I found this little gem by accident. It’s tucked away in the back of the strip mall area so you wouldn’t know it’s there from the main street.
The food was outstanding and the service was great
The green chicken curry was delicious and very warming on a cool day. The heat level by stars was perfectly as described by the server and except what I was looking for.
Based on the modest price I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion. This is definitely not going to break the bank and you will not leave hungry by any means.
There were several people picking up food to-go and calls coming in for orders while I was there around 3:00pm. I’m guessing the majority of their customers are returning.
The atmosphere is much like you would expect in a strip mall, nothing fancy, but seemed clean. (I do wish the back area and restroom were as clean. It only takes two minutes to clean the cooler doors and a clean restroom is a sign of a clean restaurant, people!)
Because of the flavors, price and service I will definitely make a point to stop back in again next time I’m in the area.
We ordered take out on a friday night. We did an order of the crab ragoons and the sampler platter. I dont think there was enough crab flavor for my liking, buty sister absolutely loved them. The sampler platter was a very mix of items, but was hoping they would have included a little more sauce. The coconut prawns were my favorite. And the chicken satay is different than I've had before, not bad, just different. We both got the pineapple fried rice with chicken. It was very good, we did star 3 and 4 and the spice level was on point. This was a very nice meal.
My husband and I just ate the best Thai food ever!! Massaman Curry was absolutely delicious. Pad Thai was perfect. Pineapple Pork Fried Rice was my favorite part of this meal! We are so excited to have found your wonderful family business and will be coming back over and over. The boy helping up front was such a delight and helpful! Thank you so much 🙏🏽
Me (vegan) and my friend (vegetarian) are visiting from Portland, so this was our first time here! Our server was Sorya, and the service was really quick. She was very nice, and helped me find something suitable. They made the fried rice with out egg or spice. It was sooooo good. Huge portions! The coconut ice green tea was delicious too. :-)
after trying all of the Thai restaurants in the are this my favorite Thai place.
My go to is their Panang curry (perfect, creamy, slightly spicy and right amount of basil flavour)and Pad thai(great balance of sweet and sour, I always get it with extra fried egg).
The place is very clean, and people are always friendly and welcoming
You always get your order very quickly
Very good panang curry
Great pad Thai and the best yellow curry I've had in a long time. You have to check this place out. The service was fantastic too!

Best Phad Thai I've yet to find in Puyallup/South Hill! Great soups too!

Updated: the last 2 times we've ordered from here the food has not been the same quality as before.
Very very very good food! Excellent service. My new favorite go-to
This is one of the best Thai places we’ve experienced! Excellent food and staff is friendly and accommodating. They were able to make my meal vegan without any issue. Would 100% recommend :)
I actually really like this place but the scale on which they do their spiciness varies so greatly. I usually always get a 3 star, sometimes I can’t taste the spice and sometimes it’s too spicy to eat.
Always great service and amazing food
Definitely going to order hotter next time.
Absolutely the best Thai food around. They are happy to make my yellow pineapple curry vegan. I'd go there every day if I could❤️
This place is amazing. Best Thai food around hands down. Will def be back again and again

Great food! Had a combo, chicken panang curry w/jasmine rice, pad thai, and fried rolls! Yummy!
It's gone down hill fast. Used to be really good. Not sure what happened. There used to be kids inside all the time and what seemed to be their mother. She was amazing. A little cluttered back then but the service was good. The food was great. The restaurant was warm. Now it's cold, the service lacks. The tables are dirty. It's more of a to go atmosphere. They give you less meat, the peanut salad is gone, bland flavor, no spice. The inspection reports are alarming as well. Bankok Thai is pretty good a little farther but that's my new to go
Good food and great service
Best Chicken Pad Thai we love ordering for our coaches and picking up to go!
Pad Thai, House Fried Rice and Tom Yum Soup, all are so good.
Small shop, excellent food and great people. Try the exotic garlic from the wok and Tom yum soup.

