Thai food in Seattle has never been more exciting or delicious and there's a reason. Come in and find out!
Ordered the Crispy & BBQ Pork and the Pad Thai for dinner. Both were flavorful and good. I would say my Pad Thai was on the sweet side and I wish it was served with an extra lime slice. The Pork dish was really good just I would recommend ordering the red sauce on the side since it was a lot of sauce. The spices that they used on the pork was very good. Love the layout of the restaurant it’s comfortable and they had Harry Potter themed decor up. Which brought back good memories of being a kid.
The Restaurant was clean and the wait staff was friendly. We arrived right before the dinner rush on New Years Eve 2024. The food was fresh and delicious, flavorful and hot. We shared crispy deep fried bbq pork with egg noodles and baby boo choy, chicken pad Thai level 3 was pretty spicy but perfect, bbq deep fried ribs, and chicken wings. I love that none of the food was breaded! So yummy! Also- they have a “robot” the delivers the food to you and talks! There are also many more menu options.
Went to Seattle just to go here! Saw an insta reel about this place and made the trip down for dinner. WORTH the trip!
The food was amazing in both taste and quality. Generous servings as well. However, I ordered a level 5 spice for my dish, and I didn't find it spicy at all.
We went on a Saturday, and there were probably 7 birthdays. Each one is celebrated with an announcement, and half the wait staff come and dance to happy birthday being played over the main system. They shake signs. They surround your table. In January at -1, staff were outside shaking a sign on the other side of the window. Customer service here is amazing! They have a helper robot that delivers food to your table. The eclectic decore inside is really neat, too.
If you're in Seattle- this is a MUST TRY!
You won't be disappointed. 😎😎😎
Good thai food, very pricey. The garlic chicken is okay but it does not come close to Buddha Ruksa or Krungthep. The Massaman curry is good a bit sweet but very good. The highlight is as the ginger rice, it was so goof!It is all good just not worth finding parking and the price. They also played the entire Cher Christmas album in order while I was there which was super weird. I also wish they had better chili sauce options. Many Thai places usually have a quartet of sauce options with paste, oil, flake, and chili fish. But here it was a small togo container of sambal olek. The bathroom was also very far from the restaurant so just keep that in mind. They don’t have wifi and when I asked for the password they told me no.
Absolutely love the Thai food here. Especially the venue it's a really nice very well decorated. I came here for a work event with a large number of colleagues about 16 of us were able to sit in the back. The Simpsons really good and the food selection was great and it will really open to any customizations.
Highly recommend this place for casual dining corporate dining or even for dates.
They messed up the spice level of one dish, and added calamari to one dish (not listed on the menu) so we ended up not being to eat either dish.
When we walked in, the place was packed and full of energy. If you like a lively atmosphere and being rushed through your meal, this is the spot for you. The service was efficient—almost too efficient. After telling the server multiple times that we needed more time, we finally placed our order. I just hate being pressured to decide within two minutes of sitting down.
We ordered four dishes to share, but honestly, it doesn’t even matter what they were because everything was bland. The biggest red flag? Our food came out within three minutes. There’s just no way it was freshly made. It felt like they had a massive batch of pre-made food sitting in the back, and they just scooped portions onto plates. To top it off, a gimmicky robot delivered our food, which was more entertaining than the meal itself. Cool for Instagram, I guess, but I’d rather have fresh, flavorful food over a flashy delivery system.
I was surprised to see so many great reviews after my visit. The only explanation? People must be drawn in by the fun vibe, gimmicky drinks, and yes—the robot server. If that’s what you’re after, maybe you’ll enjoy it. But if you care about fresh, made-to-order Thai food, there are way better options in the area. I’ll pass.
i’m really gonna need yall to be serious with yourselves for a second. this place sucks. the birthday shoutouts they do are extremely loud and obnoxious, and the food is overpriced for tiny little portions, we’re tired
Lots of choices, everything was tasty and delicious. Servers very courteous. At times, orders are delivered via robotic rolling tray.

Bai Tong offers a fun eating experience that you can't get anywhere else! Right now they have a Harry Potter theme and everything was just so creative and fun!
I got their Pad Thai which was super delicious. Even though the parking is quite bad in this area, you can't really complain because you're in Cap Hill.
This would be my go to Thai restaurant if I lived closer!
