PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to Nana Thai - they are fabulous!!!! Seriously, these folks know Thai!! We have just found our new favorite Thai food place!! Insanely delicious dishes ( and we are picky when it comes to Thai) that are wok-hot, perfectly seasoned, and just such a pleasure to eat! They use high- quality ingredients in the dishes we ate ( Thai Basil Beef, Chicken Panang and Crab Wontons) that had an amazing balance of meat, spices, vegetables and sauces. The Thai Basil Beef, in particular, was spectacular with nice big chunks of very flavorful beef, mushrooms, onions and plenty of great basil! A nice little kick of heat with chili produced an outstanding dish. The Panang was divine as well!! The Crab Wontons were stuffed with a delicious crabby filling and fried nice and crispy. Loved them with their great chili sauce. We can't think of a meal we've enjoyed this much in a long time! The server was very sweet and friendly. Just a wonderful experience! We highly recommend Nana Thai. It is in the Freighthouse Center and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back and have already recommended them to our family and friends.

I went back here for a second time. This time I tried dishes I found on a foodies TikTok. I got the wrapped bacon shrimp, crab fried rice and their pad kee mao.
The bacon shrimp wrap was amazing. Crispy on the outside. The sweet sauce tht goes with it compliments it so well. There a total of 6 wraps all on a bed of lettuce.

The pad kee mao was delicious. I asked for hot as they can be and they brought it up for both this dish and the crab fried rice. The pad kee mao must be one of the best drunken noodles I’ve tried. I love the sautéed basil in tht dish. The crab fried rice came with a delicious spicy lime sauce tht is served on the side. They also use real crab in this dish. I love the slice of tomato in every main dish.

Also you can never go wrong with their Thai ice tea.

I've always liked Washington people. Maybe more service-oriented or better work ethics, but definitely felt well served. Though not many options to choose from the menu, my dish, forgot the name because it was recommended, was pretty good, prepared just the right amount of heat and not like every thai noodle dish. I wasn't thirsty afterwards. The hostess was very attentive and friendly.

It's in a food court, not a restaurant per se. Run by a young man from Chiangmai and a young woman from Nan; I assume they're a couple. VERY nice pleasant people! Even if the food was terrible, which it was NOT, I would go back just to talk with them! I had the khao soi, my favorite, which many restaurants won't serve, because they feel they can't do it authentically, and my wife had Thai fried rice. We were both very pleased; she's a tiugher customer than me since she has food related PTSD (long story.) While we were eating they filled 10 or 12 to go orders. oh... coming soon they say: A pork rib soup. A couple of regulars from Transit Security are all kinds of excited over it.

After trying the scrumptious, affordable pork lumpia, here, I expanded to adding Tom Kha Gai (soup) to my order this week. I was not disappointed. The food is hot, and fresh! The service is friendly. This is the best sort of savory comfort food, on a rainy night.

Top notch pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and yakisoba. Excellent flavoring, crisp veggies, and generous portions. I am from San Diego or I'd be back to try more! Situated in a food court but every bit as good as a sit-down place. Venue has other vendors too, so it would be easy to mix and match with other different tastes.

I come here before work and always get the Jasmine Tea or Peach. My boyfriend also enjoys Nana Thai and we already share something when we get a chance to get down here together.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but my food was terrible. I ordered on doordash and will probably throw it away because it's borderline inedible. The drunken noodles, the crispy garlic chicken, the lumpia. It was all low quality, low effort, way too salty. The broccoli in the noodles was rock hard and didn't seem to be cooked with the noodles, like it was thrown in afterwards or something.

I got grilled chicken salad and peach tea. The food is fantastic and the service is lovely 💕 definitely coming back soon.

I would have taken a photo, but I thought of it to late; the plate was clean out. It was very good, with reasonable prices; strongly recommended. Staff was awesome in everyway. I will return to try others dishes. The Freight house square building is a very warm place, but that's not the restaurants fault. If it's to warm for you, order to go, but if you like to eat, this place will not disappoint.

Friendly and delicious Thai classics!

The food is excellent. The owner are friendly and inviting. Ashley host and owner very friendly, customer service oriented and knowledgeable about the food. This one of my favorite restaurants to eat waiting for the train or just going shopping in Frieght House Square. I recommend the all the food , but my favorites are pineapple fried rice, stir fried egg noodles, cripy chicken salad and pad thai.

As in writing this, I am on my third straight day eating at Nana. If you’re looking for fresh and tasty Thai food, then come to this place inside Freighthouse. I love their chicken wings and their curry (green and coconut) is the best I’ve had here in Tacoma.

BEST LUMPIA IN TOWN!!! I’m here every week and the service is always on point and really nice ppl. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The Lumpia is a MUST HAVE!! Enjoy!

This place is truly wonderful! The workers had to handle about 15+ orders and got them finished very quickly. The teriyaki chicken is one of the best on their menu and don't get me started on their thai ice tea! Truly a great restaurant, highly reccomend!

The freight house is already a great spot. The food at this place is delicious, the staff is super nice and knowledgeable! I’ve never had a bad plate front this restaurant! And if you love green tea you should definitely try their Thai iced jasmine green tea.

Their crispy fried chicken - best nuggets in town.

I have pad Thai and Thai fried rice and they both well seasoned. One thing that I love is drink packaging. I always have a hard time mixing Thai tea by just stirring with a straw so it is great to see that use a better quality plastics cup that well sealed and reusable so I can shake the cup without creating a mess.

I've tried several other Thai places in Tacoma and this is still my favorite. I recommend getting one of their daily specials. It's such a great price and still a good amount of food! Food is made to order and comes out to you real quick, service/staff have always been wonderful and attentive.

