food, quick service, dine in or takeout friendly. Place was just opening and empty when I arrived and was mostly full as I was leaving. Give it a try.
Their Pad Thai is my favorite
Horrible customer service. Order your food “to go” or you can’t get a “to go” container. We had to send a glass back because there was lipstick from the prior customer on it. Food is good customer service horrible.

Can’t get tired of this place.
Me and my husband found this treasure last year and since then is out Thai restaurant to go.
Food is incredible, fast service and very clean.
100% recommend, you won’t regret.
Our fav is Pad See Ew
I’ve only ever gotten takeout, but their spicy chicken is delicious! I’ll definitely be back to try more of their dishes.
We had twice takeout, their soups are amazing and yellow curry dish but eggplant and papaya salad I do not recommend at all.
We were lucky enough to find Taste of Thai today for Father’s Day! It was AMAZING…HOT but amazing! Pad See Ew was phenomenal and the Spicy Cashew and Pad Thai were HOT, even at a medium. Might want to order one level down from your “normal”. Thai Ice Tea and Pineapple Fried Rice were cooling to the palate. Ahhh!
We will be back and highly recommend! :)
Food is perfect. Ambience is great as well.
Loved it
I Don’t Think I’ve Ever Had Thai Food Before But I Absolutely Loved It ! The Food Is Literally Amazing! Everything Came Out Steaming Hot In A Timely Manner & It Was So Good. We Thought About Going A Second Night In A Row Lol. The People Are Really Nice Too
This place is one of our go to spots, the food is always great.
Order vegetable pad thai with tofu and crab wontons got chicken pad Thai and two deserts i didnt order or want…first time and last time I’ll go there…
This was my first time coming to Taste of Thai and it certainly won't be my last. It's a small mom and pop shop. We were seated right away. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The portions of food are far from small. You can easily split 1 dish amongst 2 people.
We started off with the Pot Stickers, which were crispy, warm and delicious. We also had the Crab Puffs. They were fried to perfection and it had good amount of filling, extra crispy and served with plenty of dipping sauce.
My Entrée was The Beef Teriyaki served with Fried Rice. The beef was tender and the Teriyaki sauce did not overpower the dish. It was well balanced. The fried rice that came with this dish was so good and flavourful. Honestly, this could've been a meal by itself. The only bad thing about my dining experience here was that the portions are huge. You won't have room for dessert! 😆
I was hoping to try the Coconut ice cream and the Sticky Rice! Well, need not worry, I'll be back soon to try the next delicious Noodle Entrée and finally get to try the Sticky Rice!
I would highly recommend Taste of Thai. It's definitely a 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The BEST chicken pad Thai I’ve ever had. I eat here religiously just for the pad Thai. The spices are so flavorful and delicious.
Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in the valley. I'd say it's a bit more Thai Fusion so not quite as authentic as some other places if that's what you're looking for, but I vastly prefer the taste of the food here personally, and some of the best heat for Thai I've had period. The only reason for the loss of a star is that the service can frankly be a bit on the slow side depending on when you come in.
We found this place over the summer and loved it, but over the past few months it’s become really inconsistent. Spice levels have been all over the place, sometimes extremely mild to the point of being flavorless and other times overpowering. Cooked levels have also been inconsistent and foods are sometimes soggy or tough and overcooked. We will be looking for a new Thai restaurant.
Best Thai food in Ahwatukee
We ordered the Tom Yum (seafood)soup and Panang curry (chicken), hot for both. So so good! Flavorful, authentic and the perfect level of heat.
Had good food about a year ago. Has now gone downhill. Wait times are over an hour for to go. When you get there they tell you that they need 20 more minutes when you have already been waiting an hour. Also, when you ask for mild, they go hot, has happened twice now. Not pleased and will not be returning.
OMG, so good, we came here on the night of Christmas Day, such a nice place with authentic Thai food.
Basically everything here you can select a meat (chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, .......etc) to stir fry with, and all served with traditional Thai flavour.

Best Thai in Phoenix.
