Authentic Thai Restaurant
Ordered a poke bowl through door dash, rice was hard and clumpy. Looked like it was a couple of days old. Called the restaurant and let them know. Woman said they would remake it with fresh rice. Nice, but why not ALWAYS make it fresh. And please add condiments in bag. Soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, SOMETHING! It was dry
Absolutely amazed at this place ! Friendly people, amazing delicious food, good portions, good price, and the wood carvings and decoration just beautiful. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and have to rely on New Orleans for a decent Thai place. But Hoover Alabama has them all beat. Excellent dining experience, nicest forks and spoons ive ever seen at a restaurant. Prices super reasonable. Food leaves tasty impression on you down the road. Highly recommend, we just googled a place and hit this hot spot.
I doordashed here the other night and saw that they sale Pho on the menu. Been seeing it on TikTok and really wanted to try it. It’s cold and raining today so I got the beef pho as it came. I didn’t need to add anything to it. 10/10. The customer service was excellent too. They are so nice. Will definitely be going back to try other dishes!
Food was below average. I have been there before and food was excellent. But this time they let me down. Curry was like water with coconut milk and curry masala. When I asked server, she changed the curry and the other curry that she brought was better.
Service was terrible. Server was not concerned of what's going on and didn't bother to clear up the empty dishes.
Never gonna go back to this place.
There are so many options for Thai cuisine in the city that this one could be easy to miss. That would be unfortunate, as this is one of the better Thai places around. It's in a strip mall and shares parking with the other shops, so that can occasionally be a pain, but that is really the only complaint you could make about the visit. The food is good, staff are accommodating and the ambiance is authentic.
What a great place this is, a few days ago we were trying to find a good Thai restaurant and we just did! Great Thai flavors, excellent meal choices across the menu, we had Shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken Dazzeling crystal noodle and also love the choices of spiciness for each meal, finished of with a bowl of coconut ice cream and blended that with pistachio cake, awesome combination, staff where very nice and attentive.
We will be back for more different flavors to try and I absolutely would recommend several mouth watering visits 👍👍

I ordered a green curry with chicken for takeout today and I was surprised to see that they only give you about two tablespoons of rice with their dishes. When I called, they said that they only give one scoop of rice with their lunch orders. I guess they intend their customers to eat the curry like a soup, not with rice. They also put their curry in aluminum foil and put it in a takeout box, instead of putting it in a plastic container like most other places do. When I got to work, the curry had leaked and it was very difficult to eat it on aluminum foil. They also didn't include any utensils and when I called they said they didnt include any utensils because I didnt include it in instructions..why does the customer have to a request utensils on a takeout order? All in all, horrible experience, avoid if possible. Super cheap place. At least give people what they paid for.
The interior of this place is very beautiful, however the food was a big disappointment. Came for the pho and had my order messed up. After I sent it back It returned lukewarm and not very good even though it was correct now. The mushroom soup was extremely sweet and slimy.. tiny egg roll.. I was going to fix my pho to make it taste better but when I asked they said they dpng offer any sauces like hoisin, soy sauce, Sriracha etc
I say this because I've heard great reviews and I eat alot of Thai food! Not that great in my opinion. The Thai tea was pretty good though ☺
I reccomend Thai basil or Thai sushi instead, or if you are looking for pho like me saigon noodle house is good
Okay, but nothing to write home about. I chose between this place and another highly rated one, and I regret the choice
Pretty solid place!
Quiet ambiance. Great food
This place has been among the lowest health scores in the city TWICE in the last few months. Take from that what you will.
We have been repeat customers for many years, and really enjoy your restaurant. Once the health rating is addressed, we will be back. Understand that things sometimes happen, but I am sure this can be remedied.
Thanks!!
Great place for Thai in Birmingham
Great service. Short wait time for fresh food. Able to choose spice level. Quiet ambiance.
We ordered 1 dish to share. Asked if we could do chicken and tofu mixed. She never explained they would be charging an additional $6.00. Plus another $2.50 for extra rice. The serving was on the small side, hardly enough to even share between us. The chicken was thigh meat chunks, not even chicken breast like every other Thai restaurant we’ve been to. Red curry was weak in flavor and not rich in the slightest. Find another Thai restaurant if you have standards.
