I ordered The Thai Basil w/ chicken and it was pretty bland and practically nothing but green beans. The chicken was broken up into a bunch of tiny little pieces that I couldn’t enjoy a decent bite. Their fresh rolls were pretty tasty and the Thai tea was delicious though. Most likely will not try this place again.

I was reading the reviews. Some were saying spicy level 3 and they were asking for more spicy !! I went in Thailand multiple times . I had Thai spicy food!i am a fan of spicy when the mixture of spices doesn't overtake the taste of the food itself . So i ordered a take out red curry spicy level 3. Once arrived in my hotel room. I ate few bite and had to stop .. This is spicy level 7-8 .. i really wish it was less spicy. I can barely taste anything of it. Let's see. If they want to make it fair . They would definitely deserve a 5 star. Mistake do happen .

Good food, but portions are way too small compared to other Thai restaurants. Just a few small pieces of beef in my Pad Thai. Restroom and kitchen doors are next to each other and were both opened.

Lived in the valley my entire life and this was my first time eating here. I had the Thai BasiI with shrimp and brown rice, it was very good. I like super spicy food and am always chasing down something that burns. The four star spice was extremely spicy like I'd expect and wanted. Waitress was kind enough to keep my water coming! Would definitely eat there again.

45min wait for a simple Togo order. Wasn't busy at the time. Some tables were seated and food brought out to them in an normal amount of time while other tables that were seated waited longer than the 45min we waited for our Togo order. They boxed their food and left because they to were unhappy about the wait time. Likely to not return.

One of our Wenatchee favorites. Delicious array of options. The mango sticky rice and Coconut Creme Brulee are incredible, but not always in stock so get em while you can.

Finding good Thai food outside greater Seattle is tough to do, and finding Great Thai food is more often than not an unfulfilled and unreasonable expectation. That said, The Thai in Wenatchee would fit right in and be successful anywhere between Seattle and San Francisco. Our server was Rhys, she was knowledgeable of the menue selections and of the kitchen's abilities. She communicated articulately and genuinely. She checked in on us considerately.

The heat index is 4 star, and it's a spicy yet still palatable level that doesn't hinder your taste buds from differentiating between the basil, curry, ginger, lemon, etc. And that's the gist of this review... the individual flavors came through each dish, both the panang curry and the eggplant had distinct and richness of balanced flavors that would make either one enjoyable to have again.

Thank you, The Thai, for the efforts you put into your food and your service. Too often, these qualities are missing in today's dining options.

Went there looking forward to enjoying an authentic Thai dinner based off reviews.
I thought it was odd that someone wrote a review about there being no Asians working or cooking there, however we observed the same thing.
Waited a long time to be seated and for the food.
OrderedPad Thai chicken wings, Tom Kah soup and green curry. Each item served we couldn’t eat. They were overly sweet/bland and the pad Thai wings were fried to a point of being inedible.
We let our server know and we were going to pay the bill, but they did pick up the check and we left her a tip.
It was a very uncomfortable situation to let them know that the food wasn’t good, but we just couldn’t force ourselves to stomach it.

Love their Bangkok Mule. I am impressed by the quality of food every time I visit. Great service and food.

I don't think the cook had ever eaten any actual Thai food.

They won’t take party more than 8, so we are willing to separate into two tables, 3 & 7, but they still don't want to serve us. Very unprofessional and rude. Maybe they don’t want to serve us, Asian people. Never recommend this ra**** restaurant.

The Sweetest Thai I’ve ever had. Their dishes are lacking traditional Thai spices which appear to have been replaced with sugar. If you’re the type of person that is on the sugar train looking for your next fix and you don’t really like the traditional Thai ingredients then you will love this place. The chicken pad Thai had no been sprouts or lime. The Thom Kha Soup lacked any of the traditional ingredients but instead tasted like it was comprised of sugar a little coconut water and some mushrooms and chicken thrown in. I’ve been to a lot of Thai places and this was easily my least favorite. I was really looking forward to going to Thai as I haven’t been in a while. Also I was starving from just completing a 7 mile hike. It gets two stars because the staff were friendly and the place appeared clean.

Great waitress, went beyond to help me make my mothers birthday special. The only negative I had was the kid friendliness. There wasn't much for my 4 year old daughter to eat :/

Hey guys! I would just like to say, Henry was absolutely the best server I’ve ever had. He was very helpful with picking a good plate with me to try something new. Will definitely come back when I’m in Wenatchee!

We were there today for lunch. Service was very slow. After 45 min waiting for food, we needed to leave. They still have not brougt out our food. They asked to just box our lunch instead. I ordered Panam. It supposed to come with spinach but I only got rice and tofu. Tofu was tasteless. So disappointed!

Don’t understand why people think this restaurant is “so good” the food is very bland. spice levels aren’t accurate. My lemonade was All Lemon juice no sugar what so ever, I had to physically add 5 packets of sugar and it barely took away the bitterness. The peanut sauce has no taste to peanut simply just very bland and service was horrible. Absolutely do not recommend coming here, nothing is authentic or special about it you’ll simply be disappointed and have your money wasted.

Just had a very unpleasant time at this restaurant. So my mother and I walk in at 7:31 or around. We talk to the host and he tells that he will be right back. Then 2 minutes later, he comes back saying that they are wiping down and getting a table ready for us. So my mom and I waited over 10 mins. Then this older white couple walks in. And IMMEDIATELY they got seated at the table, that was supposed to be for my mom and I. My mom walks over to this other hostess. And my mom says "You just sat that couple before us. We have been for over 10 minutes. We were here first." Then the hostess goes "well this is the first time we talked". My mom says "well you serve white people over indigenous people. Wow. " And we leave at 7:42. The restaurant was busy, but that doesn't mean she should have done that. We were told to be seated and wait for a table to open for us. And we did. But this white couple being seated before. Just walked into the restaurant. Very poor customer service of that hostess.

