I would have given all 5 stars until we received the bill followed by the bill requiring a signature.

1. We understand, tourist areas, gratuities are hard to come by. We don't mind tipping.

~~~Employees should receive an actual "able to live" wage rather than relying on tips and establishment taking a tip credit. I worked in payroll support for 27+ years and know how tips and tip credits work.
In my opinion, tipping should be done away with completely. Working in payroll support, I also know "tipped" employees are audited more often. I also know employees don't report their full cash tips (indirect tipping).
We walked to restaurant.
We stopped in for a late lunch. Establishment is very clean. We were seated immediately. Water brought quickly. Hand held menus are very worn. Recommend using online menu, but be aware of difference in prices.
Server took our order but never asked if we wanted anything besides water to drink. Looking at their prices, it's best to stay with water (free). Drinks are pricey at $4 (including iced tea).
Lunch was expensive. We could've saved some $ by not ordering chicken satay appetizer.
My wife and I stopped in for lunch the other day while we were vacationing in the area. We were there when the place opened, which was promptly on time. We were immediately greeted and sat by a pleasant lady (never got her name). We got spring rolls for an appetizer. We got our toddler eggs and rice. My wife got stir-fried mixed veggies with chicken, and I got yellow curry with chicken. All around the food was pretty good. The waitress wasn't super attentive despite only us and one other table being there, but I'm not taking away for that. I'm deducting a star for price > value. The cost of what is here doesn't reflect the quality you receive. It's a good place to eat, I understand the price is probably a reflection of the area the restaurant is in, but if you're charging 25+ a plate, it should be a step up from what I can get at a takeout shop. If you want Thai in the area, there aren't many options, so perhaps it's supply and demand.
Anyhow.
Tldr: Pretty decent food, but overpriced.
Excellent find in Jackson Hole! We were seated quickly, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. The food tasted fresh and they were wiling to accommodate our requests (pad see ew without fish sauce). They automatically add a 20% gratuity, but it is deserved. We’d definitely stop here for a meal again.
Majestic Food! 💚
At the beggining I didn’t expect what we experienced. But it is a explosion of flavors. I had a simple Cashew Nut spiciness level 3 and boom! It was so freaking exquisite and also the Pad Kee Ew an awesome flavor tasting. We also order the wonton soup and it was great! The place is somehow small but very clean and neat. The servers are really nice people. It has become one of our favorite restaurants in Jackson and don’t doubt to come and eat, it is also a healthy food option.
The Pad Thai here is PHENOMENAL. Some on the best I’ve had in a long time. I took one bite and knew I would be coming back. They are doing something right. We had Yellow Curry as well and it was also exceptional. Service was also good. This is definitely getting saved on my map so I can come again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highly recommend the green curry with tofu! Also the kong Kha soup (coconut cream soup with shrimp)! Loved those! Khao Soi is absolutely a delight even though the large chicken drum stick and chest meat we wish to substitute those with more noodles :-) would not recommend the beef noodle - it is close t Taiwanese flavor but not authentic. Net, we love all the Thai dishes here as authentic Thai fans
Best Pad Thai that I’ve had. Truly delicious!!! Highly recommend coming for dinner and enjoying their menu. Double check their hours, but worthy of the wait.
Amazing meal!! So incredibly flavorful. The service was fantastic. The restaurant booth was very cozy. Best dinner spot in Jackson 10/10.
Annie’s is the best Thai food in Jackson! Great staff and great food! Highly recommend.
I am from Dallas, traveled to Teton National Park and lodged in Jascon for a couple days. I had Currie chicken with veggies. The veggies are not cooked, just raw veggies mixed with some kind of sauce, not even taste currie stirred a couple times in a pot, then dumped in a plate with rice. I chewed and chewed, nearly tasteless, and the rice is not even cooked well either.
Excellent food, great pleasant service, great location to get in and out even in the busy summer or winter seasons.
Guys the food was good, I don’t think the 20 percent tip should be mandatory. I ordered a take out order, I didn’t sit and I wasn’t served.
Anyone who doesn't like being forced to tip 20% don't come.
