Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming waitress who made me feel right at home. I decided to try the Green Curry from the lunch menu and requested a mild spice level. The Green Curry had a delightful balance of sweetness, not overpowering but just right. Next time, I plan to explore a slightly higher spice level to enhance the flavors even more.

In addition to the delicious meal, I savored a refreshing glass of iced tea that perfectly complemented the flavors of the curry. The overall experience left me impressed, and I look forward to returning to enjoy both the excellent food and top-notch service once again.

Great Thai food and fantastic service. The restaurant was very clean, as were the bathrooms, I tried the Khoa Paht Phik Sohd, and my partner ordered the Gaeng Ped. Both were delicious. We ordered Lahb for an appetizer, which was very good. All dishes can be ordered at different spice levels. The server was very attentive. Cannot wait to return. Very delicious and can not wait to return.

My family and I have loved Thai Rama for about 10 years now. We go quite frequently and its our go to for special occasions. They usually have spectacular food. Honestly, the best Thai food I've ever had. However, the service has gone severely downhill in the last two years. It takes ages to get a call into them because they're so busy. They open at 5 and sometimes it takes a good hour to get on the phone with them. There have been nights we've never been successful. The phone just rings and rings and rings. Last night my family and I ordered the evil princess curry and the pad Thai with and order of egg rolls and wontons. The food was awful. It tasted like either the food was old from the lunch rush or they got a new chef in who skipped half the spices. We had to throw out our leftovers. My mom tried to email in discreetly to tell the business and the emails won't go through. It stinks because we love this place, but for the expensive price and extreme effort to get an order in just for our food to be terrible it breaks our heart to stop going. I'm hoping the owner or whoever reads this and can improve because we'd love to continue going if things improve...thank you

This restaurant is only restaurant with oriental food that is so incredibly fresh i swear. This place is WAY better than you would think. This is the only restaurant our family gets when getting Thai or Chinese food.

This place is a local favorite for my family. They are kind, courteous and accommodating. And the food is absolutely delicious. Our favorites are the green curry with chicken, the panaeng curry with beef and the path Thai with chicken. And we’ve tried so many other dishes that are just as delicious. If you’ve never been, give them a try. You won’t regret it. The service is top notch and the food will have you coming back for more.

Went there for lunch, really had a good experience, good food, and economical too.

Delicious and very accommodating for vegetarian and vegan diets. They are even able to make the curries without fish sauce. We got the ginger stir fry and Evil Jungle Princess Curry. Both slapped. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Drove across town to eat here and they closed the kitchen early. They could have been polite about it considering they are supposed to be open until 9pm but instead they were rude. Disappointing.

Ordered Paht Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) and Khao Paht Prik Sot (Basil Fried Rice). Both were lovely and authentic to taste! The spice levels are pretty on point so be wary of the extra hot option!

My grandma and I came here yesterday for lunch and were so impressed with the food! Wow. The portions (even for the lunch options) were large and affordable! For appetizers we shared salad rolls and edamame, both were delicious. I got the lunch special Pad Thai with shrimp, and loved it. My grandma got the Red Curry with shrimp, and she loved it. We were offered a small bowl of chicken, rice and ginger soup, that was fantastic as well. Usually I’m weary of shrimp, pork and chicken, because they go bad so much quicker than beef if left out, and I’ve become sick from m restaurants before, so I was hesitant to get the shrimp. However, it’s been over 24 hours since we ate here, and no food poisoning! So happy we found this place, and we will definitely be going back soon!

Check your bill carefully before paying! The prices on the bill are much higher than the menu prices and they add items you didn't order to the check.

An initial good impression was ruined when we saw that they overcharged us on every menu item we ordered. They don't honor their menu prices and charge whatever they feel like after the fact. Good experience turned terrible!

This restaurant is engaging in outright theft and fraud. The prices on the menu are not the prices that will appear on your check. Evidently, the owners think gouging customers is a good idea. To the owners - Just be honest and straightforward with the price you want to charge and have some integrity. You lost my business!

All in all, this place has been in Arizona for 15 years. And it's better than ever.

First off, I'm surprised they do not have a perfect 5/5 star rating. This is the BEST Thai place in all of AZ. Where do I even begin?
Throughout College I discovered Thai Rama in Tempe as well as a few other Thai locations.
Fast forward 6 years, I've been to 15+ Thai restaurants and NONE, I mean none compare to Thai Rama.

