This low-key strip mall stop for traditional Thai fare offers lunch specials & a takeout menu.
As I person who has eaten at dozens of Thai restaurants, I can confidently say I am not sure what this food is, because it did not resemble or taste anything remotely close to classic Thai dishes. Ordered Pad Thai (no meat) and not only was it a block of dry noodles, but the noodles were yellow??!! Tasted NOTHING like pad thai. Doesn’t come with lime in case you’re wondering. Ordered Cashew Chicken and this was so strange looking I was scared to try it. It was swimming in a gray dishwater soup… very unpleasant. Flavor was nothing even close to cashew chicken. Tom Yum soup was AT BEST tolerable, but even still, a very watery and dull soup that should normally be very vibrant in color and taste. Will never eat here again. Not sure how this place has managed good reviews. Extremely disappointed, ESPECIALLY for the cost. Portions are terrible for the price as well.
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the consistently delightful dining experience I've had at your establishment, particularly with regard to one of my favorite dishes, the Spicy Noodle Thai Hot with Veggies.
Every time I order this dish, it never fails to impress me with its bold flavors and satisfying texture. The perfect blend of spice and freshness from the veggies truly elevates the dining experience to another level. It has become my go-to choice whenever I visit your restaurant.
In addition to the Spicy Noodle Thai Hot with Veggies, I've also had the pleasure of trying the wonton on a few occasions, which I found to be equally enjoyable. It adds a nice variety to my meal and complements the flavors of the main dish perfectly.
I also want to commend your online ordering system, which has made the entire process incredibly convenient. Being able to place my order from the comfort of my home and receiving a text notification when it's ready for pickup has streamlined the dining experience for me.
Overall, I can't thank you enough for consistently delivering such delicious food and excellent service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and another delightful meal at your restaurant.
😀
This local Thai restaurant is a true gem in the community! The food is absolutely amazing, with rich, authentic flavors that never disappoint. From the perfectly spiced curries to the delicious Pad Thai, every dish is a treat. The people here are warm and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s always a pleasure to support such a fantastic local spot. Highly recommend for anyone craving some top-notch Thai food!
The food is good here and the staff is really sweet, but man are they super inconsistent with their spice levels. The last 3 times we've ordered take out from here, my wife ordered the hottest level and I ordered the spice level one down from that, and all three times they were either minimal spicy-ness or literally none at all.
The picture attached is my wifes order of the hottest level, and there isn't one single chili flake or seed in the entire thing. The one single red thing you can see in the picture is spicy crab pâté that we added at home. There was literally zero heat on both of them. It even asks you on the website to choose a spiciness level, so it's not like we forget to select it.
We specifically get Thai food because we like spicy food, and Royal Jasmine is definitely one of the only good Thai places in the west valley, but forgetting to put any spice in all of the entrees multiple times is pretty frustrating, especially when takeout entrees cost 16-20 dollars.
This was a nice Thai restaurant with solid food choices. The quality seems to be top notch. However the service was not 5 star worthy. After we ordered there were several tables that sat down after us that received their drinks before us and it took tracking a waitress down in the front of the restaurant to reorder the drinks before we got them. Other than that it was a solid place to eat.
The staff was friendly and the food was tasty. It was my first time having Pad Thai though so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I did notice they seemed to be out of a lot of stuff, mainly when we were ordering our desserts. Overall we had a nice time.
The food was fresh and great tasting, and I will definitely come back.

Been to Thailand, love Thai food, this place is excellent! Got the pad see ew, papaya salad, pumpkin curry, and massaman, all very delicious! Friendly quick service, we would definitely come back!
Great for dine in or take out!

My wife and I love you go to this Thai restaurant. The food is always amazing and the restaurant is very clean and cozy.

We went for lunch and ordered Fresh shrimp rolls, Tom Yum soup, Red curry, and Thai tea. Everything was good 😋. This is our second time eating at Royal Jasmine and we would be back. I want to try the Sticky mango rice. We've been eating Thai food for years since we lived in CA, but for some reason we've never tried that dessert even though it's very popular/common.