Was a great Thai restaurant. Yesterday the 3 of us arrived about 4:30. Ordered appetizer came out, Fried Rice and Sushi came out. 20 minutes later server asked if we needed anything else & I said yes did you forget my order. She said it will bee right out. I called for manager & said I am not paying for my order. I will take it to go, however. Server comes out with dish, I said it is to go. 10 minutes later I get my food to go. We spent over an hour mostly waiting for my dish. No apology, no tip. BTW we were the only guests there for a while.
Sat for 15 minutes and no one acknowledged we were there. Tried to get someone’s attention but they just walked by. We left.
I have been coming here on and off for twenty years now. The food is good, the prices are good, the decor is fun, and there's even plenty of parking as a bonus. The dishes can be ranged from white-people-spicy to "Thai Hot" and they mean it! Always get a Thai Iced Tea if you can, they're lovely.
Enjoyed a delicious bowl of Tom Kha Gai and a plate of Basil Chicken on Rice. This is one of my favorite dishes at this establishment.
The peanut sauce is so good.
Love their food definitely a great place to go and sit down and eat
Calamari is just onion rings that taste like rubber, shrimp lomein has all tails to remove, way overpriced and did not taste good at all.
Good but the server needs a little training
Great food and service
Atmosphere was nice and service was good, but don't get the curry, it only very vaguely resembles thai curry. I was looking forward to a nice thai curry.
Being from Lafayette, Louisiana the food was alright, I rather Thai/Chinese back home .
This place is garbage. Accepted our order and then cancelled it after we waited for 1 hour.
Atmosphere and Service was good but the food was terrible. The red curry chicken had all the flavors but the chicken was mushy like it was in an instant pot. The soup was flavorless and tasted old and the spring roll was really small and no flavor as well. Save your time and money for the gas station Thai place down the street.
I ordered from here on Uber Eats since I'm currently sick. I got the Steamed Dumplings, Beef Pho, and the California roll with cream cheese added. I can't taste much of anything due to my nose being stopped up, but I wanted to give it a shot anyway. The Steamed Dumplings were SOOOO tasty and mouth watering, and the medium heat I ordered for the pho cleaned my sinuses right out lol the california roll was okay, but I'm learning that cream cheese doesn't belong in some sushi. Everything was so flavorful and made me want more although I was stuffed silly. I hope I can visit in person one day and try more of their menu
This place got a 64 rate from the Health department due to German cockroach infestation in the sushi bar area and failure to remove the dead ones! Not ever coming back!
Delicious food. Great ambience. While there was an error with one of our entrees, the staff offered a 10% discount without having to be asked. Will be returning!
This is a restaurant that has given up on its customers and itself. My last to go order took over an hour for the food to be ready, and the restaurant itself was quite dirty. Staff sitting on their phones. The recent health score rating, citing a rampant cockroach infestation, lines up with what I saw: apathetic staff and management who have given up.
Drunken noodles and beef pho was too good
Ordered takeout on a road trip. The food was delicious and the order was all correct. It was a bit more of a wait than I expected, but they seemed to have tons of to go orders and they were managing a lot. I will try to stop by again when I'm passing through.
Taste of Thailand, 3321 Lorna Rd., Hoover
12/27/23 Health Inspection Score: 64 out of 100
Critical Food Safety violations: 5
Taste of Thailand in Hoover had the lowest score of any Jefferson County restaurant inspected in December 2023, as well as the most critical violations of any establishment with a sub-85 score.
During the Dec. 27 inspection, a Jefferson County health department employee observed and notated the following:
-“Accumulation of German cockroaches on the wall and countertop sushi bar area.”
-“Dead German cockroaches and roach droppings on countertop and wall in sushi bar area.”
-“Cease operations in sushi bar area until approved for operations (by the health department).”
This establishment received a critical failing score below 65 by the health dept so I will not return for any reason.
Had the green curry with shrimp, panang curry and chicken satay. Great flavour and ambience.
