Ordered the appetizer sampler, they were HOT and CRISPY and the dumplings were the meatiest we've ever had. Thai basil fried rice on a 4/5 spice level as I asked for was super spicy and drunken noodles on a 3/5 were also spicy but chewy (was not expecting them to be al dente, which was not our preference). Ordered Pad Thai for takeout and it was excellent.

WOULD BE NICE TO GET MORE MEAT(CHICKEN) IN THE ORDERS OVERALL.

Amazing Thai food! Dar was super friendly and provided great guidance. Biggest Thai food portions I’ve ever had! They marinate their bbq pork in house, and it is the best I’ve ever had. Sweet, juicy, and tender. The Phad see ew had the perfect flavor profile I was looking for. The fresh rolls were fresh and full of flavor. The peanut sauce was out of this world. I wish I lived closer!

Why is this place never open? I've tried stopped in 4 times. Today, Monday, at 6:30 pm it's completely shut down. How are customers supposed to plan on eating somewhere that doesn't observe its own posted hours? Especially when a you're driving 40 minutes to get there.

Excellent thai food for such a touristy town! Service was super friendly too, despite a slightly long wait. The basil fried rice with beef was excellent and the massaman curry wasn't the most authentic we've had but it was still tasty and comforting. Definitely recommend visiting Wy Thai if you're in Cody!

Went there hoping for good food. OMG it was the best Thai ever. We travel 9 months a year and eat alot of places. Very best tasting food. Owner is so nice and are they ever polite.

Passing through Cody on a weeks-long roadtrip we were desperate for food that wasn't a burger or a potato burrito and we were so happy to find Wy Thai! We called ahead and spoke to a friendly guy on the phone, they were out of a number of menu items and the wait was pretty long but we placed an order for later. When we picked it up we were greeted by more friendly faces (and a beautiful horse in the lot next door) and everything we received tasted fresh and flavorful – more consistent than a lot of the typical college town Thai food we've had elsewhere. Would recommend to anyone passing through.

My first time to WY Thai; it has been on my bucket list for almost a year. It did not disappoint.
The mere fact that we have a delicious Thai restaurant right here in the Basin is a gift.

Food: We had the yellow curry and the masaman curry plates. I am not a curry professional by any means, but we enjoyed every bite. I was unable to finish everything, the portions were larger but not over the top. I didn't take photos of the food (it always feels weird) - our plates were individual, not family style. The curry was in a large bowl, and the rice was on the side in a dish.

Prices: The prices are on point. The food quality is a match. And, it's a small business. We paid $52 for two dinners, hot tea, and Boba tea, which is appropriate for dinner, IMO.

Atmosphere: On the outside, it looks like there is no seating. They have seating for about 18, I would say. Be sure to call ahead, and then order take out if they have a long wait.

Note: If you are allergic to peanuts, I suggest asking the staff if there are options that do not interact with peanuts.

We came in on a recommendation and we were blown away by the amazing food, friendly service. This place was full when we arrived and to-go orders were flying out as quick as they could prepare the food. We ordered the fried dumplings, salad rolls, Pad Thai, Pad Si Ew, Pineapple fried rice. Everything was excellent. Would come back anytime we visit Cody. 10/10.

Picked Wy Thai based on reviews. Service and food were great. We were thrilled to see they had outside tables - we could bring our dog as we are traveling. The owner brought a water bowl for our dog too!

Phenomenal pad ka prao, great service, large servings

We recently took our relatives from out of town here. Our table enjoyed a variety of different dishes that included the wonderful House made dumplings, Drunken noodles, Green Curry, Lo mein and Pad ka prao. Needless to say we were happily satisfied with everything at our table.🍜😋

First time trying Thai and it was good! We definitely were not expecting the strong taste the red curry we had would have but still ate it and we were glad with the food. Also this being a new restraunt, there are things they can improve about their atmosphere. For example there some flies around the restraunt but that is all for atmosphere. Overall, this being a new restraunt in the area, it was good!

Not great, not terrible. Good portion size. Avoid the shrimp. Pricey.

We didn't know if we would be able to find good Thai food this far off the beaten path. We were very pleasantly surprised! We tried the green curry and the Massaman curry and both were excellent. The woman who helped us was very friendly. We will be back. (The only seating is outdoors, so plan on taking your order elsewhere to eat if you don't like the weather.)

We were staying in Cody for a vacation and tried this Thai place because of the high rating/great reviews and I am in complete agreement. The food was delicious and their heat scale is on point. I got 4/5 and was definitely sweating/had a runny nose. Excellent food and generous portions. Definitely will have again when we're in Cody.

Wy Thai is probably my top rated restaurant in the Cody area. My wife would definitely back this choice. I always get the drunken noodle beef with a spice or heat grade of 1. My wife normally gets the drunken noodle chicken spice or heat of 3 to 4. The couple that owns and runs this business are a true delight to talk to ad well.i have tried other dishes from this establishment. Having been in the navy and having traveled to Asian countries this food is quite like the food in those countries. Not dumbed down for Americans but very traditional. Along with the food try yourself a glass of the Thai tea. Thank you to the owners of this establishment.

Wow, this place was amazing, the lady was very nice and knowledgeable about food allergens also. My wife and I stopped in Cody for the day. We ended up having lunch here. I had the Masaman curry and she had the egg rolls. This is the first time I have ever gotten full off of eating Masaman curry anywhere. A lot of places don't put a lot of meat and potatoes in their masaman, but not Wy Thai. It was chalked full of ingredients and not just all base. Hands down the best Masaman curry I have ever had anywhere. The pricing was also extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend eating here. A little hidden gem.

