The restaurant name “sabbverr” has a powerful meaning. “sabb” in Thai means delicious. “Verr” in Thai means over the top. Together, “sabbverr” means “Overly Delicious”

We have been coming to this restaurant with my wife for a while now, and we love the food here; it’s delicious! All the guys and girls who serve us are super nice, and the food service is quite fast without sacrificing quality. The atmosphere is very pleasant—quiet during the day, and on weekend nights, they have live music! We love this place.
Another authentic Thai food in town. The decor and the live band almost brought us back to Thailand 😂.
A solid 4.5 out of 5 for the food. The glass noodle salad was SO good but so spicy. They have live band performance on Friday / Saturday nights. Lovely but a bit too loud - we had to shout to each other.
Pro tip: this place is real Thai spicy level. Ask for medium or mild even if you think you can handle spicy food
Have never seen this small portion from any Thai food restaurants before!!!! Impressive! For just $16, I received a culinary masterpiece—a bowl of rice. The pork? A generous 10 pieces, fingernail sized! And the cucumbers are BITTER!!!!!
Thought it was just that dish, but nope! The boat beef noodles came with 2 meatballs and 7 slices of beef. Never coming back!
And as if that wasn’t enough, the ‘beef curry’ surprised me with 5 whole pieces of beef!!! And, wait for it… not like other Thai places, NO rice!!!
This place really ticked all the boxes! The food was delicious, the space was fun and vibrant, the service was attentive and sincere. Msu, the manager was the perfect host and took time to interact with every table while keeping their team on task. In the weekends they have live music and during the week the stage makes the perfect photo op for commemorating any event. Seriously a must try if you’re in this part of Seattle.
Best thai food in Fremont 😍
This place looks amazing inside, I feel like I am at a bar in Thailand! The basil lava fried rice with chicken is quite possibly THE BEST thing I have ever eaten, EVER. It is the perfect dish!
Extremely rude staff they hit me with the door and didn't even apologize
Great Food! Love the mushroom curry!
A pleasant surprise! I got the duck red curry which was delicious. I went on a Friday, and around 8pm there was live music
Sooo tasty, will order more next time! Fast service! Got one of every happy hour thing which was my self care treat day. Safe space I was told!
Fast service and friendly staff! Will have to get pics next time, since it was so vibey like a nightclub!
Hmmm this place is aggressively okay. I’ve gotten takeout from here a few times before. Today, my pad keeps mao came covered in a bunch of random leaves and herbs (not Thai basil, but I swear one was thyme or sage). In the past I’ve e paid for extra protein, and received many 1.2x the normal amount.
Place looks cool and staff were very nice
I got Pad Khi Mao with chicken and honestly it's just ok :( the noodles are so white, I almost thought they forgot to add the sauce when cooking. Definitely way less flavorful than other Thai restaurants in this area
A bit of a tacky interior. Food price to quality is not good. You should go to kin len instead
This place was recommended by another Thai local and the flavors did not disappoint! We liked all the dishes we ordered (papaya salad, kaeng som, kaprow, larb) and the portions were much larger than expected. The best part was the service experience - we had Khun It that day and she went and above with recommendations and all of our requests.
The indoor atmosphere was a little too dark/somber for my taste but her outstanding service made up for it.
Very disappointed. The fish was served with scales still on, and the prawns in the salad were not suitable for raw consumption. The food quality was poor, especially given the price.
I love that place

Was seated there and waited for over 20 minutes for service, someone came and said one second then never came back. Worst service ever.

I heard good things about this spot since the renovation. Also heard the spice level was strong and I’ve been dying to find actual spicy Thai food in Seattle recently.
I always test the waters on a new spot with Pad Thai. If you can’t do that right then I don’t see any reason to come back. Got the 4/5 spice level just in case. Take out. My first impression was that it was very dry. Barely if any sauce at all. Plastic container of red pepper flakes, peanuts and…sugar?!? Ok.
Spice was non-existent. Not even the slightest bit of heat. For 4/5 stars I at least expect a little burn. Seattle spice standards or not. Noodles tasted as dry as they looked. Good char on the chicken but otherwise that’s about it. Charred noodles was basically the flavor profile here.
All this and I paid $20 for the Pad Thai Boran which I guess has a banana blossom? No banana blossom in my order. Just a banana leaf at the bottom which calls for the higher price tag, I suppose.
