If you find yourself around SeaTac International Airport and the environment, please do yourself a favor to visit Chontong Thai Cuisine. Food here is made fresh to taste. Starters i had Chicken Satay , for main course Tum Yum Tofu and Shrimp then Thai Tea to wash it down. Prices are reasonable. Overall everything was really good. I will come back again and again.
I was the 1st customer of the day, so the vibe was peaceful and comfortable. Good soft music, super clean, just relaxing. Beautiful decor. Food was fresh, tasty and well seasoned. I got the green currency and ginger tea. Veggies crisp, pork tender and not overcooked. Perfect welcome back to Washington after early am flight. Amazing and friendly service. Will be back.
Such a cute place that was quite close to the airport! I had my pad see ew taken out and by the time I eat it in the hotel, it was a little soggy but the flavors are still great. Dining in would probably have been much better.
Anyways, the only person who was working out in the front was such a sweet and friendly lady. She started out a little conversation even though I was only there for my to go order.
The place seemed nice and has good atmosphere.
Delicious food and even better service. Our server was so sweet. She went above and beyond to make sure my 4yo nephew was entertained - he has so much energy and can be a handful— it was so nice to feel welcomed here and not like bringing a small child is a burden.
The food was so tasty and this place is so close to the airport - We’ll definitely be returning!
Stopped in for a light takeaway dinner of soup and spring rolls while staying in the airport area. Our meals were deliciously flavorful and just what we needed after a long travel day. The service was warm, friendly and quick; we were on our way in no time but would have gladly stayed to enjoy the calm, peaceful atmosphere had we not been so tired. We’ll definitely keep this little gem of a restaurant on our short list for the next time we over night at SeaTac.
My fiance and I were visiting her niece in Seattle and we're staying near the airport (SEATEK) and found Chontong. None of us ever had Thai food so we decided to give it a shot.
Boy am I glad we went here. The food tased amazing. The meal sizes were plentiful. The atmosphere was lovely.
Note to reader: the spicy level is very subjective. My fiance and I got a 2 (on a scale of 1-10) and it was quite spicy. Even the waitress said she can't go above 3!!
I would highly recommend Chontong to any passers-by or even locals. Please keep in mind that the prices on Google are NOT accurate. The dishes are ALL at least $5 or $6 MORE! That would be my only negative.
Chontong Thai is one of the best Thai food restaurants we've ever found. The comfortable envionment and outstanding service was matched by the delicious food. We had spring rolls with plum sauce and fresh rolls the thier delicious signature peanut sauceThe Tom Kha Gui and chicken noodle soup were superb. We live a few hours drive away, but we'll offer to take friends to the airport since we have Chontong nearby for a treat.

Lovely people who own the restaurant and I believe t is all Thai women who are not only out front but also women in the kitchen. So a customer is assured of a real Thai meal.
I loved the Tom Kha Gai soup. I had the spring rolls as well but should have picked the chicken satay. My friend had the red curry which I tasted and it was also very good. A sweet find close to the Seattle airport and a good place to eat if you are staying in a hotel close by. Our airport Marriott hotel had a terrible selection of food offerings and so we said screw that let’s go out to eat. In this case Marriott overpriced poor offerings for food made us looked elsewhere and that is how we wound up here. Very happy we did.
Such a nice place! We got pad tai and crispy garlic chicken, and it was sooo delicious! Definitely didn’t expect such a delicious meal and a great service in a place near airport.

Food was very good and fresh. The lady was very friendly. We enjoyed it.
You have to seek this place out! Very beautiful and romantic/cozy.
There was no one else here but I’m not sure why, the food was amazing and the service was great! Loved the experience
Terrific food!
I had a while to wait for my rental this day, so I stopped in here for some lunch.
Very peaceful place, extremely kind people, and the food is fantastic. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I fly into Seattle!
This is the best tasting Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to!! Very tasty food. Incredibly nice people. DEFINITELY worth giving a try if you’ve never been!
Delivery order so (+5 degree of difficulty). Placed the order online through Google link to website. Decent although I got a cancelation message from door dash. Restaurant called me within 2 minutes, said disregard door dash, order will be delivered. 20 mins later I had hot, good quality food. One of my better experiences with delivered food, except the dd glitch. But no skin lost.