Some of the best food in Jackson especially if you love spicy 🔥🔥🔥
Food is great here! Service is awful… took waiter 20 minutes to notice us at a table waiting to give order. Yet they kept going tables behind us. Worst part is they add 20% tip without you knowing so read the receipt before paying. I asked if this is normal… someone came and said yep it’s on the doors and menus and we checked it wasn’t. Will never go back here again
Came from TX, stopped by here decided to order the red curry with beef. Was disappointed with the curry being watered down and had barely any flavor. So speaking from experience do NOT order the red curry.
The other food like pad kae mow was very good tho.
server was nice.
Overcooked, and stinky fish sauce was too much
Food is really good, but already quite expensive and then they auto-grat 20% on to go orders. To require the same tip to stand in line to pay and do my own dishes compared to full service is insane. I would get take out way more often if this weren’t the case, but an additional $15 for dinner for two to receive no service is crazy. You leave bitter.
Tastey food. Was busy and understaffed causing service to be slow and waitress forgot our app.
De wachttijd viel mee. 20 minuten.
De curry was veel kokosmelk en weinig groenten. Jammer
Slice was about right for us at 2, medium ish but could be spicy fit some. Food was bursting with flavor. I had Eggplant rice with chicken. I was amazed at the first bite. Don't let the 20% mandatory gratuity be off putting. They wish together as a team so it works out well.
I ordered the Pad Se We. There was no one stem of broccoli. I quickly asked the waitress if she could add more broccoli to my dish bc there was only one stem. She said yes, but minutes kept going by and it was getting colder, so I wanted to eat it before it got cold. It tasted like heavy garlic and soy sauce.
Then we received the bill! We’re from Chicago and aren’t surprised from high priced food, but Thai food? $21 Pad Thai? Our bill ended up being $90! With a gratuity of $15. And the waitress never corrected or checked in on us! But here’s a 20% tip that you “deserve.” I felt so taken advantage of, especially as a tourist.
The pad Thai and pad see ew cause is WAY too tangy. The bobba was excellent and the green tea, Thai tea and Thai coffee were probably the best I have had. I paid for extra vegetables and don’t feel as if there were “extra” at all. Again the sauce was so tangy it was hard to get down. Noodles were excellent.
Overpriced food came out slow. One person working the floor which was mostly full. Mediocre food. But then they added a 20% “service charge” on an already grossly overpriced meal and then wanted a tip on top of that !
I ordered salad roll . They gave me egg rolls .
Very attentive service, we did not have to wait long for our food and it was delicious!
Great food, great portions, great staff. Prices aren't excessive, especially considering the location.
I got the beef panang curry and there must have been at least half a pound of good, tender beef in there. My brother got pad thai and it tasted amazing. Even the wonton soup my mom got was outstanding.
Awesome experience overall, wish we'd tried it sooner. Will be back if I ever return to Jackson.
Wonderful place and great food.
Do not go here! And refuse their absurd 20% tipping culture, and I absolutely do not understand why they need to charge 20% on takeout.
We ordered vegetarian dish and specified that we do not want anything non-veg or fish, but it came with fish sauce.
Second dish we ordered with tofu had chicken piece.
When confronted with manager, she was rude
Eventually she did not charge for it.
Overall experience was bad
My party of 4 ordered food. 2 of us (me and my fiance) are vegetarian and our friends are non vegetarian. We ordered fries rice and some green curry noodles. Both veg dishes had fish oil and chicken in it. Aside from that they didn't charge our whole table for food but that's expected of restaurants so I wont say they did something good. Also if we had no issues they would have charged 20% tip which is crazy as a customer should decide the tip not the restaurant.
The food was bad. We also got spoiled chicken
Ordered one of their beef curries. Beef came so red and clearly undercooked. Manager insisted it’s not the case. I asked to please return the plate that I barely touched and ordered a replacement. They still charged for the original beef plate and refused to take it off the bill. First time I ever experience such poor customer service. Won’t be back
we got fried wontons, tasted good, but they only put like a teaspoon of filling in it, so it’s just mostly fried dough.