Definitely come here for a good time, or for lunch because their happy hour is AMAZING!
First time to the Bai Tong Street Cafe and it did impress me like the other locations. The food, ambience and service was great. Likes the Robotic food delivery, impressed. My friend ordered curry pod with meat and he loved it. Mango cocktail was good too. Will definitely go again.
Excellent food. Excellent Service. I had vegeterian food and it was Amazing. Dessert was the best part.
The food is not authentic, but the service is even worse. When I call in and ask about the wait situation, the operator was telling me to come in now because they are very busy. When we got in, there were just 2 group of people. Never than this, after 2 hours, no big group showed up when there were full of reserved sign. When we were still having our food, the asian waitress asked us if we want boxes to go while we were just feeding the food to our mouths.

Astri was absolutely amazing! She was super friendly, and recommended great options.
Astri was AHHHHHAZING! She provided such an incredible first experience for us. She was so helpful, patient and went above and beyond. The food was beyond excellent. It just sings on your taste buds! Would highly recommend the pineapple fried rice & Pad Khi Mao. Prefer with extra broccoli! 🥦 excellent. Terrific first experience. Everyone was so incredibly
Friendly and service was fast! Will be coming back! X -Gregory
One of our favorite restaurants, and the first restaurant we brought my wife's friend from Thailand.
We haven't had anything on the menu we didn't enjoy, and we order a lot every time we visit.
No updates... Review stands.
The food is really good and as a Harry Potter fan I loved the ambience and everything.
The service is great.
Came here for the first time today because of the Harry Potter themed drinks and decor. I was blown away by the service and the taste of the food (Vegetable Deluxe with Salmon and Panang curry with chicken). I'm definitely coming back!
Awesome
I had such a great evening at Baitong Thai. The massaman tofu curry was so delicious! I have never had it before and now I’m hooked. Our server, Astri, was amazing and made our evening even better. The wine special was also a nice surprise. Wine and good curry, what’s not to love?
Wonderful padthai, great Harry Potter theme
The Harry Potter drinks are cool
Very fast service every time, and delicious food - I'm a regular
We went out Saturday night for dinner with our family. The food was great and everyone working was very nice and welcoming. Great atmosphere and a interesting cocktail menu, we liked it a lot and will back soon.
oh my gosh; everything about this place is amazing! and the staff really took care of us and our dietary needs. the drinks and decorations were fun. the whole family loves this place now! a new favorite for sure.
I have never had a boring dinner here. The funnest cocktails on Capitol Hill. And a delicious menu that has something for everyone. Highly recommend for groups or if you’re showing folks around town. Truly a unique and delicious experience.
This was our first time, running out for a quick dinner. Astri was phenomenal, we came and got green curry and crab wontons. They were DELISH and came out SO FAST. There was a birthday celebration going on next to us and they went above and beyond for those guests. The ambiance was great, not too loud but there was music playing. Absolutely loved it, we will be back.
This place brings me so much joy! I’ve celebrated a bachelorette party and birthday party here and both times were so fun. Service is excellent and efficient! And the menu is incredible, everything I’ve had is decisions and authentic. Highly recommend.
Super fun and festive, with amazing service and the best pineapple fried rice! Cocktails are so unique and entertaining.
Good thai food, very pricey. The garlic chicken is okay but it does not come close to Buddha Ruksa or Krungthep. The Massaman curry is good a bit sweet but very good. First time I came to this place for my friend's birthday. The food and service were great and everything was good. I recommend it.
22:00 늦게까지 운영하는 식당을 찾다가 방문했어요. 대체로 맛있고 친절해요. 제가 방문했을 땐 해리포터 컨셉의 음료 메뉴가 있어서 신선했어요.
Truly a must-try in Seattle. Came for dinner, and the basil pork belly over rice and panang curry with beef were so tasty. The beef and pork belly were so tender. We highly recommend the drinks we got — the Tamarind Spiced Sour and the seasonal Half Blood Prince drink. But we’ll definitely try more!
Great ambience and service.
Astri was an absolute pleasure! She made the experience so comforting and warm. The food was impeccable! Great presentation.
Delicious food and great service and super fast and reasonably priced! We’ve been 3 times and love it.
Everyone is super sweet and the food is amazing.
great place! will go again!