The egg rolls were amazing even if they are just stuffed with cabbage and nothing else. Also ordered shrimp Pad Thai. That was disappointing. It was flavorless, I had to add chili oil and soy sauce to just give it a little flavor. Also, the noodles and the shrimp were over cooked. Service was almost nonexistent.
We love royal jasmine! Super great go to Thai food. I often feel Goodyear doesn’t have a lot of diverse options so it’s nice to have this. We love the pineapple fried rice and the Panang!
Pineapple fried rice with tofu and sweet and sour sauce was great
Ordered to go today, it seems their portion is getting smaller and smaller, I understand that everything is more expensive now but is it fair to raise their prices and make the portion smaller? Isn't that considered double dipping? Just my observation.

I enjoyed it as did my family
Really authentic
I used to love this place and it was the gold standard for Thai for me. Whelp……not anymore. We had spring rolls, pad Thai, and Tom Ka soup. The plus..spring rolls and sauce were delicious and the Tom Ka was flavorful. It stops there. We paid $18 for shrimp and chicken Pad Thai. Two shrimp and 5 pieces of hard to chew chicken. Nope. Horrible. The Tom Ka had maybe 5 pieces of hard chicken and a whole mushroom in it plus a TON of lemongrass that was throughout the soup (not edible). Sorry so not worth it. Last time we will be here. Oh and it was $50 for take out. I feel like they ripped us off because it was take out.
Great food and service. I stop in every time I am in Goodyear.
There was nothing that could have gone much better....fast, friendly service and amazing food!!
This place used to be one of my go to Thai Restaurants. I had not eaten here for a while and so I decided I wanted to have some Thai so naturally I placed my order got my food and I was so ready for it, to my disappointment 😞 my food Sucked I couldn't belive how low its gone the food was bland, zero flavor and hotly weird tast to it. I don't know what happened but this place is not the same like it was. 😕
I got the pad Thai and House fried rice and I do not recommend. I'm genuinely sad and disappointed.
Love the yellow curry. However only had 1 small piece of potato. Wish it had more.
I’ve been coming here for about 8 years and the quality has always remained consistent with great prices for the portion sizes! Casual restaurant and amazing service. Brought my grandma today for lunch and she has Alzheimer’s. She tends to say hello to everyone and one of the waitresses thought my grandma needed something and stopped by. As we walked out the waitress gave my grandma a cute little coin pouch. Very kind.
Also, best Thai curry’s and BEST orange chicken I’ve ever had. Can’t find that orange chicken anywhere else.
The food is great.
Sadly, these people are afraid of guns. They would rather have you as a seating duck than allow customers with ccp holders.
If you want to live in Arizona, we carry guns. Otherwise, go somewhere else. Thank you
The staff was the best, they were quick, attentive, and very friendly. Wide variety on the menu. The food was good and the egg rolls were fresh and delicious but a little greasy. The entrees were not has flavorful has we had hoped from eating at other Thai reserants. But even with said it was good and we will come back again
The best Thai. Been going since 2013 and they still hold strong. The best orange chicken I have ever had.
Best thai in Surprise and Goodyear!
Yellow curry is da bomb!
Great wait staff and large portions.
I love the yellow curry with chicken. It's been the best yellow curry I've found ANYWHERE.
Always great food.
Curbside pick-up. Delicious food, however, small portions!
Been searching all over the West Valley and this is it, in my opinion the best most authentic Thai Cuisine in the whole West Valley. Great food choices, more than any Thai Restaurant I've ever been too. Taste is not compromised by any ingredients, such as ketchup in Pad Thai like some cheap places. Wife agrees this is the best and even better than her Thai cooking. 🤙🏼
Update: OCT. 12, 2023
AND STILL...THE BEST THAI RESTAURANT IN THE WEST VALLEY!!!