Always amazing! The food is so fresh even when we get it to go. So thankful to have such an amazing Thai food restaurant close by!
This place used to be our go to Thai restaurant. We always give a place at least three opportunities to redeem themselves. The last two visits the food has been very disappointing as far as flavor compared to what it used to be. Not sure if they just changed staff or quality of products. Food quality has gone down considerably very disappointing.
We ate here after getting a recommendation from a family member. We are so glad we did! The food was delicious and made fresh. The service was excellent and prompt. We will definitely come back.
This was my first visit to Charm. The fresh rolls were very good with great sauce and a generous portion. The extra garlic stir fry was very good but the green beans were not young and tender. The 3 Star spice had play of heat... I liked it. The brown rice was very wholesome with whole grains. Better than most. I will definitely go back in the future.
Loved it. No problem making my meal fully vegan. This is my go-to since I found them. Great food and very friendly staff.
The Food was amazing and the service quick and efficient.
Use the bathroom at home!
I was ordering for a lot of people without specific instructions. Staff was very friendly and made some suggestions. When I got it home, the whole group was impressed. Will definitely go again.
Best chicken pad Thai I have eaten.
This spot is the only consistent Thai joint on Meridian. Hidden gem, would never be able to spot from the main road. The cashew chicken always has a good amount of cashews. They never skimp on the protein either, unlike some spots closer to the mall. 10/10 one of the best Thai spots in the Pacific Northwest.
Our go to place. Always so delicious and hot. Generous portions. We love it here!!
Love this place! Frequently come here, their crab wontons and Thai tea are amazing!
Good Thai food. Clean and good customer service
Everything is always hot and delicious. Been going here for a few years and the staff is great.
Overall great for vegetarians!! Food was still hot even after the drive home! I’ll definitely be backs again!
I go here all the time but yesterday I tried the Changai Noodles and was blown away at how good it was. I may have found a new favorite
I love this place, great food and consistently delicious. I always get the Thai Basil 5 star Thai hot. So good!
The best Thai food in the county. I'm picky with my Thai food and this is simply the best.
This is one of the best restaurants in PUYALLUP. The food is made fresh to order and is absolutely unbelievable. The staff is at your command, and so accommodating. A great place
Best Thai food in puyallup area 😋
Small family run restaurant. The vibes were super chill when we ate in with my wife’s grandpa visiting. He didn’t know what he wanted and talked to the waitress about what he wanted and she customized a fried rice plate for him. He loved the food and my wife and I really enjoyed our meals too (we eat here at least once every could have months). Come and eat here! Wontons are a great app and every entree I’ve tried here is delicious!!
Best curry especially the green curry and the fried rolls are so good you guys have kept me fed many nights thank you lol
I think we found a gem at the end of the parking lot. We had curry chicken skewers, they were good, get 4, and we had exotic garlic, one chicken one pork, we had lunch portions. It was really good, I always ask myself if I will come back, the answer is yes !
It was really nice, and delicious
Great menu options. Delicious, friendly and very clean.
Exactly what you want in a local neighborhood Thai place. You’re in the PNW so you know there’s a million places like this and they all make dishes a little different. I like this place for a couple reasons. I can order online and their follow up email gives the wait time to pickup. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like. The spice is consistent each time. They can make a lot of their dishes Gluten free (some like the Pad Thai already are). I consider myself lucky to have these this restaurant nearby.
My favorite Thai spot in town! The food is consistently well prepared and the staff is always friendly. It helps that they offer a military discount too. The best part for me is that I have a soy allergy (but I love Thai food) and they accommodate me every time!
It was our first visit! So clean and delicious! I loved the beef massuman curry! So good!