Baitong Thai in Capital Hill is such a gem of a place. The food is amazing with huge portions. The service is wonderful, everyone is so kind! And the atmosphere is very nice. They even sang to us for our anniversary! Will be coming back again!
This is an absolute favorite spot for me. Going to Capitol Hill? We're eating at Bai Tong Thai! The crispy garlic chicken is incredible. Service is always amazing, friendly, and fast, and if you are celebrating a special event (birthday, anniversary), they make it so special. I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could!!
Couldn’t recommend this place more. Great atmosphere, delicious food, & the staff are so incredibly friendly, kind, & take care of you. I love going here :) The ONLY downside is it’s a bit on the pricey side but honestly worth it to treat yourself to such a great place:)
Bai Tong Tukwila the server walked away as I was ordering. Didn’t ask spice level normally like spicey. Bad service food is ok. I asked another server were she went and she told me she only put in the order for first item. I wanted to order more but she walked away. Just when you think things can’t get worst… After we got the bill mind you we ordered 7 items all together for two people. Once the bill arrived They old man came and asked us to leave there were people that needed our seats. Didn’t ask us for dessert! Super RuDe worst service we paid over $100!!!! Please go across the streets so many Thai restaurants.
Absolutely love the Thai food here. Especially the venue it's a really nice very well decorated. Great location. Fantastic food and fun cocktails. My favorite Bai Tong Location!
Great food and ambiance
This is the best Thai food I ever had. And the service is amazing. I almost forgot they have a robot.
We got in just before happy hour closed at 5. The Pad Thai was delicious and the smaller happy hour size was perfect as I didn’t want or need leftovers. The fresh rolls in a mix of bbq pork and prawns was good. It was good to try something new, I prefer the shrimp ones.
Dependable Thai chain in Seattle. Prices are quite high for what you're getting, but the convenience in Capitol Hill can't be beat. The crab fried rice is great even if you need to pick out a little bit of shell here and there. The panang curry is delicious.
Massaman curry was the most delicious I've ever had.
Always Amazing! This is my favorite spot in ALL of Seattle. It’s my regular spot when I need something yummy or had a very long day at work or special occasion with friends and family! Basil pork belly dishes and the curries are the BEST comfort food. The sizzle plate is a great new addition for this year. The service is always superb. And they always make it fun and inviting. I’ve been coming here for 5+ years, and I’ll never stop!
Best location out of the three in the area. Honestly the Tukwila location is awful. The Redmond/Bellevue one isn't bad and does have parking. But the wait staff at this location are always friendly, the interior is cool and honestly the food always seems better at this one. I've never had to wait for a seat and overall it's just a better experience.
The food is okay for the price. I got the pork and it was way over cooked. Some pieces were hard like chunks of carbon. But the rest was mostly good. The atmosphere has a bit of a cheep feel to it.
Oh my gosh I love Baitong Thai- it’s so fun. The vibes are good, the music is so silly and the food is really good and the drinks are very stylized and delicious. If you are looking for silly fun times this is the place.
Also the inside is really nice and a great place for a date
Nothing overly spectacular. The yellow curry was a little too salty, but the atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty cool. A lot expensive for what it is though.
Great food and the garlic chicken 🔥🔥🔥
Ordered the Crispy & BBQ Pork and the Pad Thai for dinner. Both were flavorful and good. I would say my Pad Thai was on the sweet side and I wish it was served with an extra lime slice. Great prices, great food, and great service!
I ordered take out. Everything was entirely too sweet and not very spicy at all, I got 3&4 spicyness level.
Tom kha soup - loved the little mushrooms and the chicken was cooked well but far to sweet and not tangy at all
Crispy garlic chicken - too much sauce at the bottom of the container so it just make the crisp into soggy. more like sweet chicken, no garlic flavor
Pad kee mao - the meat was cooked to temp and there were plenty of veggies but again also too sweet and not flavorful
Pineapple friend rice - I almost forgot ! It wasn’t flavorful at all :(
Everything was edible but I wouldn’t order delivery again.
I’ve gave bai tong before and wasn’t disappointed but I was very surprised by the flavor of the delivery food.
This was our first time here but the food and service were amazing! Lin was our server and she do a great job providing recommendations for food and would always check to make sure we were not missing anything.
Food is far from authentic thai food and not worth the money at all.
The Harry Potter drinks were amazing!!!