Quiet place adjacent to SeaTac. Fabulous food, fresh, homemade. Pot stickers & pad se ewe were top notch. Had fresh ginger tea which was just perfect. Nice people.
Very nice and clean place.
Delicious food with a nice atmosphere and excellent service. Highly recommended.
fantastic thai food right next to SEATAC. i have a discerning palate and this among the very best thai i have had. bravo.
Susie is the best host. Delicious food, cold beer and excellent service. Have been there many time and will keep coming back. Everything is served family style.
Satisfying food, lovely staff, and excellent food price. It's definitely a good find during our visit to Seattle.
The prices on the Google Reviews are vastly different than the prices inside the store. Each dish is close to $20. The owner should post updated prices here so that customers can make informed decisions about going in, specially makes a difference with a large party
People of color - please avoid coming here.
We had an unfortunate experience having lunch at this place. About 4 to 5 tables that were occupied in the restraunt. The lady serving was impolite, didn’t care to take our orders in time, no pleasantries, water wasn’t served (and didn’t until we asked for it). We saw our food ready on the kitchen window and it took her 15 minutes to get to us and it was barely warm when we finally got it.
All this while the server lady was cleaning up, chatting with her co-worker and waiting other tables. All this seemed intentional and we were made to feel singled out.
Please find a better place to spend your money.

The yellow curry was delicious!

I stopped by this place as it was close to the car rentals at SeaTac and was one of the higher rated places in the area. But, my dining experience was weird.
We walked in around lunchtime, and it was mostly empty except a couple of other tables.
The server came in immediately to ask us what we wanted, we told her that we would need a minute to check the menu. She just walked away hearing that seemingly pissed off. We decided what we wanted soon enough, but saw that she went inside the kitchen and nowhere to be seen for a while. We were fine with a bit of waiting, so we didn't mind at this point. Meanwhile, there were some other customers who came in for takeout and the server came out and started chatting with them. They seemed like regular customers but they kept chatting away for a long time. We tried to get the attention of our server many times, but she just ignored us even after literally looking at us. After 15 minutes ot so, it was clear that it was deliberate. We contemplated just walking away because we were not sure what's up. She finally showed up about 40 mins after we sat down to take our order. Meanwhile, she didn't give us any water or anything.
She seemed very jolly chatting with the other customers, but totally neglected us for some reason. The only interaction we had before this was when we asked for a minute to check the menu, that's it.
No reason for a local restaurant to take this much time to just take the order when there are very few customers around.
Food ranged from terrible to quite good. Chicken satay was dry, rubbery and probably 2 days old. Pad thai was decent. Mango sticky rice was quite good actually. But, the weird service was a bummer!
I’ve never had a bad Pad See Ew. This place continued my streak of only good Pad See Ews.
The best Thai food in Puget Sound-hands down. The owner is very friendly and inviting. Our absolute favorite place to eat
Really good Thai, exceptional family running the place.
Ordered the appetizer platter, fresh rolls, crispy garlic chick and mussaman curry. Was all delicious and I eat a lot of Thai. Mango sticky rice was also mouth watering. Service was excellent - a very sweet time.
This place is near the airport and the street is very chaotic and it’s shockingly pleasant when you come into this restaurant. They have really really good sound proofing and when you walk in the ambiance is peacefully wonderful. They have pleasant music playing at a low volume. A water fall. Nice warm lighting but sun shaded windows so you can see outside just fine but the sun dosn’t beat down on you. The colors and the art and the tables and seats are all very zen. It’s simply peaceful in here. The staff was friendly and the food was great. Definitely come check this place out if you’re in the area.
I love the food here. Always fresh

Nice place, great service, food is okay. Close to airport.
Awesome Thai Restaurant. The owner last who works at the register is extremely friendly and nice and the food is incredible
I had the most delightful time at this restaurant! 🌟 The service was incredibly sweet, attentive, and helpful—making our dining experience extra special. The Panang Curry was an explosion of flavors, so colorful and perfectly cooked! And the Pad Thai was perfectly spiced with fresh, delightful veggies! Also my friend said his dish “had the best peanut sauce he’s ever tasted”. Bonus points for allowing us to make a reservation for 10 of us ahead of time! The super cute decorations added to the overall charm. The prices were fair, making it an all-around fantastic experience. Highly recommend this gem!!