Overall, service was great, they have a nice spot. Although the food was good, I don’t think the price was worth the quality of food. We’ve paid $90 plus at different restaurants for more food and quality of food, but it’s Jackson so. What can you do.
I don't recommend this restaurant. The portion is small. The service staff was rude and had a bad attitude. She said she didn't understand what I said when I asked the spicy level of the food. The price is quite expensive compared to another location restaurants. This is a place that deceives tourists.
Everything was great except the eggs in my pad thai were very overcooked. Not a big deal cause the rest if the meal was delicious.
We got to go curry. They also charge a 20% tip for take out (MANDATORY). It's not worth the price and tip.
Take out; food was delicious. Gave themselves 20% service fee, which I’d normally be fine with but didn’t give any utensils or napkins for a take out order.
Good food, excellent service.
Annie’s was recommended to us by the hotel receptionist. We were not disappointed.
We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table but honestly it is worth the wait.
The staff were lovely and friendly.
The food was so fresh and tasty, and full of veggies which we were craving.
Be aware of this restaurant!
First of all, I have to say taste is fine for us. But the problem of this restaurant are over-charged and greedy.
We came from NY for visit National Parks here. I would say none of restaurants in New York City gonna charge 20% “ gratuity fee” and DO NOT give u any chance to say NO or adjust the tips we want to give. OK, that’s might be fine, bc we are tourist and we could accept this…But, after that when we check out receipt, they ask us to pay “tips” again!
Our food total bill without “gratuity fee” was around $60, and after adding it was around $80, and they still give the option for asking tips up to 25% which means our total bills gonna up to $100! Is this make any sense???
We realized and didn’t give any tip at this point.
Therefore, if you are tourists from other country or other state, be aware of this place, they gonna charge to tips twice, what a greedy place!
Please be honest to your customers, if you keeping doing this for asking tips twice or for no reason, please give your customers the service that deserve this much service charges.
Highly recommend the green curry with tofu! Also the kong Kha soup (coconut cream soup with shrimp)! Loved those! Khao Soi is absolutely a delight even though the large chicken drum stick and chest meat we wish to substitute those with more noodles :-) would not recommend the beef noodle - it is close t Taiwanese flavor but not authentic. Net, we love all the Thai dishes here as authentic Thai fans
Saw Annie’s on the way through town to go to Yellowstone and decided to get take out when we got back. Ordered online and food was piping hot and ready right when we showed up. I love me some chicken Tom Yum and Annie’s did not disappoint. Some of the best I’ve had. My son’s orange chicken was incredible as well. Loved the jasmine rice too. I highly recommend this place as a guy who could eat Asian every day. Annie’s is legit!!!
The kahi Soi was completely tasteless. Even though I am a single person they charged automatically gratuity for 20% and then had the audacity to ask for more. Beware and look at your reciept carefully. For a bow of tasteless noodles and a can of coke is $50.00 Stay away
Food was awful, charged us twice for a single drink. Force you to tip 20%. Tourist trap do not recommend coming here!
good food!highly recommend
Excellent find in Jackson Hole! We were seated quickly, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. The food tasted fresh and they were wiling to accommodate our requests (pad see ew without fish sauce). They automatically add a 20% gratuity, but it is deserved. We’d definitely stop here for a meal again.
Outstanding Thai experience
Had garlic pepper dish which was good. A little pricey for lunch. Beware 20% tip automatically added.
Tasty food quickly prepared, served by friendly staff.
Left 30 mins ago. 4 of us ate a variety of dishes and spice ratings. We were all so glad we visited. As a Brit I am used to good curries - this place certainly didn’t disappoint. Heading south in the am so won’t be able to visit again this trip. BUT if we do return, this place will feature! 😎
Tell me why I just picked up a to go order and they charge me five dollars as a tip according to what they’re signage says that there will be a 20% gratuity added to your total bill. Why are you going to charge me a gratuity fee when I am not sitting down and getting service. I was not told I was being charged gratuity fee when I placed my order. The owner needs to pay up their employees and stop charging people to place orders to go. This is absurd.