Really wanted to like this place but can’t see myself going back based on this order.
The pros:
The food was delicious and pretty well priced. We had a group of 5 adults and 1 child, and even with some alcohol the bill wasn't too bad. The service was great. There was live music, and the performers and the music they chose were amazing. Really made the experience so much fun.
The cons:
It was very hot and uncomfortable. When we called to make the reservation, we asked about AC and were told the restaurant had AC. When we were there, it either wasn't on or there really isn't any. Probably wouldn't come back on another hot day.
Food was very good
The short ribs were extremely dry, the crab rangoon had too much cream cheese and not a hint of crab, crispy garlic chicken was also dry and looked like it was sitting under a lamp and chicken panang (We didn’t even try it)
The best part about this place is the Thai Iced tea which is sad.

Got the Pad Thai, the pork was dry and the spice level was non existent even though I asked for a 3/5 spice level.
Delicious food, creative atmosphere, prompt service. Enjoyed it
Fun presentation of food, delicious and great service!
Wow it was so good. Super cheap happy hour, great service and atmosphere!!
Fantastic all around!!!
Delicious fried rice

Absolutely phenomenal!
Pro Tip: level 5 spicy is only for experienced Thai food connoisseurs. But the spice does not overtake the great flavors.
Great atmosphere with live music on the weekends. Best sum tum variety with many possible combinations sure to please.
The drinks are fun and just the right amount of alcohol. We will be back for more.
Great food and the locale was very well decorated. The the food was great too!
I loved this Thai restaurant, & definitely recommend it!!
The lunch special included some pad Thai & Panang curry so you can enjoy the best of both! I especially enjoyed the Panang, it was so delicious!! My husband had the green curry & also thought it was great!
Super attentive & pleasant staff, water always refilled.
A more modern Thai place w/pop music (didn’t seem too loud, just background music) & cute atmosphere with fun decor and pops of bright colors.
My drink, “beachy breeze”, was BEAUTIFUL and even had a glowing light under the cup for extra flare. It tasted as great as it looked!
In a cute neighborhood, near the Fremont Troll under the bridge.
Food is fresh, absolutely delicious, and served in large portions. The happy hour appetizer options are wonderful if you want a variety. Our server was very nice and attentive. Definitely will be back!
Authentic Thai & Lao with a fun take on street food favs & a legit heat scale! Open late often with live music. The Pandan soda is amazing.
So excited for this place. The rice was mushy which was a bummer. Maybe it was just our plates.
People inside were friendly and the place looked cool.
Hands down best Thai place in town!! Their banana leaf pad Thai shows up in my dreams. Food always has fresh and high quality ingredients, great taste and very reasonable wait times. Happy hour drink prices here are unbeatable - $6 cocktails!!
Exceptionally gorgeous place with a good food and pretty fun cocktail presentations across the board.
5 stars. Friendly staff, awesome ambience, and amazing Thai food!
Ordered my first delivery, the food is good but the portion is very small compared to other Thai restaurants. A little disappointing!
If I could rate this spot 10/10 I would!! Food, customer service, drinks, and even the bathroom was all perf!
The deep fried fish with soup is a must order!!! And their pad Thai is the best one I’ve had in my life! This place did not disappoint. I can’t wait to go back! In was the best waitress ever! :)
The loud modern hip-hop music made the whole experience unpleasant.
Edit Dec '23: I'm so disappointed in the quality of food and drink since switching names. The curry is separated, chunky, and almost gray. Almost no flavor :(( Half the veggies are completely steamed mush while the other half are almost raw in the same dish.. can't believe this was $20 for some unseasoned white rice and gray food.. I really can't believe this is the same place that was so SO good just a couple months ago. But hey. At least they have pretty lights in the bathroom hallway once you get beyond all the bus stop patrons. (Jk they're so not worth the loss of great food)
The eggplant in the green curry makes me feel like my life is complete
Very inviting and great tasting food along with great customer service
Delicious yellow curry!
5 Big Fat Stars from us 🇨🇦. Zabbverr !!!
My husband and I are from Vancouver, BC.
Been trying to make time to try this restaurant when we visit Seattle. We finally did it. If you like authentic thai-Esarn food, you must stop here. You will not be disappointed.
All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The flavour was very yummy, authentic to Thailand taste. They specialize in the cuisine of Northeastern Thailand (E-SARN).