They make the best Panang Curry hands down from the ones I've tried. I promise you won't regret it or I'll pay for your meal.
They have other amazing options as well but the Chicken Panang Curry is my favorite. It is made so perfect and true to form.
Well priced for Thai Food and top notch. This restaurant has a special place in my heart and if they go away I'll do everything in my power to keep them alive.

I was visiting my girlfriend and her daughter and wanted to take her out to dinner. Looked up some Thai restaurants and found this little hidden gem. Food was great - I had papaya salad, my girlfriend had pineapple fried rice, and her daughter had pineapple curry with tofu. They have so many vegan options and food was great! If you like spice, ask for medium. Anything more than that might be too spicy for you to taste your food. Mild is good but a little bland.

This is NOT the same nor nearly as good as Thai Rama Phoenix. I ordered Tom Kha soup and it was scorching hot with no creamy nor complex flavors. The small amount of coconut milk was curdled. No kafir like no galengal root I’m not sure how you can call this Tom Kha soup?

How this place has 4.5 stars blows my mind. Upon entry, the restaurant air was pungently stagnant and dimly lit. At this point I already had doubts about the place, but prayed on the food being at least above average. Food is edible, but had more flavors on a Cathay Pacific economy flight. One extra star for the Thai tea being decent.

Ordered pad Thai and the red curry with chicken at 5/5 spice level. Neither plates would have passed 3/10 spicy levels from other restaurants. Pad thai was gummy and spongy in an unpleasant way and the red "curry" tasted like a microwaved Le Crois coconut drink with pink dye. The chicken was... meat of some sort I guess.

Pass on this place. Gave it a shot thinking it would be decent due to the reviews and the location being across the street from 99 Ranch, but the near-abandoned lot should have given it away.

We loved our first experience at this location and our server, Josh, was very nice and attentive to our table. We loved our yellow curry with chicken and our chicken and shrimp pad thai (which spelled differently in their menu "Paht Thai"). Both were delicious and such a good amount! With the restaurant slowly filling up we were able to enjoy a nice dinner and not having to speak loudly. Josh checked on us to make sure we are satisfied with our food. I like sauce on my pad thai so he made sure I had extra sauce which was perfect in every bite.

We had their lunch specials and the quantity was perfect. Their egg rolls are a big hit - very crunchy.

This is the 'go to' place for my wife and I for Thai food. I always judge Thai restaurants through their Pad Thai - if they can't make a good version of this staple dish, then they're usually not worth it. Thai Rama makes an excellent Pad Thai. We love that you can choose a heat level. The top ones are no joke, but somehow still seem very full of flavor and not just spicy hot.

I've had several of their dishes over the years and I can recommend all them.

Our favorite dine in and take out place. My favorite is yellow curry lunch special mild to medium. My mom and husband order panang curry. My brother gets 2 orders of the Thai wings, he is on a diet. My son get the Mac n cheese and fries. My dad gets pad see u, it's a wide noodle dish.

I enjoy a Thai Iced Tea. Everything is tasty can't go wrong with any dish.

The lunch special soup tasted amazing it was so unique I've never had anything like it. You can get a whole bowl for only $5. I've seen people come here just to order the lunch special soup that they even run out.

The waiters provide excellent customer service. They are so welcoming and very attentive to your needs. Plus, the restaurant provides free WiFi. Their Thai tea is the best you'll ever have too.

Thai Rama Chandler is always spot on with the flavor of their food. The staff is courteous and has a nice calm atmosphere. Their drive through service is awesome for those of us who cannot take the time to dive in. They’re always on time for the times they quote for the drive through pickup.

The prices went up when the bill came on all dishes without warning from the wait staff. Also a convenience fee for credit card usage was added on without showng the charges. If we did not ask and pay cash, they would have pocketed the difference. All restaurants need to raise prices to make a profit but let the customers know.

All the servers last Sunday had piercings and tattoos. It distracted my hubby and I! However, I just stared at them the whole time because they were quite attractive. Enjoyed my paht thai and pad soo e though!

Interior was old and out of date, service was attentive at first and then ignored us after we got our food (drinks sat empty for a while and we had to go find the waitress to pay). Green curry was sub par: chicken was bland, eggplant was undercooked and very seedy, and it had WAY too many baboo shoots (they were most of what was in the curry). I love green curry and this is the first disappointing one I've ever encountered. Will not visit again.