Recently went and got the crab wontons and spicy beef Thai basil rice. Went with a group where there is an 18% service charge added to everyone’s bill so I didn’t tip. All that together should be roughly $25. Looking at the charge later found that they charged me $31 dollars. I didn’t get a receipt, so I’m not able to go in and show them proof of them overcharging me. Very disappointed in them for doing that when I enjoy their food.
My Weeping Tiger salad was burnt, took forever to get the food. We had to repeatedly ask for water. Usually they are amazing.
BE WARNED: The prices on the menu are most likely not what you will be charged!
I have been eating here for 10 years and have enjoyed it. But I ate here last night with my wife and we noticed that my green curry was $19 on the bill, while the menu said it would only be $12.95. I requested extra vegetables in my curry but found it to be the same amount I have always gotten from here. My wife’s was $16 while the menu said $12.95.
I addressed the price disparity with our nice waitress and she spoke with the manager refused who to come to the table. He told her to simply point to a sub text on the menu that states that prices are subject to change without notification. Apparently the few frozen carrots and peas they added were $4 as well. If they had prepared us beforehand by mentioning that the prices are slightly higher than listed, I would have accepted that and continued as normal. But the hostile treatment when asking for clarification and the general bad attitude over us simply inquiring have made this my last trip to Taste of Thailand. It just seems like dishonest business..
Avoid. Mediocre food. Confused service.
My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. We had not been for a while so it was hard to remember the spice level. It turns out that medium was a bit mild for me but just right for my wife.
I wish I had asked about the larb. Another table ordered it and it looked like it was served with a wedge of cabbage for assembly by the diner. That is how I remember the dish from years ago.
Great food, and takeout is much quicker than it used to be! Very pleased to add this restaurant back as one of my top picks!
Previous Post: On multiple occasions, they told me the food would be ready in 15-20 minutes, and then the food is not only not ready when I arrive 30 minutes later, but I'm also told to wait an additional 10 minutes. I'd have no complaints if they were just honest about the length of time it would take to prepare my food.
Restaurant cancelled my Uber order even though they are open for another hour.
We were traveling through and the first thing I did was go to the bathroom and it was disgusting. Dingy and dirty, overflowing trash, shoes sticking to the floor, it felt like a sketchy gas station where you didn't want to touch anything. It's hard to feel good about eating food somewhere after such an experience because it makes me wonder what the kitchen is like. The food had decent flavor but was average in my experience. The curry was served on a large plate instead of in a bowl so there was little sauce and it got cold quickly. Our water was only filled once and that was after asking. We were catching up with a friend but it felt like we were being rushed out of a mostly empty restaurant. We picked this place based on the overall star rating but I would try another place if I had a do over.

Nice and quiet atmosphere. Love the pad thai and sushi. Everything tastes fresh, server's are polite and helpful.
Took my sister there at her request. I am a novice at Thai food and am developing a taste for it. I enjoyed their food and atmosphere. Our server was so kind, helpful and polite.
First off, I grew up on this restaurant. My family frequented this place when i was growing up. It’s been awhile since I’ve been there. After not eating there for a while, my gf and I went for lunch on Sunday probably about 1:30 PM. The place wasn’t that busy. We were seated and nothing was wrong with the booth or the ambiance. It took nearly 10 minutes for one of the servers to come see us. Once our server came over, we gave her our complete order: 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, and 2 entrees. The first thing on the table was the appetizer. Our drinks came about 5 minutes later and we were already half way done with the spring rolls (appetizer). About may be 5-7 minutes later, our entrees arrive. My gf and I have no complaints about the food. The Pad Thai was great! It had the perfect level of spice and it tasted fresh. Well, we spent may be 20-30ish more minutes eating, but we both became full, so we needed to-go boxes and the check. We didn’t see where our server was, and we saw other servers doing side work and talking amongst themselves. At this point, it’s been nearly 25 minutes since we finished what we were going to eat and waiting for our server to get us checked out and ask for to-go boxes. I told my gf that she should go wait in the car and I’ll be out once our server returns and I finish paying. My gf leaves and it’s another 10ish minutes before the server comes up to the table and asks me if everything is all right. After I tell the server what I needed, she brought me the boxes and the check. My gf and I spent nearly 35 minutes just to close out.