We ordered takeout, so I can't really speak to service or atmosphere, but the food was not very good. I ordered the sauteed spicy eggplant dish. The eggplant is supposed to be the star. It was barely edible- hard and rubbery. The only other vegetables were the fancy cut carrot slices. The fried tofu was ok, though. My boyfriend ordered the red curry and said it was sour and had a weird aftertaste. Maybe other items better.
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had! Loved the dumplings, spring rolls, and Thai rice curry.
Ordered the yum soon sen for take out and got to my car and opened it and it had no shrimp. Went back in and explained it to them. No questions asked they made me a brand new order and told me to keep the one that was made incorrectly. By far best customer service!!
Food was amazing. But sadly, this was the worst service we have ever got. They force a 20% gratuity and because of that our server did not have to worry about giving a good service. The server was rude, she didn't greed us or check on us.
Majestic Food! 💚
At the beggining I didn’t expect what we experienced. But it is a explosion of flavors. I had a simple Cashew Nut spiciness level 3 and boom! After a long day enjoying the Tetons we decided to get our food to go so we could unwind at the condo. We enjoyed the Pad Thai but we're very disappointed in the service charge of 20% that was added to our bill. There's zero justification for this charge so future customers be ware.
Friendly service, and very good food. Small place but very clean and simple. Very reasonable prices, especially for Jackson.
The employes are great but...... Despite being a good restaurant and having good food, the price is excessive considering that they want to force you to pay 20% commission as a tip, it is silly to think that the tip should be forced, not everyone in this community is rich and force us to pay the 20% tip even for takeout is huge nonsense. Good service from their employees but bad for not knowing that the tip should not necessarily be required.
service charge 20% forced added on the bill
Forces a 20% service fee even for just 2 people.
I ordered a Pad See Ew, which was delicious. The only hiccup is that I ordered it “very mild” in spiciness, but the dish was VERY spicy for my taste. I’m not usually used to spicy food but I thought what I ordered disagreed with what I got. I also overheard people from the surrounding table commenting that their dish was also TOO spicy, so maybe it’s not just me. This is not an issue at all though, just be ware that the spice level is high.
Some people from my party asked for extra veggies on their dish but there appeared to be just what would be expected from the plate. The staff said that this was normal
The service was ok and attentive, but the reception and overall morale could have been improved.
I ordered take out: shrimp pad Thai and egg rolls. The egg rolls was ok but the pad Thai was AMAZING! The best stir fry noodles I have ever had. Definitely going to try and go back and eat inside the restaurant.
Tom yum fried rice!! Primo!
Khao Soi was INSANE good!!! Level 1 spice was plenty of flavor and spice, and I have a decent tolerance (GF needed mild) and it was super flavorful. Both of us said "wow that's super good" multiple times.
Everything else was on point but the Khao Soi was next level.
Delicious Thai spot blocks from downtown! We enjoyed all 7 dishes we got, from noodle dishes to curries to fried rice. Fast service, friendly staff. Big portions. Would recommend
The second we saw Khao Soi Gai on the menu I knew this place was going to be good, but we were blown away… this food is comparable to the dishes we had in Thailand. LOVED IT. Perfect amount of flavor and spice. The Pad See Ew is incredible, best I’ve had in a long while and I didn’t expect to find it in Jackson!! We will be back for sure!!
Food was good , most expensive pad see ew I’ve ever bought but it was decent . They were out of won ton soup and salad rolls (spring rolls) the Thai coffee was amazing ! The 20 percent gratuity is forced then they still want you to tip on top of that 20 percent already added.
The Pad Thai here is PHENOMENAL. Some on the best I’ve had in a long time. I took one bite and knew I would be coming back. They are doing something right. We had Yellow Curry as well and it was also exceptional. Service was also good. This is definitely getting saved on my map so I can come again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best Pad Thai I think I’ve ever had, really surprised by this place, we got pad Thai and yellow curry at 2 star spice level and highly recommend it!
I’d return to Jackson specifically for this place.
Rood personal, service charge 20%, for nothing…There are many other wonderful places with hospitable staff.
Crap, 10 min wait no menu or water. Rude waiter. Charge 20% for the service.
Best food we had in Jackson
Place is bleh.