Called in for a take out order. No one answered, so went in and ordered. Was told it would take 30 minutes. Waited for 70 minutes to get the food. Set realistic expectations. This is very disappointing. If I would’ve known they were that behind I simply would have gone elsewhere.
Small place but food is great!!
Delicious Food, proper amount of spice, flavorful and filling.
Their food is always fresh and very delicious, it taste soooooo good
Delicious Food, proper amount of spice, flavorful and filling. Amazing!
This is the best Thai restaurant I have eaten at. My son lived in Thailand and he thinks it is very good as well. It is small with quick friendly service. The flavors are just amazing. You have got to try it.
Delicious Food, proper amount of spice, flavorful and filling. Amazing!
A wonderful eating experience.
I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice here a few weeks ago. Great food! But major turn off was the staff eating at the front counter and working simultaneously. When I see someone eating and packing orders, I think about the spreading of germs. Yikes 😬🤦🏾♀️. I pretty much watched them like a hawk to make sure no one ate over my open container. I personally wouldn't go back because I was a germaphobe BEFORE the pandemic, so I don't need my anxiety on edge every time I eat here. Again, takeout food was fantastic, but ALL THREE people eating at the front counter instead of the back, made me think this was normal behavior. I used to work in the food industry and it just isn't proper etiquette 🤷🏾♀️.
Awesome food!!!
Did take away. Ordered "hot"; I think "med/hot" would be more to our liking, but very tasty Thai food!
Expensive, but big portions (at least two servings from each item)
So so SO so good! This is the only pad Thai worth calling pad Thai, you have to get it hot or Thai hot for the best flavor in my opinion but it is SPECTACULAR!! I’m literally addicted. The crab puffs, edamame, potstickers, satay, chicken fried rice, and coconut ice cream are all really good too. And everyone who works there is so nice. Probably my #1 favorite restaurant around.
One of our favorites! Got addicted to Thai food on our trip to Thailand last year and this has been the closest to the real thing.
Loved their veggie spring rolls!
Best curry
The veg red curry is absolutely delicious
I've usually had good luck with this restaurant. But the last two times I visited both the service and food were subpar.
Waitress was very attentive, informative, and kind.
Used to be our Thai place in town. Their menu, servers changed. Table had crumbs, when they handed out menu the servers hands were wet with water that it dripped on the menu and the table. Food came out burnt that you could smell it from distance so we asked to remake the food for us. The staff from the kitchen came out and stared at us after food was served, it was kind of weird. Most importantly, the server was uninviting and unprofessional. Never coming back again.
I was considering eating at this location, but I'm surprised how rude they treat 3rd party delivery drivers, so you deserve ONE STAR * FOR BEING RUDE .
Just Glorious!
Fresh and delicious. My wife and I were just floored about how good this place is. Prices and portions are far better than other local places. Going back again asap.
Many delicious vegan options, and brown rice which is a must for me. Very lovely staff. Everyone liked their meal.
Food is flavorful and good sized portions
Great food keep coming back.
Very good food one of the best I have had in years. I had Thai that was spicy. Delicious had enough to bring home. Was under $40.00 for two adults. Also had enough for three servings. Awesome!
The only employee we saw there recommended 3 appetizers but admitted he was buying them already made and FROZEN. We left.
Wow, fabulous food. Even the heat of 1 and 2 are hot, so just remember it is Thia. Even fried rice was spicy.
Ordered this Thai food for the first time this evening. I used to live in Taiwan and have had authentic Thai food. I understand this is the States, and everything is made to American tastes. But this food wasn't a taste of Thai. It was a tragedy. The chicken satay was grilled and had an odd bologna flavor. The peanut sauce, which is by far my favorite of all sauces, was glorified Skippy peanutbutter with some spices added. The teriyaki beef was good, but the fried rice it was served on was loaded with undercooked onions and no other veggies. The potstickers were overcooked. The crab Rangoons were just cream cheese. This glorious mess cost 54$. I could have fixed the 1.50 instant Ramen and been better off. Don't waste your money.
Awesome place and great staff!