My point: I think there’s new management running this place, but whoever is running it needs to train the servers better. Our server seemed inattentive and uninterested. I was a server since I was 15 and im 30 now. I don’t think servers need to be at a table hand and foot every 2 minutes, but you should at least check on your tables at an appropriate frequency to seem like you actually care to be at your job.
So I have eaten at Taste of Thailand and it was very good. The service was a little off on my last trip there but for the most part very worthy of the 4/5 stars. I like eating different cuisines and this place did not disappoint. It is a very good place to grab a nice dinner. I was very impressed with the food quality and the prices. It was very reasonable. I will definitely be back for my next time I want Thai food for dinner.
use to be great!! last time we went food was cold and late!!! I heard MORE NO then yes mean they were out of so many things... service was slow!! server looked sad..
We used to LOVE this place, unfortunately, there’s been a change of management. Our dinner was SURROUNDED by fruit flies! So nasty! When we complained to our server, she said, “Yes, they know.” WHAT???!!! It is disgusting. Sadly, this was our last visit.
I got their sampler appetizer basket and it was meh, could have been better. I also ordered their thai tea and it came in a small glass mug vs my husband's cup who got dr pepper. You have to ask for a refill if you want a refill they don't come and automatically refill it for you, guess they want to make sure you want to be charged more for a refill. Me and my husband got their hot pots and it was good that was the only thing good about our dinning experience. Just the waitress was very slow in coming to ask for things and dropping off the check. But at least she was polite. All the staff are Indian so that kinda threw me off. Being a thai person and seeing non thai staff running an "authentic" thai restaurant is a little strange but they did good with the flavors of the food. I was just visiting but i don't think I'd come back here if I stopped in Alabama.
Worst pho I’ve ever had
We walked out of the place because not a single server was attending to us (or anyone) , and were instead busy chatting amongst themselves. We waited a good 6 to 8 minutes for someone to come ask what we’d like to drink. Horrible.
We enjoyed the food but, service has been VERY slow, our last two visits. Good luck on getting a refill on a drink!!
I love the pineapple fried rice, it looks and tastes delicious
This is the best restaurant I had ever visited ,good food and ambience is awesome .
The place is soo good ,i went with my friends, enjoyed alot .must visit restaurant
Great place….. great food
I love the Pad Thai in here
The ambience is very good and food tastes delicious.
Food is very tasty and it’s a great place for family dining.
Used to be our favorite restaurant. But the quality has gone down recently. On more than two occasions, they charged me but “forgot” to include items I’ve paid for. Once I can attribute to human error, but 2/3 times? That’s negligence. After picking up such an order and reaching home, I found they forgot yet another item. Calling them is pointless — they are closed now and their mailbox is full. So, beware! Check if they actually gave you all the items you paid for. This has become a common trend. When you spend 80+ dollars on a take out order, you expect to get the items you pay for, right?
This used to be a very good restaurant, but I’ve been recently and it has changed a lot. Being vegetarian I substitute tofu often, but now I can’t get my favorite curry since they don’t substitute anymore. The water was straight out of the tap with no filter and tasted bad. The fried rice I got wasn’t very flavorful. The tofu wasn’t good either. This is my second time trying it after the change of management and I won’t be back.
The food was really good but the waitress seemed nervous and forgot some things we said about the order but that's alright anyways super good food I recommend the crunchy roll (ps they don't have any chicken tenders or picky children options)
The customer service is fairly friendly, but I feel like the owners are cheating their loyal customers by charging us $4 more for plates 1/4 the size they used to be. I understand inflation sucks, but I used to have 3 meals off of one plate. Nowadays, I’m finished before I’m full. Like another review said, the quality of ingredients has also changed. I hope they take heed to the reviews and things improve because this was my go-to spot for curry before.
My favorite spot for Thai Curry. I eat here every week. Everything is delicious. Never had a bad meal.
This place used to be amazing, but it looks like there’s been a change in management that’s affected the quality of both the food and service. The ingredients seem less fresh and lower in quality. The sushi used to be one of the highlights, but you can also tell that it’s not being made the same way and just doesn’t taste as good. The spring roll filling has a mushy texture (as well as the fried rice), and the seasoning in all the dishes seemed off. All the dishes were far too sweet and under salted.