Excellent place, wonderful staff and superb food!
Great service, definitely order the garlic chicken!
Excellent food, we had the Penang Curry and had great spice level. However, it was my birthday, and I was required to show my ID. Ridiculous that I was charged $10 for a fried ice cream bday cake and singing. Our server did not have the courtesy to notify that I was being charged on my birthday. Why should I be forced to show my ID when it’s my birthday and I’m seeing a cake charge at the last minute on the receipt? I expect the manager to look because it is basis courtesy in USA to provide a birthday cake free of charge (or notify if I am about to be charged)
I haven’t had food this good in so long!! Service was quick and recommendation good
Good food and atmosphere, would definitely recommend
The food and service were great! Loved their Pod Thai with shrimp. Super big portions, saved for a second meal. I was very pleased with the service. Didn't have to wait long, each of us could get a separate check. I loved the little robot waiter carrying the plates, so cute. One downside I could name is the bathroom is a little inconvenient to get too, but not terrible, just need to walk a bit and get downstairs.
Great service and environment.
Amazing food and service treated us so nicely!! Really recommend it!!
The food is soooo good! Very traditional. Ten stars if I could
Great food, great dining experience
Quick service, nice smile, attentive water refill without being intrusive
Such a cute place, thank you!
Honestly the food is not good. pork belly is literally cooked using the air fryer and doesn’t not have flavours.
Atmosphere is nice but not recommended.
The food was ideal for me: the Pad Khi Mao wasn’t sweet (yay!), and the Spring Rolls were delightfully crisp. My friend liked her red curry.
Windowed walls, lots of light, very nice staff. Will visit again.
Great pad thai.
Love eating at Bai Tong. Always delicious food and great service.
Very fun, chaotic at times, place with AMAZING food
Delicious food, fast and friendly service! Got pad sei-ew with tofu and green curry with chicken. Would recommend!
Great restaurant with overall great atmosphere.
Great food, quick service. We enjoy the curries the best, got the satay, red curry and Panama. We got spice level two and that was enough for us. They get busy and service time can lag but when they’re at your table, they’re good.
Food was delicious, service was prompt and friendly. They put on a special show for bride to be, made us feel very special.
I came in on Sunday during dinner time for my first time and had a great experience. I ordered the Dungeness Crab fried rice as my main meal which I ended up needing a small box to take home. Then I got the “Young Coconut” for my first drink and a blackberry and peach lemonade for my second and third drink. The presentation of the food was great, the young coconut was served in an actual coconut so that was a delight. And the lemonades were delicious. I’ve always walked by and wanted to try this place and I plan on coming back probably once a week now since I live so close. Thanks again guys!
Food was amazing. I love the fried chicken and panang curry was like no other. Would definitely come back.
I love Thai food and this place it is just amazing. The flavor is so good.
Attentive service, big portions, great taste and customizable on the heat. Great place for groups and happy hours.
Delicious food. Nice atmosphere, nice staff.
Good Thai food. Quick service. Friendly staff. Loved the decor. Gave us a plastic plate and utensils for our 4 year old which I thought was nice. Good came out quickly. Would recommend and revisit.
Ordered pad thai and crispy garlic chicken - both food came out in less than 5 minutes, and sure enough they were horrible. Pad thai was too sweet and salty, the noodles were super thin, and overall the noodles were mushy (didn’t taste stir fried at all). The chicken tasted okay, but we could tell this was already fried prior, and then quickly fried again before coming out. As a result chicken was hard to chew, dried out and fried skin themselves were too brittle.
Giving 2 star only because the server who took care of us was courteous enough to not charge us for the pad thai that we barely touched.
We had a table for 5, seated quickly, the food was okay.. a couple of drinks requested were not remembered, flagging servers wasn't super easy, had hoped for better. Maybe we caught them on an only okay day? Probably wouldn't go back 🙈
Great place to have a meal 😋
Thai cuisine is a harmonious blend of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami, creating a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate, reflecting Thailand’s rich cultural tapestry
Best birthday celebration I've ever seen at a restaurant trust!
The service can be middle of the road sometimes... but the food quality is consistently high; and the atmosphere is nice. My go to in the neighborhood.
Good food. Very costly. They don’t give rice with their entrees and it has to be ordered separately.