Look, been to this place before and it was awesome. Today not so much. The waitress, while having a smile on and a nice tone to how she talks to customers, her attitude was rude. The rolling of the eyes as she walks away after asking for things, sorry but you can’t fool anyone. And to top it off our friend knows Thai and can hear her speaking it in displeasure of guests. The food is not as great as it was before. The man who was at the window legit touched every single item as it was being passed at the window, with his bare hands! Making the plate look nice touching without gloves. So disappointed to have this experience as it seems everyone else seems to have enjoyed it. But sorry, not coming back and not recommended. And to the lady waitress today, stop asking us if we need to go boxes, when we aren’t done yet. You just want to kick us out after our 30 min sit in meal.
I ordered a pick up from this restaurant in need of a quick lunch and once it came out the aroma was so decadant and strong that I had to ask if I could sit down and eat it here on the spot. I was so excited and had to share with you all, this place is a MUST. I went for the yellow curry with chicken and highly recommend it.
Pretty darn good Thai food, room for some improvement.
Try the chicken yellow curry- it's AMAZING! This place is always popping and yet they're always so timely with getting food out 😊 since they've finally moved that beautiful bouquet out into the dining area the vibe just hit a whole new level of cool 😎
Its delicious and healthy as well as being affordable- try it you won't be disappointed!
Gotta check this place out. Great tasting food. Spicy to your level and WOW watch out you'll want more.
Delicious!
Food is always amazing!
Update 5/14/23 Still the best!
Terrific service! Small place but, comfy. Wait staff, so sweet! Food was awesome!!
Oh damn. Did I just find my new fav Thai place…not sure I’ll have to go back to confirm :). Great prices, great portions, great food. Be warned Thai Hot 🥵 is not for amateurs. Even if you like spice like I do it will burn your lips off. Outside that I really enjoyed myself.
Great place if you are willing to wait. Long food times. Staff has an language battle. But I was able to make it work.
Most flavorful Thai food I’ve ever had!
Food is good and flavorful.
I fear to eat tonight horrible service sub par food with little to no taste. We also had to wait 15 minutesFor our take out after they told us it was already good to go.
What a dump. Made me wait 15 mins for a pickup order. Wasn't ready and somehow my food was STILL cold. DISGUSTING!
This is an outstanding place to eat local. The food is excellent, service is prompt and friendly. It is a small establishment, so seating is limited, but that adds to the small restaurant atmosphere. Good food takes some time, so please don't get upset if it takes a bit. Relax and enjoy.
Great food. Very friendly and food was ready exactly when promised. Thank you
Would definitely recommend the shrimp Fried rice and Penang curry, amazing flavor with he right amount of spice.
Very dirty bathrooms. Food was decent. Not the best. But ok.
Tasty Thai food reasonably priced. If you want it spicy order Thai hot
It’s a good place to go after a lot of errands. Service was nice. Food tasted as expected, nothing fancy just simple. The Thai spice Pad See Ew was just right with the spice. The fried was delicious also. Again just a basic relax meal after a lot of shopping.
Beware of possible shell fragments in the food!
Coconut sticky rice side order is very small (no size options or advisement of the portion size) though favour was good.
I also ordered steamed vegetable side which was good except for the fact that a large and smaller shell fragment was in the vegetables. (Photo included)
This was a first and last visit to the establishment. I understand * things happen but when on a first visit...
Fantastic food. Lots of herbs and spices. Very punchy flavors :)
Placed a TO GO order and the staff behind the counter was friendly and quick. Lunch was awesome and the rice was perfect. Definitely coming back
Wow. I was very impressed with this restaurant. They have a very large selection of interesting entrees and appetizers. I had the spicy hot crispy fish which was loaded with fresh onions, red bell peppers and delicious.
The steamed mussels appetizer was more of a meal with some of the largest, plumpest mussels I've seen in years!
Service by Hostess Tan was very pleasant and professional.
I did takeout and was out the door in under 15 minutes with piping hot fresh Thai food.
Prices are very reasonable for the high quality and large portions.
Best Thai I've had in 2022.