My usual joint is closed for remodeling. Figured I'd give this one a shot. Regret that lark. Abysmal - ordered gai pad gra prow; 4 star spicy; no bellpepper due to allergy. Received essentially 0 star spicy food. No chilis at all, no other heat, barely any of the rest of the stuff you'd use in the sauce. Can't recommend. If "no bellpepper" was confused with "no chilis" that's still ridiculous because y'know 4 star spicy. And to be frank? I've eaten 0 star pad gra prow before (ah unadventurous friends)that was still much better. This was miserably bland.
I visited with my husband. The ginger tea tasted watered down and the Thai rice was sub par.. 1st and last visit. The staff is nice, though. My husband didn't like the food.
Great place to get some great food! Excellent service!
Great place right by car rental place SEATAC
I give this place five tongue in cheek stars because I like the design of their sign !
I've never eaten here personally. I pass it every day on my work route
We ordered online in their website and was told that the food would be ready in 10 mins. However their chef was running late and we got our food almost an hour late. The host was gracious to seat us inside and offered us some Thai ice tea while we were waiting.
Food was very good and we decided to dine in since the order to so long. We got fresh spring rolls, crab fried rice and pad ke mau noodles — all of which were very tasty! Will come back again!
This is a great little restaurant right down the street from the Airport
Food is tasty. Staff are friendly.
Fresh and delicious flavors. The spice level was just right for how I ordered it.
i walked in to pick up order, i could see the cook wiping his nose with his hands and continuing chopping bell peppers, and then afterwards started eating in the kitchen. not hygienic at all, but food is good.
Very friendly and fast service — excellent noodle entree and affordable, too!
The staff is very friendly. The food is phenomenal! The Crispy garlic is my favorite. My partner loved the pad kee mao. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and loved ones.
Standard strip mall Thai. Solid food but not memorable in any way. Nothing particularly to recommend it.
Great service and food! Absolutely loved the woman that ran this business! She was so accommodating and gave us free lychee at the end of our meal! 10/10 would recommend and will be back!!
Got the order wrong, took too long to prepare it, and the food wasn't very good. Managed to be spicy and bland at the same time.
I'm not likely to pick a Thai restaurant myself, but I let the wife choose, and she chose. I ordered the beef salad and was not disappointed. I asked for a medium heat sauce. I gotta say, I would definitely order this again.
Such a friendly place!!
Was starving after picking up my rental so pulled into this Thai restaurant that's right at the exit thankfully and was pleasantly surprised! Good service and I tried something new, the crispy garlic chicken and all I can say is WOW. So flavorful and beautiful, got it medium spicy, I highly recommend it if you want something besides the usual Thai. Yummy!!
Perfect example of food, ambience, atmosphere and kindness. The person waiting on us (probably the owner) was so upbeat, kind and funny. We were tired from a long journey and this place was perfectly located near the rental car pick up. Felt happy and rejuvenated as we finished our early dinner and left. Thank you.
I've only ever had delivery from here. We've gotten food plenty of times and it has always been flavorful and fresh tasting. I would highly recommend getting food from here. My favorite is their Tom Kha soup.
Really great food. Lovely place and staff.
The food is amazing
I'm glad I've found this place which is right next to my work at avis. I frequent here at least 4 times a week. Food is authentic and quick. Service is the best. Come eat here leave stuffed and satisfied
Veryyyy tasty Thai food right spice levels food came out fast and hot waitress was pleasant
This is the most adorable little restaurant with the best food! They have fantastic service and always so welcoming!
Great food and great service!
Every time I come here, I am absolutely blown away. The food is incredible, the service is friendly and fun, and it's such a good value. I come here fairly often and will definitely continue doing so.
Stopped on after getting to SeaTac early for a flight. Had a great meal that nailed the 5 star spice! The staff was very friendly as well!
Awesome Place! Food was super tasty and the staff were very nice!
Food was excellent!
Good food. Excellent Pad Thai.
