Thai eatery serving curries, pad Thai & other favorites in a comfy space with monthly specials.
Not bad, my mom and I went in around Christmas time. It was fine
This is my favorite Thai food in the greater Seattle Metro Area. Even though I live in Tacoma now, I still stop here whenever I can!

Food came out really quick, people are nice, good was amazing.
Great food, good prices, friendly staff. Parking lot full @ times but worth it.
Always great food here but itโs slightly more expensive than i like
All the food was exceptional
One of my favorite Thai places now that Yup Tim Thai closed down. A little pricey but the food is great so I don't mind too much. Haven't eaten dine in, usually just do take out. Highly recommend the pineapple curry.
They have real authentic Thai food that taste yummy. Though the place might not look great from outside, food is really tasty.
Great food! Fast, friendly service.
The elephant paintings on the wall are weird. Do those elephants actually want to paint?
Good, unpretentious, comfortable restaurant very close to the Mt. Baker light rail station. I appreciated that they had a few kids toys and books. My kids enjoyed the pad see ew. I had the salmon panang as well, which was a touch sweet for my taste but not bad. I appreciated that both dishes were served with good amounts of broccoli!
I absolutely love their food. I've been ordering food from them for years.
The food is good, but they charged automatically 15% for tips.
Very tasty, quick, but expensive. Excellent take out spot!
The service is really fast, the food is good, and the lunch combos are a good price for the area.
This place is our go to Thai place, cannot recommend enough!!!
A friend of mine used to work at this restaurant and she said This restaurant in the kitchen is full of cockroaches and mice.
๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ We should not support this place
Very good Thai Place. I really enjoyed the lunch menu for affordable 13,5 dollars.
Best Thai food in the CD by far
Super friendly and helpful service, food was fresh and delicious.
Highly recommend the beef salad spicy level 1, and the Pad See Ewe with beef spicy level 2.
Probably the best Pad Thai I've had in years. A simple recipe yet everyone has their own version. Regardless, I'll be back to sample more on their menu.
Really cute and cozy little Thai place. I got the mango sticky rice special, which was about 2x the amount you usually get in an order at other restaurants.
I placed an involved order for 12 people with appetizers and many dishes via phone. They fulfilled the order in 20 minutes and got everything correct. It was so efficient, the food was delicious and I was impressed that everything was correct when it could have easily gone a little awry with such a complicated order. Thank you!
Immaculate food, amazing portion sizes for cost. Staff was super friendly and service was amazingly quick. 10/10, absolutely recommend for anyone in the area.
Absolutely amazing food they missed my coke though.
We visited with Amal from DangerousThings and it is a very nice hole in the wall kinda place with amazing Thai food. Everything tasted amazing and we had a great time :)
The food was oki but when we got the receipt the servers tipped herself which was weird because it was just normal. Order the food and go nothing much.
Very nice little Thai restaurant that does both takeout and pleasant indoor seating option. Everything we had was fresh, tasty, and spicy. Highly recommended.
Delicious food with friendly staff
Service was quick. Food plentiful. Tasted okay.
Really liked my yellow curry; it was a little thicker than the curry Iโve had at some places which I really appreciated. Also enjoyed the Thai iced tea. The decor had some nice touches (including the bathroom!). Definitely worth checking out.
DO NOT go to this place!! The price is significantly higher than what is shown on the menu, and on top of rhat they charge you a tip without asking or warning you!!!
Solid Thai food.
The spring rolls had no flavor other than the taste of rancid oil. They over did it on the sauce for the Pad Thai. Not happy with this purchase.
Their Thai tea and Tom yum is to die for! Itโs the best Iโve tried so far. Itโs the most authentic Thai and Tom yum Iโve had which is hard to find in seattle. Iโve definitely found my go to for thai :)
Our favorite takeout place in the neighborhood! They have reopened for dine-in too, I believe. Always fresh and delicious. We especially love their Penang curry :)
Great neighborhood spot for takeout! The Tom kha is perfect and their noodle dishes are great too. Also important, consistent quality!
Ordered fried rice. Should have had veg. Mentioned that twice. Only beef and rice. Called them. Did not care. Place is dirty. Good food. ppl never smile.59 later for soup n fried rice. Do No Go There!!!
I remember coming here before the pandemic and the food was tasting better. I came back to try the lunch combo and was left feeling disappointed. The meal looked more appetizing than it actually was. The flavor was just lacking. The Pad Thai came out sort of mushy and I could taste a lot of ketchup in the sauce. The curry didn't taste like anything special. Maybe it was too diluted with coconut milk.
They are open for dine-in but we were automatically charged 20% for tip. Not sure if that is an new policy but they didn't even notify us.