Good food
Someone told me about this place. Visiting our granddaughter at college and taking her out for lunch. The food and service were great. We will come back. The only complaint was the parking.
Frequented the Bellevue/Redmond location many times but the Capitol Hill location was my first. Food is decent, quality ingredients, well prepared, delicious flavors; friendly service; a bit pricey for small lunch portions; challenging paid street parking; restrooms are located downstairs & shared with other businesses; QR code menus only; clean, modern, spacious urban style interior. Support your local restaurants & small businesses good8
The food was very good, the atmosphere was very party-ish and the price was quite decent.
Highly recommend the fried rice, pad thai and green curry.
The service: they close at 11 PM on Saturdays and we felt like they were asking us to pack everything and leave by 10:20 or so. Felt a little rushed because of this, but other than that, everything was great and we will return.
If you are looking for an over the top birthday experience this is the place! Food is always great and our server Astri had Fantastic customer service skills, was very helpful with the menu and great recommendations.
Bai Tong has multiple locations, but this location is a delight! I tried it for the first time with my spouse and my best friend, and we really enjoyed it!
I love the vibe of the place. It is casual, yet modern. I love their little birthday celebration they give birthday folks as well so fun. The service was excellent and was fast and efficient. I do recommend making a reservation to make sure you get a seat, as it does get busy, especially on weekends.
My group had the fried spring rolls, the tom kha soup with fried tofu, garlic chicken, and fried rice with fried tofu. The food was excellent. We all enjoyed the food. It was some of the best Thai food that we have ever had. It was fresh, hot, and full of delicious Thai flavors!
I highly recommend Bai Tong if you enjoy good Thai Food!
No reservation, walked in and was greeted and seated. Food and drinks came through swiftly. After a while i forgot about taking pictures because i was obsessed with their fresh rolls and pad sei lew. I also ordered the yellow and red curry which were both so flavorful. The kind server even packed what was left for me to enjoy later! Very generous servings.
Very good food, very chill atmosphere, fast service, did not wait at all. Went for a birthday, great experience.
Food is extremely good. Curries, and pad thai is delicious. however, cocktails are terrible. We ordered 4, only 1 of them I would reconsider. Tamarind, raspberry cocktails are so bad. Butterbeer is sugar overloaded. Spice level 3 is moderate, same as other Asian cuisines.
Food and atmosphere are good, but the price and serving sizes are hard to stomach.
A super trendy atmosphere at this Thai Restaurant. The main dish was excellent. A great portion size too. We both got the Chicken Pad Thai. I got level 3 Spicy while the other plate was Level 1 out of 5. Level 3 was a lot spicer than I expected so next time I would get Level 2 since Level 1 was no spice at all. The side of white rice very good and fresh. The Veggie Spring rolls were average. The Thai iced Coffee was very tasty and delicious. The service was good. There were multiple different people checking in on our table. I loved how each table had a personal pitcher to give us the ability to refill our water. Overall, a great Thai dinner and experience at premium prices.
Favorite Thai food spot in town! Red curry is the best.
We went there late on a Friday and got seated immediately which was amazing because we were so hungry. We ordered fresh spring rolls for appetizers and with the peanut sauce, they tasted alright. Everyone’s main course tasted good and the portion size was okay as well. The cocktails were on the sweeter side which made drinking them a little difficult. Overall, a good place with great ambiance!
kind of a seattle staple. they clearly do a lot to make the place look nice for different holidays, which i appreciate! the food is always pretty consistent, although not the most authentic thai food. service is always fast and friendly. very reasonable prices for the amount of food you get (i rarely am able to finish a 20$ meal here)
This is a great place. The staff is really friendly and fast. We shared a few small plates and they were all really tasty and flavorful. We will be back!
Incredible food, especially spring rolls. Outstanding quality for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed our time here very much
We didn't have a reservation and had to sit next to the bar, but we were happy to get in. Good food, great service. Drinks looked like fun but more $ than I wanted to spend for one. I had crispy garlic chicken. Also got to taste the pork belly which was yummy.
Ordered Pad Thai for pickup. Spent an additional $2 for an egg that I didn't get. I was looking forward to Bai Tong. This used to be my favorite Thai spot and lately it's just meh. Also noticed the food safety rating has fallen to an ibismal "okay" (aka one or 2 violations from SHUT DOWN). Going to pass going forward. Too bad.
