Casual eatery offering traditional Thai fare & a sushi bar in slick green & black environs.
Awesome food, great service. We ordered a few sushi rolls for the table as an appetizer. The kamakazi, crispy Philadelphia and dragon rolls were all super good. I had ginger chicken and green beans in a curry sauce with jasmine rice. I ate every spicy bite! Everyone else at the table loved their meals too. I highly recommend this place.
Thai-namite is one of my favorite places to eat in MKE. It’s a great Brady street staple, and I continue to go back again and again. The Pad Tai is one of my favorite dishes, but I’ve always liked every dish I have ever gotten here including Curry, Hawaiian fried rice, Sushi and more. Each dish is super flavorful and great quality. The staff is friendly and attentive. My one recommendation for improvement is the general restaurant environment. The tables don’t feel very private and are all pretty close. Despite that, I am giving it 5 stars just for how much I love the food.
One of my favorite places to eat on Brady Street! I’ve been coming here for many years. Their fresh rolls & peanut sauce are some of my favorite in the city & my go-to dishes are the Hawaiian Delight, Drunken Noodle & the Mighty Cashew. The sushi is also good, but the Thai dishes are my reason for coming here. The Thai Tea is also a must have.
Being a regular sushi eater, I wasn’t too amazed by their rolls or nigiri. Overall, I think their sushi rice is too wet and lacks the individual grain texture it should have so the bites were just mushy. Portion size is good. Fish seemed fresh but nothing to write home about unfortunately. We decided to come over instead of Hungry Sumo due to the wait time. We came beginning of November and they had the heat BLASTING. It was almost uncomfortable sitting indoors even after taking off layers. Will give their Thai food a try next time.
Very mid. Lunch special is a decent value, but the entree came out lukewarm with mushy rice.
Considering there were only 2 tables being served, where some places might hover and try to up-sell everything, they kept a gracious demeanor, well timed and smooth in service.
It just isn't my favorite food, maybe the fusion blands the flavor to be more palatable for everyone? The employees are great! My partner loves this place, and I enjoy the drunken noodles, or a Maki roll.
This was my second time being here and I enjoyed the first time but don't remember what I got. This time I went with my gf and sister.
For appetizers we started off crab rangoons and tom kha. The crab rangoons were nice and crispy on the ends. The filling was a nice soft crunch into a delicious crab filling. We all really enjoyed them and had to split the last piece haha. The tom kha was very coconut milk heavy and not spicy at all, pure white color. It had a nice sour and sweet coconut milk flavor and came with mushrooms. I thought it was really good and different from most tom kha I've had in the past and so did my gf, my sister did not like it.
For entrees we got the beef teriyaki, Volcano chicken, and Beef fried rice. I got the beef teriyaki and it came with jasmine rice, bean snaps, carrots, broccoli, and onions. The beef was very tender and came with a decent amount of protein. The teriyaki sauce was coated well onto the meat and tasted very balanced. It wasn't too salty or sweet like some teriyaki sauces. The vegetables tasted incredibly fresh and had been lightly seasoned and had the teriyaki sauce on them. I really enjoyed my meal and would get it again. My sister got the beef fried rice and she really enjoyed it and almost ate it all even though it came in a huge bowl. I tried some of it and found it to be rich in flavor and had all of egg in it which I love and would get myself. My gf got my personal favorite of the night, the volcano chicken. It was fried chicken and sauce with a bed of veggies and jasmine rice. The chicken was again huge in portion, crispy, and pre cut into slices. The sauce on it was a huge draw for me because it was something I haven't tasted before. It tasted almost like a sweet and sour sauce with a strong chili pepper flavor but not spicy. It just had that flesh part of the chili flavor with the sweet and sour which I found to be delightful. Definitely what I'll be getting next time and we all three will be back again.
Being a regular sushi eater, I wasn’t too amazed by their rolls or nigiri. Overall, I think their sushi rice is too wet and lacks the individual grain texture it should have so the bites were just mushy. Portion size is good. Great classic Thai fare
Pad see ew with pork was fantastic. Green curry was a bit too runny and the chicken was tough
Very nice food
Nice place, but the staff makes you feel unwanted and awkward, and the food was nice but too oily and kind of plain.
Pad Thai was tiny rice noodles with sweet and sour sauce. Fresh rolls and spring rolls were ok with flavorless sauce. Seems more like fusion not traditional Thai food. Cute place, good location with nice friendly staff.