I hate giving a small business such a negative review, but it just wasn’t any good. Sad to lose such a good Thai place closer to home.
Very mixed experience. The decor of the restaurant is very strange and disjointed but it is clean. Our server was new and she was nice but not the most helpful.
We got the spring rolls and fried vegetable rolls as an appetizer. The spring rolls were very meh, but the fried vegetable rolls with vinegar dipping sauce were great. We ordered the Tom kha soup and the first time the spice level was wrong, the second time all the veggies were completely raw and had been added right before serving. The third time they came back with the same bowl of soup but some of the veggies picked out. Finally we got the pad Thai and we ate the whole thing because we were hungry but it was just ok.
All in all, we won't be going back because there are better places in town, but if you know what to order the food is decent and prices aren't bad.
Terrible service. Been here 3 times and always have problems getting service. Waitress kept bringing wrong food to our Table and lost actual order. Every Table who arrived after us got their food. Had to leave before we got our food.
Delicious! Love that I vould pick my spicy level on the noodles! The calamari was very lightly seasoned and a little over cooked but the sauce with it made up for that. The chicken with lettuce wraps were also delicious. Lomaine noodles with chicken and vegetables was flavorful and filling. I will order again.
Excellent ambience for group dining, but absolutely no service. All staff are new and have no clue on how to take orders or serve. After 50 mins, our group was told to change all drink orders to soda or sweet tea, as they don't have milk or boba, etc.. Not even water was served in first hour. The interval between first person in the getting the lunch order and the last person was more than 2 hrs. Couple of vegetarians tasted chicken that day, as they messed up the orders and casually said orders might have mixed up a little. Same orders for different people came in completely different sizes. It appears some trainees are running the show without any supervision. Prices were low compared to other Thai places. Overall we spent close to 4 hrs in the group lunch. Hardly there were any other people in the restaurant this whole time. Never going to go back here again.
cockroach found in my yum talae
I’m pretty disappointed with the service and how the food came out. Tonight I did a call in order. I live 3 minutes away from the restaurant and thought to give them a try. When I called to order my food, I had to repeat myself multiple times and I was pretty loud and clear on what I would like to order… only for me to pick up my food and my order was incorrect. I ordered Thai chicken wings with a side of fried rice. They thought I ordered something else when I’ve made it clear on what I want so they fixed my order. The staff and along with the atmosphere was stand-offish and mad weird. The rice was ok.. but it was giving more of Chinese fried rice instead of Thai and the chicken was okay. The food I ordered did not match to what I expected because clearly there is a significant difference in Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and Viennese food.. The food did not look or taste like Authentic Thai food. Respectfully, Imma just stick with Surin West located in downtown Birmingham.
Excellent restaurant!
Food was wonderful, although they were out of a lot of items. What food we were able to have was amazing.
So sad, this place was amazing when the owner was actually Thai . Now it is owned by a completely different culture and the food has gone down hill , I'm sure the original owner would be so saddened to see it like this.
Food is great
Will not return. Would have preferred hunger as an option. Might as well, left hungry anyway.
El servicio es muy bueno y la comida es exquisita😋😋😋
I have been here several times and picked up take out the staff is very friendly and the food is excellent would recommend to anyone
Just don’t do it. It used to be good, hadn’t been in a while and now, looks like a dying restaurant. Placed an order to go and waiting 1 hour. For to go. Employees are at the bar (where you pick up to go) with 1/3 full restaurant, hot mess…no one answering phone, looks like 1-2 people working floor. I worked restaurant biz 25 years and this one has red flags all over it…good luck.
The best Thai food in Birmingham! Always delicious! The duck curry and pad thai are the best! Love this place!
My favorite BHM area restaurant. Good selection of great food and prices. Probably my kids' favorite lo mein, our current go-to when they are being picky.
Good Thai food made with fresh ingredients. Friendly and attentive service. My favorite restaurant in the area.