One of my favorite places to eat! Every item of food is delicious and the service is excellent. I highly recommend coming and trying them out! Favorites are phad ba mee and red curry
Love this place the prices are good and the amount of food you get is Alot. You get your food hot and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. It's small but cozy and the staff is friendly
This is my husbands favorite place. When I asked him if he wanted anything special to eat when he was coming back from deployment instead of naming a dish I make he said, "Oh yeah I really want Pad See Ewe from Charm!" Their Pineapple Fried Rice is my go to.
Great deal for the combo. Panang Curry was great.
Cozy and comfortable with excellent food! Service was great even though they said they are short staffed. Definitely going again!
Had lunch here today and everything was amazing !
Great food, helpful staff, nice portion sizes. Best Thai I've had since moving to this area
Food was delicious, and the service was great!
Good food. Nice friendly staff.
First time eating here, will absolutely return!
Seriously one of the best thai places around, definitely gives peanut sauce (in Tacoma) a run for their money. Not too expensive and the quality of the food is amazing, not to mention the gal that was serving was absolutely awesome!
If there were more than 5⭐ to give, I would!
One of our favorite spots for Thai in Puyallup. Great selection, large portions, excellent flavors, and friendly service. The Basil Fried Rice is wonderful!
We arrived about an hour in a half before closing, thinking we had enough time to sit down and eat. Unfortunately, we were informed they couldn't seat us or take our orders because they were so backed up. At the time, there were two tables seated eating and one or two other people waiting in the restaurant. This was a bit disappointing considering they weren't wuite ready to close yet and what may have appeared to not be enough staff.
Four of us had lunch at this restaurant for the first time. It took them forever to get our food. Finally, when we got our food only two of us got served. 5 minutes later 3rd dish came. We had to wait another 10 minutes for our 4th dish! What kind of restaurant is that? I had Pad see ew. I was not impressed. My husband ordered their lunch special Green Curry & Pad Thai which was decent.
Excellent larb and curry - would recommend pickup to-go or delivery, as dine-in is VERY slow due to how busy they are.
Probably my family's last time eating here today. The food is excellent, but our last 2 times coming, the wait time is just ridiculous. Restaurant was not busy inside, but seemed like to go orders were going out much faster than those of us inside.
The staff is very friendly, but the food was not good when we came for lunch. The chicken in my Pad Kee Mao was very dry. The two others in my group ordered Crispy Garlic Chicken and thought it tasted kind of old or stale. There was no spice at all, even though we asked for 3/5 spicy. When I asked for a box, the waitress brought me a tiny box that only fit half of what was left on my plate. Will probably come back on a different day.
Our go-to Thai place in South Hill! I’d say we get food here every week or two, and the food never disappoints. Taste? 10/10. Quality? 10/10. Service? 10/10, especially for pickup. By the time we arrive the food is ready.
Had the crispy garlic chicken, it was delicious!
Tried this place out for the first time tonight and boy oh boy I was not disappointed!!! The drunken noodles with prawn was absolutely amazing and the calamari was perfect. I will definitely be returning. Thank you
Wonderful tasty food. Loved the service and the flavors. Tasted fresh and different from all the other Thai places we’ve been to. The spice level was right on!
Highly recommend to anybody interested in a new twist on traditional Thai cuisine.
This is literally a hidden charm. I love thai food and am always trying thai restaurants. Charm thai is honestly one of my top 3. The food has so much flavor! It is so delicious. And the service is top notch as well. I have no complaints. I highly recommend this place.
Many vegan options and all have been delicious- we have a second home in WA and we try to stop by here each time we go up! The tofu panang is the best we have ever had! The staff is friendly. The interior is humble, but clean. Thankful for all the vegan options!
Horrible customer service and we waited 45 minutes and no food and no one letting us know what is going on we left hungry and upset and waited 45 minutes.
My husband and I wanted to go somewhere to have a little dinner so we came here. As we arrived lady told us it would be around 20 minutes or so so we said okay no problem. We got there at 730 drinks came ten minutes after we had a at down then another 15 minutes go by she takes out orders we were hungry and getting excited. Then around 845 we could no longer wait it had taken way too long not sure what the deal was but a good waitress would have checked on us and let us know that hey sorry is taking a while your food is almost up or something or can I get you more water or something. But nothing instead were waiting hungry and wondering what happened to our food. So finally I see her again and let her know we will just be going somewhere else and she said okay bye nothing like wait your food is almost up or nothing like that. Horrible horrible service.