Great food and friendly staff!
Tastes good, but portions are off. Would love to see a little more protein and veggies for the price.
Really good Thai food
I've been here 5 times with friends and family, and it's been delicious Every. Single. Time. The massaman curry and drunken noodles (with udon) are fantastic. The red currry, green curry, and pad thai are awesome too! The food comes out so fast and every plate is hot and fresh. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee.
One of the best places for sushi and Thai in Milwaukee
Amazingly delicious food !! We ordered close to 7 or 8 different items - all were wonderfully fresh and served at the right temperature.
Four for service as at times felt the hostess wanted to rush us through.
Food was priced right.
The culinary offerings are delightful, though they occasionally vary in their execution. However, the customer service is unfailingly exceptional. I wholeheartedly suggest giving their dishes a taste if you’ve yet to experience them.
Great food! Big portions
🔥 The Red Curry is amazing 🔥
The food here is amazing, one of my favorite restaurants to go to whenever I visit the city. I get the Red Curry or Green Curry and it is always to die for. Especially on a chilly day.
Another first for me, I don't know what I was waiting for....it was yummy.
This was lunch with a friend on her recommendation. The food was delicious, the server was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was basic but clean.
We had little veggie dumplings to start and they were a good omen about what was to come. One dish was a sort of sticky glazed chicken with cashews that I practically finished by licking the plate. The other was a forgettable black garlic chicken dish was bland and unexciting. Not bad, just not interesting.
Food was good. 😊
Some of the best Pad Thai you will get in Milwaukee.
Service was great, very friendly & attentive staff. We ordered 2 sushi rolls and they were plated beautifully but lacked a tad in flavor. I did however order a drink off the menu- the bangkok mule, and it was hands down one of the BEST drinks I've had in awhile! Would definitely go back and try again maybe just a different roll next time.
I've been to the Tosa location recently. It is clean, friendly, and beautiful. This place feels dirty and the waitstaff is unpleasant. The food is still pretty good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Service and atmosphere matter.
Great food and service!
Thr volcano chicken was Drowning
in sweet sauce that tasted like candy on the menu. It said nothing about the sauce being sweet. They really need to change that. I got a sugar rush I don't want that at dinner .. the drinks are great the beef was okay but I perfer other Thai restaurants needs some work
Loved the variety of both Japanese and Thai cuisine. Two of my favorite foods in one restaurant. Friendly service. Great Thai iced tea! The food was awesome. Reasonably priced.
This was my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee when I lived there. If it weren't so far, I would go back there now. The food was perfect.
I ordered the Drunken Noodle today with 2 Spring rolls. The Spring rolls were great. However, the Drunken Noodles and the vegetables were overcooked. The chicken was dry. This meal was a waste of my money and time.
Excellent food delivered fast. The decor is great and the staff is great!
Flavorless drunken noodles definitely the worst drunken noodles I ever had if you want good drunken noodles go to Sticky Rice which is down the street or lucky Ginger literally no flavor at all
It's OK nothing fancy just basic Thai food
Food was good like the rice at the one in public Markey better
Always exceptional, reasonably priced Thai food and sushi served in a warm and friendly setting. One of our top favorites and a go to!
Su comida siempre es muy buena y el personal es amable.
I love Thai food, and whenever I'm craving it this place always hits the spot.
Great value for good food and nice ambience. Excellent service. Solid selection of veg-friendly options. Exactly what we were hoping for! Will definitely come here again.
EE-Sane and Thai Kitchen quality and taste puts them to shame.
Food came out very quick. 3 musketeers plate was huge. Good location, quiet venue. My friend wasn’t a fan of the drunken noodle though.
This is where white people get their Thai food. 😩😩😩😩. Nothing about the food here is truly authentic. All the true Thai flavors are dumbed down for their targeted audience whom have limited and uncultured palates. If you want Thai food that is authentic to its core, walk down the street and go to Sticky Rice. Or go to Bamboo Resturant on national avenue.
Doesnt have any desert
Delicious food and staff were friendly and attentive.