Ok so this was just shortly after we had eaten at Zeeks but I had to get something here because I used their restroom and you have to get a code from the vendors.
So this place is in a food hall that located next to the train terminal by the Tacoma Dome.
They had crab fried rice on the menu so I decided to try it. Wasn’t really hungry but I had to buy something. My wife is a seafood snob so I figured since it was near the ocean I would be getting fresh crab however that wasn’t the case. Now don’t let that deter you because the crab rice was outstanding. The young man that cooked it did a fantastic job of cooking it. Yes I watched him do his magic.
I will say you will want to leave your windows down as you transport this dish because your car will be aromatic for a while.
The garlic butter sauce that was given to pour over it was sooo good on the rice I about burst trying to consume as much of it as I could because Sharlena wasn’t going to let me bring it back on the train lol.
Please check these guys out. Real good food.

Everywhere I’ve eaten from in the Freighthouse square has been absolutely delicious, and Nana Thai did not disappoint in that pattern.

I ordered the Pad Kee Mao, and I had to tell my coworker to take my bowl away from me because I literally couldn’t stop eating it, it was so good. I ordered it a 3.5-4 star, and he achieved that spice level perfectly. I also ordered the lumpia, which were also delicious. Food was delicious and came out fresh and quickly. Not a single complaint.

Support local!! There’s free parking across the street, and plenty of open seating at Freighthouse.

Stumbled across this place while my husband was grabbing seafood. Ordered the pad Thai and absolutely loved it! Perfect spice level. Good sized portion as well. They were really nice and service was very fast. Definitely a new favorite!

The lumpia is really good. Skinny sticks that are a decent size length but tasteful. Don't like it's a dollar for sauce that is a third of the way full. I had a few of the food menu items and they were good not great. My go to spot for lumpia for sure.

Amazing food and amazing customer service

While waiting for a bus, I came here and got myself some pad kee mao (drunken noodles), one of my favorite Thai dishes. I ordered it with tofu and 3/5 for the spice. Nana didn't disappoint! The tofu and veggies were cooked perfectly, and the sauce had a wonderful sweetness to it that played well with the spice. I love heat, so with a runny nose by the end of my meal, I was very pleased! The portion was also quite generous for the price, which means I get to enjoy it again later. Service was very friendly and quick. Overall, I had a lovely experience and will be returning! Thank you!

Stumbled upon this place the other day and it's amazing! There are many options in this food market and I went with the place that has Lumpia! It's SO good. Also the Pad Thai was a delicious standard. Get two orders of lumpia, you'll never want it to stop.

I've never left a review for a restaurant, but this warrants one. I just had chicken teriyaki delivered and it's so bad I can't eat it. The chicken is so overcooked, it hurt my jaw to chew. I thought it would be grilled but it was sautéed. It's light tan... absolutely no sauce whatsoever.

It doesn't taste like chicken OR teriyaki. It's going in the garbage along with the rice and brown lettuce.

If I could give zero I would. I ordered Singapore noodles and got something else and the portion was reduced with price higher. Few years ago this place was pretty good but not anymore. I got bad mushrooms before that was canned but they said I was lying. N said it was fresh...you can canned mushrooms from fresh when cooked. It's obvious. (Does this look like Singapore noodles? No curry on there, and that's basic for Singapore noodles)

Thank you to the 2 gentlemen who provided good customer service and even better teriyaki chicken. I have yet to find another restaurant serving teriyaki at $12 period. Oh and by the way it was very good and filling. Thanks for a fantastic lunch.

If you’ve ever had tofu you know it has to be cooked, you can’t even really call the rice fried rice somehow they were able to burn some of the rice but not cook the rest smh$30 worth of food and I had to throw it away it was starting to make me sick smh no effort was put in

Ordered shrimp pad Thai. The staff was friendly but this is the most pathetic phad Thai I have ever seen. I should have checked it before leaving. No veggies, no peanuts, noodles are mush. Super disappointed

The food is wonderful and very plentiful in size. Nice variety also. If you are looking for Thai this should be your destination. Another benefit is the funky open-air seating inside Freighthouse Square with access to many other restaraunts inside the building.

Do not eat at this place or any place in the freighthouse. Today while waiting for our food a huge rat came running out of the kitchen. It must happen often as it ran right by the employees and they didn't even budge. Totally disgusting.

Mediocre Thai food that seems to to morph Thai cooking into something they believe will please Tacoma. The older women working there is beyond snarly.

The cashew chicken was tasty. The paid thai wasn't what I am used to but it was still flavorful. The crab wontons were yummy too!

Their menu does not accurately describe what you are ordering. I ordered the pineapple fried rice because the description only listed "curry powder, pineapple, egg, onion, broccoli, carrots, and cashew nuts." All things I will eat. Nowhere on the menu was it indicated that this dish would be absolutely stuffed with green and red bell peppers. Menus exist so people can choose food they actually want to eat, and not wind up with a steaming plate of garbage. If the menu doesn't actually tell you what you're really about to pay for, then you wind up paying for food you can't eat. Also I ordered through uber eats which means I've already waited half an hr just to find out that I need to find an alternative dinner.

I often get orange chicken here. I love it. The sauce is amazing. Last time I ordered, I tried the Pad Thai. It tasted OFF like something was rancid. It put me off for a couple of weeks, but I decided to try my beloved orange chicken again today. Not only was it WAY WAY overdone, but I found a piece of plastic in my fried rice. Not sure what’s going on in this restaurant, but I just can’t eat here any more.