Fantastic food and service.
Pad Thai was delicious and the staff was very kind. Service was fast and everything was correct.
It's a small restaurant at the end of the complex. Great service and food. A place I would love to visit again. They have plenty of options for vegetarians and a few vegan options too. Their combos are a great deal to try out the noodles, curries and rolls.
I love their drunken noodles, garlic chicken, and fresh spring rolls.
Great food, 1st time since pre pandemic and wonder why it’s been a while, too long-a great meal stop for quality Thai with amazing flavor.
Really good! And great service
My first time here and it seems to be a family-run business with wonderful people and delicious food! I got the chicken pad thai and it was one of the best pad thais I've had. The place is adorable too :) I'm excited to go back!
Very good food. Spring rolls are crispy. Excellent quality veggies. Yummy sauces. Always friendly service. I love the Exotic garlic and yellow curry.
Best sweet mango rice I have found locally.
Really great Thai food! Pretty large selection of foods suitable for most taste buds. My only complaint was the food was so incredibly hot, I wasn’t able to eat it during my lunch break. Not spicy hot, but boiling hot. Can’t wait to get back there and get some more red curry! So good!
We ordered cashew nut, vermicelli noodles and penang curry and they were delicious
A lucky find for us, tucked back in the parking lot by Motuon Church and Dessert Industries. We were greeted by a friendly server. We ordered the appetizer platter and chicken pad Thai, and chicken Pad Ba Mee. Excellent. Delicious. Scalding hot. It was empty when we walked in buy quickly filled up. We will be back.
Charm Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in all of Washington state! They have amazing food and service. Well done!
Gross and dry
Hidden gem for sure, I enjoyed the food a lot. Been living out here 10 years never seen this in my back yard. Pineapple fried rice with a side of yellow curry sauce. Fire !
Good Food, prices went up recently but that was expected.
Our new favorite thai place! Food is delish and affordable
This is the best Thai restaurant I've tried in a 15 mile radius of Puyallup. Fresh veggies cooked to perfection 😋
Pad Thai 8/10 and garlic crispy chicken was 3/10 for $15 was 5 pieces and flavor was meh, not that crispy either. Curry was tasty, 7/10.
This was by far the worst Thai food I have ever had. There soup tasted like water. No flavor!
I review almost everything I eat, don't walk, run away !!!
I have know idea how they have a good goggle rating.
WAY TO EXPENSIVE!!!
Good food, friendly people!
Yummy food, clean restaurant and friendly staff
I absolutely love this place. Tasty food and wonderful tea. 😋
I love their fresh rolls!
Been to Charm Thai many times and there’s a reason I keep coming back!
This food is amazing! The service is wonderful, attentive, always friendly, and quick.
The restaurant is very clean. Through the pandemic, Charm has done a great job of keeping customers minds at ease by keeping their restaurant very clean and it shows!
The food… 😍🤤
My family eats a plant based diet, and Charm really accommodates for people like us! Options all over the menu for people that don’t eat meat. Especially this massaman curry… wow!
Overall, Charm Thai does not miss! Highly recommended!
Food and customer service was amazing!
First time having Thai Cuisine and I can happily say I will be coming back! Service was good. Food came out fast and hot! Atmosphere was nice came mid week so place was mostly empty. Don't let that fool you! people were coming in for take out orders left and right so you know its good! If you have a second definitely swing by and enjoy! 🤙🏽
Went looking for Thai places near us and found this gem. Ordered exotic garlic for myself and I can't stop raving about it to everyone and anyone that will listen. I feel like I became one with the garlic it was so good. 🤤 Everything we ordered from pad Thai to the pad ba mee was perfect.