Seen the reviews and dropped my trailer so I could bobtail over. I didn't even get to eat. I walked in the door and didn't see an Asian let alone a Thai person working anywhere in the establishment. It didn't have an aroma of Thai cooking nor the atmosphere. Basic a fraudulent advertisement. Very disappointing since I went out of my way to venture over there. I'm rating this place 2 star because the food is not good. I don't know why they call this place "Thai" restaurant when they can't even make a good Pad see ew properly. The curry was bland, just very disappointing specially when the reviews says its "authentic Bangkok style". The servers were nice, the place is clean but the food definitely does not taste

*Waitress was kind, attentive and willing to ask questions in the back

*We chose this place because of the gluten free availability on the menu and the fact that they are able to make most things on the menu with gluten free sauce.
*We both had the Thai Basil dish (mine gluten free with veggies and brown rice and my husband's chicken and white rice). I asked for spicy (level 3) and my husband no spice. I found myself requesting more ground chili's from the back, it wasn't quite spicy enough, but I know that is better than over spiced. We also were both slightly disappointed in the flavor. I guess we expected something called "thai basil" to have a basil flavor. My husband was disappointed in the small amount of chicken on his dish. The dish was quite salty as well. The rice was delightful though.

Overall satisfied though, if slightly lacking in flavor.
We would try again, though, if we were in town longer. Absolutely loved the ability to find gluten free items on the menu and the fact that they can customize. BEST PART...I didn't get sick from anything which is a huge deal! So thank you for the care in cross contamination!

First thai food i have had in wenatchee and man i am seriously impressed! The food was so flipping good. I got there right as they opened and the staff was honest about how long it would take for the woks to heat up which i appreciated. We had Pad see ew, veggie curry, fresh rolls and extra peanut sauce and man all of it was flawlessly good. I will 100% be going back.

Great at making what you want as far as sweet or spicy. If you haven't tried it, it's worth a stop.

Not bad for the price. I’m not a huge fan of Thai food, most of it is too sweet for me, but my friend seemed to enjoy it. The building was kind of neat with its ceiling inside matching the curve of the outside. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was good.

Great service was quite busy when I came in. Water refilled flawlessly, good IPA, decent curry but rather sweet. Spice level ok at medium. Very hot day so restaurant was very warm!

The food was delicious! We ordered chicken satay, pad Thai, and pad kee mao. The peanut sauce that came with the chicken satay was so good we were quite literally eating it by the spoonful. 😂

I didn't eat what I ordered because it wasn't good. Tried something new but everyone else liked theirs.

I had a great experience here. It seems every Thai restaurant has a different spicy scale and this place is no different, it goes to 4. I asked my server about the differences and he actually had relevant info to share about it which ended up being spot on. The onions and veggies had good char on them from what must have been a hot wok (as it should be) and the flavor of my dish was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Do NOT order online. The online ordering website does not sync with the restaurant and you will end up paying for food that does not get made. On top of that the servers have no idea how to deal with this problem and are incredibly rude when offering solutions. Normally I would reach out to management to resolve this sort of issue directly rather than posting a review but since there is no contact info on the website and the server refused to put me in contact with a manager this is the best I can do.

Having made several longer visits to Thailand, it was a huge pleasure to find The Thai 3 years ago when I was new to town. The food is authentically seasoned and well prepared with fresh veggies. The quality service is always friendly.

We enjoyed a feast tonight of basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, a curry dish (we have had them all and refuse to play favorites here!), mushroom and eggplant with tofu for the first time (absolutely yummy), and my favorite beef "phad see you".

We have enjoyed the Tom yum soup, egg and fresh rolls for appetizers in the past. I wish they had the fried fishcake appetizer, but their menu offers a great selection of delicious Thai food to go, or even better when fresh (Of course when on-site dining is available). The interior space is irregular, funky and comfortable. Definitely worth a stop.

The Thai is our favorite restaurant in town! They always have wonderful service, and are always very quick to get our food out. We love how family friendly they can be, while still being a great date night spot!

Great service and amazing food, I had the Yun Nua (a sweet and spicy steak salad) and it was a perfect balance of sweet and heat. My wife had a pork Pad Thai and she absolutely loved it. To top it all off they currently offer indoor seating.

When our parents called to place the take-out order, they were told the bill was already taken care of by us, and they even suggested a great wine to go with there meal that we added to their order, which my parents found out about after they picked up their food. Of all the Thai restaurants in the Wenatchee area this one is the worst. Curry tastes like water, super small portions for the price. Very bland and over priced.

Having come from the Seattle area they have the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Its always hot and delicious. They provide great takeout and also dining in options. When you ask for something mild that’s exactly how it’s served without lacking any flavor.

The Thai restaurant is my favorite place to get Thai food in Wenatchee. It is always clean inside the restaurant, the staff is friendly, and when it comes to explaining the menu/making suggestions they are quite helpful. The seating arrangements inside can accommodate small, medium or large groups (I have eaten with a group as small as 3 and one as big as 12 plus). The food is hot, fast, and delicious. They have high chairs for little ones. We always enjoy our time eating at the Thai Restaurant.