The fresh rolls and pad see ew were delicious. The server was very friendly.
This place is extremely infested with coach roaches had a couple in my food then when I used the bathroom there was many coach roaches running all over the floor they were coming out the walls very very disgusting and disturbing sick man
Amazing! Very friendly and kind owner and delicious food. Will definitely be back! Try the Singapore Noodles, so good!
Everything We ordered was over the top in quality and taste! Garlic chicken, Mussman, yellow curry fried rice and mango sticky rice were excellent. The service and atmosphere are outstanding as well. We'll definitely stop here every time we're in Seattle.
Beautiful Thai restaurant and very friendly staff!
I have a peanut allergy, which I emphasized to the waitstaff but two of our dishes still came out with peanuts.. be careful to check your dish if you have allergies
Great food and atmosphere! Super low stress but good quality dining. Food was sooo yum. We both loved our dishes, Pad Thai and red curry! Spice level was not too much. Also, food was served very quickly which i was impressed with. Decorations and vibes were also just great. Overall good meal and made us both happy the rest of the night!
Went for a quick dinner since we’re staying at an airport hotel & we all really enjoyed the food. It was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommend the Pad See Ewe and Garlic Chicken.
I pass by this whenever going to SeaTac, and this time I didn't.
It was worth the visit.
I went here again. It's still good.
Loved the crispy chicken. Smaller chunks and tasty sauce. Pad Kee Mao was not as flavorful. Mango rice was great.
The Singapore Noodles was something serious, and it had the perfect amount of spice. Chontong is now officially one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.
Customer service is very fast and professional. The food was fresh and delicious
Location: Right by the Airport car rental place on Pacific Highway. They have their own reserved parking spots for restaurant customers only. Location seemed very clean inside when we arrived in the first hour of opening on a Saturday.
Service was warm and friendly and they offered to refill our drinks several times and us 3 ladies trying to catch up with each other (one was from out of town) didn’t feel hurried at all.
Food was a hit and miss for us. I love papaya salads but this Papaya salad did not taste fresh. I feel bad saying it because the elderly ladies serving us were so nice. The papaya salad and veggies were harder instead of crispier. The sauce was also a big problem like it was a mix that wasn’t made fresh or from a couple nights before. It had a more fishy taste than usual with a sour taste, almost tasting spoiled. All of us took one scoop on our plates and didn’t go back for seconds.
The calamari appetizer on the other hand is a must order! It was hot, fresh and the texture had the most perfect chew. The dipping sauce tasted like is a regular bottled sweet chili sauce, but I feel they can improve and find a more creative pairing for it.
Kee Mao Noodles was too sweet for me and oily and not enough veggies. This is another dish I usually get at Thai restaurants. The portion is also smaller than other places. I would not order again.
Dungeness crab fried rice was delicious and one of the favorites. They put the crab on top of the rice and you can decide to mix it all together first.
MSG - I believe they use MSG at this place because after 20’min or so my chest started hurting/tightening and my allergy symptoms started showing. I usually get this at some Chinese places when they put quite a bit of MSG. I believe it was in the crab fried rice. I could be wrong on where they placed it. But I strongly believe there was a bunch of MSG somewhere due to my reaction.
Conclusion: Great attentive and friendly service and easy location to meet up with friends near the airport. Hit or miss on food. Personally I wouldn’t travel out of my way to dine here as I know better Thai restaurants that does my favorite Thai dishes better. But if u find your go to dishes here, you should be fine.
Great food and service. Our go to Thai
Favorite lunch spot for their fried rice and great service even on online orders they are so kind and attentive
The place was basically empty and it took an extra 35 min from when they said it'd be ready. I sat at the bar and waited and half the time the chef was eating the food with her bare hands and preparing the food at the same time. The server was also preparing food with bare hands and then going back out to help the customers. I never saw anyone wash their hands.
It was good food, flavorful but I only got 4-5 bites in and my stomach hurt.