I'll be back by myself
Great food and service. I ate there today and have gotten takeout once and a while. I recommend the curry or the drunken noodles
Consistently good. Such a great blend of Asian dishes. 🍣🍛🙌
Too much sauce on the Pad Thai so it was a disappointment. Service/staff put the pay device down and selected the tip amount for me, which I thought was presumptuous and rude. And I’ve loved Thainamite
Delish!
Awesome food not a bad thing on the menu 🤤. We drive an hour to come here and it's worth it
It was my first experience with this restaurant. I called in my order and was torn between the Pad Prik POA and the Mighty Cashew. The employee happily explained the two to me and I decided to get the Pad Prik. Overall that was thee best decision I made. The flavor was amazing and the texture of both the rice and vegs were outstanding. 🔥🔥 10/10 recommend
Slow service but excellent food. Decent prices. Will go again
I've been going here for many years. I really like the location, atmosphere, and staff. The food is very good with one big caveat. The protein (chicken, beef) is of pretty low quality. I usually end up ordering dishes with tofu to avoid it. It really lets down what is otherwise a great place.
Excellent Thai Food and Sushi coupled with Great Service!!!
Great thai and sushi right on brady. Seating indoor and out. Highly recommend the red curry and various rolls.
The food was very delicious and priced pretty well. However, the waitress gave us a stern talking to for only giving a 20% custom tip instead of the 25%, 30%, or 35% pre-selected options on the tablet used for payment. Besides that awkward and rude situation, the food was very delicious.
Gratuity was suppose to be for a party of 5...only 3 of us....air conditioner was too freaking cold....too packed..
My food was so dry and bland I had to toss it away! The shrimp didn’t have any flavor or taste. I had dry spring rolls, watery Tom Yum, and pad Thai that was so sad. I wasted damn near $50 on nothing. I am beyond disappointed. I usually don’t leave a bad rating but everything I ordered was disgusting and the service was equally dry!!
So delicious, couldn’t even stop to take a picture because it was so good. So many vegan and vegetarian options, we got the Thai-namite Curry, Drunken Noodles, and the Tosa Signature Maki roll. I couldn’t recommend these enough, we split all these meals between two people and we are very happily filled. Probably the best curry I’ve had, and curry is my favorite food. Dog friendly patio making it super easy to bring our scruff :-)
I love their curry dishes. They have the best panang curry in Milwaukee.
Try the Thai tea!
You should definitely get the Thai-namite curry (massuman).
good
If you want Thai food don’t go to this restaurant.
They have high chair for kids but no kids menu.
The chicken in my food was smelly
The restaurant is located on a corner street with Bradley Street. Bradley brings a “Happy to live life” atmosphere with motorcycles and cars driving by, both young and old, with many restaurants.
The dishes are Thai and Japanese but with delicious Hawaiian infusion sweetness at times. The servers were on point to serve. The orders came fast and hot; as one can tell, a high-heat wok was used as this was NOT a mass-produced and refrigerated taste.
I recommend eating here. I saw couples, grandparents, and young eating here. The windows bring in the light and the life of Bradley Street. I enjoyed dining here and will come again.
Thai-namite is the best Thai in town and I never order the same thing because everything is delicious.
Our lunches were excellent. Food was fresh, flavors were great, reasonable prices. Will be back.
Very good food and service
First visit and it was a real treat. It will be on my regular stop list.
Volcano Chicken is Great! Came for lunch with 3 friends who had never been here before. One friend and I flew in from Illinois. Always dine at Thai-namite when I am in Milwaukee. Friends also ordered Volcano Chicken (as I raved about it), at different spice levels (1,2, or3). All loved it! Friendly, excellent staff! Will be back!
My must go when craving Thai food! Good Quality l, Quantity and Price! My favorite dishes are: Wrap-A-Pad Thai and Thai-Namite Curry
Love the ginger heat and green curry. Green curry will make you stay up all night in a seated position. Ginger heat same heat and flavor less sitting.
Delicious food and sushi, great service. Very clean atmosphere. I had pepper beef and some salmon rolls and both were excellent. Worth checking out if you have a sushi craving.
No frills, tasty but we got food poisoning and the high chairs were unsanitary.
Excellent food!
Green Bay Packers sushi roll was sooo good!!
Solid the whole way through. One of our go to regular spots. Lots of vegan options with a well labeled menu and helpful staff
So happy my photos have helped people see what they food looks like. These are still my favorite photos.
I would have given 4 stars, but the curry was lukewarm. It was very tasty, but with only 2 tables occupied, they could have done better.