Service while getting my takeout was phenomenal and the parking availability is expansive.
Great food and fast service! The Pad Thai was delicious and combo deals offered variety at an affordable price. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're craving some Thai food.
Great place. Highly recommended
The food was just OK. Pretty basic, not much flavor. The spicy level was totally absent. If you are looking for simple Americanized Thai dishes l then this might be your gem.
The service was alright, friendly but lacked attention to order.
Excellent Thai food! We eat here almost weekly, and have tried multiple dishes, all of them have been great. Can’t comment on dine-in service as we always get it to go, but the food is amazing!
We enjoy eating here!
The service is fast and the food is very good!!
Great service and food.
Great food and great service!
Delivery drivers beware! They make you sign the receipt for some unknown reason. They seem to think that by you signing your name it does something? I always just put fake initials because that’s how pointless it is. Im not sure who gave them this stupid idea.
Very odd to me how many restaurants do this. As far as I am aware it doesn’t accomplish anything. Used to be a driver a few months ago and this issue was very rampant.
Edit: The audacity to call me not one their customers is ridiculous. But I guess they’re right, I won’t be eating there again!
This is a perfect little hole in the wall Thai restaurant. An absolute neighborhood gem if you ask me. Tucked away it’s easy to drive by, but it’s worth the stop. It is Family owned and operated and we have been going there off and on since they opened. Authentic food that taste great, my personal favorite is the Pad Thai and my wife and kids love all the Curry’s. Every place like typically has their own family spin on recipes. So this place it’s no different, for me that is the “Charm”
Chicken was a little crunchy, noodles were a little soggy
Great first visit. Fast, attentive service paired with great flavors. Spice levels from one to five so you can get your dish just right. Gluten free options from the wok made is easier to get food our family could enjoy. Ordered one dish to go and it was ready as we finished up. Tucked away, but best Thai we’ve had in Washington.
Food was amazing and service was amazing as well
Just had a really meh experience here. Food was late, the massuman and panang curries are identical except for a basil leaf thrown in the panang, and very little protein. The containers weren't filled, the crispy tofu order is TINY and burnt, the pad thai doesn't even have lime. I have no idea why I didn't just order from my usual place.
Very consistent, very delicious food. Would definitely recommend.
Very good thai food. Very good service. I go to Thailand often, and really enjoy this place.
Tasty, flavorful food. Affordable. Reasonable value-price ratio.
Pad Thai is a classic, Hong Kong noodles good, so were mixed veggies
My favorite Thai place and the only Pad Thai that I'll eat. Their portions are also a good size and they're not overly expensive.
Small family owned shop that is hidden in the back of a parking lot. I only discovered it by accident. I have been there twice now and had Pad Thai. The food is awesome. The staff is very friendly and prices are excellent for what you get. Guess I'll be trying something else next time but oh man I will definitely be back and a regular from now on.
Update: been 4 times now go on Mondays still going lol
Stopped here on our way home from Northwest Trek for dinner based on Google reviews. Despite the location (a pretty dead former shopping center), the place is very inviting, the staff are wonderful, and the food is excellent. So glad we stopped!
My favorite Thai place in the area! Consistently delicious, high quality, and great prices! Their phad thai and kee mao are to die for!
Neat and very tasty dishes.Ambience was good.
Servers were less but we got the dishes very soon.
All the ordered dishes are great
Totally loved the menu.. it has all the pictures of the dishes that we will be getting.
Ordered - (spice of 5⭐)
Thai Satay
House style thai fried basil fried rice
Thai basil
sticky rice desert
-Thai Satay were great among these.
*All tastes were yummy*. Would love to visit again.
Mango juice and strawberry lemonade were fresh and great
Nicer than what it looks online, super clean inside, some awesome royal vibes and great selection of vegan gluten free and vegeterian options
Went here with my sister. The service is super slow with unpleasant guest service. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and only took one bite unfortunately they told me there’s nothing they could do about it nor remove it from my tab. They didn’t even offer another item. Poor customer service with horrible management, won’t be returning.