We wanted to try everthing on the menu, it all looked so mouth watering good. What we ordered was:
Kor Moo Yang คอหมูย่าง
Grilled Pork Jowl with Esarn dipping sauce (Jaewsauce) cooked to melt in your mouth perfection. We lovvvvvvved it very much. DELISH!!! Don't forget to order sticky rice to eat with it.
Grilled Chicken Liver ตับไก่ย่างเสียบไม้ with Esarn dipping sauce. Perfectly grilled with creamy texture and taste great. It was grilled just like skewers of Thai street food.
Nam Kow Tod แหนมข้าวทอด
Marinated minced pork with Crispy rice salad with thai herbs and spice, this dish is a favorite that I have every time I go to thailand and it tasted just as good.
Simmer Beef Noodle Hot Pot ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเนื้อตุ๋นหม้อไฟ very flavourful rice noodle soup with lots of beef also meat balls and liver...bean sprouts and morning glory vegetable... It came with the candle under the pot to keep the soup hot.
Family owned, great host, friendly staff and excellent service.
Special thanks to Moo and Inn for taking care of us.
We will most definitely come back to Zabbverr again. Thank you / Kob khun Ka.
Everything was delicious, the place is nice and the service excellent 👌
Todo estuvo delicioso, el ambiente es agradable y el servicio exelente 👌
Tasty food.
This restaurant has authentic Thai food. The food was tasty and delicious, smaller portions. Typical price for the Seattle area. Newly renovated interior design. Staff were nice and friendly. Good tastings drinks.
Authentic Thai food and service with a smile. We were visiting Seattle from Los Angeles and thoroughly enjoyed it. Live music at night, great ambiance, and we’ll definitely return when in Seattle.
It was amazing and they made sure and reassured me about allergies
Very good food especially the green curry.
I was excited when the restaurant opened back up after renovations for the green curry I'm obsessed with but was very disappointed - the curry was barely coming together from being so watery and the roasted veggies I've cooked to love were mostly steamed. The spice level changed, I think bc the curry is being large batch cooked or something in the recipes had changed. Not sure. I usually only come for the curry so I was really sad when it changed after the renovation.
Delicious Thai food. They do it, and they do it right.
I do wish there were more gluten free options so I could invite more friends here. But for when I'm on my own or with other gluten-tolerant people, it's a go-to.
Atmosphere and aesthetics top-notch as well.
Delicious food, great service, amazing place. Would recommend to everyone!
Great place and service. I can't wait to go back.
I'm not sure how this place is still in business. Not a single time we go there and have no issues.
They close 30 minutes prior their closing time for dine-in.
They don't serve cocktails during weekdays.
They mess up the orders.
No music.
Always empty.
This place has a lot of potential, but it's just so inconsistent.
Wonderful authentic Thai food, and amazing service. The waitresses were so kind, attentive, and thoughtful and the food absolutely delicious.
Best Thai food in town ! Food was so good and good service. Will be back again
The food was just ok, not bad but nothing to make me come back. Pad Thai was a generous portion but not spicy enough and lacking flavor. The spring rolls were nice crunchy and hot but lacking flavor again. There’s tons of Thai spots in this city that are better, this one is forgettable
I got an appetizer, spring rolls, the order came with 4ct × 4 in long w/ a DELICIOUS DIPPING SAUCE for $8. They were so small that there was not a lot of stuffing in them but they were good still.
The best Thai food I’ve ever had! The Thai tea is amazing as well 😍
One of the best Thai restaurants in Seattle. Food is always top notch. Their duck curry is so good, I get cravings for it all the time
Great tasting, flavorful food, great portion sizing, and even better customer service. After I ordered a to-go menu item "Vegan" , the chef recognized that they used fish sauce in the particular dish and were unable to make it Vegan, and were kind enough to call me back and explain, as well as patient while I chose another dish they could assure was vegan. I always appreciate good communication and customer service like this, I'll be coming back soon!
I Highly recommend the Eggplant!
Crispy cashew nut chicken isn’t coated or crispy and doesn’t taste of anything. 😞
Got their lunch special here (pad that and cashew chicken). rice was soggy, the meat in the pad Thai was overly salty, the whole meal was very salty but with very little flavor to compensate. overall tasted flat, loaded with sauce and greasy, there are much better Thai places in seattle. will not be coming here again.