I love this place. Very clean, customer friendly and worth every money I spent. Thank you ladies for making me feel welcome. I highly recommend this place.
came again to the chontong Thai with other 2 people for dinner at 6 pm on Sat. No reservation but no problem. Parking is front of the restaurant. Inside the restaurant is a good atmosphere and clean environment. A lady always lovely and nice smiling. There were a few customers in the store and seats were available. First we ordered appetizers Platter. I wanted to eat a pan fried wide rice noodles but out of wide noodles. So I ordered Pad Thai w tofu and Red Curry w chicken. All the dishes were easy to eat and tasted good. we want to come again.
Great food, and it’s across the rental center SeaTac. Try the curry chicken..
Great small restaurant vibe, tasty food and good service.
Amazing food & very friendly
Great food, fast and friendly.
This place is worth it!! People are friendly their garlic chicken and crab fry rice are really good 👍👍👍
We ordered online from Chontong. The update notifications were helpful, the delivery driver was polite and professional, and the food was great. We will definitely keep this restaurant in mind the next time we pass through Seattle.
I've had Thai food all over the country, but this is THE BEST I've ever had.
The sauces and dressings and all around flavors are so delicately balanced, that this food could only made by someone with true passion. Just remarkable!
Susie was so sweet and accommodating. Be sure to order the crispy garlic chicken and the curries.
Quick and hot
Amazing food, and the owner, Susie, is so kind and accommodating.
THEY HAVE A ROACH INFESTATION .! I saw a baby on the counter when I picked up my order .when I made it to my destination and proceeded to eat my meal. A larger baby was crawling on my paper napkin in the to go bag threw everything out! 36.00 plus 10.oo tip Be careful
This place is great with a large selection of food and drinks.
This little restaurant was a treat. I was traveling, hungry, and just found it by accident. The food was delicious, the waitress/owner? was very nice and really quick with bringing the food out. I really enjoyed the fresh rolls and garlic chicken. I will go again if I get the chance.
Enjoyed my yummy food. Service provided was great. And the best thing to enjoy was the organic ginger tea..
Service was attentive, the food was delicious and served timely. Ordered the mango and sweet rice for dessert and thought I had died and gone to heaven. This is now my go to restaurant when I have to go to the airport.
Gemütliches Restaurant in der Nähe vom Flughafen.
Schönes Mobiliar und passende Dekoration.
Nette Bedienung, authentische Küche und sehr feines Essen.
Love
We ordered ‘PAD THAI with VEGETABLES’ , also clearly mentioned while ordering that we don’t want any kind of meat or even egg in the any dish we order, as we are vegetarian. Women taking order positively confirmed that there won’t be any meat or egg and then we placed the order. What we got was- Pad Thai with EGG. We realised it just after having first bite and then asked for clarification. Women who took the order confirmed with chef that he put egg ‘mistakenly’. That does not help. My mother lost appetite and couldn’t eat anything from that restaurant further. She became uneasy as she has not eaten egg in her lifetime and she had it because of chef’s negligence. Hotel certainly does not meet standards and can’t comply with dietary requirements of the customers even after clear instructions. They just say ‘yes’ to everything to take order and take payment. Hotel management did charge us for that order without apology. This is not as per food and safety standards in USA.
Even after mentioning the food requirement due to allergy, It was missed. Had to go through the worst experience of dining. Choose this restaurant wisely.
It was good food. Small portions.
Delicious authentic Thai food and the service is top notch!
Still Best Thai in the south sound.
Absolutely amazing. Our server was super nice, and the food was incredible. Best noodles I've ever had. I can't wait to come back!
4:00 PM 07/12
prices in the menu is incorrect. the bill and the price in the menu is different. they didn't tell us that beforehand about the difference of the price. bad services
Flavor was very good, but rice noodles were over cooked to the point that they were more like big masses than noodles
Such a nice restaurant! The decor is awesome too. Pictures that are in frames that look like shuttered windows. We loved the Pad Thai.
Mid grade service, small quantity portions for the price. $2.5 for $.10 worth of rice.
Green curry was full of veggies and delicious. The owner was delightful and the ambiance is really nice. It’s a great place to stop after dropping off your rental before you head to the airport! Great Mango and Sticky Rice!
Delicious food, large portions and great service!
Food portion was good. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Excellent Thai food and tea
Been here twice..it just a hop, skip and jump from seatac, fresh Thai food and man is it cooked fast
Delicious appetizers, pad Thai and curries. Definitely give this spot a try.