The place is dated, they took 15 minutes to acknowledge us, half of the menu isn't available, they took 30 minutes to bring us water, the fresh roll was old and nasty, the food was over seasoned or under seasoned, the waiter smelled like he didn't bathe in a month, and the bathroom is nasty and didnt have soap. The absolute worst experience at a restaurant in my life. Do not come here.
One of the best little known Thai places in Alabama. The food is delicious and authentic. They must have gotten either new owners or different chefs in the last decade since I moved away and came back but it's still good. Do wish the larb was served the way it was originally but overall wonderful quiet beautiful setting with attentive staff.
Sehr lecker und schnell
Excelent food & service.
Food was great. Will definitely be back.
Good authentic food
Wonderful dining experience! Coconut soup was delicious! I will definitely be back!
The atmosphere of this place is perfect for a date: as you can see in the photo, the room is dimly lit and adorned with lovely details. We visited on a Sunday and only saw one other company across the room from us, with the rest of the tables unoccupied, which provided intimacy. The service was great: our waitress didn't bother us much, but was very helpful recommending us things to try as we wanted to get ourselves acquainted with the Thai cuisine. Their Tom Kha soup with coconut broth, a touch of lime, chicken (you can also choose to make it with veggies or beef), and freshly cut crispy onions was fresh, light, and delicious! We also introduced ourselves to Red Curry with bamboo and beef (you can also opt for chicken) was slightly spicy, creamy, and rich in flavor; and the funny named Bagle Roll, though not of Thai origin at all, tasted great as well, thanks to the unfailing combination of smoked salmon and cream cheese. My Cosmopolitan coctail wasn't a masterpiece, the taste of alcohol itself was pretty rough; but maybe it is just not the right place to order such things. However, the glassware was nice and they served water in glass, too, which was a nice touch and added to the whole vibe of the restaurant. I recommend this place if you want to try something different in a lovely, calm, even romantic environment!

The food is excellent. I love the Pad Thai, Thai hot. There's something for everyone- stir fry, sushi, traditional Thai dishes, fish, salads, and curries. The service is great too.
Nice restaurant for a casual dinner. People were nice. Hotel ambience was good. Pad thai was really nice. Cashew stir fry with chicken was not that impressive, it was kind of bland and had lots of veggies. Spicy chicken wings was good for appetizer. Would recommend this place for pad thai.
Frequented this place in the '90s and recently stopped there for lunch with my son. The food and service are just as good as I remembered from decades ago. Perfect place for lunch or dinner when you want to have a conversation and enjoy good food.
Omg!!! This was my first time here and the place was beautiful inside... clean and the staff friendly even though it seemed like one guy was waiting on all the tables he did not miss a beat!! We did not feel like they were short staffed! He was amazing!! But the food was awesome!! Definitely will be back...I got pics but we dove right in sorry sorry half eaten on some.. lol 😆
Great food and service
BIG menu lots of choices
Had Kang pou chicken. Just right wonderful flavor
It was my first time there. I enjoyed the food. So many dish choices. I ordered a different take out dish.
I ordered red curry and was served a different dish and then server was arguing that I was wrong
Great food and service. Definitely recommend the panag chicken
I ordered the curry duck. It tasted very good, however it’s not worth $16.50 I paid for it. There is very little duck pieces and a few vegetables. A small container of rice is included. All in all, good taste but it’ll not fill you up
went in sunday after the lunch crowd. sat at our table while three different servers waited on tables all around us and never one acknowledged us. never even took our drink order. after the 6th time they walked by our table and ignored us, we left.
Went in got seated at a table waited for 40 minutes no showed up to our table to greet us or even take our drink orders. I told a waitress if someone was going to help us. She told me to hold on then went to argue with some of her coworkers, because none of them including her wants to help our table. My wife and I got up and left instead. I like the food but the lack of service was awful today. W
The duck is amazing. The service is the best I've ever had. If your looking for the perfect date night please come here. Hi ying❤️
Save your time and money- go to Blue Pacific for Thai on Lorna Rd 1 minute away
I never write reviews because I don't care that much, but this was not good. Between all of us we got Thai tea, sushi, pad Thai, red hot fettuccine. None of it was good. The Thai tea was watery, the sushi was fried hard and tasted like a hotdog with a bagel type salmon instead of sushi grade salmon. I asked for hottest spice level on fettuccine and it has no spice, and was about a 1/2 cup of noodles. The shrimp was not deveined. The pad Thai had no distinct taste. The wait staff was inattentive, unenthusiastic-we had to physically get up to ask for checks, ask to order food, etc.