Flavor is either too salty or basic spicy chinese food.
Too expensive for the portions and flavors.
Delicious food and fantastic service. There was a technical issue with my order and manager (owner?) Frank fixed it up right away. Great food, great people, and I can't wait to order again!
Best yellow curry I've ever had. Place was slammed but they accommodated us with what seemed to be a short staff. Very friendly and very proud of their "Best of Jackson Hole" award designation.
I used to really liked eating here and did so at least 2 times a week. Once they started adding the automatic 20% gratuity to every order, including take out I have unfortunately stopped going back. The last time I took myself and my daughters out for dinner, it cost me over $130 to include the $25 gratuity. That’s for only 2 noodle dishes, 1 yellow chicken curry and 1 beer. I’m a good tipper, as I used to wait tables for many years but the automatic gratuity of 20%, is RIDICULOUS.
See you again.
Great food, great staff, great service!
Red curry chicken and veggies were outstanding however, warning…. Level 1 is like a 3-4 anywhere else. Extremely hot and your GI system will remind you for 24-36 hours what you did. That being said, very good.
Service was MIA and never checked back on us once and waived down someone an hour later to pay the bill which… automatically adds a 20% too which is not cool with such - low level of service.
Love this place! Really great yellow curry!
Annie’s was exceptionally good! My wife and I are from Houston Texas but my wife used to be an international flight attendant and has traveled to Thailand many times in the past so believe me when I tell you this place is legit! They have authentic Thai food. We both agreed it was actually more authentic than about 75% of the Thai restaurants in Houston which is impressive seeing as how Houston is very diverse and has a ton of great places to eat. This place is special so don’t sleep on it Jackson!!! A+++
Every dish our table of 9 ordered was delicious!
This place USED to be amazing. They’ve since gotten rid of their lunch-menu, which was affordable for locals trying to eat out every once in a while. On top of forcing dinner prices upon everyone, they have also added a 20% service charge to every order whether it’s dine-in or take-out and then also expect gratuity, which is just ridiculously absurd. And as of late, when I do eat there, the food is extremely inconsistent; namely the spice levels.
I consistently get a level 2 no matter what I order and some days it is perfect and other times I feel like I am making out with Satans nutsack.
So, inconsistent food, expensive prices plus forced gratuity = 1 star. I hate that this is the case because a year ago this place deserved 5+ stars all day, but that is no longer the case.
If you’re a tourist looking for an amazing dinner, do your self a favor and go to The Gun Barrel. It’s not Thai food… but who comes out West for Thai food anyways? Go eat Elk. Be a man.
Sorry Annie’s. Do better.
We had to wait for them to open, but it was worth every minute of the wait.
FOOD WAS GREAT. We were looking forward to something Thai since we got back from Thailand the month before, and I requested as hot as the waitress could get it, and it was spicy, just like I like it. The wife requested not spicy, and it wasn't.
I recommend this place to anyone. Just remember that not all the service industry workers are back to work yet.
The Jasmine tea was soft on (I like it dark, the wife does not).
Is only a block or two from the 49er Inn, a perfect distance for us. If we ever make it back this way, we will be sure to come by again.
Got take out with a phone order. The staff was great. The service was great.
The food was fantastic!!!
Hot scale is very hot. Dial it down from usual or be happy with sinus flush.
I’ve had worse Thai food but man it would be nice to get proper Thai in Jackson. Teton Thai is a step above but not a big one. I don’t know if the owners think that white folks can’t handle real Thai food or what (maybe they can’t) but in this day and age it shouldn’t be that hard to upgrade the authenticity factor.
Service and ambiance fine. Overpriced but this is Jackson.
Very authentic. They’re not kidding about spicy level!!
Another one of my favorite restaurants in Jackson that I will not be going back to as they are now automatically adding a 20% tip to every order, dine-in and take-out. Why do the restaurants here in Jackson keep doing this? Tips are a way of rewarding GOOD service. My service last night was mediocre and did not deserve a 20% tip.
Plus I saw no sign at the table stating the new policy nor was it printed on the menu. Very disappointing to leave a delicious dinner feeling scammed.