Great Thai Restaurant near SEATAC
Staying at a near by air B&B, we ate here for our first dinner and it was delicious! Would absolutely recommend.
pretty mid thai
Food and service was excellent. We tried all 3 desserts and loved them! Our waitress was very polite and friendly. Thank you!
Awesome place! We stopped by there on our way to the airport. Food was excellent! The lady working was very friendly. It was so good that I took an order to go for the plane ride back home to Oregon, and she packaged it appropriately so it wouldn't spill. Eating it for dinner tonight. Highly recommend and we will be back there next time we are near Sea-Tac.
Acceptionally authentic Thai food. Great service and accommodations.
Comfortable, clean atmosphere and friendly staff. The Panang curry was absolutely delicious - spicy, aromatic, and so good we want to try all of their curries. Also loved the egg rolls. A great meal and close to the airport and hotels.
Cozy and good 👍 feels like Thailand
Great Thai food, Suzy, the server was great and very attentive and very friendly, big portions and great variety. Thank you, we will be back!
Awesome little place across from SeaTac car rental facility...My mom found this place years ago on a bossiness trip before returning a rental car prior to her flight as she was pressed for time and had now become one of her favorite Thai spots of any city! Came here today with her for the first time and will definitely be back whenever in Seattle.
Excellente food.
Thai fried rice my favorite.
But the server need to take some training on customer service.😥
Ordered fresh rolls and Pad see ew chicken five star spicy extra vegetables for pick up. Ordering online was easy and there were no additional fees however when I showed up 40 minutes later my food wasn’t ready, they didn’t even see the ticket to come out. There was literally no one in the restaurant.
Do NOT get the fresh roll, it was not fresh. My mung beans were already soft and slimy and there was hardly any meat. It was not worth the nine dollars at all, especially since it wasn’t made fresh, I watched her pull it from the fridge and cut seran wrap. the sauce was very much separated from oil and peanut, did not even open because of how gross it looked.
The pad see ew had a good spice level but I can’t justify paying an additional $2.00 for the small amount of extra vegetables I got. It was more oily than I normally prefer.
Honestly, not a stellar place but gets the job done. I see lots of room for improvement and will keep shopping for my go to Thai restaurant. Total $29
Waited 10 min no one could even bother to let us order. They were in too much of a flurry arguing with each other. Left, no good food could come from that.
The staff was borderline rude. Not interested in dine in maybe. Food quality below average
If your are vegetarian , please be aware that they cannot make any of their curries without fish sauce. Hence, what they can serve a vegetarian is limited.
The service by the owner is very courteous.
The food was ok, given that they cannot fully cater to vegetarians, I could not order my favorites dishes.
Thanks
The worst experience What i have in this place i ordered fried rice with tofu extra broccoli just want no broccoli in it & 3 pieces of tofu & the test was no good at all plus i asked her extra utensil she don’t want give it to me my first & last experience i have.
The lady server has bad attitude ordered shrimp curry and served me with 3 small shrimp on the curry and very little portion I don’t know if he’s the owner she looks like she have issues
AMAZING!! Great meal and fun staff!! Very fresh!!
The restaurant the and food are all very good. The BGM is awesome. It was beyond my expectation.
Kind of a mixed bag here. The service was painfully slow. I was seated for almost 20 minutes before I was even offered the chance to order a drink. The food was good and bad. I ordered the crab delight appetizer and the filling inside was cold. It really ruined the dish. The crispy garlic chicken on the other hand was delicious and probably the best dish I've eaten this month. It's tough to give 5 stars when there were issues, but also tough to give 1 star when that dish was so good. They fall in the middle of three stars.
Fresh thai. Really good
Wonderful Thai dinner for the four of us, we had it family style. Will definitely be back.
the tom yum was ok. beef salad was bottled lemon juice on cheap meat. nothing really thai about these items. being thai, myself, I made better dishes
I had a yellow curry and a pad Thai both with tofu and spicy level 3 to go. Yellow curry was great and pad Thai tasted too spicy for a 3, although ingredient wise was very delicious. I’ll ask for a less spicy pad Thai next time I guess.