😎😎😎
Updated; 04/05/2024
Recipe and flavors have changed, not happy. Satay Chicken is now oily. Panang is sweeter and the Pad Seew had hardly any Beef in it. We were not happy at all with the change in their recipes. This is no longer our favorite Thai place. 😞😤🤮🤢🙏🏻
Good luck to this place, no longer in my favorite list.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered the Thai Pumpkin Curry. My only complaint, reason for the 4star in food, was the chunks of pumpkin had a weird texture more like a potato. I wished it had more of a pumpkin flavor presence. Overall the food still had a good curry flavor.
yep, that sure is Thai food
Lunch menu options are very bland. This restaurant used to be my favorite near by, now it lost its flavors.
Ordered yellow curry with chicken, but got all potatoes and fried rice is average.
Very disappointed
I was at this restaurant for a dinner appointment and was completely blown away by the wonderful service, freshness and tastiness of the food. Every aspect of the experience was positive. Most DEFINITELY a MUST-VISIT for anyone craving some authentic Thai food while in Phoenix. Here is a vlog of my AWESOME experience.

This was our first time. I told the server that, and she was indifferent. Wasn’t friendly, didn’t smile, wasn’t helpful explaining the menu, and made no recommendations. The food was decent, but my wife didn’t finish her plate even though the portions were small. The server never offered to refill our drinks, including water. In fact, the lemon wedge I asked for couldn’t have been any thinner. The real shocker is that they want to charge a dollar extra if you order your drink without ice!!! The tables are all completely barren of condiments. My impression was that they want to get as much money out of you as they can while giving you the least amount possible in return. Because of that, I didn’t order dessert and tipped less than I usually do. There’s nothing “Royal” about Jasmine Thai Restaurant! We would’ve enjoyed Taco Bell more.
First time for Thai food. The food was hot and fresh. The service was good and the staff didn’t pester us. Very low key. If you don’t eat meat there are plenty of vegan options (almost the whole menu has the option)
Food is very good .
They must have change the chefs or owners.? The grilled beef salad was very salty and the beef wasn’t grilled. I asked for condiments (siracha, chili ) they brought out a little tiny plastic cup, not even enough for a tablespoon. What a shame!!
This was my first time. It has been one of my son-in-law's favorite restaurants in the area, and his go to Pad Thai place. However, everybody agreed there was something wrong with the Pad Thai this night. The atmosphere is pretty boring, and the service just felt average. It's likely I will not go back.
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the consistently delightful dining experience I've had at your establishment, particularly with regard to one of my favorite dishes, the Spicy Noodle Thai Hot with Veggies.

😀
Good food its just the waitress are very stuck up and not polite.
Local, fresh, pleasant service, have not had bad dish yet, always try something new with my go to dishes. Go to Thai.
The survers have a terrible attitude toward the client, they get upset if you ask and dont provide napkins until you ask and bring you one or two (for a 4 person family) which is a bad thing considering it not a cheap place.
Fast, efficient, no fuss service. Tasty food. Optional spice levels to curries.
The food is always great but the customer service is absolutely terrible, they were rude and did not check up once,I kept having to call someone over for anything that we needed, they seemed to be going to every other table more frequently then ours. I told the waiter my food wasn’t spicy enough and was met with an attitude.i say thankyou when a drink or plate was dropped off she just walks away, not even sayin your welcome or any type of acknowledgment, like I said the food is decent but I will always get it to go just because the environment is not welcoming nor friendly, and this was not just one occasion.this review is based on multiple times I have went, yall need to learn to respect the people putting money into your business.
I like the shrimp Pad Thai medium spicy & the sweet Thai tea no cream, thanks ladies
They show cheaper prices on website so when you pick up they tell you it's an old price and they know it is.
After recently moving to the area, we are still on the search for restaurants and found a little gem in Goodyear. Fair prices good sized portions of very good food. We will definitely be back.
Short of help. Spend more time getting to go food to the customer.
Service was a bit slow, tho pleasant. Food was awesome.