Great service and atmosphere. Quite, not too crowded and kid friendly. There are other Thai restaurants nearby and I’ve tried all of them and this is still my go to place because of the reasons above. Food is good as well.
The curry is really good.
We found some dishes to be amazing while no so much. The staff is very polite.
Great Thai restaurant. Feels like a stepping back into the 80 but in a good way. Food is delicious and reasonably priced and servers are always nice
Loved the spice level 4
The food came quickly. The ambience is nice and the interior is very tastefully decorated. The portions are on the smaller side. It could be because we went for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu.
Good quality and fair lunch prices. The panang curry was delightful.
Had an amazing experience. Great service, amazing food!
Yummy
Delicious thai food. Ordinary pad thai that was a bit too sweet. The kao soi was yummy. Nothing stellar, it fits the bill of what thai food should be
Crispy cashew chicken and duck curry w/Jasmine rice was delicious. 11 tiger shot was wiiiiiild! Great service, great good, great cocktails, great atmosphere!
My husband and I ordered takeout here last night and were very happy with our food. The Pad Kee Mao was delicious, the noodles were like butter and melt in your mouth! Fast service - it was ready in just 10 minutes.
I’ll definitely come back again for a sit down meal and get the full experience.
Super good Khao Soi, the best I’ve had in a while. Very rich and layered with spice. Also ordered pad see yew with tofu which was light and tasty.
Good fremont thai food, a bit more expensive than some other local spots
Love the food and the cocktails. Prices are very liberal. They do struggle to get enough staff tho, but these who work do try hard to provide good service
The pineapple fried rice is really good here!
Delish
Awesome Thai food!
Other reviews just don’t do justice to this place. Great place!!
Been going here for years. Prik king moo grob is my fave! Always friendly and great service from staff every visit. Some of the best Thai in town!
Great food, amazing service. The staff members were very friendly and attentive, checking up on us every 10 or so minutes. (slow night though).
I highly recommend the moo ping - grilled fatty pork skewers. Absolutely tender and juicy, with great flavor. (the staff also recommends this)
The duck curry was great as well. It had a variety of fruits and vegetables I was not expecting, but they worked well together, providing a very unique experience.
Beautiful decor. The food is wonderfully delicious. You want your palette fulfilled, go have a meal here.
This place is tucked in a corner. Went in to pick up my order but the ambiance pleasantly surprised me. Ordered Massaman curry with brown rice and it was yum. Although the quantity is less than expected, I guess it’s good for the price.
Would definitely go back in to dine in and update on the experience.
Friendly server, a lot of Dungeness crab dishes
Great Pad Thai here! I moved away from the neighborhood and make the trip back to Zapverr frequently for it.
Great place. Great prices. Recommend this restaurant!!!
Great food. Nice interior. Very good service.
Suprised this place ain't poppin out with hella customers - was a good spot with good food at good prices
Very fair. So much better Thai in Seattle. The noodles were quite bland and the veggies on the soggy side.
Ordered online, showed up when it was marked ready, wasn't ready. They said 10 minutes, waited 10 minutes, wasn't ready. Got the food and it was decent. Staffs good but they need to figure something out
We got to the area pretty late at night. They were nice enough to let us dine at 9:30 when closing at 10. Kess was our waitress and she is super lovely. The food was amazing and their lychee ginger cocktail was so tasty! She made is absolutely perfect. She was welcoming and had great customer service. Will be come back again.
Our server was amazing, bubbly, knowledgeable and wonderfully helpful
Amazing waaay-nicer-than-your-average-thai-joint service, delicious food, upscale ambiance, and reasonable prices. Safe spacious dine-in options are now available, but calling them directly ahead of time and picking up take-out seems to still be very popular (although you miss out on the great service and presentation of dishes). Delightfully modern yet maintains traditional vibes, I'm happy to report another hidden gem in the heart of Fremont. 💗 I’ve been back already! This second visit was all about their curry dishes (photos below)! And one thing no one has mentioned is their traditional jasmine green teas offered... the fragrance alone is intoxicating, I wish I could wear it as perfume, lol.
This is one of my favorite Fremont lunch spots! Their food is amazing & they have a great $10 lunch special for all of their dinner entrees. I highly recommend (:
Great service and great food
Their weekday lunch special is amazing, pad Thai with half an entree for around $9. Very large portions and they are very nice. Spice level is on point, I like it spicy and they make it spicy! Chicken Green curry with pad Thai lunch special is my go-to.