Maybe I came on an off day but I'm hoping I will have a better experience next time since this is one of the only Thai restaurants on Rainier.
The food is good but the service was not. After I received my food no one came back to check on me or to offer more drink. I went up to the counter to pay my tab.
Great Thai food. Yellow curry and crispy shrimp were very good.
Good food! But sometimes a little to sweet.
Good food! Crab delight was one of the best I've had.
Food is decent but not spectacular. Little bland.
I'd been wanting to go here for a while now since my stylist works next door. I always see constant patrons sitting or getting to-go. This is a LEGIT hole-in-the-wall delicious, authentic spot. The spices are for real (scale of 0-4) so be careful.
Love this place. I order from here once a week. Highly recommend the yellow curry tofu and pad kee mao tofu. Quality is always on point. Basil fried rice is also nice. I love spicy food and I usually go medium with this one - the heat is legit! :)
It was alright. My Pad Thai was a little dry.
They have a lot of things on the menu, but a lot of the background items seem to be put there to fill the menu, even though they arenโt as good. the calamari for example was quite slimey
It was a bit busy when i got there. Staff were friendly and nice. And the reason why i had to deduct a star is because the food tasted different from the last time we ate there. There was something in the taste that didn't sit well with me. The cucumber they put on our Chicken Fried Rice tasted so bad we had to throw it out. My Pad Thai had a weird taste i can't explain. It's definitely not an ingredient usual to a Pad Thai recipe. We love going here since it's close by but lately, their quality is declining. We'll try it again next time and hopefully it'll be better then.
Good food, sadly they were out of what I wanted so I had to make a quick choice of something else. Went with the cashew chicken and it was delicious.
The best Thai food Iโve had!
The noodles are the most flavorful and authentic dishes anyone could ever eat, and it's also not too oily. So many people order for takeout it's overwhelming.
Pretty good Thai food for the price. Iโve compared similar restaurants (like those in Capitol Hill) and this one has better taste overall.
Only docked off one star for the location but overall the restaurant itself is really good. Try the Pad Thai noodles!
This is my favorite thai restaurant. Their food is delicious and tastier than other thai restaurants. Make sure to try their food!! You're missing out.
Great fresh vegetables. Fast, and accurate.
fast and friendly service, and both the pad kee mao and pad thai were delicious and very flavorful with huge portion sizes! would highly recommend this little neighborhood hole in the wall ๐งก
Just do it. It's good and not expensive
This is that hole in the wall gem of a restaurant. I became obsessed with the Siam Eggplant and I had never been a huge fan of eggplant before. I'm so glad I ordered outside my usual need for a Thai noodle fix. Haven't had a dish I didn't love here.
Great food and looks like they have fixed the issue of not being getting able to get through for takeout!
Love the food, but the constant inaccuracy of carry out timing is ridiculous. Be prepared to wait twice as long as they tell you..like 40 plus minutes when they promise 20. Not an exaggeration. And there is never an apology for wasting your time.
Extremely friendly service. Food is excellent. Iโve tried other Thai places but Thai Recipe is the best. Highly recommend
Best tofu pad kee mao in seattle!
Consistently delicious โค
Delicious pad kee mao tofu and yellow curry!
Friendliest people ever and amazing food.
Excellent Thai Food! Fast, yummy and friendly staff. Food was ordered and I picked up 15 minutes later. Fast, tasty and great service. Lots of great selections to choose from
Wonderful food and service! Highly recommended! We are new to the neighborhood and will definitely be back!
I love this spot for lunch I come from West Seattle to eat here two or three times a month.
Great Beef Fried Rice!!!
Three words Dee lish us!
Friendly, but not outstanding
Not very good compared to other Thai restaurants and seem to charge higher than the good ones
We live right near by and it has become our go-to takeout restaurant. The portion size is generous and the food is delicious. I can't recommend the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew enough! We normally get takeout but the inside seating is nice as well. I am not sure what their covid protocols in dining are at this time though.
Authentic and very tasty
Love this spot! The subtle but flavorful pud woon sen was very satisfying, and the curries are above average. We branched out and went for lad nah, which we will probably skip next time, as the gravy was a greasy, gelatinous texture. Overall, soooo gooood. The tofu cubes are large and crispy. Excellent ~
Kitchen dirty...oil dropping from the hood
In to saucepan disgusting I told one of the ladies one time to clean all the grease from the kitchen walls and grill I all ways lock at restaurant kitchen how clean they are this restaurant it's dirty
This is our second favorite Thai spot in Seattle. It's our go-to in the south. Break out of your typical pad thai or curry dish you always order and try the lad nah. It's the wide noodles in a sweet and tangy brown thai gravy with veggies--so delicious!