Have eaten here several times. Food is excellent.
Pad thai was excellent. The rest of our order was mediocre at best. Definitely not meant to be shared family style. Each of our entrees came out at different times. Portions were miniscule and there was perhaps 6 pieces of thinly shredded meat). We are a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids under 11) and got charged gratuity. The service was nonexistent. At 39 weeks pregnant I had to stand up and request refills for water multiple times. Definitely overpriced for the quality of food. We won't be back.
The orange chicken was 90% batter around the chicken instead of more chicken it was batter. The seafood salad could of had more seafood on it. Only 3 shrimp 2 clams. Lots of deep fried fish pieces. It said squid but it looked like a baby corn. It was $20. So dissapointed in the size for the price. Good taste tho fir my husband's food and mine.
Very authentic Thai food. From appetizers to main we found everything delicious.
This place has the worst customer service. 4 people walking around and none of them seemed to know what they were doing. There wasn't any silverware, napkins, condiments, or anything put on our table. Had to ask for everything. Never came to see if we needed anything or how the food was. They were not overly busy and all the customers had irritated looks on their faces because everyone was waiting for something. My curry was pretty good, husbands seafood combo dinner was terrible. We will never go back, overpriced with bad service.
Good is top notch. You go for the food not the atmosphere but it’s so worth it.
Drove 20 min, arrived before closing time. Was asked for how many, when I stated one, they said they were closed, cook already left. Don’t travel to this place they do not maintain the hours posted and I wasted my drive time
I came for the first time and i would say food are great highly recommend
Too sweet. Too loud. Too slow.
Sally brings the energy, she makes you feel like family and at home. The staff are great, they're attentive and friendly but Sally engages conversations with the customers with laughter and happiness. Food is good if you like sweet and spicy but what was missing is the savory.... I wish they had salt and pepper or soy sauce on the tables.. My opinion, the pineapple fried rice and combo fried rice needs soy sauce to break up the sweetness.
I've been to this restaurant twice and plan going back again to enjoy Sally's jokes with a couple of iced glasses of Singah Thai lager.... Salud 🍺
Food is so freaking good. Made the mistake of going here while pregnant. I've already been back twice. Yellow curry is bomb, pumpkin curry is super cozy and yummy. Medium spice is a good balance but not too spicy.
Really nice service. Orange Chicken is amazing. Wife likes the tofu Pad Thai. It can get busy at times, no matter how busy and chaotic it can be on busy nights, the food is always the same, excellent!
One of the best Pumpkin Red Curry dishes I've ever had. I also enjoyed the fried rice varieties. My family and I don't care for the noodle dishes so much. Prices are HIGH, especially for the amount you receive. Best Thai food in the West Valley out of the ones we tried!
Food was absolutely delicious. Went with my friend who suggested it as had good food before, again it was good so consistent with flavor! Unassuming place with booths. Was not super busy when I went.
Food was good but service was bad. We were asked to pay bill and rushed out. Very rude.
Delicious! I had the beef chow mein and my husband had beef yellow curry with noodles. What an amazing meal. Staff was great! Amazing experience! Will return when we visit town again
My wife had beef chow mein. Finally got my RedCurry Beef with Steamed Noodles. Yummmmmmm
Friendly service and delicious authentic Thai food. The Thai coffee and the papaya salad were both particularly good.
Amazing staff and food
Outstanding Thai Chicken Fried Rice! Be careful if you order anything beyond a 3 for spiciness.
The food is good, but when I ordered online it said 35 minutes. I waited 66 minutes. I don't mind waiting that long if I am expecting it to take that long, but that was ridiculous.
My first time eating there, but not my last. The selection was large and varied. Something for everyone. The service was quick, food was filling, and prices were good. As was the food.
The food is so good! The staff was so nice and patient as I perused their menu while making a takeout order (I don't know all that much about Thai food to be honest). I just moved to this area and I see many dinners occuring there with friends and family in the near future.