The curry was kind of bland and the carrots were a little undercooked - normally I'd let that kind of stuff go, but for the price I feel like it should be a little better
My favorite Thai place in town. The curry fried rice is my go to. Nice and spicy.
This was my go to lunch spot. But now they’ve taken away the lunch menu. Similar to other restaurants in town who are just catering to tourist instead of the locals who actually LIVE here. Extremely sad. And downright ridiculous.
It was a perfect dinning experience for us. Food was extraordinary!!! Even simple items like Padthai was delicious. Their speciality shrimp item (Annie’s Special Shrimp) was simply amazing. The waiter and waitresses were very polite and cordial. The prices are very reasonable (saying this based on experience of researching and dinning at over 6 restaurants in Jackson). Overall, an A+ level experience - would strongly suggest anyone trying it out.
Good food good service and great wine choice
Delicious food excellent service, prices affordable..
Great food and excellent service. I totally recommend for a good meal.
No service, extremely long waiting time, mandatory 20% tip. Worst experience.
This place is a ripoff. They charge a 20% automatic service fee for dine-in AND take-out. All automatic service fees are rip-offs, but one for take-out is especially egregious. What service am I paying for exactly? If you want to pay your staff more, raise your prices and pay them a higher wage. Don't obfuscate your pricing for your customers. As someone who doesn't live in Jackson Hole, I had no idea about this automatic 20% service fee until I showed up to pick up my order and saw the sign for it. I asked if the service fee was mandatory as I wanted it taken off, and the guy ringing me up said that it was.
Tom Kha Gai and Pad See Ew were good. Green curry was below average.
Some of the best Thia food I've had since I was in Bangkok. Very friendly staff and fresh atmosphere.
Good Thai place in the historic downtown area of Jackson. No cocktails only beer and wine. Great good.
Avid world traveller-
I would give Annie’s Thai a 4/5. I would say it’s not the best Thai food you’ll find, but definitely beats most of the American food choices in the area.
Serving size vs price is well worth it. Curries are spicy. If you aren’t used to spicy 🌶️ , don’t get it. It’s pretty good if you do like spice.
Pad Thai was good. Protein for both was decent as well.
Got the Pineapple fried rice and the mixed veggies with the Thai sauce- excellent. We had leftovers. Small area but seated quickly and food came out quickly. Was pretty good in my opinion. Spice level we got was 1: jalepeno which was perfect. 20% service charge added on automatically to the bill. The black tea came in a quart size canning jar and was huge.
No complains on my end except maybe the automatic charge they add for service. We ended up paying in cash- prices are usual for Jackson area- 2 of us with 2 entrees and 1 drink $50+
First thing first, there is a mandatory 20% tip for dine in and take out.
Regarding the food, I personally think it is not worth the price even if I only look at portions. Taste is alright, but spice level is questionable. There are total of 4 spice level. I have both salad and noodle on level 2, salad I feel a bit of spice which I am okay with, but noodle is so spicy that I cannot finish. They do have a warning sign on the table warning you can always add spice, but you cannot take them out and they do not refund or do exchange if the dish is too hot🔥. I agree with the statement, but at least get the spice level consistent.
This place is expensive even for Jackson standards. $19 for a dish I pay $13-14 for anywhere else. And there always seems to be a 45min-1 hour wait for food to go even if you go right when they open. The place has like 6 tables so I’m not sure why the wait is always so long. As many other reviews mention, they also charge a 20% gratuity on all to go orders(dine in too). I’ve never seen this anywhere else. That’s an extra $10+ added to my bill. Rather than pay their employees more they make the customers pay for it ? Will not come here again.
We found this gem after many days of below average eating. Their food is very good and it really gave us satisfaction after dining. They also make many items vegetarian and vegan (without fish sauce).
I understand the location in the town makes it more expensive on the menu, but it shouldn’t lower the standard of the service, and of course it shouldn’t lower the quality of the food. However, the service we received was poor. The waitstaff had an attitude. The food brought to us was cold and long waited. If we hadn’t been on a schedule, we would have compared more choices.