We picked up dinner here after a long hike. The service was excellent and the staff was super friendly. They clearly spend a lot of focus both on the big picture in addition to the details. They checked and double-checked our order to ensure we left with what we ordered. I appreciated that level of service. Five stars!
pineapple and prawn curry slaps
I love the food here. You can't dine-in but you can call then pick-up your food inside. No curbside service provided.
Run donโt walk- one of the best curry spots in town!
Cashew chicken is delicious!
Great food!!
Food is great!
Craved Thai food in Rainier Ave and found this one close to my place. Over the phone service was great. When I walked in to pick up my food since it was to go, paid and right before I left, I opened the bag to make sure I had all what I needed (utensils and sauces) to eat the Phai Thai & crispy prawn and glad I checked because there was none in there.I asked the person at the reception for what I was missing. He flipped on and said said I โcan only do one thing at a time, just wait. I patiently waited and told him to take his time. When he brought everything I said thank you but you know we donโt have to be rude and I just asked for the things that I need to eat food with. He stared at me for seconds and started screaming what did I do what ya?! What away start enjoying my meal. Customer service doesnโt matter 100% at restaurants. Doesnโt matter how good the food is if the service is terrible I am sorry I am out!
So delicious. I ordered 3 different lunch combinations today, and all tasted so amazing. I would highly recommend.
One of the two cooks when I came in to pick my order up this afternoon is not wearing a face mask while preparing orders, person bagging the food and running the register is wearing her face mask over her chin.
You had better microwave your food before you eat it if you order from here right now.
They do everything that I'm looking for in Thai. Cheaper than anywhere else left in town, and good food.
Truly delicious food! Very satisfying assortment of options. Nice and spicy! Sometimes there's a wait but it's worth it! Super friendly folks working there. I highly recommend you try this place!
We always get take out here. I love the panang curry. Quick turnaround on orders, and the food is good.
I don't usually write reviews, but FYI beware when you order here because I was overcharged! I ordered a CK pad thai, beef panang curry, and a rice which didn't come w/ the curry :l. She ended up charging me $30 while they are 11.5 +12.5+1.75 = $25.75 before tax. With tax it's about $28.35. I asked her and she told me as if I was wrong! BTW, I thought it's just ~ $2, so I didn't want to argue more as she had charged me already.
For food, the curry is overwhelmed with coconut cream. Ck pad thai contains mainly noodles and the ck is tough and dry. Won't go back! Food isn't that good as other reviews.
Entre had a weird smell like wet dumpster. soup was decent with good fried tofu but that didn't make up for the former, not to mention the calamari lacked flavor and had a... Rubber mouth-feel
Love this place. Has been my neighborhood go to when I donโt want to make dinner for years.
Nice neighborhood restaurant with good Thai food. We often get take out here.
Best Thai in town! Crunchy fresh vegetables, great noodle dishes and curries. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.
Yummy
Delicious food and reasonable prices. Everything spelled and explained correctly on a very professional looking menu too!
un lugar bien tranquilo para comer
Consistently good Thai food. If you need a filling lunch and you are in the mount baker area, I definitely recommend this place. They can get crowded at lunch so if you are short on time, you can always call your order in ahead of time for takeout. The soup that comes before the meal is pretty weak but the food is good. I love the green curry.
Food is great. Service is outstanding. We will return again.
My go to place.
This is really good Thai food. You would not expect it from the location or strange name, but it is amazing food at a great price. Haven't had anything on the menu I didn't like.
Good food and ambient. Small parking lot
Great restaurant
Long wait for take out.
I waited 45 minutes for pad Thai. After 25 minutes I checked on my order progress. I was rudely dismissed as the woman behind the register barked that my food wasn't ready. When I finally got my food, it was okay, but a bit sweeter than I'm used to.
Worst Thai food Iโve ever had I gave this place more than one chance and itโs awful. The pad Thai is very sweet and red in color which is an indication they took a short cut in making the sauce. They served me raw eggplant and over cooked shrimp. The soup had NO flavor absolutely disgusting food.
Delicious. reasonably priced Thai food. Service is prompt and take out is also a fine option. Love the Pad Kee Mau as well as Red curry and Thai Fried rice.
Amazing food! Great service as well.
Tastes like the foods at any other Thai restaurants. I had the noodles drenched in oily peanut sauce. It was an oddly combination but the other foods are good.
Surprisingly empty for a Saturday night in such a great place. Food was great.
Absolutely love this place. The food was very delicious and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I had the pad kee mao and my husband had the curry tofu. I really like that they get a excellent on their health rating. A big plus for everything being affordable.
Good food, gracious service