Tonight was the second time I go pick up my food and it’s wrong. Why ask me how spicy I want something if you’re not going to do it? I’ll never go back. I can’t imagine spending another $34 on bland non spicy food.
Realy amazing service mmmm athenitic thai food
Delicious food and good service.
A bit tucked away but a good place to visit if you like Thai food!
Words cannot explain how disappointed our family was with royal jasmine. Hospital food has more flavor. Pad Thai was bland with a weird taste, tempura was also bland. We walked away from royal jasmine, after spend $100......nausea and we don't get sick
It was my first time here. The waitress was welcoming and took or drink an appetizer order with 2 minutes. The food was at our table no longer than 15 minutes. It was fresh and delicious. I will add this restaurant to our list.
This is highly average Thai food. I used to go here because it was conveniently located to where I live. Obviously feeling the effects of the Biden economy this restaurant too has gone cheap with portion sizes and quality of product. If you want real quality Thai with huge portions go downtown to Thai Recipe Bistro.
We ate Thai allll the time, and all over the country. This place was subpar at best. The pad see ewe was a very sweet sauce, definitely have never had that flavor before in this dish. Prices were a bit high compared to other Thai.
Yeah, everything is about 15 to $20 for 1 person, and it wasn't that good.
Best Thai food in Goodyear area. After trying many Thai places west of valley this has become our favorite go-to place. Food is always amazing.
I absolutely love Royal Jasmine
They have a wide range of Thai dishes on the menu. One of my favorites is curry chicken. Also the Mango sticky rice.
The egg rolls were good but the main dishes had literally no flavor. Everything was bland. They never even asked us what level of spice we wanted something every Thai place I've ever eaten at asked. Apparently negative 1 is their default setting.
Place is tidy, good service and menu varieties are good. Price is OK not too costly, it’s worth it for the taste. Good for take out as well as dine-in, clean ambience with Thai decor. Given 4 stars only because I ordered fried rice and it smelled like seafood, may be they used tad bit more oyster sauce than required, I’m particularly allergic to the smell of seafood. Otherwise a great choice.
Food is always consistent and fresh. I’m here 4-5 times a week. Pinnnaple curry with chicken is a must try.
Perfectly prepared food! Will definitely be returning to try the other meals offered.
Food was delicious. Service was good.
I have been going to this Thai restaurant for the past 4 years and it never fails to disappoint. Their yellow curry, Tom yam soup, vegetable dishes and fried rice are absolutely crowd pleasers. Whenever I get the craving for Thai food, or hope to take guests somewhere to eat, Royal Jasmine Thai would always be my go to.
Good is excellent. A little expensive but always good.
Food is fresh and flavorful. Lunch specials about $15 ea. Thai Iced Tea is great.
One of the better Thai restaurants. Been there over 10 times and it’s been very consistent.
Pad See Ew is delicious.
Ordered papaya salad and pad Thai for lunch.,take out. Tipped waitress 5 dollars. Went back for dinner, ordered crab puff appetizer, spicy fried rice and pineapple fried rice dinner AND orange chicken and yellow curry chicken. My wife likes to mix the white rice in the curry. Asked the waitress for just a little bit of white rice so my wife could have the left over curry with some rice for the next day. The waitress brought over this little Styrofoam cup with white rice and charged me 2.00 dollars for it. First time there and last time. They will charge you for everything.always check your bill beforehand. I did not until I got home.Crab puffs and 4 dinners were 96.00 dollars after giving her 15.00 tip. Lunch was 28.00 dollars and the waitress remembered me at dinner from lunch. Very poor customer service. The just lost potential life time customers. Very disappointing.
It's always a relaxing nice atmosphere there. The staff are so courteous and smiling. And the food is way above par.
Great food, not ketchup pad Thai that I could tell. One server but she did a wonderful job! Chicken satay was wonderful, chicken Panang was to die for! Absolutely my favorite in the area!
Small portions for the price, and staff seemed unhappy.