Worst place ever, my friend said the service over charge tips on his to go order. Be careful and double check if they over charge tip on your order.
Came here twice during our stay in JH. Thai tea was so good for the first time. The second time is way too sweet. Mango sticky rice is a must.
Absolutely delicious! The food can be really spicy. All the noodles are extremely good. Fried rice is so so. Penang curry is amazing. Don’t forget to try the mango sticky rice, very authentic and sweet! We stayed in town for two days and ate twice here!
This place is pretty costly compared to the taste of the food. Very cramped and not enough space in the waiting area as well. The bar is right next to seating area so bit uncomfortable with kids.
They added 20% service charge which was outrageous. They add that for pickups as well. We ordered the following:
1. Fried chicken dumplings: tastes good but less in quantity. Only 6 pieces.
2. Pad Thai Chicken: Average taste and noodles were not boiled fully.
3. Thai red curry chicken: I feel this is a signature thai dish. They left no stones unturned to screw it.
4. Chicken wanton soup- It was good. Aromatic and flavourful.
Took out from Annie’s and was more than just pleasantly surprised. The food was first rate from Curry to Pad Thais to Dumplings
Fully understand American tipping culture. Generally, the tip will be 18%-20% when going out to eat. But this time it is only for takeout, we even took the tableware ourselves, why should we be forced to charge 20% tip!And we were very confused as to why the person behind me ordered takeout without charging a service charge, when we asked them, their waiter replied that it was his friend and mentioned that it was Jackson and all restaurants charge a 20% service charge, whether you eat by yourself or take it out. Is this discrimination? Thank you for a bad day at this restaurant! If there are other options, avoid this restaurant!
Left before ordering because they did away with their lunch specials.
This restaurant just ruined my day. Bad service and mandatory charged 20% service fee for Take out order(which I have never experienced before). the waiter didn't give reasonable explanation and give us attitude when we asking about the service fee. Please avoid this restaurant if you have another choice. 别去!中国人不骗中国人!
This is the most outrageous takeout service tip I have ever heard of, unheard of before. And the reason is also very absurd. It's illogical. If there is no service or good looks for delivery, but a mandatory 20% tip is charged. If there are other options, it is recommended to choose another restaurant.
Full of expectations to come here to play want to eat Thai food, wanted to eat to feel the service, the result found that too busy need to wait too long to choose takeout, and finally did not enjoy the service, choose takeout also mandatory 20% tip, the clerk said that the local restaurant is the same. As a result, he did not accept the takeout tips from other guests in front of me, which was extremely hateful and strongly recommended not to consume here. Will affect the mood of play
I recently ordered takeout from Annie's Thai Kitchen and was quite disappointed to find a 20% service fee added to my bill. While I understand the importance of supporting local businesses, charging such a high service fee for takeout seems excessive and unnecessary. Takeout orders typically involve minimal service compared to dine-in experiences, which makes this fee feel unjustified. I appreciate the delicious food your restaurant offers, but this service fee left a sour taste in my mouth. At last, I asked servicer Adiko why does the person behind me ordered take out but he didn’t get charge for the service fee. He answered me rudely said that’s his friend and mention that this is Jackson, all the restaurants charge 20% service fee, no matter you are dinning or take out. (I guess that the servicer has privilege to charge the service fee on the person he want. Is that the discrimination?), For take out!!! You aren’t get the proper service but mandatory charge 20% service fee! That’s how you treat the tourist for those who visiting the Jackson?? Thank you Annie’s Thai Kitchen made me the worse day!
Ordered take out, food was ok. But I got charged 20%tip( waiter said it’s the polo), for TAKE OUT ORDER…
(which waiter said it’s the store policy, but we ask other customers. They didn’t get charge tips for take out. ) Unbelievable….
ALSO the waiter’s attitude wasn’t nice
I believe that tipping should be based on the quality of service received, and imposing such a high mandatory tip for a takeout order is unfair and off-putting. I won’t be returning to this establishment due to this policy and the subpar experience.
Their food is good, but the service is terrible. We ordered takeout, but they charged us a 20% service fee. We asked the tourists who were also takeout,and they didn’t pay the 20% service fee. Maybe because we are Asian, they are a little bit racist. We are very disappointed.
