We stopped in for a takeout order and the service was fast. The restaurant inside is lightly decorated and had a nice casual vibe. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, Thai hot level. It wasn’t as hot as I thought it would be. I would rank it at a “medium”. The fried rice was good and had huge shrimps, but the tomato and lemon really threw me off. I’ll try something else next time.

Next we tried the veggie egg rolls and I forgot the other but both were amazing. For meals my wife had Pad Gra Phrao with Basil. This was amazing. My mother had the Pad Beef Broccoli and it as well tasted very good and the meat was very tender it could of had a little more of the juice or sauce with it would be the only change . I had a beef noodle dish which was good as well. The noodles were a little over cooked but still great. Also we made sure we asked for everything to be spicy and well it was not at all so if you like spicy go for it but it definitely does not have that Thai chili kick to it that you may be use to if you are used to eating this food in Thailand. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place

My husband and I just ate at this restaurant. Their fried squid was average but their special, Kai Soi was great! Very filling and perfect to warm you up from inside out!
Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast. The medium heat is really mild.

My all time favorite is the deep fried squid. Perfect crispy calamari paired with their special sweet chili sauce and a iced Thai green tea, so good! This is what I’ve got in the photo along with chicken Pad Ze Ew and spring rolls. Always my go to for when I’m really hungry.

Simply the best.

Place has some dank red curry, best red curry in town. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because most Thai restaurants in town know what “thai hot” is. The spice level is…tremendously for the mild. If you like the thai spice level, I recommend getting a small cup of the dried red thai pepper. Most their curries are top game, very fatty/thick. Good place, kind people

This place is great, the food was tasty it came out fast and hot! I ordered the beef basil but got chicken by mistake and it was still really good. Have been going for years and will go back again.

The first time I went there, I fell in looove with their Pad thai. The next time I tried a dish that was not as good. The third time I came back for the Pad Thai, and the taste was not the same - it was missing a looot of sauce. I dislike the lack of quality control, I think lemongrass is more consistent.

Loved the Specials khao-Soi soup. We ordered with veggies and medium spicy. It was just perfect and so filling.

Always fast and delicious. The curry puffs are my favorite appetizer.

A review purely based on the bad thai: the sauce they use is tomatoe based or something... I don't even think it has any tamarind in there. And there wasn't even enough of it. It was bland. But they serve it on paper so that's good when you're ordering out. So if you're just ordering pad thai, stay away.

This Bahn Thai is my wife and I favorite Thai food in Fairbanks. Very fresh food and fantastic service.

We had some pretty bland Thai food on our first night in Fairbanks, but with so many Thai places here I wanted to give the city another chance. Eating at Bahn Thai was a definite improvement, and pretty good. It wasn't the very best I've had, but it was solid. The husband's was pretty bland, though. I think we'd definitely give it another shot, and it was definitely the better of the two we ate at while in Fairbanks.

I found that the Thai food lacked consistent spicy levels between the two dishes we ordered to share. Also for me the lack of fish sauce in the dish for my taste. But they were happy to bring me some out. I was going to give it a three but then again I believe it was $10 a dish so it's hard to beat the price.

My boyfriend and I go there often in the summer. They're very fast in preparation and they're very tasty. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Quality of food was not bad, prices are acceptable in compare with other oriental restaurant in Fairbanks.
The main problem is the manner of servers. I was there 2 times and 2 different servant but both times, servers was rude and we had low quality service

I visited couple of thai places here in Fairbanks. I like to say this is best place to eat if you like fresh and tasty food. The price is just perfect and the amount of food is also good. Service is average. Among the many items I tasted I recommend that they can take care of the size of their fried egg roll. Other than that it's the best place to eat.

In the inside corner pocket of a strip mall, small and cozy. No pretense, but great Thai. Smart staffing. Good service. What's not to love?

I eat at this restaurant at least twice a week. They are totally consistent in their food preparation, and portion size. Very friendly staff. Not quite on par with Lemon Grass, but they do a decent Thai meal, and are close to my house.

I would be careful about seafood in general in Fairbanks, as everything is of course frozen from the start. I've gotten bad seafood more than once, but I don't really hold this against the restaurants as much as I do the demand and our location. Still, if the fish smells, it's bad and they should not serve it. I just avoid seafood and avoid the problem.

Ordered the pad Thai and it didn't have much flavor. Also the spring rolls were very tiny. Service was good and they had a nice atmosphere.

My favorite Thai food in FBX. Avocado 🥑 green curry is my favorite. Lots of other good food too. Noodles rice whatever. I try to go everytime I do laundry next door. Its a good way to wait for your clothes to dry.

Thai food in Fairbanks is pretty much always good and Bahn Thai Express is no different. Its defining feature though is good prices and fast service for both pick up or sit down eating. Call ahead and your order is ready for pickup in less than 15minutes. I end up eating there a couple times a month :)

Very tasty pad krao pao. I love the food here. It is absolutely tasty. The only complaint that I have is that the portions or horrible. If you're going to order here make sure you order extra meat or vegetables. Very clean. My bf ordered pork and they have him chicken though.