Service was fine but the pad thai didn’t have a lot of flavor and was a bit greasy.
Great service delicious food 😋
I had the pineapple fried rice. Everything was fresh, delicious, & plentiful!
I went on Sunday 7/10 with a couple of friends. The restaurant wasn't too busy. I tried the Kraprow Fish and it was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes. Their staff was attentive and nice. Go try it!
We called our order over the phone. The food was ready in 15 minutes. The smell of the food was amazing, making the drive home difficult in a good way. Each dish was extremely delicious.
Pumpkin Thai curry is to die for. Bit pricey but so worth it. Grab a Thai tea while you are eating so yummy.
Friendly service, good menu choices
Great food, good service and prices are pretty good.
Amazing food! I knew this place was going to be good the moment I walked in and it was packed. Had the coconut soup mild, crab puffs and yellow curry medium. My new favorite Thai place. There’s parking space and the shopping area has some cute shops. Over all just yummy food that’s creamy and hot, cooked just right with not problems.
Excellent. Cannot get enough. Will be back often.
Everyone was happy with the food.
Very good food and quick service!
i’ve been to this place, maybe a dozen times over the past few years and it’s always unique and delicious. The service is great, it’s never that crowded, and they have one of the biggest and best menus for a Thai restaurant, I love that they have pictures of everything it’s so helpful
Very good food got shrimp pad si ew, sweet & sour chicken & egg rolls haven't had luck with Chinese or Thai restaurants around the area but this place is excellent definitely recommend.
Food and customer service are always wonderful.
In a world where people can’t seem to slow down; this place does a great job of taking their time with making quality food. I had time for my lady and I to enjoy each other’s company over glasses of wine, then we enjoyed 4 different meals that all tasted great and kept its quality for about 45 min. The staff was helpful and attentive. We ate the food as leftovers and it STILL tasted crunchy and good. Amazing work
The best of Goodyear. Made authentic. Be honest if you need mild spice Thai food is by nature spicy. I personally go for Thai hot and ask them to cook my food as if they were in Thailand. That's why I go to eat Thai food right. Very friendly staff and I always have my favorite beer Singha. So yummy And bold flavor and might I say always ice cold. Clean restaurant. Remember don't be impatient if you want a fresh cooked excellent meal. Give them the time to cook fresh. I love this place you can taste the flavours in the dishes. This dish is one of my favorites and healthy Larb.
Food is good. But Service was HORRIBLE
she’s so rude. I saw some bad reviews everyone said “the lady” is rude. I guess it’s her. Yes Service is horrible
She didn’t even say hi and bring water to us. But she rushed us to order after we sat right away. She should not serve customers .
We got seated and waited for 20 mins , had to get the attention of a waitress to take our order. Once we got our meal she never came to check on us. The Bus Boys were the ones assisting with our needs. The food not so great. Sorry but we didn't have a Great Food Experience. You need Better Customer Service.
Food is always solid. Never had a bad dish. Never actually ate in the restaurant. Always take out highly recommend.
Great food and service; can be a little busy on Friday and Saturday nights.
First time here with family and food was ehhh, service was ok 2 servers they get busy so they kinda forget to come check on you. The pad thai was dry, bbq pork was tough and a bit cold, papaya salad wasn’t great at all, pad see ew was lacking sauce too., all to say hope you go on a god day e definitely won’t be back.
Had the spicy seafood, it was fantastic.
The pineapple in my pineapple fried rice was rotten, fermented and very foul tasting. When I told the server she went back to the kitchen to see what the problem could have been. She returned, admitting that the pineapple was indeed rotten and had spoiled. She then told me she's taking 10% off the price of the fried rice!!! When I glared at her she returned to the kitchen, then came back out saying she misunderstood and I would get 20% off the fried rice. No apologies for ruining my appetite and the meal. If I owned the restaurant I would have charged full price for our other entree but would have comped the rice. I'm never returning to an establishment that doesn't care about serving rotten, fermented food to its customers.