Well done.
Great authentic Thai food
Saw the raving reviews and opted to try. $2 for steamed veggies. Okay.
But no. After waiting 20+ minutes past the time it said my order would be ready i get home and see no steamed veggies, white rice ( didn't order ) and a very miniscule amount of food for 19$.
Horrible customer service. Lackluster food and a very poor experience.
Really great drunken noodles, haven’t had anything bad here
The best Thai food we've found and we really love Thai food :) We've ordered delivery a number of times and have never been disappointed. The quality is consistent and top notch! I highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be back! Thank you Taste of Thai!
The food tasted good but the waitress was visibly arrogant.
Not very authentic. Pineapple fire rice does not have enough seasoning, need more of curry taste in there. Pad thai, alright but using the wrong noodles…. I don’t know why this restaurant have 4.5 starts, not recommended.
Don't have time management been waiting for 20 mins for an order.
Food was excellent and well balanced in flavor, and server is attentive and amazing despite the dinner rush the two times we’ve been here.
Loved the food and the crews are awesome.
First time here; SO GOOD!
I witnessed one of the workers digging in her nose and handling someone's rice right after without any gloves on with my own eyes.
Really good Pad Thai and it's consistently good. Every time I visit I am pleasantly surprised with how friendly they are. Pickup orders are generally available within 20 minutes of ordering.
I haven't dined in here yet but the restaurant looks nice and clean.
The prices are ridiculous. A plate of chicken fried rice is $14! I can get a full meal for $10 elsewhere so that's what I did. I went elsewhere. By the way, their beef is really dry & overcooked.
Very good food and perfect seasoning. I recommend highly. Plenty left overs.
The food is delicious and there’s something for everyone, even people who aren’t custom to Thai or small children. My family comes here all the time and we’ve never had a bad experience dining in or take out. Also super friendly waitstaff!
Food is amazing and the service is awesome. Always so friendly.
Service was exceptional. The food was the best Thai food we've had here in AZ since moving here 7 years ago.
Just ordered tonight, in town from Chicago, via UberEats. Unbelievably good. I requested very hot, and I got it. The key was that the flavor was still there in a big way, not overpowered. Delicious. The vegetables were fresh - very, crisp and great. This is my new go-to every month when I'm in town for work. Wow.
Delicious food and great service. Quaint and comfy little space for a family run restaurant. I'll definitely be back for my Thai cravings.
The duck Curry was pretty good but there was hardly any duck and way too many vegetables
Delicious
No matter what I try the food here is always delicious. I would absolutely recommend it for everyone
This is my favorite Thai Place in Phoenix. Everything here is delicious!
Best Thai I've had in years!! Anywhere else, we can take "hot" or "Thai hot", but not here. Medium is safe spicy haha. Hot had us in tears.
Visited on our last night in town for a business-leisure trip - A nice little (strip mall) restaurant. Very busy with takeout orders and a small dine in crowd. Greeted quickly by a cordial and attentive staff. Drinks served quickly (and refills) along with our appetizer. We both had Pad Thai. Great flavor, large portions. A nice surprise. Pricing was fair for the quality of the meals and service. Seems to be family owned and we would definitely dine here again. Well done.
Clean, happy staff,, but noticed 1 female employee too focused on group of same age dining in,if they were satisfied, but never checked on other patrons dining.
I was there approximately 30 mins. waiting on my take out.
All aside the food is great, large portions, recommend for "you" to try.
Good

Tasted great
Great food and customer service! Everyone is so welcoming and attentive. Our Pho was delicious!
Great food, great service, beautiful atmosphere. I'd definitely go again. 😊
Real Tai tasty foods.
Will go again
Food was really good..
This place is definitely in the top thai restaurants I've ever been to! The service was quick, friendly, and the restaurant was small but very clean. The food was AMAZING. The way they do their pad thai here is to die for. I will advise going a spicy level lower than what you usually would go with because I ordered medium and it was more like Hot or Thai hot. I love spicy food so it didn't bother me but that out it'd be important to share. This place is too good to pass up!