Just finished my dinner here and thought it was great. I got a combo special, which I love that they even have as an option because I like eating different things but often can't order multiple items by myself. I got it with panang curry, pad Thai, Jasmine rice, and crab wontons, and ordered a Thai tea to drink. I'm not a Thai food expert but I've definitely had worse, less proportions, or much more expensive. This was exactly what I was craving and expecting, and very reasonably priced. They do have limited staff, so I could see having to wait longer when it gets busy, but I try to avoid crowds anyway so went right before dinner rush and had fast and attentive service. I would definitely come again!
Delicious, super fast service, and the woman running the front was on top of everything. I wish I lived nearby, I’d come back all the time.
This place is amazing. Tried all the local Thai places in the area. This is the one I will keep coming back to.
I got the broccoli delight 4 stars and gluten free (celiac), they got it perfect the best I've had! They did good making it gluten free since I've had no reaction, chicken so tender I can cut it with a plastic fork, and the spice level is great I probably should've ordered 3 stars but it's a very flavorful spice so amazing.
Favorite place on the hill to get Thai. Taken family and the girlfriend here and everyone agrees. Best I've had since my favorite little hole in the wall up in Seattle.
Nice place and excellent service serving Thai dishes. It is located in a good spot were you can go shopping as well. Highly recommend this place. We will be back and eat here again.
The place is in a shopping center that is easy to find. Generous portion and very tasty dishes.
This is a quaint little family business, fabulous service, amazing food! Beat Thai food I’ve had in forever!! Quiet location off busy Meridian! I can’t wait to bring my hubby there!!
This is the best Thai restaurant in this area! The pad thai is so good and the staff is friendly. The online ordering is so convenient, I always order to go since I live nearby and I havent been disappointed. Give it a try!
The food is great and so is the service!
Good food. Good service
I give the potstickers 5 stars, everything else was subpar when it comes to thai food. I would come back just for the pot stickers though. ☺
The food sent me to the hospital, would recommend
I have ordered here a couple of times now and every time I order, my food comes out differently. Sometimes it’s flavorful, sometimes it’s a small portion, and sometimes is mushy… phad Thai was super mushy like mash potatoes this time around. There is no consistency.
I must say that I was Charmed by Charm Thai! The food is the best Thai food that I had ever tasted!!
Best Thai food I have had in Washington! My favorite is the Phad Thai and all of their fried rice options. Highly recommend!
Fantastic lunch and good service for my family this past Saturday.
Food was dry and lacked flavor. Just mushy noodles. egg rolls not authentic just soggy grease
Great, The staff is very consistent and considered. I had order and they forgot part of the order. And I was allowed to return days after with the receipt and pick up the right order with a lower price. Thank you Charm Thai Cuisine. My favorite place.
The food was absolutely amazing. I'll be back.
I love, love, love the mild massamun Curry with potatoes, carrots, onions, broccoli, nuts and Jasmine Rice! So delicious 😋 Also Vegan! Great customer service!
Food was excellent and the young lady at the front is very nice and friendly. Reasonable prices.
Currys like no other place … rare menu finds for real Thai fans !!! ❤️
Had a fantastic meal. The crab wontons were amazing.
We ordered w noodle dishes, both at 2 star and the pad see ew was definitely hotter than the pad Thai, but both were yummy!
Only downfall was that they sat us right next to the door, so it was very cold with the door being opened so much. Needed to bring a jacket in with us!!!
Ordered some Pad See Ewe and coconut prawns for lunch... Super fresh! The chicken was sliced razor-thin and cooked to perfection with a healthy serving of broccoli atop a monsterous pile of noodles. I always get "no stars" and found this didn't lack any flavor or enjoyment without the spice.
Fresh ingredients. Taste great always. Love going here.
Not actually open. :(