Drunken noodles were spicier than most other but still very delicious
很道地夠味
The best Thai food I've had. I got the Pad Se Ew. #27. Fresh cabbage, broccoli . Delicious!
We had a terrible experience at the restaurant. We waited for 10 minutes without anyone approaching us. It would have been appreciated if someone had informed us about the wait time. And they will charge 18% tips without any service.
We were the last guests of the evening and were served correctly. Food was amazing and tastful. Positive experience and recommend the place. You can also order and take-out.
Taste is below average and spicy food They charge 20% service fee for to go order.
HUGE portions, waitress was friendly and kind, however when asking about portion sizes showed a small size and gave absolutely no hint as to the actual size. 1 curry is more than enough food for 3 people, you may just need some extra rice. A “small” soup is not 1 cup but rather a big bowl that can be split between a family, and that also comes with rice. Level 2 spice is perfect, the red curry didn’t have enough salt but the garlic and pepper chicken was good. Unlike others said, they didn’t slap a 20% gratuity on the bill or any gratuity in fact.
Food was spot on...
Food was excellent but the service was terrible. It took 20 minutes for our order to be taken, 30 minutes to get our food. Water wasn't refilled until we asked a different server, and we were never checked on. Meanwhile, our original server was having a beer with his friends at the next table over, and as we left we saw him out back for a smoke break. Stick with takeout.
Food is okay. But others were extremely disappointing! I feel compelled to share my encounter with others so they can avoid the same unpleasantness.
Firstly, the wait time for food was exasperating. It took one hour for the waiters to finally serve our meals. It severely impacted our dining experience.
To add insult to injury, the restaurant automatically applied a 20% service fee. It's bewildering because the service we received was far from deserving 20% additional charge.
The real shock came when I noticed the discrepancy in the final bill. The restaurant overcharged my credit card by $10 more than the total price I initially agreed to pay on the receipt. Thankfully, I kept the receipt as evidence of this outrageous discrepancy.
In summary, the excruciatingly long wait, the unjustified service fee, and the overcharging left me dissatisfied with my experience. I believe it's essential for others to know about these issues and make an informed decision before dining at this establishment.
Remember to keep your receipts and protect your rights as a customer.
Excellent Thai food. Presentation was also beautiful.
FORCED 20% service fee for party of 3 for mediocre service (not mentioned until given the check).
Food is just alright but probably overrated. Would not recommend.
The food wasn't very good. My wife even felt sick for the rest of the day.
Loved the Cashew Nut
one of the best thai restaurants
Great food
I had the Pad Prik Khing. The fish was cooked perfectly and the dish was tasty. I had it spiced as a one. Which would have been a three in many places where I am from. The egg rolls were good and the peanut sauce for them was exceptional.
The food tasted pretty good but the 28 dollar noodles dish was about a handful of food. They really cut down on portions so it's not really worth it anymore. Id go back if they fixed that. Servers are always awesome.
Fantastic curry! Loved this place while we visited Jackson. Big portions and the prices were reasonable. Our waiter was great and the apps were good too. Overall was a wonderful experience. 100% recommend.
Waited over an hour to get served. Decent food but terrible service...really long wait. They also auto charged 20% gratuity regardless.
The Tom Yum Shrimp soup is fantastic here.
The rest of the meal was great also. Service excellent. Great restaurant and great flavor in everything.
Best Thai food in Jackson hands down! Quality service and a great location. Really appreciate that this place exists!
Do not come! We ordered 4 entrees and 1 appetizer. The waitress only provided appetizer after 20 mins. We waited another 30 mins, waitress came with a bill and ask if we want pack the food. Seriously? 4 people sitting there for just one appetizer? They literally forgot about us.
and Not sure why sprout is raw for Pad Thai
Six people was a tight fit in a booth. Our waiter was very patient as we placed and changed our orders. Other staff were responsive when we asked for extra plates or bowls. My dad said he could see into the kitchen and that the workers were smiling. Portions are large and the mild spice level (#1) is spicy enough.
Very nice dishes