I have had Thai food in many places around the world even in Thailand, and WY Thai by far is the best. I highly recommend the Pad Se We it is outstanding and the best i have ever had. I would drive 100 miles out of my way just for that. Nice city park to the east 2 blocks to have your takeout....

This is a place where you pull in and there is a trailer. There are a few picnic tables so you can eat here but it's not really a dine-in place. You basically order get your food and leave or you can use a picnic table. The portions are huge and the food is good.

Excellent Thai food made by an authenticly Thai lady! This is the real deal, just as good as anything you can get in Thailand.. Service is ultra friendly and if you need anything, just ask. Spring rolls are homemade, and are delicious. Picnic tables are shady and everything is very clean. Highly recommend eating here or getting some to go for back at your hotel.

Phenomenal little place! It's one of two restaurants I recommend when friends are in town. If you want Thai food don't even debate between it and the other. There's really no comparison between quality.

Amazing service and food! I've spend a lot of time in Thailand, both in tourist and rural/local restaurants and this is still some of the best Thai food I've ever had, certainly some of the best Thai food I've had in the states. My coworkers have been raving about this place and some eat here every time they go into town and make sure to get extra to bring home for later, although the portions that I got with my entree took me three sittings to finish. The review saying this isn't even a real restaurant and they have bad service is outrageous. It is in fact a very unassuming little trailer but don't let that fool you, this is easily some of the best food you will find in Cody. My girlfriend and I go to town there often and had almost given up on finding any decent restaurants that weren't overpriced garbage, so we were blown away by this place. Be aware, they know their spice(another amazing feat for Cody WY.) Thank you WY Thai! We will definitely be going back at every opportunity.

WONDERFUL FOOD! These folks are so kind and know what they are doing in the kitchen. As an aspiring food connoisseur that has traveled a bit of three hemispheres, I think these guys are right up there next to a Curry in London. Fair prices, generous portions and wonderful flavors. These reviews must be mostly fake. Huge servings of awful food. I paid $4 for chicken in the fried rice and maybe got 1 ounce of meat. My wife got pad Thai and it was not good. We ate what we could stomach and threw it all away. Too bad I can’t put no stars. Do not eat here.

Super generous portions. My wife and I got the chicken pad thai and beef pho. We both filled up on the pho. Super flavorful and hot even for take out. Way better than instant pho. We touched the pad thai briefly only because we were full, but it was great as well. Saving it for lunch tomorrow. 10/10 would recommend! Shout out to my Minnesota homies!

Not only is the food amazing, you couldn't find nicer owners than Darawan! She is funny, spunky, kind and always has a smile on her beautiful face. Wy Thai is a hidden gem in Cody. I came here with some friends and it was convenient from our hotel so we just walked. When you walk up, it's unassuming because there are picnic tables and the kitchen is a double wide trailer where you order from the window and take your order to go.

I ordered their Tom Kha soup and everyone else ordered Pad Thai. Two of my friends are vegetarians and they said their pad thai were delicious. Another friend also ordered satay chicken, which was amazing!! My soup was absolutely delicious and I was delighted by all the flavors. The other two friends ordered pork pad thai and beef pad thai, which they also raved about.

The portions are huge, especially for the money. Some couldn't finish their food and were going to make it their lunch the next day, but the youngin in our group ate it as if he had a straw (he's 23 so it's expected). Some of us ordered their boba, which were delicious as well. I ordered their taro and it was amazing, especially on a 90 degree day.

Very good Thai food. Located a bit off the main drag of Cody on the road to Powell (Big Horn Avenue.) Friendly, good portions, and they can make it spicy if you ask them too. Beware the 5/5 Thai spicy. We have tried both Drunken noodles and Pad Thai and both are good.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever had and definitely the best in Cody. When people from out of town ask where to go to eat I always suggest here and it is definitely a personal favorite.

Crab rangoons were awesome. The thai dishes are veggie heavy, which I love, but there was plenty of meat in them as well. The best part is they use the wide noodles! I've had so many thai places not have wide noodles and I love them.

I would say this is the best Thai food I've had in Wyoming. Very friendly service and I showed up right before closing. Food was packed full of flavor, prices are reasonable, and presentation was excellent.

I had Beef and Broccoli, and Pad Thai with chicken.
They were both very good! Just know the Pad Thai has chunks of tofu in it, I usually just ask them to not add the tofu, because I don't care for it.I especially love their beef and broccoli! It is some of the best I've ever eaten!

Made the mistake of passing on this place and going to Thai Thai months ago due to Wy Thai being take out only. I gotta say this is really good thai food, the service was extremely friendly and I ordered 5/5 hot and it delivered. Portions were quite generous, only made it through about a third of my drunken noodles and was absolutely stuffed. For a tiny shack in the middle of Cody this place is a gem. Note if you think tabasco is spicy don't order the 5/5 spice it'll light you up haha.

Oh man, delicious freshly prepared food & generous portions! In my opinion the $12.95 for Drunken Noodle is worth it...you can easily eat 2-3 portions from their serving. The 6 large halves of their garden rolls ($8.95) were so fresh & crunchy & the peanut sauce for dipping was so tasty! To note: it's like a food cart of sorts so no indoor dining, just outside at a few picnic tables and you may have to wait 10-20min for your order (depending on how many folks ordered before you), but they prepare the food fresh right then & there! We were just passing through Cody, but if we lived here, I would definitely eat here again, but order one portion and split it. I would encourage everyone to spend the extra few dollars and support your local small business owner and honor their skill of cooking delicious food with your money & further recommendation 😊.