Get the tempura app!
Pretty bland experience and the sushi was average. Our server was nice but overall I've had way better sushi experience.
Best massaman curry in town, hands down. I don't know why but this is the only location that carries it, and honestly it's also the only one I'd really recommend - the quality is very high and the inside is a lovely spot
Good sushi

I love this place, wish I never had to go anywhere else for Pad Thai.
Favorite place to eat on Brady St
TOM KHA!!!!!
Solid effort, I enjoyed my dish. My wife was less than thrilled with her meal.
I had the pad Thai, which they do a little differently by wrapping it up kind of like an omelette. My friend got curry that looked equally delicious. The food was good, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff was great.
Great food and service!
First time visit. Had the pad Thai. It was delicious. Ordered a tea. No taste to it. Looked like swamp water. Regular black or green tea would of sufficed for me. Service good. Nice atmosphere.
Lunch was very flavorful. I would like to return and add more spice/heat to my dish. It's always a bit tricky going to a place for the first time and not knowing how hot is hot.
Thainamite is beloved by eastsiders. It is one of the few restaurants in the city that can crowd a dining room any night of the week. So why am I docking a point for the food today? Well I have a bone to pick with the curries: red, yellow, green and massaman. I'm starting to think that despite the amazing flavor profile of a curry, they are a little too sweet and salty. Also, annoyingly, I picked beef to go in the curry and it was quite chewy. Make no mistake, it still earns four out of five stars being an intensely flavorful dish. I hope they consider my feedback.
Amazing
We looked for fried rice and we got there. Tried thai namite special and hawain fried rice.
Hawain one was sweet and savory but pineapple mixed with hot rice is not good in taste imo.
Otherwise, food was nice, warm and plenty. We order two but i think one would have been enough.
Their service people are friendly.
Crowded and loud atmosphere.
I would recommend their tofu. So far best tofu I have consumed in milwaukee.

Great food and waiters as well. Love coming here for a bite of thai food and sushi together.
Update: Maybe they changed owners but tue food is really sweet now and does not taste authentic. Sucks because it was really good.
Great place to eat very friendly good ambiance and good food
The sushi is excellent. The location is good. The atmosphere and service were a bit lacking.
🇹🇭🍣🍙😋
The drunken noodles are the best great service really a gem.
Good experience, good service. Was a little underwhelmed after hearing about Thainamite all these years but definitely good
I usually love Thai-namite. However this time was different. We got sat across from the sushi bar and were not even greeted by anyone for 15 minutes, which is when we left! Multiple waitresses walked by our table and even stared at us, yet no one came over. A couple walked in and were greeted and had water on their table within 2 minutes. I work in the service industry myself and I am very disappointed and will not be returning.
Absolutely wonderful sushi and pad sew ew. Very wonderful staff as well
I'm impressed. A cute little space with large windows. We stopped in for a late lunch. Service was friendly and fast. The food was everything I was hoping it would be. I like very spicy and flavorful dishes. I ordered the Ginger Heat, with chicken, and level 3 spice. Thai-namite blew my expectations out of the water. I haven't stopped thinking about that dish since. Our server brought a shaker full of hot chili pepper. Wow, it was spicy with a nice touch of more flavor.
Try their crab rangoon.
Their sushi is a must.
Their Thai tea is on point.
Amazing. I always have a great experience here. The sushi is great!
Always a banger! Great sushi, curry, and rice dishes!
Large portions, excellent food for the price. Great selection.
I'd recommend the pad se ew with beef.
Their food has never disappointed me
I go here pretty regularly. It's on the quieter end of Brady. So, it's a nice place to sit on the sidewalk and have a glass of sake.
Crab rangoon is top tier. Curry is excellent. The sushi is mid, but consistent. Service style is perfunctory, yet attentive.
The waitresses was a little rude to my daughter
Loved it!
Great spot for Thai food. I've had all the curries at least once and they've all been really good. The fried rice is great too. My dine in and take out experiences have all been good with fast service.
The food was decent but the cost is not worth it. It is very expensive & I didn't like it when the waiter or server who served us put a tip worth $8 without asking us. I hated that aspect. Tip should be the choice of the customer & not the waiter.
Some of the food was good, some was meh. Place is small and a little white walled. There's a lot of potential for them to culture it