The place is decorated nicely and the dishes and place was clean, and the food was not in edible, but nothing was worth the $14 of each item.
Blue Pacific on Lorna Rd is Thai food that is actually authentic, tasty, and around $8 a plate, although it lacks atmosphere. It's one minute away just go there.
Excellent food and the service was great. One of my favorite places.
It was great 👍
Great food and service. Really recommend the pineapple fried rice and the chocolate tower cake.
The ambience is really nice and the food is great as well!! I love the papaya salad!
I really like the food and staff. Today had 3 sauce Catfish
I loved this place years ago, however I came in on Wednesday, November 3, with my girlfriend for a year. We were promptly greeted by a gentleman at the front desk. We were promptly seated in a nice section of the restaurant and that was it. A table of 4 was sat after me and they soon had their drinks. Knowing the staffing situation going on in restaurants I'm very laid back and never complain. What an embarrassing night after girlfriend left to go get something to eat while I waited for another 15 minutes before a lady approached me. I told her what happened and he said a manager would return. He took down my name and number and offered 20% off. Like....really. I am a restaurant professional and never would approach an angry guest with 20%. We went to Habeneros instead and spent half the money.
Good food and service
This place is always great. We had the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp and the Basil Chicken with white rice. Both came with the coconut tofu soup and spring rolls. All the food was great and really hard not to completely stuff our faces with everything on the plate. This is a lesser-known Thai restaurant for the Birmingham but it is definitely a gem.
Friendly staff awesome food.😁👍
Wouldn't seat us at 2:20. Said "sorry we close at 2:30". It's ok, food and service has steadily gone down hill.
Great food n atmosphere. Lovely decor.
Good food. Generous portions.
Sweet mother of baby Jesus. I wish I could give this place 100stars. This is the best and I mean absolutely the best curry I have had in the USA. Nothing outside of Thailand compares. The prices are great the service is tremendous and the while vibe of the place is wonderful.
Did not like the service.
Excellent food, reasonable prices, and great service.
Awesome food
What a great place this is, a few days ago we were trying to find a good Thai restaurant and we just did! Great Thai flavors, excellent meal choices across the menu, we had Shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken Dazzeling crystal noodle and also love the choices of spiciness for each meal, finished of with a bowl of coconut ice cream and blended that with pistachio cake, awesome combination, staff where very nice and attentive.
We will be back for more different flavors to try and I absolutely would recommend several mouth watering visits 👍👍
So much better than Massaman. Great decor and atmosphere. Good service. Food was great.
Delicious, novelty dishes (try the pineapple fried rice if you like sweet stuff!) and great, nice service.
Not Thai at all.
I’m half Thai, my mother is Thai, I’ve been all over Thailand, this food is not Thai.
I asked, the cook is from China.
Avoid this restaurant.

Arrived to a clean restaurant with friendly employees practicing CoViD precautions with masks.
Placed our order of Potstickers (6 for $7.95) and then looked over the extensive menu. I’ve never seen such a selection. If they don’t have it listed, I doubt it exists.
It wasn’t but a couple of minutes and the potstickers were placed before us. Hot, shrimp filled dumplings with a sweet chili sauce to dip them in. I can highly recommend this appetizer.
Our entrees arrived a few minutes after we finished our appetizer. The husband got Musman Chicken Curry ($12.95). He ordered it Thai Hot (4 Chili’s). It came with your traditional curry, potatoes, cashews, and a side of rice. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
I ordered the Pad Khee-Mao (Drunken Noodles - $10.95). It was a Thai chicken stir-fry loaded with peppers, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, baby corn, mushrooms, carrots, and wide rice noodles. It was delicious. I chose it to be mild as I’m not the dare devil he is.
I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return soon.
The food was delicious.
Best Thai in town! Lots of options for vegetarians.
